My daughter has a specific order. I messed the translation to the order person...then I became sarcastic. Ordered the drink reading off my daughters phone. With an accent on crem-ay. After embarrassing my daughter i proceded to ask for a cyanide pill. The staff thought it was hilarious and paid for my daughters drink from their tip money. My daughter still is kinda upset about it but she got to keep her 7$.

Sweetest employees ever. I ordered a venti latte and as I was pulling away I popped the top off my coffee on accident and spilled all over my center console. I was headed in for a long shift at work so I asked if they could top off what I had spilled and they made me a whole new coffee instead. They were so kind and accommodating it totally turned my day around.

Ive never met an unhappy barista at this location! I can’t say that about locations. Today I tried the sugar cookie latte and although they were out of oat milk which is can happen occasionally, It was good! Not too sweet or strong! I’d definitely recommend trying it as well as their new reindeer cake pops. So cute!❤️Happy Holidays

I would simply stay that this is the most friendly crew at Starbucks that I have run into the service was prompt and quick and the staff here are so friendly they're like a little family the beverage was absolutely refreshing I had a macchiato with oat milk and caramel I would definitely recommend this Starbucks to anybody that might be looking for a refreshing drink for food that's also healthy!

Best Starbucks I've ever been to. Absolutely love going to this location. I actually stopped going so often, because of the messed up orders, and ridiculously rude employees in Portland, ME, but since moving away from there, and finding this store, I go daily some weeks. Hell, I work at Dunkin' Donuts even. Hahaha!

My man Tanner that works here and I think Isa? Was her name? Both were so amazing when I came here last. I always get nervous ordering at Starbucks, as I never know what to try.. but they were great. Best baristas ever! Made an amazing drink, and got to see Tanner. They were fast, super friendly and just really awesome all around. Every time I go to this location I never have a bad experience. Unlike dover location. Rochester is way better! Thanks again for making my drink!!

Very spacious and comfortable. Cool modern design with great large windows and natural light. Fantastic wood furniture. Great place to drink some coffee and read a book or get some work done on your computer. Really impressed with the layout. No tables that aren't balanced or uncomfortable loud heavy chairs. Outdoor patio for good weather days. Clean bathrooms. Not over cluttered. Attentive staff. One of the best Starbucks I have ever been too. Not a cookie cutter Starbucks. Great job by this franchisee.

This store is 50/50. In the mornings, it's usually fine and quick. It is often very understaffed and I have waited over 30 minutes for a small order on several occasions when they did not start my order until I asked about it. I try to order ahead in the afternoon, but I've still ended up waiting.

The baristas, supervisors and SM do a fantastic job here. However corporate should invest more in labor. There were clearly not enough people on today. I was waiting 45 minutes today( no joke, checked my time stamp). I used to manage this store and dealt with the same issue with not having enough hours to realistically keep up with corporates unrealistic expectations. Do better corporate.

It's a Starbucks. Service was good I just wish they would call on people waiting in line for mobile orders. They let people block the online pickup area and will not call on anyone behind them even if the people blocking the counter are waiting for 5 drinks to be made and there are completed online orders.

It's a Starbucks but one that could use some decor in it. The place is very large inside but it lacks that warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you enter the building. Otherwise the coffee and food is good and the staff is very friendly.

Big Starbucks. Clean comfortable and space to move around. Drive thru. Many options beyond coffee. Once you get past the odd size names, it's great. I had the egg white sous. Low in calories, flavorful. Delicious. Used my first Verizon up reward, $5. Also for you want birds. They open at 5am.

Drinks are good but a little more expensive than your average coffee shop. Food is generally frozen and reheated but pretty tasty. The staff is extremely friendly here. There was once a time where all but one barrista called out. Our wait was maybe 3 minutes longer than usual and she gave us our coffee order complimentary. Was happy to tip, she was very nice and was obviously very on top of the situation. A wonderful addition to the Ridge.

Typical Starbucks. Espresso is underwhelming along with service. No one in this establishment at the time we visited and all the tables were dirty while staff stand waiting for someone to walk through the door. Tip given and no acknowledgement or any sort of polite customer service. This is why we stopped going to Starbucks years ago, but needed a spot we knew wouldn't be crowded this day. I don't wonder why. Coffee & espresso drinks are lousy as is service.

