Got off at Alhambra, in Martinez for a quick brunch.. Ordered two Breakfast Jacks with Bacon. Easy, inexpensive and less costly. Ask for a fresh egg. Plus I got a yummy mocha iced coffee. It was great.

I go here often and not long ago I had just got the news that my grandmother was in the hospital on oxygen with Covid-19. The same day it just so happened a small curly fry was missing from my order. I turned around and clearly distraught walked back inside. The staff was incredible and polite and patient and wished me well. Sadly I was in such a negative space that I simply scowled and walked away quietly, which was very rude of me. Later when I came to my senses I was touched by their empathy and polite behavior. Thank you for putting up with me, this is a great little franchise.

You could tell that they are very organized and work as a team. Our Sourdough Jack's tasted very fresh and the fries were great.

These gals serving via drive thru are so spot on . My orders are always correct and my fries always hot ! I give their service a 5mg mmmmmgood!

Great place to grab a bite. The just reopened almost a full month ago and they’re doing great. They do have a few mess ups here and their but what do u expect they’re trying there best to accommodate volume of customers coming thru after being CLOSED for 3 MONTHS. GIVE THEM A BREAK PEOPLE. Just glad to have them back.

It’s fast food that’s good but it’s the amazing people who work here that make it my favorite fast food place to order. The drive through can be very busy at peak times, but the excellent staff here keeps the line moving!! I have been coming here 2-3 times a week for over 15 years and I have never had one negative experience. Quality service with a smile and my food is always fresh and delicious!

This place does something most fast food restaurants dont. They provide separate bags for each meal deal purchased. It insures accuracy that your order is correctly given to you. I've yet to see low quality(cold) food served to me as many times as I've been there as well. Which is impressive considering how surprisingly fast drive thru service is.

Hey was pretty damn good! 1st time at an Jack in the box I order often no cheese cuz I'll need to hit the restroom to often but didn't they did it not a problem food was hot and good price only problem I had is my wife got 2 cherries on her shake and I only got 1! Food is good, a little pricey. Review what they give you for sauces at the drive through, it's not always what you asked for.

Food is almost always as ordered. I have some food sensitivities and preferences that are occasionally ignored. Drive thru can be slow.

The place is good, however the prices are a bit up there, so not one for a budget. But over all, good place for something to eat on the run

It’s my own fault really... drive thru was fast. No waiting. Easy to order, no mistakes, friendly service. It’s just that it’s JITB. MEH. This was not the junk food I was craving.

Nice drive thru staff and a good replacement if not what ordered they have been trying to give a good customer serviçe these day they are worth a retry now.

What is with Jack in the Box internal employees? I have been to several of them and find that employees do not brand their service as friendly. Corporate needs to have workshops that train people in positive attitude. I have been pondering on giving jack a review because I thought it was just I. It's not!

No complaints on food and atmosphere. However, there was no queue up my arrival but it took about 5-10 minutes for a staff member to finally acknowledge that I was waiting to order.

Recently redesigned building, all new equipment which made a difference you could notice in the food quality. The fries were crisper and tasted fresher than before. The burger meat also tasted better.

Seems like the female Mexican worker's are in sync with each other .. The leader seems to have everything in order .. Clean , fast and precise .. and friendly .. Best Jack in the Box I've been to in the Bay area 👍

Food was good, staff were pleasant. Dining Area was clean. The only thing that bothered me was 2 double cheeseburger meals with medium size drinks was $28 and change!

I usually go late night when I do go. Service is usually quick, but the line does get long. Suggest ordering from the app and you can get freebies. Get there before 10 and you can go in and skip the drive thru. Staff is super nice and doesn't sweat you about extra sauce!

There are very long wait times in the Drive-Thru line of the new Martinez Jack in the Box. They always forget to give me the salsa that goes with the pita sandwich.

Every time I eat at this location, which is rare, it always gives the feeling of a rock sitting in my stomach.. Idk why, i don't get this feeling from my usual location.

I love the staff at this restaurant. And the food is good.. however ..the corporation cut corners with menu items so much and then jacked up the prices ..it's not really worth what u get. HEY CORPORATE YOU THINK WE DIDNT NOTICE ALL THE HAMBURGERS SHRUNK IN SIZE BUT ALL WENT UP!! OH AND BRING BACK MY PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM BURGER PLEASE.

