The lady that was working the front counter was very sweet. There was 6 of us. 2 were a 5 and 6 year old granddaughters. When they got their ice cream she had put a couple gummy bugs on top. The girls thought it was great.
Food is always fresh and out very fast. Crew is always kind . Never rude . Really good DQ. Lobby could use a deep clean though . Chairs , seats and floors deep cleaned .
Drive through was located on passenger side of car 🤨 and there is a sliding glass door instead of a window; we wasn't sure if we were supposed to get out and go through it or if they would (there wasn't any postings)... Service was quick enough and everything was as ordered (including the specialty sandwich requested)! Food tase was great for all 3 of us adults.
Stopped in and they only had 2 team members on staff. You could hear them hustling to get the orders done while taking orders. Definitely a stressful situation. But they kept a positive attitude. All while still checking on us, as we ate. They asked how the food was, and if we needed anything else. Best of all the food was well prepared. After the chaos calmed down they still checked on us. Great customer service and amazing additude to Joel and Alexis keep up the great work.
We are a family of four and came in and ordered a few meals. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and were getting pretty grumpy. The manager brought our order out to us and explained that they had made a mistake in the kitchen and given our order to someone else, they didn’t realize and then made it when they realized we were still waiting. She apologized for the mistake and refunded half our order to make up for the wait. Very polite service and making things right with customers is great to see and we appreciated it so much. 👍👍
Had not been to a Dairy Queen in almost 5 years! Went to try the double stack burgers. They were excellent! Store was short staffed, the owner was doing the cooking, the regular cook was taking orders and did great!! They were VERY busy in the drive thru and inside, but food was quick and the service was great!
The ice cream was fantastic. The young lady who made it did a great job. Ok its a lot of younger kids working and they like to have a good time at work, what would you expect its an ice cream parlor no need to be too serious just enjoy the ice cream.
Who doesn't love a drive cup scoop of sugary vanilla ice cold sweetness when there is a hint of a sun shiny breeze in the air? I don't that's who :) but seriously this is a cute lil drive up DQ that's surrounding everything so you drive up, grab your goodness, and hit the CVS on your way in! The guys/gals 💖 are always friendly and prompt! #gottaluvDQ😉
Definitely visit this store!!! Karina, the Manager, provides outstanding service - specially for those to go or pickup options. She’s the sweetest and have managed to keep my pregnancy cravings satisfied with sending me the correct order of my chocolate Oreo blizzard when I’m craving it!! Thank you Karina for being the best!!!
Mom and I went there today to get their new blizzards. I had lunch. The cheeseburger was awesome, the blizzards were great, in the employee that took our order and brought us our food was polite and very friendly. We enjoyed our visit and will be back soon.
We went on a Friday night. They were a little busy but not bad. We ordered 5 blizzards. It was an all male crew and they did awesome. They were quick and friendly. My youngest ordered a chocolate dipped cone. We went to sit outside and she was having a hard time eating it before it was melting. I came back inside to get a cup and spoon. The manager joked and said "for the cone?" I said "yep!" And we had a good laugh. They were awesome, quick and friendly. Store was clean!
My daughter and I couldn't decide if we wanted Twisty Treat or Campbell's Dairyland. We ended up at Dairy Queen and I am so glad we did. Right from the start, placing our order at the speaker, the young man on the other end, put a smile on both of our faces. He said his name was Zayden. He was an absolute delight and I was impressed by his product knowledge. It's because of this young man that we will be returing to this location. Thank you Zayden! I have a feeling you are going to do great things in life. Don’t let anyone stop you. Be yourself and you will do just fine.
Drive Thru quick desserts for the family and had great service....
We walked in the place was clean and the employees Samatha and Logan were incredible
me and my mom went tonight and zaden took our order in the drive thru! he’s really keeping the place lively! he was cracking jokes and that really made our night so we loved his personality and he was knowledgeable about the product he gave us great recommendations! this location is very lucky to have him on their team!
I've been coming to this DQ since I was born. Always good. It has the nostalgic feel.
My friend and I stopped here today for a Mint Oreo Blizzard and I have to say it's just Sinful and very delicious and the staff was very nice we were very pleased with the appearance of the store it was clean I will definitely be returning and I will for sure be spreading the word thanks again...
