Went at maybe 8pm on a Thursday. Not too busy. Staff was friendly. Food was made promptly and fresh. No complaints. Seemed like the staff worked well together and had an efficient assembly line going.

Online ordering is great, easy to place an order and friendly staff when I arrive to pick it up.

Same people been working here forever, food is always dank. I have to get for allergy and theyve never messed it up after years of ordering randomly once a month.

Five Guys is known for the best burgers and fries in town, and this place is no exception. Always clean, fast and friendly service, and the best burgers around. 10/10 will come again.

The atmosphere in this location is very nice and graciously complements the food. I'm not a big fan of fast food but on the occasion the burgers can't be beat. The portions are enormous though.

Two thumbs up for Five Guys in Niskayuna!!! They made a mistake and actually admitted it, apologized and give me a gift card. I have been to a lot of places where I have been lied to or the service was awful. Most places will not acknowledge a mistake much less compensate you for your trouble. I have a lot of respect for those who try a make things right.

I like their food. They have good food. Like McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's, they have burgers and fries. I came here with my friends on Saturday (January 25, 2022) to the Five Guys at Mohawk Commons.

Always impressed with how friendly the staff is at this location and how quickly they move through long lines at busier hours. The fries are the best and the food is consistently tasty.

I don't normally go 10 minutes before closing, to be fair to the staff, but this time I had no choice. We we're super hungry and our previous appointment had run super late. Luckily they were happy to serve me, I ordered my normal and they were eager to serve me. Thanks for the marvelous service, it is greatly appreciated, especially so close to closing time. 😀

I'm giving 5 stars because I have visited this location on several occasions and every time I have had a great experience. Never once have they messed my order up. All the employees are always pleasant and customer friendly as we as professional. The line always moves just as fast as if I was going through as fast food drive thru, but the food is much better. Great place to get a great burger.

The food is always awesome as it is fresh. The customer service is good also. On top of the fact that you can get a great portion size for your money you have to spend to get there food. All in all in my opinion worth the stop for sure if your in the mood for a tasty burger and fries.

I have always received great food here!! My boyfriend and his family had never tried it before this year and now I've got them hooked! Burgers are made exactly right and are consistently delicious. Toppings are fresh, meat is perfectly cooked and the bacon is crispy. Fries are made with peanut oil which give them a unique flavor. Generous portions on the fries, too... they fill your cup, put it in the bag, then heap another scoopful on top. They also make great milkshakes... they take a little while but are well worth it. You can also mix and match shake flavors which is cool (highly recommend a Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana shake). Takes a little longer than fast food but is cheaper and tastes better than most restaurant burgers!

I'm vegan but also gluten free, so their french fries are the only menu item I'm interested in. I was assured there is a fry basket dedicated solely to potatoes. They were very kind and accommodating when I explained my gluten sensitivity. Each staff member washed hands and wore new gloves, made sure the potatoes did not touch any other surface or placed in the section where the spicing is located. There were so many fries in my bag! I ate nearly half the bag and took the rest home to place in aluminum foil and my refrigerator. Happily I have so far not had a bad reaction.

Great service. Didn't have five cents in my pocket for my order. The cashier took it out the tip jar, which was so nice. I went to the car and replace it with some change. So nice. Milkshakes are superb. Love the food.

The service was outstanding. The manager on duty was extremely pleasant and you could tell he both gave and received respect from the entire staff. And of course the burgers and fries were delicious.

Always a good time at five guys. My Husband and I went for our date night, kinda cheesy sounding but always get, great friendly service and our order is correct and food is delicious. Staff is great and has a good vibe. Makes the visit that much more enjoyable.

Ever since Fuve Guys first came to Mohawk Commons they have been serving up amazing burgers. Without question they still are to the day. Add great customer service and you have great success.

About 10 yrs ago I went to the Five Guys in d/town Tampa FL. It was hands down THE best burger & fries joint around. Since then I've been to at least 20 different Five Guys all over the Eastern part of the country. This one did NOT disappoint!! If you want a REAL burger, this is THE place to go. There's not a place anywhere around that even comes close! And the fries? Bang up fantastic! A Large order must be at least 3 potatoes worth. The ONLY thing that was a disappointment was the peanuts weren't out to snack on while waiting. Undoubtedly because of this whole covid sham! I mean, seriously, there are currently less than 20 ACTIVE cases in the entire county, 20 . . . . in a county of 145K people. It's a complete farce

They were always very nice. The service is excellent and the food is clean and tidy and the options are much better than some fast food restaurants that are in the area. The food has another taste and taste because they use unfrozen things and do it every day and they are clean and fresh and not frozen. They have an excellent taste. Five guys have always been the best choice. And I don’t forget about the manager : Ryan Hastings he always been good with customer. Appreciate it.