Good food. Fast service. Deceitful practices. Combos come as a small, but when you order, they ask you “medium or large” as if those were the only choices.

They forgot the birria ranch dipping sauce, so I had sad dry tacos.

Got the chicken strips at Jack in the Box and they had a slimy texture but the curly fries were crisp and warm.

I got to have my Oreo Milkshake and this place always has them! Been coming here for the past 6 years to quench my middle of the night munchies!

It's decent fast food. The service at this location is usually better than most others.

They are always out of something (mini churros, egg rolls ect) and very often get the wrong fries. Two of my kids are set for what fries they want (curly for him and straight for her) but I will get both curly or both straight so now one kid is not enjoying their meal but the other is AND it's usually both straight fries which is frustrating since it costs more for the curly ones.

This place can be a hit or miss. Staff members aren't always happy to see you. Last night I went and the two people at the window where just not having it. They got my drink wrong and told me next time they wouldn't be able to change it do to being busy or they would charge me extra, mind you it was their mistake. After that, I was trying to pay for a second time because I usually check my receipt to make sure I didn't get overcharged or incorrectly and well obviously I couldn't receive one because there machine didn't even have paper in it !!! Took them long enough for me to just drive off without one. I guess they don't know where to find it ? Who knows.

I grew up coming to this jack in the box and it's been good, consistently. But I recently went there after having moved away from the area and was kind of put off by the employees here. You know when you go through the drive thru somewhere and either you get pissed because someone is blasting their car stereo or you are courteous and turn down your stereo? Well this time I heard loud rap music but it was coming from the drive thru speaker. The people in the kitchen were rocking out and it was so loud I could hear it through the drive thru. When I get to the window they were all laughing and not being professional at all. Also my burger was really hot. The bun was actually hot to the touch I almost couldn't eat it. This is not normal.

I go through their drive Drive thru at least once or twice a day! Daytime workers are better then the night crew! I've noticed that my food is getting colder every time I go there! The new worker has potential, but tends to talk too much, instead of listening, and often forgets items! Daytime is the best!

Food was fire but dude skimped on the curly fries and he was light weight rude && he gave bbq sauce instead of ranch . If my cousin wasn’t so hungry and ate the little bit of curly fries in his munchie meal for 13$ I woulda took a pic it was not good lol. And bruh tried to send me away without my boba lol. Some Mexican he was probably having a bad day and I always use my manners please and thank you lol.

Decided to try again, got an iced tea....and apparently they don't carry lemon anymore!!! 🤬 iced tea and lemon go together and they used to have lemon. It just sucks they wont carry lemons

I swung through the drive-thru looking for something quick and greasy, and that’s exactly what I got. The curly fries were hot and crispy, probably the best part of my meal. I ordered a Jumbo Jack and it was fine—not amazing, but it hit the spot. The bun was a little soggy, though, and the lettuce looked kinda tired. Service was fast but not super friendly, just your basic “here’s your food, have a day” kind of vibe. The inside looked clean from what I could see, but I didn’t stick around. Honestly, it’s not gourmet, but it gets the job done when you're craving fast food

I usually order from the Jack in the Box mobile app for efficiency's sake, choosing to pick up from inside at the counter so I can bypass the usually long line at the drive through. Lately I've been finding the dining area to be locked despite the mobile app and Google relaying that the dining room is open from 6am to 11pm, not to mention there's a sign on the window saying the dining room is open and no visible dining room or drive through hours are posted outside the building. The service is otherwise better than most other places I go, but this one inconvenience has been ruining my experience so far.

Their "fresh brewed" ice tea comes out of a coke free style type machine Major detractor for me Hate tea from a machine and when you advertise fresh brewed I expect that

Just now got back from John Muir Hospital. My son got food poisoning after eating the breakfast platter this morning. 12/22/2023. This is the first time it has happened.

I went through the drive-thru, ordered a fish sandwich with cheese and ketchup; I was very specific. My order was correct on the screen. When I got home and unwrapped the sandwich, it was slathered in tartar sauce, which I can't stand. I called to tell them and to ask for a credit. No one answered the phone even though there were no less than 3 employees with in view when I ordered. I know people are having bigger problems that tartar on fish, but how hard is it to get an order right?