Madison was awesome friendly and polite. She took time and care in mine and my kids order. Great job we will be back. Thank you Madison 😊
Stopped by our usal DQ. It's been a while. But they got a whole new crew. It has been scary at times, so we haven't been at this location. We went from the old crew knowing us, all good. To them gone and people messing up our orders. So thats why we haven't been here as often. This new crew is really good. Better then, good, amazing. Chris, the gentleman taking our order was very respectful, and on point with his customer service. Checking on us and getting everything right. We will start coming again more often. Thanks to Chris and the new crew. Keep up the good work guys.
I just had to change my old review that was very harsh, but the place needed to be cleaned up. To my surprise the whole place changed from interior decor and appearance to cleanliness. Good job managers and staff. I love me some Dairy Queen and now I have this one to go to.
DQ's in North FL are cheaper and friendlier. Long wait time for food. And narrow drive tru. Got 4 piece chicken basket but my 4th one was half of 1 so it was more like a 3.5 piece chicken basket. Sprite tasted like the cup itself, cardboard.
The staff was very friendly and efficient. They were super busy but kept up really well. Love that they renovated the restrooms, big improvement from my last visit. The door no longer hits the toilet, lol. Upkeep on the seating area wasn't so great. But the icecream was good.
Food here was awesome, but there was a bit of a wait to be served and most tables weren't clean. Would come back and give it another chance since the food was served piping hot and the blizzards were super tasty and refreshing.
Always enjoyed a soft serve from DQ. The staff was super busy on Free Cone Day, but made sure to hustle through a very busy evening for them with a smile.
The Beacon Ranch Stackburger was good and warm. Their shakes are good too. The space inside is also fine to dine-in. The only reason for 4 stars is my take-out order was delayed and it seemed they had forgotten about it until I reminded them. One good experience was it was raining and I had to keep waiting inside when one of the staff offered to walk me to my car with an umbrella. That was really nice on his part!
We tried our first DQ in FL and we enjoyed the food and service. Food was smaller than we remember from TX but that was a long time ago.
Chicken strip with country gravy is always a hit. They lose a star for messing up my order. I didn't go back because it was mine and not the kids.
Took us about 15 minutes after we ordered to receive our food and we were the only people in there... Started going here when I was a kid back in the '70s it definitely isn't run like it used to be... Parking lot was empty when we pulled up that tells you a lot..
I tried their blizzards for the first time and it was great, just took forever to get to since the guy on the mic was talkative with the customers ( dont get me wrong, i understand great customer service. I have worked in food service for 11 yrs so im not kicking it as bad. But it did take long to wait) he was easily distracted and didnt get 1 of our 3 orders but we let it go. While waiting he was on his phone texting and he didnt reread our order so we would have known beforehand if he had gotten all three.
This place needs remodeled to fit the needs of servicing DQ customers. A residential sliding glass door should not be acceptable. They did not have the “new blizzards” the parent franchise emailed. On a positive note they have a nice outdoor seating area. The parking lot has ample space. Their staff is very friendly.
There is inconsistency on the items and how they are made. Sometimes there is a bunch of teens goofing off and not paying attention to the customers. Shakes are made wrong, no whip cream as ordered, vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate or make just a sticky dripping cup being passed out the window. However, there are times you have very attentive employees that are spot on with accuracy, so you never know what to expect.
My family loves this place. Maybe it's the weird drive-thru that delivers your items on the right-side of your vehicle. I think it's because their Blizzard's are the best. Filled with all the brownies or Heath bar pieces or M&Ms. Or maybe you just want a simple cone with a dip. You can't go wrong with Dairy Queen. But go early because the drive-thru is always at least 6 cars deep.
I went in around 830 pm to get 4 sundaes. Although I was the only person at the counter and someone acknowledged me but didn't take my order for at least 5 minutes. There seemed to be some arguing between the manager with one of the employees. It was definitely not crowded or busy to where they should have had a delay in service.
We had to ask the girl who was cleaning if we could order. My ice cream had an almost spoiled taste but my grandson said his was really good. We've been here a few times and this was the worst - it's usually decent.
