We live in the Ironbound and eat here often for the past 6 years or so. Service is always friendly and excellent, and the food is so so tasty. This is one of our favorite go to spots, with amazing food and delicious, lethal cocktails and sangria. I recommend especially the pollo florentina, the potatas bravas, the asparagus-stuffed chicken, and the chocolate or butterscotch tarte de maria for dessert. My favorite drinks are the illegal sour, the paco luca sour, and the passionfruit sangria. I never regret any of these orders, and always stumble home full and happy! 💕✨

This is a nice restaurant in a quiet neighborhood. There is a big selection, if you are a meat eater. For vegetarians, it’s mediocre, at best. I have decided to boycott any restaurant that tells me they will just take a dish from the menu, but put in vegetables to make it vegetarian for me. This lacks forethought and usually the dish arrives very bland. So when the waitress said she could remove everything from the paella and just add some vegetables, it was a pass for me. The suggestion of, you could have a salad is an insult. The meat eaters at our table liked the food.

Definitely a place I will return to. Highly recommended! I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food is simply delicious; each dish was beautifully presented and full of surprising flavors. The place is very cozy, with a warm and thoughtful atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a good meal with your partner or friends. I want to thank Daniela, our waitress. She is attentive, friendly, and very professional. She took care of every detail without being intrusive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thanks to the entire Casa d'Paco team!

The service was good, and the atmosphere was nice, which made for an enjoyable experience. The food was tasty, but I did expect a bit more variety on the menu. It felt like the tapas were mostly turned into larger plates, which was interesting but not quite what I was hoping for. Overall, I had a great time, and the food was well-prepared. Even with the menu feeling a bit limited, everything we ordered was delicious.

I stopped here during a layover from Newark and had a great lunch. The jamon croquettes were very good as they are hard to find in the US. The other tapas I had were excellent as well. The Flan was delicious and a great way to top it off. I think this restaurant is reasonably priced and will be back in the future.

What amazing food. Some of the best Spanish tapas I’ve ever had. I devoured the whiting and shrimp, chicken and prosciutto, and salmon and garlic mash. Everything was absolutely delicious this place really knows what they’re doing!

Loved the place, the main room, the backyard, the tapas but the best part was the Sangria. The environment is very traditional. You feel the Spanish atmosphere. Next time in Newark I will come back.

The food was yummy! Not mind blowing but good, quality and hot food. My biggest issue is the parking situation. While they have a valet all he does is sit there to watch your double parked car… a little dangerous so I didn’t fully enjoy my meal worried about my car. They charge $5 for the service but not sure it makes sense because without a valet no one would go there. Probably won’t go back.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! All the tapas I tried were next level. From the garlic shrimp to the potatas bravas the food here is nothing less than amazing! They have a full bar and I enjoyed an espresso martini that was so delicious ! This place is such a vibe

The reviews are quite correct, the place is a five star. Service is superb, drinks are well mixed, and the food is just delicious. Room for improvement? I would serve bread warm. I guess I had to pick on something. P.S. I visited a month later and the bread was warm indeed. Kudos to Casa d’Paco team, well done!

What a great place. Well thought out plan and design. I ordered 5 different tapas all were mouth watery delicious. The paella was outstanding. Every bite had so much seafood. My hubby is really picky about his flan and the flan was by far the best he ever had he ordered another piece to take home. It's definitely going to be a repeat spot for us. Enrique provided 5 star service and although he was our server every employee stopped by our table to bring our food or just take away empty plates. The entire staff are exceptionally hospitable.

The food was good and the sangrias were amazing. The service was excellent. Our waiter gave us some recommendations that ended up being our favorite tapas. The crab-vocado and the chipirones were really good. Would definitely recommend for some sangria and tapas.

I’m not sure what happened to this place as this used to be my go-to for tapas. The service was outstanding, which is why I am Giving 3 stars. The food was hardly edible. The ribeye came out as if boiled and undersalted (there was more flavor in the vegetables) and while we ordered medium it came out medium well. The tartar’s flavor was overpowered by the bed of celery, which made it taste like tuna salad. They should just get rid of the celery and mayo and it would be good. The bacalao was as if it was left smoked by accident with no flavor except smoke. The bombas maybe would have been good on its own, however the smokiness of the bacalao made the smokiness of the chorizo undesirable. What a miss today was. I certainly hope it was just a one-off but I will not be back here for a while when there are other tried and true steak spots around.

Had high hopes for the place based on reviews but we were disappointed. Food was ok but there is much better out there, especially for tapas in Newark. Staff were very nice. But the details were telling. Jamon was cut too thick, seafood ceviche had almost no fish in it. Shrimp was frozen. Pitcher of sangria was $40! I’ve never seen that in my life. 3 types of well liquor and soda and mostly ice.
