Sorry i did not like it (salmon poke i believe it was) but i ll still give them 5stars because products were fresh (maybe rice and pineapple not the quality i may have wanted) and people were so prompt and nice

The girl with red hair is absolutely kind, fast and efficient with all orders, so without a doubt her attitude every day is what every business needs! And the food is very healthy, I really recommend this place! 👌

Place is epic! Never ate here before but was in the mood for a poke bowl and this place did not disappoint at all. Great people too!

We had an amazing lunch at pokeworks. The poke was fresh and delicious not to talk about the service, Mario in particular who was very helpful, very friendly and even gave us a treat for the road.

Love the food & the aesthetic! The build your own poke bowl was great, and only $15 (which is average for NYC). Heads up - the spicy furikake has a kick! Pokeworks is also gluten-free friendly which has me PUMPED!!

Just came in with high hopes and they were met! Food was fresh and I really enjoyed it. Mario was my server and he helped with advice on my bowl and went out of his way to help and answer my questions. I would go out of my way to come back!

Every Pokeworks location I have been to has consistently provided top service and food quality. They are not the kind of places that need to give customers extra perks in exchange for good reviews - they earn it! (PS Cynthia and Mario is awesome!!)

Mario is the best food service man I have ever had the pleasure to meet! He is fantastic, takes care of my dietary wishes, and has a positive radiant energy I can feel whenever he serves me with a smile. 🙂 Whenever he is not here to serve me here at Pokeworks I miss him. Quick and easy place to grab a bite. No wait times for your food and it's location means that they turn over a lot of food and so it's fresh.

During my visit to New York I saw that a pokeworks was nearby and I love poke so of course I had to go, I was promptly greeted as I walked in the door by Anthony, he gave me the time I needed to read the menu before he asked if I was ready to order, as he started to make my bowl Mario came out and helped me out with checkout and making my drink (which tastes amazing) overall great experience and one of the nicest pokeworks I've visited

Great experience & amazing food at Pokeworks. The company was having a "training day" at this location before the first day of officially opening. Thankfully, I was walking by & got a free bowl 😏🥰 First off, when ordering a large portion of protein, understand, it's a LARGE portion! I was actually very pleased to see the employer continue to put more & more shrimp into the bowl...however, for some it may be too much, so know what you can handle when it comes to the meat or tofu. I appreciated the atmosphere & each employer presented a flattering & professional attitude. The food was delicious, DELICIOUS, I TELL YOU!.. Go check it out since you must fill your belly with some pokeworks 💙 I created my own bowl with white rice, cilantro, shrimp, pineapple, crab salad, cucumbers, corn, green onions, avocados, sesame seeds, & pokeworks classic sauce.

The sweet sesame chicken bowl was excellent. The Ube milk tea was delicious! Mario and Kody couldn’t have done a better job behind the counter.

Went for lunch for the first time today and I cannot say enough great things! The staff was welcoming, establishment was spotless and food was fresh. It was a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy a peaceful meal in the mist of all the commotion that is New York. The girls who work here truly take pride in what they do! Do yourself the favor and enjoy a delicious sushi burrito (and flavorful miso soup) served by the greatest staff Pokeworks has ever hired!

What truly elevated my visit to Pokeworks was the exceptional service provided by Marvis and Alex. From the moment I stepped in, their warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm created an inviting atmosphere. Marvis and Alex were not just employees; they were true ambassadors of hospitality, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my visit. I tried both the chicken and tofu poke bowls. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, while the tofu provided a nice plant-based protein option. Both bowls featured a base of flavorful sushi rice and were topped with crisp vegetables like corn, sweet onions, edamame, and for the garnishes I got seaweed, wasabi, and garlic crisps. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh and homemade sauces like their sriracha aioli and gochugang truly brought everything together. In addition to the stellar poke bowls, I have to rave about Pokeworks' strawberry lemonade. It was the ideal balance of sweet and tart. The fresh strawberry flavor shone through and made it the perfect complement to my savory bowl. Pokeworks executed on all fronts - delicious food with fresh ingredients, refreshing drinks and outstanding service. I just discovered this PW location and it’s now my favorite location. The staff is super friendly service is speedy. The general manager was behind the counter today and helped me decide between the Unami Ahi and Hawaiian Ahi bowls (Umami won). While waiting to check out I saw another customer order the mango lemonade. I was told that it’s a popular option so I ordered one. The bowl was delicious and the drink paired well with it. Everything came to $20, which is a bit outside of my lunch budget, but it was worth it, in my opinion. There are several side options that I would like to try when I return.