They never put the fudge in the ice-cream cupcakes. Its always just chocolate icecream, the crumb and then a layer of vanilla. They never have them right, this is the only location that doesnt put the fudge layer! Why
No mask needed Service dog 🐕🦺friendly Wheelchair accessible ♿ One of the strangest dairy queens I have ever been to. We've done both the drive-through as well as eating in side the restaurant. So let me explain to you why this place is so Bazaar. 1st off the drive-through is on the wrong side of the building. You order your food Is in the opposite direction of a regular drive-through. The passenger is the one who is handed the food from the little window that they serve serve you from. Inside if you have to use the ladies room you We'll find a aeroplane size bathroom that only fits one. There is barely enough Room to do your business in here. The men have it even worse. Is picture this a small aeroplane sized bathroom with one toilet right across from the toilet is your urinal. I was informed that you could quite literally pee from the toilet seat into the urinal across from you. To me that sounds awfully gross. The bathrooms were not in the best of conditions. You have to step down into Both of the bathrooms as well. That means you have to take a step up to get out of the bathrooms. I was informed by a friend that this Dairy Queen has been opened for a very long time. So as probably once a house that was converted in the most terrible way possible. We all ordered Ice cream blizzards today. I tried the king version of the strawberry cheesecake blizzard. The difference is the strawberries aren't as chopped up in this one and Crumpled up Graham crackers on the top and bottom. You can't go wrong with ice cream guys. My daughter enjoyed the Snickerdoodle animal cracker Blizzard. My boy is enjoyed a chocolate blizzard with fudge & brownies. We all tried the Wonder Woman once but I thought there was way too much chocolate fudge chunks in it. Sorry I can't tell you more about their menu we only really ordered blizzards from here.
Used to be a great place to go with the family and get food I went to this location the other day and first thing when I walk in the music is blasting loud like I’m in a bar can’t here any one. I order my food cashier was very nice. I watched the guy in the back making the food and I’m literally watching him pick up everything pickles buns my hot dog etc with his bare hands and I don’t even know if he washed them no mask no hair net just very unsanitary I get it’s fair queen and not some fancy place but at least put gloves on
The kids tried to provide a service. I enjoyed the fries and dessert but that 🍔 was a hot mess. That white mayo or sauce was over everything it was upsetting to look at much less stomach it, to much I ordered 2🤢. My baby chose the m&m desert she did not like it it got wasted I did not like it eitherThe place needs some dusting and a good scrub down.
A little disappointed in this DQ location. Staff were friendly is about the only good thing I can say. Otherwise they were out of half the desert ingredients making the trip a little disheartening. Had to forgo what I wanted for another and even then they got it wrong when making my blizzards. One was missing one of two candies I specified while the other had the candy only mixed in the top 1/3 of the large blizzard while the other 2/3 was just soft serve. Hate saying it but will not stop at this location again. Plenty of other DQs to stop at that I have had better experiences with.
Kids who work here are great, very nice and hardworking. But the food isn’t good and didn’t quite get what we ordered and it took quite a bit of time. Just not the most organized Dairy Queen.
Tastes good but the experience is too inconsistent to get a good rating. I went several times and for the price im disappointed that a blizzard can vary in size so much so i think its a training/moral issue. Either way its a problem that drive me back to steak n shake where i came from
Food was as expected. However, the service was horrible they would not talk to you over the intercom to order. We asked what the difference between a reg and malt milkshake was, and the response was, "I don't know, old people s**t. Old people like it. I've never had it." Pulling up to get the food, the cashier pushed an employee in front of my car. Luckily, I didn't hit them. They then didn't hand me my card back at first. I had to request it, but they would not speak to me. I will not be going back to this DQ.
Service: We love the Riverview location, they are always so nice to us. We visited this brandon location, the person taking our order was the store's manager (Joseph Velez) and he was unprofessional, rude and didn't care whether you liked it or not.. Informed him we will put a review down and will be contacting the franchise headquarters and he was like "yeah go ahead". No restaurant employee would ever be this rude to Customers and keep representing a name brand like dairy queen Atmosphere: small place with literally one cashier and one register.
this is the worst dairy queen i’ve ever been to. i worked here for a bit and couldn’t stand it. night shifts are a mess and the managers have screaming fights, loudly curse, and throw things with a lobby full of customers. the big bosses don’t have any patience for trainees and fire them for small mistakes that could’ve been easily fixed (like distracted cleaning? working hard cleaning during slow hours with no customers???), way too nitpicky for me. food is not bad tho. just watch out for that roach and lack of sanitation problem. the back of the establishment is absolutely filthy too, i dusted a big dead roach from the storage room with all the food.