My first time there. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding and the workers were wonderful. The smell of fresh burgers on a grill right in front of you is rare where I live. Fresh potato fries!! Yes, it was great.

Went to five guys and placed our order. Had to wait quite a while for food to be ready. The manager did the right things and gave the few people who were waiting over 20 mins gift cards. I get it, things happen, thanks for making it right 👍

There's not enough words to describe how great Five Guys is! From their burgers to their fries, it's all good. We ordered the Cajun Fries and they had so much flavor to them! Made my taste buds dance. Their burgers are fresh and top notch. If you are looking for some great and delicious fast food without the "fast food" in it, this is the place to go. Five Guys gets five stars across the board, hands down. Highly recommended!!

great Place the Food was Phenominal & I know it is 100% Beef Burger joints which by all means I have No issues with their Grill Cheese was the best BTW, only if it came with Tomato Soup anyways I'm greatful. What I really wanted was Turkey Burgers but they don't have that besides that the Food was nice the Servers were the best it's a nice Envirement

The only thing I would suggest improving on is someone to wipe down the tables as soon as someone gets up just because I was there at a really busy time and there was not a lot of space to sit unless you wanted to sit in someone elses leftover meal. Other than that it was a great consistent product, along with the service, the guys incharge over there have been there for years and really know how to run the place, if something is not right for the customer they will fix it no questions asked. This location is really special.

My mom really likes their mocha milkshakes, made by mixing 1.5 pumps each of chocolate & coffee syrups (in case you needed the formula)! They're almost $5.00 w/tax, & only around 12 oz. Seems high...

This is a good five guys they made the food quick and my daughter enjoyed her meal. The outdoor seating is nice too. However bathroom wasn't the cleanest and there were no paper towels.

Consistency is the name of the game with restaurants and I can day I have eaten over 20 Give Guys burgers from several different locations and never have I had a bad experience with their products. The burgers and topping could be of better quality, but they are always fresh and the selection is wire reasonable. I don't really care for their sauteed mushrooms. The fries are very very good. They're made from fresh potatoes and cooked partially before being does in the oil just for your order. They have fake ish tasting milkshakes and one of those huge computerized flavor selection Coke machine too!

Excellent food for a fast food joint. A little on pricey side, but at the same time, you get what you pay for. A real, fat beef patty (not some puny little mystery meat) and a variety of toppings you won't get at another fast food place. And they aren't stingy on the fries either.

Always a good food experience! Burgers and unusual toppings are terrific, but make sure they are paying attention to what you say, as orders are occasionally wrong. Love the soft drink varieties - this is the only place I ever buy soda! Shakes are not great. Best fries around! Fresh cut, fresh cooked.

Let's be honest here, your French fries are not 100% peanut oil as advertised, you are missing the magic ingredient to your oil "dimethylpolysiloxane" the synthetic anti-foaming agent that takes about 100 years to break down and will probably be in our bodies for the rest of our lives. Also used as an industrial lubricant and not to mention shampoos and other products.

The food was still good, but used to be way more affordable and my burger felt lighter than it used to. Gone are the signs boasting "best burger for $5".I got a hot dog with no bun for my toddler and it was $6.99! A regular cheese/bacon burger, a small bacon burger, 2 lg fries and lg drinks, with $7 hot dog, almost $57.

It’s also 98° outside right now and I’m eating outside because it’s SO UNPLEASANT with the acid rock playing at top level inside. Very disappointing. Good thing I’m not a regular at this location.

I ordered the bacon cheeseburger online and picked it up it was very messy but it was good and the Cajun fries were good. But next time I would eat it there.

Not one of my favorite fat food stores. Are here because it was open and it was getting late. Burger was overcooked and very dry and fries were greasy. Just my opinion. I will say the employees were friendly.

Love Five Guys but getting extra pickles is like pulling teeth....i have a new line that's proven useful "extra pickles and to me the means when you think you've added enough go ahead and add some more"...seems to be working.

