Good place for a tasty bite at a reasonable price point—which can be a rarity in Miami! Pizzas are nice and thin, great for lunch. I'd say each pizza is individually sized. Indoor and outdoor seating, with about half of the outdoor tables in the sun, half under an awning. Worth a shout.

I ate at Piola this week on the suggestion of the front desk from a hotel up the street. Definitely glad I did. The food was absolutely fantastic! And service was equally good. Cinthia took care of me and gave good guidance on the menu, even offering to show pics from her ordering device so I'd know what I was getting. She made me feel welcomed and at home, so it made for a great experience. I ended up getting the Cannaregio pizza and it was so good and different. The orange oil combined well with the prosciutto and Burrata. An awesome choice in an unassuming location with plenty of charm. Prices are very reasonable, too.

Grabbed dinner here last night, and had a lovely time. The wait staff was very easygoing and accommodating when we asked to move inside, and our server, Lenka, was very helpful, friendly, and efficient throughout our meal. We got the bleu cheese ravioli which my friend said was excellent, and I got a pizza with vegan cheese & (meat) pepperoni (i am dairy free, but eat meat) which was super tasty as well. We finished our meal with some good tiramisu, and 2 decaf cappuccinos one with almond milk which was surprisingly delicious in the drink. Would definitely come again and highly recommend our server Lenka!!

Was in the area on vacation and stumbled upon this place on Google and man never reviews weren’t wrong. My Gnocchi Legano was some of the best Gnocchi’s I’ve ever had, they were so fresh, moist and melted in your mouth. My Mom’s Ravioli Lombardia was excellent also! You won’t go wrong with anything here. We loved it and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the Miami area!

My friend and I had lunch at Piola and we had a great experience. We both ordered a pizza (the capricciosa and the burrata ones), crunchy and soft at the same time. The dessert was a shareable portion of Tiramisu’ suggested by Gaston. He has been nice and professional with a great attitude and a very welcoming smile that bright our day. We really enjoyed this pizzeria, the ambiance and the staff. We will definitely go back next time we are in Miami.

Dined at Piola this evening. The food was amazing. Place was great and very unassuming spot. It was a a nice casual place with great outside seating. The music wasn’t too loud which is what my husband and I wanted for a nice casual dinner date. Melissa was our server. She was fantastic. She recommended the pasta white sauce with seafood and the pistachio dessert. Both of which were outstanding. She checked on us often and felt well taken cared of. The pricing was great considering we’re in the touristy side of Miami. We will be back!

I had a wonderful experience at Piola. I was in Miami by myself and stopped in during the day to see what it looked like. I was greeted by Sergio who was incredibly friendly. I said I would like to come back for dinner and sit outside and he introduced me to Luz, the hostess, who made me a reservation. I went back for dinner and they both greeted me very kindly. Gloriana was my server and she couldn't have been sweeter. I had a Margherita pizza and garlic knots. Both were delicious. I also had a half carafe of the house white wine which was a great deal. It was a great experience and I will definitely be back!

We sat outside which was nice but busy, even during the week nights for dinner. We tried the garlic knots and margarita pizza. The garlic knots were ok (kind of dry and needed extra olive oil) and the pizza was delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine for their half-priced bottle deal on Wednesdays! Delicious chardonnay. We also had the tiramisu, which was pretty tasty too. Our waiter said it was the best and it is homemade. Our server, Humberto, was wonderful! Such a great personality and very nice. So overall our experience was good here and we’d go back next time we’re visiting. The bathroom is inside the hotel area.

Piola is one of the rare gems around the mid-beach area of South Beach. A great outdoor atmosphere on Collins Ave that also serves wonderful coffee and desserts, as well if you're not up for an entree. Umberto was our waiter and greeted us like we were family. Great food, great service!

My husband claimed that his carne & co pizza was one of the top pizzas he had eaten in his lifetime and proceeded to buy an extra pizza to take on our flight later that evening. Let me first preface this buy saying we grew up in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area with many Italian friends and restaurants so we are a bit spoiled when it comes to Italian cuisine. This place is unequivocally the BEST we have ever had! Better than anything in NYC’s Little Italy! We visited this restaurant three times in two days. It is THAT good. The salads, the home made pasta, the sauce, the meatballs, the lasagna and the pizza. Everything was top notch including our charming servers: Helisa who we had twice and her twin sister Gloriana who we had tonight. Great all around. We will be back next visit.

Loved it so much we came back twice in the same week! Chantele was a fabulous waiter- she spotted every time my husbands water was low and refilled it at least 6 times without us ever asking. Atmosphere is fantastic; not to mention we also got to meet the owner who came over to check on us and was very pleasant, conversational and very friendly. Worth every penny, the food was just exceptional!

It was very convenient for us when we stayed at a hotel nearby, few steps away, opened until 11 pm, we had late dinner and it was amazing, super delicious, extremely friendly real Italian chefs and waitress. We loved the food, and the high quality of food, you will feel you are in Italy! Smooth and delicious Italian olive oil you can taste in the food! I went there with my son and it was an amazing experience! If we go again to that area, that where we will eat again!