Every time we come here there is an issue. Either our order is wrong, the customer service is lacking or so slow it's ridiculous, or the place is filthy. Out most recent (and final) visit was probably the worst yet. It took over 20 minutes to get a chocolate cone - which was ice cream deficient (seriously, think baby cone), a banana split blizzard that was whipped vanilla ice cream with a piece or two of pineapple, ONE strawberry and no chocolate but for the first time ever had whipped cream on top - which was unusual but I think it was done to hide the fact that there were literally no ingredient for a banana split in that cup. The final blizzard was a Heath blizzard and it was actually made correctly. We very rarely come to this Dairy Queen because of the issues we've had in the past and believe me, this will be the last time we come to this one. The service is lousy. Our orders are always wrong and it's just not worth the aggravation. Go to Baskin-Robbins and save yourself the headache or find another DQ.
Should’ve trusted the reviews more about the cleanliness and hygiene of this place. Came here last night for a visit and ordered a blizzard and some hot food items, on the good note it didn’t take long for our orders to be made and brought out and service was decent which was appreciated. HOWEVER, I did notice upon leaving there was this rancid smell of sewage from the restaurant outside and I suddenly early the next morning woke up with the worst bowel movements/diarrhea ever and seriously think something with their food or a strain of bad bacteria got in my system because it was like something else. I was so scared I caught something bad in my GI tract and I know it was due to or directly linked to the stuff at Dairy Queen. I haven’t been at this location or DQ in general for years, but all I’m gonna say is considering especially the other things people have found and how my body reacted to it so harshly, I’m not sure I can trust it. It was definitely a sign something went wrong immediately and I wash and sanitize my hands a lot but not sure under what conditions the food was prepared and if it was in code health wise or sanitary.
Terrible food. The young lady behind the counter isn't very bright, we had to explain our order 3x, and came to us wrong.
Gave location one more try. Everything inside needs scrubbing. Obviously only concerned about drive thru customer. Won't be returning.
Went in for 2 blizzards, one was made correctly, one was made like a milkshake. They are supposed to serve it to you upside down. This was not done on the milkshake one. I googled Dairy Queen blizzards, and it is their policy to serve it to you upside-down or the next one is free. I called and spoke to the manager Tatiana. She did not know what to do, then finally she said come back in and we will make you a new one. I went back 3 days later, asked if Tatiana was there, she was, and she advised me that per the owner, not to give me a new blizzard, as she needed the other one back. Never to go back there again!!
The place is so small even the bathroom. Drive through sucks. Today I went and I order a triple chocolate brownie blizzard and I guess the workers got lazy bc the bottom half is vanilla Ice cream and the top half is what I order. Don’t get me wrong I like Dairy Queen but this one really sucks. They should get non lazy workers who don’t mess up your order and than try covering it. Just get new workers... PERIOD‼️
If you like melted ice cream this is the place to go. I got to this location, waited 20 mins in line….finally ordered and there was a car in front of me at the window with a large order. The gal came out and took my money, handed me one of my blizzards, the car is still in front of me, finally about 3 mins later I get the other blizzard. The car is STILL in front of me and I see the blizzards melting, FAST. 5 MINUTES go by, then the car in front of me gets their order and leaves, my small blizzard is melted completely. The staff says they’re sorry they can’t do anything about it because their busy. I call bluff on that. Customer service you make a solution, such as parking the customer with larger orders in a spot to keep the line flowing, OR (insert common sense here) keep ICE CREAM you just made in a freezer, until the first cars order is coming out, then you grab the second order. To keep it as fresh as possible. Bad bad Dairy Queen. Guess you just lost my business.
Came ordered $40 worth of ice cream they said they couldnt take my $100 bill because the manager just took the money out the safe . I had to leave go to another store to get change come back and they had the nerve to give me the melted ice cream they made before i had to go get change
My family of 8 went in two cars. My son and I ordered on the app and the other 6 ordered at the counter. 15 minutes after my family got their food, the manager approached me and told me they were out of the ingredients for my son's order. 10 minutes after they finally issued my refund. I only got excuses. That's it. Ridiculous.
This had to be the worst experience I have ever had with going through a drive through the unprofessionalsiam was on full display as we came to the speaker we placed our orders only to have the attendant bring the blizzard and milk shakes to my car with the wrong cups which was spilling over in to my car win we got to the window we was told to pull around to the parking lot so we can wait, before I could pull into the parking lot an attendant brought the order to the car but did not bring the full order in which I had to come back and request the full order in which they said they forgot and proceeded in preparing it. The burger was the worst burger we had eaten at a fast food restaurant as it seemed as if it was placed in a microwave and it had ingredients, which the original order was to have it lifted off. I would suggest staying away from this location as it seems to be run by a bunch of kids who just want to be off their shifts.