Had to return some things at B&H and afterwards I walked past pokey Works was looking at the menu from outside. The Hommie waved me in to tell me more about the food they served. I got to talk into my man Mario and he broke down the menu for me made me a super delicious bowl and just all around outstanding service. There are so many options to create your customized plate. Generous servings. The service team was wonderful. The prices were very fair.

Had a guy make our food and he was really nice, professional, and quick. He noted how he made the Spam Musubi and I was the best I’d ever had. I work in food service and I noted how he wiped down and cleaned everything in between each order. I think his name was Mario.

I had Pokeworks prior to the covid years and I enjoyed it. So I was really glad to try it again here in NYC whilst I’m back for a visit. The food is just as good as I remembered. I usually go for a salad base with two servings of salmon - although this time I added a side of shrimp as well. Really so good, and just a healthier kind of fast food. The service at this store (330 West 34th St) was really good!

What can I say except I am thoroughly impressed. As a fat man I thought I had “seen” it all when it comes to food and poke particularly but this place proved me wrong. Delicious food great customer service and just an all around great place. The fish is so fresh it tastes like it was swimming five minutes ago, and the portions? As a customer who has visited over 20 times, I have to say I absolutely love the white/Spanish lady with red hair! She is incredibly efficient and patient with everyone, takes food preparation seriously, and is always smiling. She makes every visit enjoyable. I highly recommend giving her a bonus or raise she’s the reason I keep coming back!

My son and i LOVE Pokēworks! The server was very polite and friendly with a positive attitude. The restaurant was clean, well lit and had good upbeat music. We dined in, and ordered 2 sushi burritos with spicy tuna, pineapple for some sweetness, avocado and garlic crisps which brought out AALLLL the flavor in the spicy tuna. We added water and a sprite as drinks. My son also went back to the counter to get soy sauce and the other worker was equally pleasant and kid friendly when talking with my son. Definitely will be going back! Thank you no to the generous workers who served us :)

went into this location for the first time as I'm already familiar with pokeworks since I've gone in boston and it was literally the best service I've ever had. anthony and mario were the ones that made my bowl and it was quick, efficient, and all done in the friendliest manner. the food looks absolutely delicious as well and im so excited to dig in but i had to give a shout-out to those two cause i know it was near their last 30 minutes of being open and they definitely wanted to have a quick easy night but still didn't make us feel like they were trying to rush us out.

I’ve had pokeworks in a few different locations but this one is somehow just a level above. Very fresh and clean, delicious poke, but what keeps me coming back time and time again is the service. The staff is great and the place has great vibes and Mario is just outstanding, so welcoming and kind, best service I’ve gotten, he actually cares about it and your experience. He’s just the best! And the poke is delicious. Highly highly recommend!

I had a Spicy Ahi poke bowl for lunch and it was really good! Both the quality and the amount were great. The place seemed neat and well-maintained. They also have limited seating inside with just 5 tables. All ingredients were visible and clearly labeled with calories information per serving.

The Hudson yards team always does a wonderful job! We’ve done large group orders from them and everything is always organized and delicious! Bowls and salads are filled to the top so you’re getting your moneys worth. Definitely one of my favorite lunch spots. The team is friendly and organized and the store itself is clean. They run a smooth operation!

I’ve been to this location twice and both times have been tasty. The price to portions ratio is fair, especially given the location. The food quality appears consistent and the staff have been incredibly kind. Definitely recommend!

The bowl was fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients—I really enjoyed it! However, I was surprised to find chili oil in it. I’m not sure why it was included, as I didn’t expect it. I’d love to know what this topping/sauce is so I can avoid it in my next order. Overall, the food was delicious, and I’ll definitely be back to try more!

We ordered bowls off the menu and a soup side for our 4yo. We could’ve modified them, but they were so good as is! Honestly it was refreshing not having a million questions to personalize it…. Just zip, zip, zip down the line, and done! Really efficient, thorough service. Some really great flavor combos too, enough that we want to check out more next time. Our only complaint—the white rice was not a high-grade sushi rice, perhaps a little too basic.

6/29/25 first time here. Saw many good reviews so we decided to try it. It's good! Seems clean. The ingredients were good and fresh. I sampled the "chili crisp oil" and it was really good, next time I'll blend that in. Not much seating inside but we got lucky and were able to sit. One could certainly walk over to the Hudson yards outside dining area and eat there. Bottle drinks and if you want tap water, they have a large plastic cup for free and there's ice too. No Fee for credit card :) We will be back.

