Amazing food, drinks, and service! On 4th of July weekend they had plenty of room. Great patio and ambience. We loved the lobster tacos, Nashville chicken sandwich was very saucy and delicious and the homemade chips were the best I have ever had. The strawberry rhubarb cheesecake was also to die for as well. Highly recommend!!
Lovely evening. We sat outside on the veranda. The food and service were great. Braised Beef and peppers was tender and juicy, peppers added a nice touch. Special Blackened Mahi Mahi on orzo with Mango salsa was delicious. We didn't order one but saw the Bavarian Pretzel 🥨. Looks like a meal in itself.
After snowmobiling all day, we were looking for a good meal. The Mill did not disappoint. Great meal, great atmosphere and great service! The soups, homemade salad dressings and main entrees all had excellent flavor. We will definitely be back.
The food was fantastic and fresh! Quick and friendly service! You can sit inside or out, beautiful both sides. I had bourbon glazed salmon and my partner had the steak cooked the way he likes it!
Under new ownership, this restaurant offers a nice meal with AMAZING staff. The past three times we’ve gone to The Mill, we’ve had a great meal (Ranch Fries are bomb and I love the Salmon dinner) and the service has been top notch (as a former server/bartender I don’t give high praise often!). We’ll most definitely be back and we urge others to try as well!
Food was very good. We got the fish tacos and the special which was a spicy mahi with rice. Both were very good. The server was so friendly with the kids as well! We will be back when we're up in that area!
Stopped in twice last week during our vacation. First time on our kayaks and the second time with the whole family. Both times were very good and we would've gone again if we had more time. From what I understand they are under new ownership and have a few new unique menu items that were worth stopping in for - including the deep fried deviled eggs!!
Had there pork meatballs for a appetizers. 😋 Then had there jammin blue cheese burger and chips very good. And order a adult beverage it was called The Sandbar very good too!
What a nice clean place. Outside eating drew is in,but the inside was so charming too. Wife raved about the fish tacos and I really enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich. They even satisfied my IPA craving with a NEIPA brewed by Fiddleback. Service was attentive and prompt. Don't drive by it like we almost did. Go and enjoy.
Ordered stuffed chicken and the Delmonico and both were fantastic. The steak and accompanying broccoli were well seasoned and the bread with maple butter was phenomenal. Our waiter, Tim, provided great service. Would go back without question next time we are in Old Forge.
We had the pleasure of meeting Adam at the bar this evening. It was such a comfortable and inviting atmosphere we decided to eat dinner there. Tonight was the Wednesday prime rib special. Simply delicious meal! We hadn’t visited the The Mill in several years. Litttle did we know what a wonderful experience it would be! I highly recommend giving them a try!
Casual atmosphere and the best steak I've had in years. Everything was full of flavor, the steaks were cooked to perfection and were so full of flavor my husband didnt use steak sauce(says a ton if you knew him). Butternut squash soup served routine style, French bread with honey butter ... everything was so good. They said they are open year round ... definitely worth the drive.
We were in town for the Adirondack Railbike tour and went to The Mill for dinner after our tour. It was a beautiful location, well maintained, and the staff was very nice. The food was good. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of gluten-free options on the menu (I noticed because I have a loved one that eats gf).
Food was great, but the service was slow. Possibly short staffed, but when we got our server, he was great. Food was really good. Homemade butter was outstanding. Prices were fair.
My husband and I were in Old Forge snowmobiling this week. We heard that the Old Mill, now The Mill, was under new ownership and decided to give it a try. Food was excellent, wait staff was excellent. The original Old Mill was very good, but then went downhill. This owner is just as good as the original. They have the soup tureen, which by the way, was excellent. They do only have a single salad, but I really prefer that anyway. The salad dressings were great. Can't say enough good about it. Look forward to going back.
Just got done positively gobbling my food down from here. It was delicious. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. My husband got the wings and he said they were prefect. We also got the pretzel which was excellent also.
Have had a great experience each time I have dined. Mushroom appetizer is great. Simple and fair priced kids menu. Schnitzel sandwich is a must have. Great & friendly service. Nice atmosphere by the wood stove in the bar.