The baristas here are very nice, nicest out of any in the state tbh. I usually avoid Starbucks because of how mean workers can be but I like this one. Only reason I'm taking a star away is because I have a speech impediment and it makes it hard for me to order things as people often get upset with me, so I always do online orders here. The other day I was the only person there and I had ordered a drink after looking at the menu and then pulled up to the drive thru 2-3 minutes later. When I got my drink I was told to "wait longer to place my order"? I wasn't in any rush and I said it was okay they weren't done.. I've worked as a barista before and I really don't see how it could have been an issue. The person who told me this wasn't mean or rude in anyway but it just made me feel kinda sad because it would have taken me so much longer to say my order, it wasn't busy at all and I've never had this issue before

Nipsey, the server was annoyed when asked to make my latte with skim milk! Took forever to get it. Many customers came and went, my friend came in and served her coffee immediately, mine came after, I waited at least 15 minutes.

The employees were very nice, they made a good drink. But I waited 30 minutes for an iced coffee while car after car went, I understand being very busy & understaffed. But the people waiting inside shouldnt have to wait 30+ minutes for their orders… while people in drive through are waiting half that time with twice the order

Staff is super slow regardless of how busy they are. I wouldn't call them "friendly" but they're not rude either. Overall the experience isn't worth the price unless you're just a die- hard Starbucks fan. Coffee does taste good.

I ordered a cappuccino with a shot of espresso, caramel, and cream, with whipped cream. My drink had no whipped cream, it tasted as if I was drinking straight up espresso. The only thing I liked about my trip to Starbucks was my friend's drink, instead of mine. If you go here, stay on the safe side and order something good, like a pink drink or something.

Use the drive thru. Mobile order and walk ins will wait 30+ minutes. We waited 40 minutes inside. Lesson learned. Not the employees fault as they're short staffed. Otherwise they are very polite and working their butt off.

I want to start by saying I love Starbucks coffee. I always go through the drive-through because I am very busy. I know I pay more for Starbucks, coffee. That is my choice but I find it a little too in my face when they put the EFT machine out the window and then ask if I want to leave a tip. Of course I leave a tip, but it’s only because if I don’t, I’m not sure if my coffee will come back the right way. Just an old world thinking. I’ve been around a while. You just never know. In the future, do you think it’s possible you cannot have your staff ask if they want to tip at the drive-through window. Just a thought. $4.20 per a medium black coffee. Yup, I paid it and I’m gonna drink it slow.

Just an average drink. Nothing special. What I wanted wasn't even listed on the menu. One thing that was weird is they ask for your name, put it on the cups, BUT, don't, and didn't call out names either at all or very infrequently say them in a low tone of voice that no one would hear. I waited 15-20 minutes for 2 drinks. My name was never called. I just had to watch when orders came in and go check for it myself. That was not customer service friendly at all. At least I didn't have to pay for it. I had a gift card. It wasn't overly busy. I'm not sure why turn around for my order took so long. Thank goodness I wasn't in a hurry. I steer clear of Starbucks and this reinforces yet another reason why that is a wise decision.

So it's 3 stars because some days it's perfect. Service is great (even when they are short) , drinks are great, all great. And then there are alot of days where the service is not great (and it's not the same people who normally give great service). And I don't usually complain if like my drink isn't sweet enough or if they put sugar in my coffee and I didn't ask for it, but my peach green tea w/ lemonade had small tiny strawberry remnants in it and that was not asked for, which means try didn't really clean out the shaker they make that drink in. Again, some days it's perfect with great people, and other days with a different set of people it's not. I know the world sucks right now, but you still have to try to do your job right. *Update* It's getting better

Employees seem to wholly be focused on doing anything except their job. Boyfriend went inside and was the only one there. Barista took minutes to even realize he was in there. After taking his order, he took one at the drive thru and forgot about him. Fifteen minutes later, the barista looks up and realizes he's still there... And the store is empty.

Waited 30 minutes for two drinks, the baristas seemed to care more about getting the drive thru drinks sorted than the people waiting in the lobby. There were 4 people working and they were complaining of being understaffed, yet other coffee places around are that busy with only two workers with no problems. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this location if you are in a hurry.

Hands down the slowest and sloppiest Starbucks I've been to. I travel for work and happily pay premium dollars for my bougie drink because traditionally Starbucks is the fastest and cleanest service. I waited 30 minutes for my shaken espresso drink. I understand they had drive thru and online orders but my drink sat under the espresso machine for 7 minutes waiting for someone to finish making it. The crew of 4 seemed very disorganized. Although they rinsed the inside of blenders in between each order the outsides were filthy. The countertops had an overall theme of disarray with spilt milk stains down the side of the cooler. I expect this service from DD not Starbucks

Twice, I had to wait nearly 30 minutes for my coffee, ordered thru the mobile app. The last time was on 01/04 and waited 40 minutes and they were not apologetic, though I asked about my order. From my experience with Starbucks, this one is terrible. Considering the complaints I would think the owner would fix the issues.

