We decided to check out this spot without a reservation or anything and were seated pretty quickly despite it being Mother’s Day. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. Our server was kind and graciously explained the specials and provided suggestions. The food and coffee were GREAT. Decent portion sizes, we could not finish our meal. My husband and I were tempted to get a second coffee to go though. All the food tasted so fresh, we were raving about this place to our family. I think this will be our new fav breakfast spot.

The Skillet is incredible.

The food is always delicious and the coffee offerings are creative. It's always so hard to choose what to order! We also love the staff who always are kind and patient. Our oldest likes to sit at the counter and watch how it all works.

I have not been here to dine in but they brought bagels to my place of work. The bagels are delicious!

Don’t go here unless you want amazing food, great service, and the most reasonable prices around. It’s all of the best parts of a fancy craft coffee shop that serves upscale fancy brunch, but set in a cozy diner vibe. 11 out of 10. You can also just tell that they have built something special, from bringing around extra huge fresh bagels to a few random tables and other small acts of kindness, this is a special place. Thanks again for starting our Sunday off on such a great note, looking forward to coming back again soon.

Best Poutine you will ever have, hands down. Whatever the wait may be to get in, I assure you it will be worth it. We waited 25 min to be seated as we showed up brunch time on a sunday, and the Poutine made all of it worth it.

This was our first time here but it certainly will not be our last! The ambience is nice and cozy, the food and service were amazing! There were so many yummy things on the menu that we wanted one of everything, but I chose the cheese blintz and my friend chose the avocado toast and both were equally amazing! We will come back again and again and look forward to the next time we can do it hopefully really soon. Highly recommend visiting here, oh and I got the Vietnamese iced coffee and it was so yummy.

I cannot rave about this place enough!! Mendon Brunch on the Brook is a diamond in the rough. The first thing that stood out to me was the wonderful hospitality of the owner. He walked around to every table and asked for feedback with a big smile... you can clearly tell he loves and is passionate about his work. The mocha latte was absolutely magical- I dream about it at least once a day. The avocado toast, chicken fried steak, bagels, and B&B plate were clearly scratch-made and of the utmost quality. Truly perfection in every bite. I can't wait to bring more people in to experience this treasure of a place, and I want to try every single thing on the menu!

Had a wonderful breakfast with a group of friends. The place was busy, but everyone was very efficient and kind. We tried a few different coffee options including a cappuccino and mocchiato. They were very good. We also had the croque madame and the poutine. The croque madame was a perfect traditional representation with a perfectly cooked over easy egg and bechamel on top of two slices of toasted sour dough and a pile of good ham. The poutine was AMAZING. Beefy cheesey goodness with lots of crunchy diced potatoes. On top of that pile was a perfectly poached egg. I would highly recommend both dishes, but the poutine is something I'll definitely be going back for. The eggs were beautiful, I'm very picky. I imagine everything here to be technically close to perfection. It is obvious someone spent time to get things right!

Come with your appetite. Everything is pretty much made in house and nothing is frozen. We enjoyed the avocado toast and French toast. My latte was also delicious! My biggest rule especially for breakfast, if I can make it at home it’s not worth it. I can tell you that all of this was chef quality and not just a home cooked meal. This place is worth the drive if you aren’t in Mendon.

Probably the best breakfast sandwich in Rochester, the "Brook". It had brisket, caramelized onions, gruyere cheese and egg. Just amazing. Oh yeah, and that French toast everyone keeps posting pictures of, it is that good.

Don’t walk, RUN! This place is great!! Came in on a Sunday with our two children for take out. But we will definitely be back to dine in. Seating is limited with 4 tops and bar seating creating a cozy, friendly atmosphere. They have a variety of skillets, sandwiches and classic eggs as well as coffees and lattes. We got two sandwiches that were out of this world! The staff was friendly. So happy to see this addition to the hamlet in walking distance from our house!

We have come here twice in the last 10 days- both times were cozy and DELICIOUS meals. I absolutely love the ambiance of this cafe. The menu provides enough choices to make the taste buds water. Definitely try the pressed coffee- so fresh! They make their own bagels and have a special one each day. LOVE the flavors - blueberry-coconut bagel with vanilla bean cream cheese, among other varieties.

Incredible bagels! Rivaled those of NYC 👀 Had a delicious BEC and a cardamom mocha, and my mom got the avocado toast which not only looked amazing but tasted so good, too! And for sweet breakfast lovers, I’d definitely recommend the French toast

My wife and I love going here for brunch on the weekend, just don't get their too late or you will have to wait.... but it's worth the wait. The food is delicious, especially their house made sausage patty and links. I haven't had a thing yet that wasn't top notch. Perfect for a weekend brunch or a quick bagel and coffee. I went with the $15 classic breakfast with two meat and two eggs. Tasty!

Been wanting to try this place out for so long. I finally went ...well worth the wait and it didnt disaappoint. The highlight of the breakfast was that my niece, and I won the big colossal bagel. The atmosphere there is great looks a lot more well done than many of the previous businesses that have opened here. Fits the vibe of bagels. I ordered the Lox sandwich, which is the smoked salmon with cucumbers cream cheese and pickled onions, and it was very tasty. I’m not sure if I had the option of a side with that but I definitely would have gone with the corn beef hash. 100% recommend

I've had several meals here. My wife and I have had breakfast here. And my difficult to please friends and I have had several brunches here as well. Start to finish, this place is special. Everything is fresh, home made, and prepared nicely. Skip the chains. Here's a place with real people and real food. Enjoy.

Mendon Brunch on the Brook is such a lovely, cozy breakfast spot! The staff was really attentive and friendly. I got the cardamom mocha latte, which was delicious! I'm not used to the spice of cardamom so a few sips were a little bitter at first, but the spice mixed well with the mocha syrup. Very good, definitely recommend! I, also, got the lox bagel sandwich on a plain bagel, which was good, but I would have preferred the cucumber in the sandwich to be sliced a little thinner. All of our breakfast bagel sandwiches came with a slice of melon on the side, which was a nice addition! Overall, a great place for breakfast/brunch. I'll definitely be back!

The steak wasn’t remarkable. The potato pave was nothing memorable. The French toast was really good.

Decided to give this place a try... Won't be doing that again!!! Went in and stood at the please wait to be seated sign for a minute and then a gentleman behind the counter asked if we were dining I. Told him yes and he let us know there was only counter space available and if we wanted a table that we would have to wait for someone to leave. Cool. Told him counter was fine and asked if we could grab an open seat. As we walked to the seats , a group got up to leave and offered us their table. We went to the table and started to clear off glasses from previous party. A woman(gray hair with dreads) came over and kind of rudely told us don't do that, just wait. I told her I don't mind, I was just trying to help out. She then somewhat mumbled you should have just waited to be seated like the sign says. We decided it wasn't worth staying with snarky comments like that and went elsewhere for brunch. Definitely won't be going back!

We weren’t even given water or menus. We eventually just walked out because it was clear we were not going to be served. I wonder if the food if any good, wish I could’ve tried it.