Worst customer service I have ever received. I'm a senior that carries oxygen and am extremely nice to everyone even if they don't deserve it. I ran down the street to grab a bite. I stopped here. I waited in a long line to order. When I got to the window they first charged me for the wrong food. I eventually steered them back to my order which I paid for it was $22 for a 6 piece chicken strip basket and cheeseburger and fries and a mountain dew an some type of soda I don't exactly remember. So I sat there longer and longer and longer waited for my food. They gave us some ice cream and a slushie. Come to find out if they charges for a slushie we didn't ask for it gave us a free ice cream that was half melted when we received it. We gave it back to them and I asked how long our food be they said 25 minutes after I'd already waited 15 minutes to order food. Then they started being extremely rude because I said I can't wait 25 minutes I'm on oxygen I don't have it with me and I need to get back home so I can get back on my oxygen. So they were extremely rude did not want to give my money back even though I finally had to be rude and demanded. So they were just terrible and then they demanded back the slushy and the ice cream which we gladly gave back because the stuff she was watered down the ice cream my son's girlfriend was eating she said it was sour and it was half melted all over her and the car anyway. So I told him they didn't know anything about customer service because that's not how you treat a customer. Then I had to pull up to the beginning of the parking lot in park for another 5 minutes waiting for them to bring me out my money that I had just paid them a requested in return. I will never go there again not ever in my life and I would advise everyone else against it also. I was wondering why with exception of that night I've never seen a long line of cars there now I know!!!
What a strange experience...we walk in and after a few minute wait (while we listen to what seems like a wrestling match going on in the back) we're "greeted" by one of the employees. All he said was "we're doing shift change so we don't have a drawer" and walked back to whatever was happening in the back. My family and I got back into the car and continued our search for ice cream. Our quest ended down the road at a better establishment.
If I could leave no stars I would. I stopped here after work to grab FAST food before going home to my 4 month old baby. I couldn’t get a response through the drive thru, when I went to the window the kid had no idea what was going on and told me what I was ordering wasn’t on the menu so I said I’d go inside. I went inside to an even bigger disaster. I waited 25 minutes for a single cheeseburger and a small mocha moolate. The one guy helping (who I thought was the manager bc he was the only one working) had only been there 4 days. No one knew how to make a mocha moolate, there was no manager around and none of the employees were working together or even speaking to each other. I’m appalled at how terribly this place is run and how you just throw your employees to the wolves. Pathetic.
This location does NOT honor veterans on Veteran's day! AVOID!
I would leave less than a star if I could. Went inside because the drive through was taking to long. The inside smelt horrible the service was horrible. Was not given a receipt. The store was also extremely dirty there were cups all over the floor and the floor didnt look like it had been mopped in days. There were 4 people working the drive thru and no on making things for front counter. I will not be going back that place was disgusting!
Terrible service, not clean, employee was eating and then taking my order then making ice cream, took 16 minutes then I asked for a refund and walked out. They were annoyed and frustrated that I asked them for a refund. Smells like BO and sewer. Floors were disgusting. Worst DQ experience I’ve had.
I went thru drive thru. I ordered a hot fudge sundae. When I drove up to window employee ( a young teenage girl) I handed her my card etc. She brought it out I had asked for a top because it was 95 outside. I then asked for a bad. She looked at me and it was like really. Came back handed me my card and the bag. Nothing. I had to say Thank You. Very, very poor attitude. I worked customer service a long time. This was bad. If you don't like the job don't work there. Definitely turned me off. Very Poor customer service.
Normally stop here for a chocolate cone and pup cups, however needed a birthday cake so we went in and ordered an all chocolate 8” ice cream cake. This is special order because we wanted all chocolate, I understand that. However the gentleman that seemed like the manager/supervisor checked out back and said he had a chocolate base and assured us he could have it ready the next day around 12:30. We told him what we would like written on the cake and he wrote that down on an order form and took our name and money. We left feeling confident that everything would be great, especially considering he told us I’m going to go back and do it up right now. When I got there the next day to pick it up, it not only wasn’t ready, none of the stoned kids working had any clue about it. The stoned girl that was working asked in their group chat if anyone made the cake, well at least she tried, I had to spell my mothers nickname (MAWDY) for the top of the cake 10 times (no exaggeration). They ended up throwing one together and said sorry man I know it’s not what you asked for, but here you go. No offer of anything to make it right or discount or even a free pup cup! Thanks allot! 🙄 Guess I’ll have to find a new place for chocolate cones and pup cups! 😡
The staffing was awful. We placed an order in the drive through and only got the slushy but no coke. When we finally got the coke there was NO ICE. How do you drink a coke with no ice???? We finally got our food more than 25 minutes later after we had to ask. The girl that had originally taken the order was no where in sight. Definitely not going to be coming back
If you like a ratchet atmosphere, long waits, an incompetent staff and roaches crawling on the walls while you eat after you finally get your food, this is the place for you! Ridiculous. Waited ten minutes just to have someone take our order, 20 minutes after that for two 3 piece meals. Staff was clueless and had to be reminded three times what our ice cream treat was. Not coming back.