I not sure who the genius was that decided the drive thru has to be as inconvenient as possible for everyone else that is coming in or trying to leave this area. Either you are blocked from entering the shopping strip by the back of the drive thru lane, or you almost get hit when the cars come around the corner. Not to mention it makes it very hard for people who are parked around the drive thru lane to leave and blocked by people trying to put in orders.

2nd person in line, waited 15 minutes to be served. Cashier literally sighed as she walked up to take my order. Also, the music is stupid loud. This is a coffee shop, where people come to talk, where some folks go for a first date, not a rock concert. Also, the place is crawling with flies. $16 for a small lemonade, a mocha and a cake pop to wait 41 minutes all told is absolutely wild considering I was second in line.

Waited over 20 minutes and had to leave because my break was over the Lady did say it would be a few extra minutes. They were busy but after 20 minutes, I should not still be waiting for a latte. I’ve worked for Starbucks in the past and I understand it gets busy, but nobody should be waiting that long.

I was in line foe a half hour and that was fine I made the choice to wait and not go inside the equally busy store. The person taking the order repeated it back correctly the. Both coffees were completely wrong. I was there another half hour inside just to have the coffee made again. This is the worst place I have been and I don’t think I will ever go back

We drove from New Jersey for a trip and tried to find a local Starbucks. We checked the hours for Sunday and it says 6am opened. We got there at 10am and it was closed. No sign on the door that it was closed for certain reasons.

If waiting 35 minutes for a single order ahead order that you already gave them 20 minutes to make is your idea of a good time, then this location is for you! If you like your expensive coffee 2/3rds full and made wrong, this place is REALLY for you!!

The coffee wasn't bad- but my boyfriend who has never been to Starbucks before asked them while ordering what current latte flavors they had (because I told him sometimes they have good seasonal flavors) she named a few and he picked one, and while we were waiting behind the car in front of us to get our order we heard the girl who took our order at the window saying to the customer in front of us loud and clear "oh don't worry you guys are fine, the car behind you literally asked me to name off all of the flavors when like the menu is right there; so yeah believe me you guys are golden." I'm sorry but it's pretty unprofessional and rude to talk badly about your customers to other customers. Especially when it is literally your job to provide customer service (answering questions, etc) Probably won't be back.

If you like Starbucks, just skip this one. I promise it'll be better for your overall relationship with the brand. These guys are not on any kind of level with most of the other stores, or the overall standards and expectations. Everyone I know has had bad experiences here. I've have several. But as a fan of the brand I kept coming back. Finally they broke me! Lol. The other day I drove through in the afternoon. Nice barista on the microphone asks what she can get me. Oh yea, they're very slow here. So my move is drip coffee for the sake of time. Maybe a cold brew or straight espresso if I'm feeling adventurous. Anything more complicated and you're living on the edge. So I ask if they are still brewing the holiday/Christmas blend. It's not always a given that they'll have three coffees brewing after noon. She explains they do not have Christmas blend available or any other dark roast or blond roast. I say ok, no problem, just a grande Pike place (standard brew). She proceeds to pause for a while and then says, we don't have pike place either. I say ok what do you have for coffee. She says, we're out of coffee!!!!! Hahaha. So then I say well then if you're out of coffee I guess I'm good. The problem is, now I'm in the drive thru and boxed in with cars behind me! Ugh. So I wait ten minutes before Im at the window, and in that 10 minute wait I talk myself into a dopio. I know, I got problems....so I get to the window and say to her...yea I was the guy that wanted drip coffee and I guess I'll just get a double shot of espresso. She proceeds to ring me up...which is cheeky but whatever. After I get a receipt she closes the window and I wait. 6 minutes later she comes back to the window and goes I'm sorry....and I say let me guess you're out of espresso too? And she says no but we're really short staffed. (Just a quick word here, I've held every position in a sbux retail store. There's no excuse to have no coffee brewed and a double espresso is one click of a button. Espresso shots should take less than 1 minute.) I remain cordial and she says we're making you're drink now. Anyway after 8 minutes more of waiting, I simply left. 3$ and 25 minutes later I have no drink. At that point I'm the one to blame. I knew better. This place is a total stay away. It's not worth the disappointment. Good luck.