My cousin and I went in to eat. It was clean inside. Service was slow for us being the only patrons. Our meal came in bags without napkins or ketchup and took about 5 minutes for them to get us both. They suggested we order online, that way we could take it to go. So much for dining out, after all that remodeling.

I just went there at 4 46 pm and the drive through was empty , there was a paper there that says " sorry doordash only " and the person who answered said politely sorry we are closed at the moment. It's good that they are kind but I would preferred my egg rolls , specially when you drive 5 miles for it .

This hours of operation need to be updated , there was one car in front of me and 2 cars behind me waiting at the drive thru and it was closed . There was lights on and people inside but nobody working the drive thru .

June 24th around 6pm. Waiting at the drive thru, told to wait it's been 15mins, so I figured I had time to leave this review.

The guy who takes orders in drive thru is rude and does not read back order. I was not not prompted to wait but I waited 30secs until I asked thru the mic if they are getting orders or not. Sucks!

Pail $11 for a burger. And large curly fry. Got home. Got did in med fry. Not the burger I orderd. It was lunch time so it was packed. I should of checked it before I left.

I'm very tired of not being able to get my breakfast on the way to work every morning because you guys open whenever you want to I don't know how many times I get there at 6 30 645 and it's still closed people in the office not saying nothing acting like they don't see me please open on time and when you're supposed to.

On a Monday night. My bf an i went there for a soda. We pulled in an asked a question to this worker with long blond drity hair, believe his name was Daniel started a fight with my bf on jack in box property an was still on the clock at work. The coworker said a lot of unnecessary things an throw this first punch then called the cops (like he wasnt the one started) now my bf is not allowed there because the kid didnt kno how to keep his month shut. I think the worker should be fire because he was still on the clock an he throw first punch at a customer went the customer just asked a question. Like what do yu guys think?

Garbage cans overflowing, windows were dirty, egg rolls, and jalapeno poppers overcooked. Employees were using bad language, heard the "F" word several times. I did not see a manager around to talk to.

Oct 5 2022 Wednesday midnight 12am, an African American employee threw racial slurs to me when i tried to pick up an order through the drive-through. He needs to be fired asap.

Went thru the drive thru only to have a guy standing at the pick up window holding a sharp object in his hand.. looked like he was intoxicated. Never again will I visit that place.

Jack, If your going to close your 24 hour store at night you can at least turn off all the lights and update your business hours. I was hungry and now I'm hungry and sad.

I ordered extra cheese on my breakfast jacks did not get it they are closed trying to call to get my food remade they refuse to answer the phone and guess who made it the manager sure enough she was in a rush to get out of there she didn't even bother to look at the order just seeing two breakfast Jackson didn't notice that extra cheese was applied to the order and it was a mobile order so the comprehension of these people at the store need to be checked because someone back there does not read English

The lady refused to deal with my coworkers refund,told us to come back another day but we are far from this city. Maybe it really wasn't her fault but she had lots of attitude when we simply just wanted a refund

So I go through the drive through and pay with my credit card ... the guy gives me a receipt but not my card. He then gives my food and hurries and closes the window. I think and get his attention. He comes back and swears he handed it with the receipt. I showed that the receipt never left my hand. He laughed and turned away. I said nothing funny. I need my card. He pulled it out of his pocket and said, I accidentally put it in my pocket with mine. I asked for the mgr and he said he was the mgr. Don't pull your card out there

I purchased an iced coffee which was filled to the lid with ice. I drank through the whole coffee in 2-3 sips which is very frustrating when you pay twice for their coffee than McDonalds. Also, my hash brown was burnt and hard as a rock. Overall the Staff seem nice but the food was and had not been living up to the jack in the crack I know they can be. Guess I’ll have to specify Light ice and light cook on the hash brown next time.

Wth. If you ask for a burger without the nasty sauce you pay for a plain burger. Maybe they could offer some alternative to the gross sauce they now put on everything. It is not tasty and gives me the worst heartburn so I don't eat it.

Just went through the Martinez drive through. Got to window, Employee''s first words was you need to wear a mask. Said sure if I had one. Ordered $27.00 of food. Got home had a half order of dried up cold Fry's. No ice in my soda. And very fumed. Covid 19 is no reason to give people lousy food. Called to complain and got a voice machine. Very lazy customer service. Never returning again. Don't get the food!!!