This is the second time I’ve visited Piola. The first time we visited because it was close to our hotel. We loved the food so much that we made a trip just to make sure we got their meatballs appetizer and bolognese. We’ve received excellent service, both times from Cinthia. The atmosphere is great, with a wonderful outdoor patio. I look forward to coming back!

The good was great! I ordered the Hollywood Pizza, garlic knots, and a clam, shrimp, and rice dish. Everything about the food was delicious. Service was great. The only flaw was that our server was working inside and outside and she left us unattended a little longer than we should have been.

I ordered the spaghetti alla bolognese and it was delicious. Salad we ordered was the Machu Pichu and it was just okay, nothing I would consider ordering again since it was literally a bunch of ingredients tossed in a plate, something I do at home. Service was great. Gloriana was super kind and friendly, and was always attentive to our table, always making sure we were doing good.

Great food and awesome service. Gioriana was very sweet!!!! I was a bit confused with the 18%tip included in the bill, it’s not common in Canada, there we choose what we want to give (which i would probably give minimum 18%) but just having it imposed is different for me, maybe it’s a normal rule in US.

We tried Piola at Mid Beach, and overall it was just okay especially if you’re vegetarian. There aren’t many vegetarian options apart from pizza. We tried the Gnocchi Pompe, but it was quite bland and lacked flavor. We also tried the Houston pizza it was interesting with the kick of avocado and cilantro, something different to try but it didn’t really stand out in terms of taste. Overall, it’s decent, but not somewhere I would specifically choose again if I had other options. It would be great if they expanded their vegetarian menu to offer more variety and flavorful choices.

Found this place because it was very close to the hotel I was staying at for the weekend. Food was good. And service was great. Started off with garlic knots and their marina sauce which was delicious. We both got specialty salads and they were delicious. I got the seafood spaghetti for lunch which I thought was good but only after needing to add pepper and cheese for it to be really good. My friend got one of their pizzas which they said was delicious. The restaurant is also connected to a hotel lobby, so don’t be alarmed if people are coming in and out of the restaurant and going in/out of elevator. My small complaint: we were offered bottled water without being explained that it was going to cost us money. Wish we were told this, probably would have still ordered the water but would have appreciated being told.

dogs in the dining room scratching and licking up food u drop and waiter touching the dog then went straight to serve food at a table . they wanted me to pay for food i did not eat. i did order lasagna but in the mist of waiting the dog rever itself roaming the restaurant i dnt like that you can tell they were not trying to offend the people who brought the dog and that they are regulars of the establishment. maybe everyone is ok but not me the dog literally scratched in the restaurant. We’re open food and people are eating, and I literally seen the waiter touch the dog and then go proceed to go pick up a tables food and deliver it to their table without washing his hands. there’s no dog that clean in the world for you to be OK with dog hair flying around your food.. the fact that they had an attitude because I didn’t wanna to pay for the food, even though I didn’t eat, it was even more disgusting. He basically tried to say I had to pay for it because I ordered it as far as I know if I did not eat the food and the food did not touch my table in the midst of me seeing a unsanitary pet in the restaurant you cannot force me to pay for anything. He was very adamant to tell me 3× oh no, you’re going to pay and of course he added in his own gratitude, and I’m at the start disputing those gratuities because in your menu it does not say gratuity included. You’re basically using deception to gain tips. And the attitude he gave me when I told him I didn’t want the food. He didn’t deserve them two dollars. But of course they always act like my kind is so dramatic but who really wants to eat whether there’s a dog walking around in your presence near your food.

If you’re coming primarily for the food, there are many better options nearby. This is American-Italian rather than Italian, and the execution was inconsistent. The ravioli (pictured) was disappointing—the sauce was runny and overly sweet. It’s advertised as pear and Gorgonzola–filled, but there was no discernible Gorgonzola flavor at all. The meatballs were very good, but the garlic bread fell flat. The pizza had an extremely thin, crispy crust, which may appeal to some, but it wasn’t what we were hoping for. The white wine is also something you’ll want to skip.

I ordered the supreme pizza on the 12/27/25When I got home and was eating already have of a slice, I realized pepperoni's were missing. So I went again there and the manager handled the situation very well. He said I could keep the pizza and would get a fresh one. Therefore he gets the 2 stars. Because the pizza was for me not that good I changed the order to lasagne. When I was going out to wait the waiter in the black shirt took away the pizza which was not very nice and kind of rude. He overruled the managers decision. The lasagne was only average nothing more and the pizza not even crunchy and with not much of a taste. I would not go there again.

I am a local and this was the worst meal I have ever had in my entire life - we ordered penne Alfredo - we literally got it with some milk sauce not cream and Parmesan - the cheese is definitely not a Parmesan pasta is undercooked chicken tastes sweet without any spices I am literally afraid to eat it - zero exaggeration I checked reviews and I cannot believe my eyes this place has so many positive reviews. Staff said 3 words to us, and I bet 1000$ bucks chef who made this pasta wouldn’t eat it himself.