Burgers are a bit inconsistent, it really depends on who's making them. If the person behind grill has made my burger before and I've liked it I'll order, if not I don't usually.

Filthy, but food was good. However, if any of us get sick, or sh....ts, then I will revise the review. No excuse either...we were there before the dinner crowd, 4:30, not many customers & several staff. EVERYTHING was grubby. Tables, chairs, drink machines, credit card scanner...gross.

Ordered cajon fries and someone pretty much dumped the whole bottle of seasoning on there they were covered in about 275% of sodium. Since I've never had that happen at other five guys locations, I hate to give this one a 3 star but it did ruin meal.

Food delicious as always, but a bit of a problem with awareness on the staff's behalf. This afternoon was not particularly busy. I had ordered a burger and shake. Received my burger very quickly, however no shake. I went up to the counter where normal food pick up is. Stood with the receipt in hand and made eye contact with most of the staff. Had to lean over counter and yell for assistance. Milkshake was not accidentally left to the side, simply not started. I understand things are forgotten (worked in food industry for 6 years), but the lack of acknowledging a customer when several opportunities were present is the issue. Once again, food was delicious once received.

Food tasted good, but it's a smash burger so it's hard to mess up. And yet somehow they did and had to remake it. There were a lot more than 5 guys working and it wasn't that busy, but I had to wait while other orders that were put in after mine were made and called out first.

Food was good, service was prompt and efficient Atmosphere however was NOT up to previous experiences at this location. The two women were yelling, A LOT, things that didn't sound related to an order. However tables and floor were clean meticulously by a young man, who I watched help a visually impaired older man. Also, the chain needs to bump up their game and and a spicy brown mustard in stead of/in addition to that yellow mustard.

It's fine I guess but for the prices they charge you'd reasonably expect them to at least have supplies under control.

Tried calling in an order ahead of time and was placed on hold, although I could hear everything that was occurring, as if they simply placed the phone down on the counter. After at least fifteen minutes of waiting, I believe that they forgot I was supposed to be helped. The entire time, I could hear the staff take orders in the background, though for the last several minutes I could hear them casually laughing and joking with one another. (I understand that the staff needs to help the customers in the store, especially if it's particularly busy, but from what I could hear on their end, it was not so busy as to justify a fifteen minute wait on the phone.) After hanging up, I tried calling for a second time, since the staff did not seem to be busy, at least from what I had heard. After waiting for several minutes, the line was continuing to ring, and no one picked up. At this point, it was no longer convenient for me to try calling them for a third time, and I had to drive to the store itself and place my order there. Usually I am very satisfied with the service at Five Guys, and their food is, and was, excellent as always receiving it, but today's service was an unusual low for the Five Guys in Mohawk Commons.

Got my order wrong after, they almost forgot to give us part of our order. One of the employees wasn't wearing their mask properly (they didn't have their nose covered) so they were breathing all over everything while there's a pandemic. Floor was slippery over by the bathroom, and I almost slipped. The employees were friendly but seemed to be messing a lot of orders up. Food tasted good, so at least there's that

When I order on your website at 1 pm for a 2:30 pick up and it's not ready until 2:45 that is unacceptable!!!

It's price gouging pure and simple Then they put out a tip cup. The workers deserve it, but not at that price You can sit down in a diner and get a waitress instead of a snappy cashier and brown bag for the same price or less. It's time for everyone to stand up to this and just bring food from home. It's insane. There is zero value for dollars spent. They haven't invented fire. It's a hamburger in a brown bag.

You took a fresh piece of meat and cooked it to death. Every burger is cooked to well done? Dry as a bone. Yup. Coming from someone who grills and smokes expensive cuts of beef this is unacceptable. Not my favorite five guys at all, i’ve been to others and the french fries would be coming out all over the bag for a small size this place it just came out of the cup, ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce,onion, ketchup and mustard. I don’t know I don’t see any bacon, The onions were substituted for pickles and the ketchup let’s just say is nowhere to be found and the french fries were very soggy 🙄. Next time it’ll be perfect though because I’m going to another location

I chose the advertised curbside pickup because of covid. Arrived in lot, informed the staff through app twice that I was there and still no food. I called. They said they'd get it out when that had a chance. At the 20 min mark, I went inside. My food was getting cold on the counter and several employees standing around. Curbside at this location is a joke. Poor management