I ate a fajita pita sandwich 6/2/2020 and bit into a hard substance that broke my tooth and cracked the crown of another tooth, went over there almost everyday since, the store manager Andrew is never there and was lied to about the other two people who said they were managers they didn't even offer my money back so I had to go through oral surgery and now wait 6 months to do implants so I asked to have the owner Lauren call me, no call ever. I think it's only fair they pay for the incident actually twice the amount to keep it off court, now I guess I will just have to sue in court for the maximum, and I bet they'll want to see them but y'all already had your chance. I will accept no offer period

Horrible experience March 22 8:30 am rude girl taking order asked for creamer and sugar in coffee went to take a very light sip and hottest coffee I have had in my entire life burnt my lips tongue the worst in my life like boiling hot water what the heck are you guys trying to do to people... No cream no sugar.. Can't taste anything taking pain medication needless to say never go to jack and the box for breakfast again..

I ordered three burgers, three milkshakes, three fries, and one chicken nugget and one coke ，but he gave me two burgers, two chicken nuggets, two coke，and the very disgusting look and tone of the staff by the window. It sucks, I spent $69 and promise not to come back

The night shift a disaster they'll be slapping music like in a club and the long line, last time took me almost half an hour to 4p min. to get my food always in bad mood I'm not going to jack after 5:00 pm hell no!! poor management.

Ordered their new bacon combo and 2 spicy chicken cluck sandwiches, but unfortunately it was a long line which made me late for work so I just took off instead of checking the bag and of course they forgot the 2 spicy chicken cluck sandwiches and now I don't have enough food to last my 12 hour shift.

Charges extra for chicken in the chicken salad that comes with it standard. No other jack in the box charges extra, and the menu says it comes with chicken without extra cost. Other comments here report the same thing and it continues to happen Manager argued with me and was very rude.

I went through the drive-thru, and not only did the lady keep interrupting me, but after I placed part of my order, she repeatedly gave me the total and told me to pull up to the window, even though I wasn’t finished ordering. I also saw her dip the cups directly into the ice barrel without wearing gloves. I believe the health inspector needs to check this location because the same lady who handled the cash also dipped her hand into the ice container. Also maybe consider having some who can speak English fluently and has a better attitude

Been there a few times I always get my food cold and all stiff I ask for them to make it fresh and they will just heat it up ! 😂 that’s why i prefer the jack in monument i rather drive the extra mile than to deal with these snobby people … i mean im paying for it ! I don’t want to have some stale food 💯 manager there is really rude also and they seem to not care for their jobs at all it’s really sad to see

I had just had surgery today... I ordered five value meals from the menu. And we're speaking of the one in Martinez California by the way. So the lady in the window when you drive up to it and pay for it she repeated it so much more differently than how I said it..... I asked so nicely to slow down and then repeat it and she goes ma'am I'm only repeating what you ordered !! I said that's fine but that's not the way I ordered it ! the way I ordered it was one value meal at a time. Therefore I can keep track of how she is charging me you know? Instead of saying five hamburgers five french fries but it wasn't like that I had curly fries and one I had this and that and another milkshake with another but she wanted to add them up all together instead of repeating what I said the way I said it was one volume video with curly fries add a chicken sandwich with a large milkshake each value order was different... When I got to the window she slammed it so hard she almost broke the glass !!!! That is no professional Jack in the box employee at the window taking my cash at the window !;! She obviously needs to be fired right away !!

By the time I got home shake was warm, burgers were dry, and curly fries were cold. Paid 28 dollars and it flat out sucked. Normally any other day would be fine but for some reason this Sunday night was awful. Very disappointing and disheartening.

I had came to this jack in the box to get my mom and I food. We ordered 3 burritos and waited for 20 minutes in the drive thru. My mom missed her train and I told them we had a train and the lady was not helpful and said we have orders to do. Fast food should not take that long to make.

The worst sandwich I've ever had in my life. I got a cluck sandwich and when I bit into it was so hard and dried out it hurt my teeth literally uneatable. Thank you Jack in the Box for taking my money and giving me a hockey puck. I will never eat here again and I hope no one else will. If i could give it 0 stars i would.