Ended up going to a different starbucks to get a corrected drink because my girlfriend wouldnt drink the one from this location. The guy taking the orders was nice. It was pretty busy and all of the customers inside were getting confused and tried helping eaching other figure out what drinks belonged to who because the drinks where just being tossed up on the counter and no one was letting anyone know when there stuff was ready.

We had a mobile order that took them 33 minutes to make. I get that they can be busy but they seem to prioritize drive through and walk in orders over mobile orders. Very poor policy!!!

Everytime we go to this store they are out of a lot of drinks. 8 out of 10 times weve been here they are out of what we want. We live 2 miles from this location but we have to drive 15 miiles to another location that always have the drinks.

Waited inside 15 minutes for a simple ice coffee on what appeared to be a fully staffed crew. Not impressed. Mobile orders should not take precedence over actual customers waiting in line.

I went here for the second timeever. I sat in line for 15 minutes and watched all the cars in front of me order, and much to my disappointment when I got to the speaker to order I was told "Sorry we're closinging early today because 3 members called out". Yet they served everyone but us and we were the last in line. I don't think I'll be returning to Starbucks anytime soon. Thank god to the aroma Joe's down the street so I could get my coffee.

I've given this place multiple tries. Absurdly long waits even before the pandemic, mediocre drinks, mediocre and occasionally rude service, recent random closures w only a small "unexpected closure" sign on computer paper stuck to the back of the building drive-thru window where no one can see it from the front or while in line by the speaker box.. leaving their customers to continue to line up at the speaker box because there is no indication they're closed from the front. I was in line almost 20 minutes once before I could escape since the lane is curbed in and had people in front and behind thinking it was open when it was really closed randomly in the middle of a weekend day.. went to the grocery store and drove by again and the line was even longer. Worst starbs around, I gave up.

There was a big puddle in front of the cash register, I slipped and almost fell. After waiting a few minutes for my order to be made they told me they did not have chocolate to make my hot chocolate. So, no, I wasn't happy. I ended up not getting anything, my friend got a coffee

Why is it that you have 5 employees on a shift only 2 of them are doing the job you pay them to do and the others are either talking at the counter with what I can assume is their significant other and the rest I can see out back through the storage window talking on their phones showing each other memes.

Waited 25 mins for a coffee order. The pick-up counter had 13 orders not picked up and even with 9 people in the place, they continued to make online orders over in branch customers. Not smart

This Starbucks sucks. 20 minutes for a brewed coffee because you have to wait for the barista to make because the cashier can’t just turn around and pot it for you. Left without a coffee. Cashier takes everyone’s order so there are 15 people inside waiting. Don’t go here.

This store used to be great. Not sure what happened, but quality has gone way down. Drinks either made incorrectly, or not blended/stirred properly. Whenever there is a line, they’re ridiculously slow. I’ve waited in the drive through for over 30 minutes on more than one occasion. I’ll try to go to another location from now on.

Open RANDOM HOURS of the day at best!!!! Sometimes not open at all. Drove by at 6am, not even open. Went to Aroma Joes instead. Closed at 5:30pm. Employee told me open till 7:30. This store is a joke. If you can't keep the staff close the location down!! Oh wait a minute,,, Aroma Joes right down the street is open till 9pm EVERY DAY. They must pay their employees better. Don't waste your time here. Took us 35 minutes to get a coffee on Sunday.

They fill ALL orders, including those made on the app, in chronological order. The problem is that if you order in person, you may wait for an excessively long period of time while the staff fills orders for app customers who are not even in the building. After 15 minutes of waiting for a simple cup of black coffee, I asked one of the staff about it. She "broke the rule" and poured the coffee for me while dozens of people who had also ordered on-site hung around waiting for their drinks... not a logical or reasonable system, by any stretch.

I ordered a Nitro and espresso over ice and waited 30 minutes. Four people waiting near me had similar experiences. The workers seemed frustrated and overwhelmed. Maybe one of the worst experiences I've had at Starbucks.

I'm not sure what is going on with this Starbucks, but it's the worst I've been to. They consistently have the longest lines, with an average wait time of 30+ minutes. They lost out on my $ today, after seeing the atrocious line literally wrapped around the building. This was the cherry on top of the garbage pile, and I'm never going to this location again. Maybe try hiring competent employees!

It seems at this location, if you order a drink any way except for how it comes, you quickly get rude customer service and side eye. They handed me a drink with what looked like curdled milk and the avocado spread for my daughter’s bagel was brown on the top half and it wasn’t opened. The consistent sass from the staff at this location makes it a frustrating and an extremely unpleasant experience.