I make better burgers I love 5 guys but for the price for 2 burgers and 2 large fries I gotta be honest I can justify the cost because of the fries but to get 2 large cups not filled or only 4 fries in bottom of the bag all of where not even salted/seasoned that's enough to make my purchase no longer worth it I understand times are different and want to keep five guys alive I'm going to avoid wasting my $ on it just like the other burger places yes the Fries was the selling point of worth the cost or not it's my favorite part and I'm so disappointed burger discussing 2 times in a row just lost a long time customer 2 bites 14 $meal what a waist never again

The worst dirtiest five guys ever walked into will never step in that door again fries all over floor more fries on floor than in the bag burger made me sick all night . . Fries were ice cold on a two minute ride home couldn’t believe how bad this establishment was run have been up and down the east coast in five guys this is the worst . Just cool at home . This is truly a horrible Five Guys. The food was improperly cooked. Ordered the cheeseburger and only got one slice of cheese; half of my requested condiments weren't on there and the burgers were so overdone they were crispy like a chip. The fries were overcooked. It took over 30 mins to receive my order after ordering it. Basically disgusting food. I ended up throwing it away. I submitted a survey. I also submitted a concern request through the Five Guys website and haven't heard back. I guess they don't care about customers. Just go to Wendy's up the street, it's much better.

Always a good experience, until yesterday. Very poor customer service was rendered., (rude and abrupt) via the phone. The franchise owner (?) called to address the issue that we had and offered multiple explanations as to why the order was not filled, why the Five Guys Niskayuna personnel answered the phone with an attitude and how we could successfully place a remote order in the future, but failed to offer any form of apology or assure us that we shouldn’t expect the same rude phone response in the future, if we called their store. Not a positive experience.

Horrible customer service. Cant even get a hello or thank you. Employees angrily yelling at one another. Dirty bathroom, floor, and tables. Poor portion of fries. I waited almost 15 minutes for a cheeseburger with just ketchup and fries. How is that possible? Wont return, wont recommend.

Food is okay buns break apart, the fries are the only thing I enjoy. Workers do not practice safe food handling. Cashier with the black shirt and hat with tattoos. He was wearing gloves went from the register to making food, went to restock condiments, napkins, touched his hat back to making food then the register wearing the same pair of gloves. In my opinion that's not only disgusting but also a major health concern. Also the soda machine clearly never gets changed, drinks are always flat or all taste like seltzer. I have asked nicely before if they can fix the machine the workers would tell me nothing is wrong with it. When you ask for a refund they give you a big stink. I am sorry I don't want to drink something I am not going to enjoy and taste like garbage. This place has gone down hill significantly and it's a shame.

Absolutely awful compare to years ago. Starting off with the trash all over the floors and the 10 minute wait to get helped. I ordered 1 cheese burger a little fry and drink. Total came to 20.58. This is absurd, you are a fast food restaurant not McCormick and smith. Your food is not worth this amount of money. I then was looked at poorly for not leaving a tip. Both soda fountains were broke and one sprayed me down. Five guys you were once amazing and now you are overpriced fast food. I will not be returning and I hope others follow until they fix this pricing issue.

I'm not a huge five guys fan to begin with because they're way overpriced. But this location has made me decide to write them off completely. Burger was a mess, fries were disgusting, staff was barely present mentally, and the entire store was dirty and sticky. Never again.

The food is decent, but ordering on Uber Eats is probably a bad idea. Looks like my burger and fries were ready 5 minutes after I ordered but didn’t get to my house until over an hour later. Everything was COLD. I ordered from this Balltown Rd location in July and the food arrived hot and was very good. I’ve ordered from the Latham location and it was just a huge soggy mess and I couldn’t eat the bun because it was too soggy. Even though today’s food was cold, it was not soggy so that’s a plus.

I thought five guys cooked burgers well done EVERY SINGLE TIME. Mine definitely wasn’t cooked that way! Employees are to busy having conversations with each other instead of paying attention and doing their job. Either they forget half of the food or they don’t cook it properly. Always an issue.

The experience in the store was not horrible, not welcoming but also not horrible the food on the other hand was less than to say the least. When I got home and handed out food out to my family I could instantly see the food was crushed. It looks as if someone squeezed our burgers in their fist before putting it into the bag. Next our fries were ice cold and not even one kind they were 2 different types of fries. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be returning to this location.
