Highly recommended. V good selection of wines. Order Burrata with tomatoes and olive oil with red wines. Very friendly staff. Once you get out cross the street to The North port Sweet shop (estb. 1922) and get v v good ice creams and don't miss the sugar free chocolates etc on the right side shelf.

Great concept of taking food out and eating it there. You can order from various restaurants in Northport right from their menu and they serve it there like it’s from their own kitchen. You can even get a pot of Maroni’s meatballs. Cute dim lit atmosphere.

Great wine selection.. great live music by a band called "unwined" a great atmosphere overall. I like that you're able to order food from nearby restaurants as well. I recommend three skirt steak!

Great place. We sat at the bar, the staff was friendly. This place had the best spinach artichoke dip that I have ever had. I will go again just for it.

Absolutely love this place and it's versatility in price and food. I can order 4 samples or I can get 3 glasses and an entree from a local restaurant. Just wished it opened earlier in the summer.

I can’t say enough good things about the Wine Cellar. I had my engagement party here, rented out the whole restaurant for 3 hours, and everything was perfect, even better than expected. It started with the owner Lindsay, who was so nice, helpful and accommodating right from the start. Her manager, Felicia, is amazing. Other workers there, Jack and Catherine, were amazing as well. I’ve been coming to wine cellar for a few years, always loved it. But this party put it over the top. Highly recommend the wine cellar just for a night out, or a private party. Thank you Lindsay, everything was perfect!

Went to the wine cellar today on a whim with my husband since our two babies were asleep in the stroller. The owner happened to walk in with his family and was insanely nice to us - even bought us a round!! The bartender was also great. Good wine - good people! It is so nice to go to a venue where the owner is as nice as the place. Made our day!

We recently had our wedding at the wine cellar and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lindsay, Molly, Alex + their team were accommodating, high energy and went above and beyond for our event. The food, catered from Salted. on the Harbor, was outstanding. The wines were raved about for days. The space was absolutely stunning (and customizable for our event!). If you’re considering WC for a private event, run, don’t walk. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you, WC Team!

Wine list is diverse and honestly don’t think there is a bad option. It is small so call ahead if you have a large group. The food was soooo yummy and time just flew before you could come to the conclusion that this was a wonderful evening that i cannot wait to experience again.

We came because we won a gift card, but we left knowing we would return. Great hello, friendly people, nice selection. They had a tasting of cabernet wines that were reasonably priced and very nice. We ended up buying two bottles of the tasted wine. We will be back.

Wine prices by the glass are a real bargain and they have some interesting brands on the list. Place gets really busy on Fri and Sat nights and they don't staff accordingly, so you may sometimes have to wait to get served.

Good wine spot with a decent selection. Not expansive, but focused. Can likely find what you're looking for -- mostly American, some Old World/South American. Ambiance is good and staff are generally attentive. Can get a little squirrelly on busier nights.

Nice place to spend time sipping good wine and tapas. Now you can sample some of the adjacent restaurants menus right there. You can order right from there. Your waitress will take your order. Little loud once the music gets going.

We had reservations, they sat us down in the open right in front of the door. When it was opened a very cold breeze would hit us. They were 1 of maybe only 3 couples there. They could of sat us better. They weren't accommodating even though place was empty. Over priced board, we left without having dinner.

We were so excited to come here. But when we got there we were not greeted and didnt know where to go, there was no hostess staff or someone to tell you where to sit. So some worker told us to sit at a tableand nobody came over for 20 minutes to acknowledge us. We went over to somebody to make sure they didnt forget us, and the server (who seemed to be the only one working) kept seating other people and taking their orders. I've never done this, ever, but we walked out. I was excited about coming here, but we got no service whatsoever. Maybe it was busy, or short staffed but just communicAte that, and we wouldnt have left.