Not sure how this location is still open. Ordered almost 30 bucks worth of food and ice cream. When I received my food, the fires were soft and limp. When I asked if I could get fresh fries, I was told “those are fresh.” At that point I threw the food away, we ste the rest and left. Obviously the owner of this franchise doesn’t care about it. Not sure how they are still opened. We always go to Campbell Diary Land right down the street. That’s the last time I’ll stray away from that place again. They have THE BEST ice cream and their food is always fresh.
90% of the reason I want Dairy Queen are the Blizards. That makes it so much worse when theyre the only things missing from all my delivery orders. I have had multiple orders from Uber Eats over multiple weeks show up missing the Blizzards. Blizzards aren't on the bag receipts so they always forget them. Please find a way to fix this.
HEALTH SAFETY ALERT: Do not go here. The health department should come and investigate this location. I was surprised given the smell of sewage and the pure dirtiness of the restaurant paired with the unsanitary nature of some of the workers when stepping in for an ice cream. The flys/moths on the windows were the highlight of my evening. I am surprised the owner has not rectified this despite all these comments on here. It needs oversight for sure. Don’t go here. I say again, do not go here.
Absolutely dreadful. Been here at least 5 times and every time they do not understand or get my order correct. Staff is rude, excessively dirty inside, always takes at least 30 minutes to get your order which is insanity and my then everything is melted. Never again. Barely can understand staff, they get every single ice cream wrong every time. Not going back. Zero stars!!! Emailing the dept of health on this one gross.
This Dairy Queen stuff sucks. They have me an ice cream sundae at the drive thru without spoon and let me wait for 5mins and ice cream melted before my daughter eat. I asked them to replace to new ice cream and they gave me super small amount like half of the small size. It take so long to bring food and they didn’t give me straw until I asked them .
It is very sad when good places start going down the drain. It should not take 40 minutes to make 3 desserts no matter how busy. Was completely ignored while at the counter and when someone finally decided to acknowledge us they had not even started our order. It says a lot about management and the owners of the business. It just amazes me how so many franchise owners just don’t care.
Waited for 10 mins to get my order taken with only one other car in line. Food took another 30 mins to get to me while I waited at the window. They forgot my drink and said I didn’t order one until I showed them my receipt in which the lady who I was speaking with rolled her eyes and went to get me one. The food was cold and taste freezer burnt so I barely ate anything. Worst dining experience of my life.
The worst....waited 45 minutes for 2 peanut buster parfait's with whipped cream and nuts. Paid close $20.00 They put lids on them. Brought to car ....had to pull of lid with car door opened due to melting of ice cream. Went everywhere. Wife was so pissed off she brought them back inside. Set on counter....they we're dripping all over including wife. 2 customers that we're behind me at time of purchase saw wife and said loud enough for everyone to hear..." She's pissed" some young girl comes over after I said excuse me 3x and actually asked what I wanted....staring at the mess on counter and my hands. Said I would like to speak to mgr. Mgr??? Came over told her I wanted my money back. husband paid with card she tried to hand me cash...then realized my hands were loaded with melted whipped cream and ice cream. Proceed to hand me a wet napkin. I put money in napkin went to your filthy restroom to wash my hands Disgusting,in all areas. How you can manage to stay open. Apparently health inspector hasn't be around!! We use to live in that area years ago....saw your sign and decided to bring back some good ole memories. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
?????? Went inside in hopes it would be quick because the drive through was too wild of a design for a large truck. LOL. Currently at 20 minutes & counting of waiting for 2 MINI BLIZZARDS. Crazy
I don't know what the horrible smell was, but it was nauseating. Child behind the counter couldn't be bothered to do their job properly. Bought an ice cream cake, a small dipped cone and a medium blizzard. Waited 10 minutes for another employee to ask if I was waiting for something, advised yes and told him what, "child" said something under their breath and started to make my order. Then hands me a LARGE dipped cone that was dripping chocolate all over the cone and falling over sideways, then tells me "napkins are over there". After that, they give me a mini blizzard instead of a medium, I tell them it was a medium, they disappear and come back with a medium cup not quite full. When I get outside and taste it, it isn't even the flavor I ordered. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. This was a terrible experience, that I prefer not to repeat.