I’m giving this just 3 stars because the fish doesn’t taste as fresh as Poke Bowl, and the sizes are a bit stingy. The mangos are very small. When you ask for extra of anything, they want to charge you extra. I don’t think a business should do that. It’s naturally accounted for because not every customer gets every topping, so it evens out. Make a person happy. For $14.95 it’s more expensive than the smallest size of Poke at Poke Bowl, and it’s not as delicious. Go to Poke Bowl, if you’re in the area.

I never came here, wanted to grab a quick bite before I went home. I got half white rice and half greens. The quality of the fish wasn't so bad, but tbe rice itself was overcooked and stuck together which made it mushy. I also felt like my greens weren't super fresh either, kinda had a dirt flavor on them. The fish was ok, and the toppings were great. I did so a pickup order, but the employees were friendly and the place is very clean. Maybe I just came at an off day, I can definitely try again!

Came in at around 6pm for two sushi burritos. Mario must have been having an off day based on the rest of these reviews, because ordering two burritos seemed to be almost the end of Mario's world. If you don't enjoy your job Mario (as we heard you say many times from the moment we ordered and continually whilst we waited, making my partner very uncomfortable and asking me if she had done something wrong as a result), then can I suggest finding a more enjoyable place to work? To his credit, he puts his customer service face back on when taking payment, and like I said based on the rest of these reviews his demeanour tonight seems to be out of the ordinary, I don't personally mind the cussing, I understand people get frustrated, but it's a bit too much when its that loud and repetitive. Food was good though, portions are huge, my partner ironically said she would probably get it as a bowl next time, which im sure would make others happier also!

At first they were helpful, then, once you start requesting more than the tiniest possible spoon they use for sides and ask for extra tofu or seaweed salad, it's like pulling teeth. And what did it for me is that i Specifically asked if their cookies were fresh, was told that they were, and the cookie i got was more stale than the closed dated one! And what's even worse is that i told Melanie that it was not fresh and she said "sorry about YOUR cookie" without even turning her back (check recording 2024-12-16 8:22pm). Terrible service, even for new york level of attitude.

Sadly, the bowl I had was super bland and underseasoned. The rice wasn’t good either. The music was loud and it took some time until the food was done. If it’s busy you probably won’t find a place to sit down, since there are only four tables. The drinks were fine, but still pretty sweet considering I picked the zero option.

Today, in the afternoon, my husband and I visited your establishment to buy our bowls. Upon entering, we noticed there was only one person in line who was already paying at the register, so the place was practically empty, which does not justify the haste or bad mood in the service. The experience started off very well. When I came in, I greeted the young man who was attending the bowl station, and he responded with great kindness and readiness to take my order. I was about to start telling him my order when his coworker, Jackie, arrived at the counter. Unfortunately, Jackie’s attitude completely ruined our visit. She asked me very rudely and curtly if I was ready to order. I indicated that I wanted the regular bowl, to which she responded in the same rude manner, demanding that I tell her what type of rice I wanted. Furthermore, as soon as I responded about the rice, she started serving it and, without giving me the opportunity to indicate which proteins I wanted, she served the ones she chose. When I mentioned the proteins I actually wanted, she answered abruptly that she had already put in "two scoops of salmon, that's already done." That is to say, she refused to change the order to my liking. Similarly, she did not ask or allow me to indicate what other toppings I wanted, whether I had any allergies, or if I wanted any dressing. She simply advanced with the process in an arbitrary manner. She maintained this same rude attitude and lack of courtesy with my husband, making the entire interaction extremely uncomfortable and annoying. Due to the rush and the imposition of ingredients we did not want, the food quality this time did not seem as good to us as on previous occasions. It is frustrating and bothersome to come to buy our food and be served by a person who reflects such a lack of kindness, respect, and customer service. We understand that there may be tough days, but evident rudeness is not acceptable in a service position.

Lettuce was brown wilted and I had to pick it all out. Afraid for the quality of the raw fish if this is the lettuce.

This is so bad. They are skimpy with the fish which isn’t unexpected but if the rice is going to be the majority of the bow it could at least not be hard and stale. The veggies are also chopped so irregularly. Overall just a terrible poke bowl.

I was very disappointed with the service Thursday afternoon on 11/6. The manager I believe her name was Nohelly was on her phone having a conversation while taking my order (very unprofessional I was highly annoyed) I proceeded to eat my lunch but I couldn’t finish it because the music was so loud I just left. Overall it was an unpleasant experience. If you’re looking for a quiet ambiance to enjoy your lunch in peace this is not the place for you.