Five minutes until anyone was ready to take an order at the drive through, after ordering was notified that the espresso machine was down. Not enough room to leave the drive-through and had to wait 15 solid minutes for the person in front of me to receive their order (consisting of a single drink and one food item) before I could leave the drive through myself.

Honestly the Starbucks in Rochester is exhausting. The hours are not consistent, drive through times are insane, the lobby is hardly ever open, when you get to the menu you sit in silence for up to 5 minutes before you are even greeted. The place is a disaster unfortunately. I am done with Starbucks after repeated headaches and bad service.

After arriving when the Starbucks app suggested, my mobile order wasn’t ready. There was 5 employees and only one making drinks. Took me roughly 30 minutes waiting inside and the employee making drinks started complaining at the people waiting saying do not bother them or they’ll have to wait longer when no one was bothering them. Don’t bother wasting your time or money here. It would have been quicker going to Dover and back then waiting for a simple order here in Rochester.

Service is definitely 0 Kids that work here are very rude, very unpleasant and unprofessional including the manager. Also they are very slow. They are not capable of making a simple latte. Every single time I have to ask them to remake my drink, they give me a look like it's my fault. This place needs complete new staff especially a new manager. I wish there was another Starbucks near.

As someone who comes here almost daily, I’ve been nothing but frustrated with how I’ve been receiving my drinks. This is what my dragon drink looked like today, I asked for it to be shaken and it came back looking even worse. I went inside asking to speak to a manager because this has happen a lot recently and didn’t get very far just spoke with a team lead and her response is that it was natural separation yet by the time of me placing my order and getting to the window it was maybe 2 minutes. Spending almost $6 per drink here for it to be this quality is just upsetting.

Staff was nice but a half hour wait for a small coffee is far too long. Not sure if they lost my ticket because I had to ask for my drink after a frustratingly long wait, but either way, the staff should have been helping make orders instead of sweeping and chatting in the back.

Went here to buy whole bean coffee and have it ground to a fine course coffee but to my disappointment they had no regular whole bean roasts just seasonal. Really disappointed

Very unpleasant staff. Not kid friendly at all. They could have been nice and just asked to keep our kids voices down instead they were rude and said this is your last warning else we will have to ask you to leave. (inspite of that being the first time they coming to us to let us know that our kids were loud) Our kids were not loud. We have been to many eateries and cafes never have I ever seen staff being this rude to kids, but this has happened twice in starbucks. Starbucks need to teach there staff on etiquette and how to talk to costumers. I am never drinking coffee from here again.

Paid 8 bucks for a drink with Carmel drizzle and suppose to put it around the cup and well the picture says it all this Starbucks constantly messing up orders and after waiting for so long you just want to leave and not complain these over paid baristas have one job and get paid very well and most are incompetent at this Starbucks it’s just not worth the money over priced drinks and for 8 bucks each and every drink should be absolutely perfect and it’s rare to get it all of Starbucks should have precise training and instruction for the amount of money they profit from these over priced drinks

I placed a mobile order that was to be ready at 3:39. When I got to the store the doors were locked a sign saying the inside was closed. There were 10-12 cars already in line. The phones were off so I couldn't reach anyone to cancel the order. I was stuck waiting in line for 30 minutes for a mobile order. You would think they would turn off the mobile order option if this was happening.

The Rochester location needs some serious help. Waited 20+ mins in line for drive thru, and noticed my order was wrong when I was driving away. Turned around and went inside, without even being acknowledged for several minutes. Instead of remaking my over priced drink, she just gives me a small cup of vanilla flavoring of some sort. This kind of customer service is not acceptable, and I will never return to this location again.

This is literally gotta be the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to talk about completely unprepared for two weeks straight. I have been coming and getting pistachio drink and for one day out of those two weeks I have received the toppings that properly go on it. I don’t know how this location can never get there orders right or ordering for inventory correctly but yet Dover, New Hampshire or the Starbucks and target in Somersworth always have the product stock up always give you the proper drink that you ordered from somebody who went from drinking Dunkin’ Donuts to Starbucks. Not a good start

I waited 15 minutes and spent $9 bucks for two regular coffees. I placed my order in the app in the hope of saving time. Yeah, right. The drive through was slammed and the inside was empty. People trickled in here and there placing their orders at the register and they all got their orders and left. After watching one of the baristas texting for the second time I asked about my order. She never apologized and moved slow as death making them. Never will I go back. Plus the coffee tasted old and watered down.