After our last experience, we will never step foot back in there even to use the restroom. Ice-cream was soft and runny. Can smell weed on the workers when they come in to work. It's beyond a mess in there. Hate to see a place with a historical background in Brandon just going to waste... No I will not contact corporate or the owner. If you can walk In there and not know something is wrong, we don't need to speak... Go to Andy's Custard....100% better
The employees were very friendly and helpful. The issue was a birthday cake I preordered. Went to pick it up a few days later and was told someone else picked it up, maybe my husband 🙄. Anyway, I said I’d come back in a few hours for them to make a new one and the decorating was awful. Looked like a 3year old wrote Happy Birthday. Horrible job on the decorating but very friendly staff.
Disgusting establishment. At the speaker they say they see the order and to pull up then the 12 year old at the window says he can't find the order. Then he calls someone he's claiming is the owner. This guys sounds drunk and says he can't refund my money then next he says the transaction is pending. $20 order and " I need to call my bank for a refund and he's calling the police to escort us off the property 😂" don't waste your time or money with this trailer park establishment ! Absolutely atrocious!
Been going here since I moved into the area and have never had a problem. Tonight was something else the girl who was working the drive thru kept speaking over me and couldn’t get my order right. Once we get up to the window we waited on 1 blizzard. It was completely wrong once we got it and we didn’t want to deal with it anymore. I’ve tried to call 3 times now to get a refund and explain to a manager my experience but have gotten no answer and gone to voicemail. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
I recommend you check your ice cream before you drive off when I went there to get food from there you must check first and in Brandon I ate there before and it was the first time I seen a roach in my ice cream and my Sundae and now from that point on I do not eat at that DQ anymore that's disgusting and nasty and the manager act like it was nothing they didn't change the Sundae out or do anything and it was in the strawberry sundae I also have pictures to prove my point
They overcharged me. Every item I ordered was at least a dollar more than what they had listed on their drive thru menu. So, they either overcharged me or they need to update their menu. They made me wait forever for a 4 piece chicken basket. When I finally got it, there were only 3 pieces of chicken, 5 fries, no bread or gravy, and honey mustard instead of buffalo. The guy went back and brought one piece of chicken and the bread in a fry container but still no gravy. I had to go back in to get the gravy. How do you mess up an order so bad?? I won’t be back.
i worked at multiple DQs that were much busier than this location for 7 years throughout college and high school, and my boss would have NEVER allowed the service that this DQ offers. drive through time is so high. they give you your blizzards and make you wait 30 mins for your food so now you come home with melted ice cream. tonight, the staff completely ignored all guests inside and only focused on the drive through and mobile orders. then i complained and we got our (poorly mixed) blizzards in 2 minutes. this is such a small DQ and there’s no reason for it. one of the girls went on break and ate in the dining area while the dining area had 4 people waiting on mobile orders and maybe 6 of us waiting on food. we waited probably 20 minutes or more for 2 blizzards. i just about wanted to go back there and make it myself. the kids working don’t even know what goes in the blizzards. half the time i get something completely different from what i ordered but today was the last straw. the employees clearly aren’t trained well at all (they were checking ingredients frequently) and they have no sense of urgency. this DQ needs help desperately.
Horrible horrible service the kid at the drive-through instead of saying hello how may I help you he just stares at you and S what do you want get the order completely wrong for forget my Coke gives me an order that I didn’t even order and still has a attitude. Managers really need to train their employees a little bit better on customer service. Three times have eight at this establishment and three times the charm will not return I love Dairy Queen I’m a true Texan We’re Dairy Queen was established
Keturah was rude, I asked for peanuts for my sundae and when she handed me the cup of peanuts she shoved it to in my hands and it spilled inside my car and she just walk away being carless, didn’t even turn the cup upside down as they should, I don’t recommend this location
I cannot believe I am writing this. I went to get their $8 meal deal, which there’s actually a sign by the drive thru that says $7 meal deal but thats not the point. I then ask if I can have an extra honey mustard and they said it would be .33 cents. Okay. At this point it had taken an unusual amount of time to get me my food, which she apologize and I appreciate it but I started looking for $.33 and I came up with $.31 and I looked at her and I said all I have is.31 and she went to hand me back my change and ended up dropping it in my car, because the drive thru window is on the passenger side, but I can’t believe Dairy Queen wouldn’t cover two pennies. Like there’s not two pennies somewhere in that building where she could’ve been like it’s fine we got it or is that how bad you guys are struggling in this economy? It’s the first time Ive asked for an extra honey mustard and now it’s the last time I go to this Dairy Queen.
