Madrugar para irme de viaje siempre me ha hecho empezar bien el día, pero venir a primera hora a pedir un matcha y un cafelito y que te atiendan tan acaloradamente y con tanto cariño… es otra cosa. Muchas gracias a las tres chicas que había esta mañana (29/01) por el servicio ☺️

Una de las cosas que más me gusta de viajar desde Málaga es el momento de pasar por starbucks y tomarme un matcha fresquito antes de volar. Hoy me atendió Mónica, fue súper maja y ha contribuido a que mi día sea un poquito mejor!

Las dos chicas que me atendieron hoy en el Starbucks del aeropuerto fueron súper amables. Desde el primer momento tuvieron una actitud muy cordial y atenta, hicieron mi experiencia rápida y agradable a pesar del ajetreo del lugar. ¡Da gusto encontrarse con personas así cuando estás de viaje!

During our 10-day family trip to southern Spain over the Easter break, our journey began and ended at Málaga Airport. Amid the travel excitement and airport bustle, one unexpected highlight was the Starbucks located near the arrivals area of malagacar. While I was hoping to pick up a city-themed mug to add to my travel collection, unfortunately, they didn’t have the one I was looking for. But what the store lacked in souvenirs, the staff more than made up for in warmth and service. From the moment we walked in, the baristas greeted us with genuine smiles and a friendly attitude. Even with a long queue and the typical airport rush, they remained patient and attentive. One staff member even took the time to check their stock for the mug I asked about, which was a thoughtful touch. The drinks were perfectly prepared—exactly what we needed after a long flight with kids—and the seating area was clean and welcoming. In an airport setting where service often feels rushed or impersonal, this Starbucks stood out for all the right reasons. A small reminder that kindness and professionalism can turn an ordinary coffee stop into a memorable part of the travel experience. Muchas gracias to the team—we’ll be back!

I landed at Costa del Sol Malaga airport. I had time to wait for my shuttle to arrive. Since the morning I wanted to drink a cappuccino. I was happy to see the Starbucks logo. The place was packed, but there were several free tables. I left my handbag at one of the free tables, and went to order at the counter. The girls who worked there were nice and efficient, they worked in 2 checkouts at the same time. It took a few minutes for the coffee to be made. I really enjoyed drinking a cappuccino, in the busy atmosphere of the terminal.

The Starbucks in Malaga Airport I’d average at best. The place is very busy and I would say it’s understaffed and therefore lots of unkept tables.

We were on this nice strolling street and we decided to stop in a cafe for some refreshments, especially coffee. This was the one that we spotted first, so first sight, first choice. It was good.

Arrogant staff. The hibiscus iced tea contains only ice cubes and syrup. Disgusting. In addition, our order was ready but not delivered, we waited 5 minutes before receiving it.

Although it was not busy at all when we ordered our coffee and cakes, not a single table was clean, which unfortunately meant we couldn’t sit down anywhere. The staff seemed more occupied talking to each other than keeping the seating area tidy. I don’t mind paying Starbucks prices, but in return I do expect a level of service and cleanliness that justifies those prices. Unfortunately, that was not the case during our visit.

In any place where customer service is important, the quality of that service is paramount. At the airport, time is of the essence. Apparently, only for customers, because the staff prefers to talk to each other instead of serving them. Not to mention any kindness. I do not recommend it!!!

The staff is careless. I ordered with no sugar on my chai latte but the drink was super sweet and tasted really bad. I have been drinking chai latte from starbucks for long time. It was not like this. Staffs were talking with each others. they don't really care about customers.