Why do we allow certain places to still exist? This Dairy Queen is always ran by teens. Nothing against teens, but it’s the combination of teens working at a place where there seem to be no rules. Service is good, but the product is always so bad. There is no pride taken in what they are making. You pull up and order and when you get your food it’s always a slop bowl of ingredients. Tonight was a banana split and it was what I needed to realize never come back here in my life again. It was a complete mess. Please people let’s join forces and stop contributing to this crap. If you’re the owner and you see this. Hire someone who gives a darn. Maybe just maybe you will have a place that has more than 1 car in your parking lot.
To all my veteran brothers and sisters dont waste your time going to this location in brandon for veterans day as they are no longer participating in veterans day. The past few years they have given a medium blizzard to veterans but they have stopped that this year.
Chili dogs had hard dark scrapings in the chili from not being fresh and not even warm. Had to ask for the ice cream and milk shakes in our order after staff only waiting on one person inside and one through the drive thru.Very unprofessional behavior from employees. We were going twice a week for after school treats but won’t be returning.
I’ve lived in 4 states, traveled all over the US and this DQ is by far the worst I’ve ever been to. I ordered a small frozen coke and a medium soft serve cone. Their version of the frozen coke looked like a sold block of ice that came from the bottom of an old freezer that hadn’t been cleaned in ions. For this they wanted $4.69. I gave it back and asked about the ice cream. I got a blank stare, but eventually got a Small cone. I ordered a Medium. Since I was only charged for the elixir of death they gave me a small cone which is priced at $4.16. Heaven forbid they should try to make a customer happy. Mind you, I haven’t been irate or rude. I should be at this point, considering the poor customer service and product quality. In fact, the associates working at the drive thru were rude to me. I guess I was making them actually have to think and not just be drones shoveling out crap to customers. Anyway, obviously I don’t recommend this DQ.
Experience was poor. The food was barely warm, fries were not even warm, the dipping gravy was cool. The only good was the fountain soda. I ordered a hot fudge Sundae and got chocolate syrup. Yuck! Told server she never offered to return food make it right. Asked for manager was told there was no manager on duty. The young people working were not skilled with any customer service. Next morning called to talk to a manager. No apology, argued with me about the food being hot. No offer of coupon, no customer service from this restaurant. Beware if you looking for good experience do not go to this location.
If you’re into super slow service, Dirty Kitchen lazy staff and melted ice cream then this is the place for you! I pulled up at 9:30pm thinking I would get a quick milkshake on a Sunday night and saw that the drive-through Line was moving at a snails pace so we decided to park and go inside. While I was ordering a mother and her family was growing impatient waiting for their small blizzards! I should have took that as a sign to leave but since it was late and I didn’t feel like driving anywhere else so I regretfully decided to stay! I ordered 1 small chocolate milkshake 1 small Oreo blizzard and 1 small caramel Sunday not too complicated. after patiently waiting 20 minutes for my order I ask the staff how much longer and when I gave them my Recipt then they tell me that they are out of Oreo so if I didn’t mention anything I would probably have been there for an hour before they even noticed! I gave them my Recipt and they finally start slowly working on my order. It was obvious that everyone working during this shift clearly didn’t give a crap about the quality or the product and had zero urgency in fulfilling everyone’s orders in a respectable timeframe. The kitchen was dirty! No one was wearing gloves and it was clearly a huge waste of time and money! Got back to the car at 10:20 and My entire order was sloppy and melted. It is unfortunate because I have had much better experiences at other DQ’s but this location without a doubt missed the mark by a long shot! Management really needs to get better quality workers because this experience was terrible. I won’t be back and I caution anyone who decides to give this place a try! Maybe the staff on other days might provide a better quality experience but I won’t be back to find out.
My blizzards were milk shakes they couldn't even turn the 3 blizzards up side down 👇 and they were made 3 times supposedly but yet still looking the same this was my first time trying a Blizzard 🥶 and it never happened 😔 I called and was hung up on 6 times before I got to speak to someone it didn't go anywhere.