The Mill Wick sandwich was fantastic. Others in my group got lobster tacos and country fried steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The bar has a nice selection of beer and cider on tap. There can be a bit of a wait but it's with it. The host gives accurate wait times.
Great Cajun fish fry. Actually I got mine broiled. Very good coleslaw. Choice of mash, fries or baked potato. Dining in the bar area by the fireplace or at the wooden bar or in the dining room or especially on the deck you will have a nice atmosphere to enjoy your meal. Sunset is a particularly perfect time to have drinks on the deck and watch the sky change colors over the Moose River in two directions, north and west. Despite being so short staffed that they had to do takeout only, they served us our drinks and our takeout meal so we could eat it on the deck. Other than the container as opposed to a plate, what's the difference? None.
Always come up to Old Forge and we haven’t went to the mill in a very long time but this past winter we decided to give it a try. Very good! But if they are busy expect to wait! Other than that the food was great I just don’t recommend the shepherds pie, but everything else was wonderful. We even went two times in one week.
After a long day of snowboarding and skiing on empty stomaches my friends and I came here to fill up; I’m so glad we did. Every single thing we got was SO good. From our entrees to even the warm bread and sweet maple? Butter (Not sure how it was flavored) was incredible. HIGHLY recommend eating here.
If the food wasn't so amazing and I wasn't so hungry after hiking all day then I could have shared pics of the grouper tacos and black and blue burger we enjoyed last evening. The tacos included crispy fried fish that was broken into smaller pieces so everything fit nicely into the two super-stuffed soft shells. A wide range of choices is available with daily specials. I was tempted by the chicken pot pie special. On the beverage front, my wine was a generous pour of a house white. One note: we arrived at 4:30 on a gorgeous day and the place was packed by 5:15. Release your inner early bird to get your choice of outdoor seating if that is your thing. Indoor dining looked super cute & cozy as well.
How did we not know about this place sooner ?? We have lived up here since beginning of 2020 and this is the best food we have had all year. Came two nights in a row because the dishes were excellent and the service was great ! It is also one of the few really nice and clean looking restaurants in the area and the Christmas + lodge style decorations make a beautiful ambiance. We will definitely come back !
My fiancé and I went to the Mill on Sunday expecting to have a quick dinner date but when we arrived the waitress apologized and told us she was the only server and only 1 cook was in the back. Even though she had basically a full house, she handled the staffing issue so well and still seemed so organized. We waited a long time for the food which was expected but let me tell you… the food was amazing. The best food we’ve had out in a long time. I got the meatloaf and my fiancé got the Nashville chicken sandwich. Even though they were short staffed, the food was piping hot and cooked perfectly, which is not something you’d expect when there are only 2 people running the restaurant on a Sunday night. We visit old forge quite often and it was our first time at The Mill. Safe to say we will definitely be back !!!
This place is a really good place to eat. Tried it for the first time and it was really good. The wings were outstanding & I also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which was really good. Place is very clean & great service. The waitress was really nice & took real good care of us even though she was running from table to table. Wish I remembered her name maybe it was Hailey or something like that but she was amazing. Make sure she gets something for her outstanding work!
Had a wonderful meal on their outdoor porch with a group of friends. Food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Six people ordered six different meals and everything was delicious. Best meal I’ve had in awhile!
The food was great. We started off with the pretzel. The beef on weck was really good. They used non traditional kimmelweck roll but the bread was really good. My partner got the protein bowl with shrimp and it was really well made, shrimp were cooked right. The staff was busy but they were still attentive overall we had a great visit.
Nice experience- the view is great, menu made everyone happy, and we really enjoyed the cornbread presentation with the pulled pork. Thanks for a nice meal after a fun day
What more could you ask for? Fair prices, excellent food and terrific wait staff.
Went with a table of 9. Took a little while to get in and get food, but the food was excellent. Everyone loved the stuffed mushrooms, the peppers appetizer, burgers, and wings. Charlie did a great job waiting on us. Would go back.
Arrived here around 5:30 on a Saturday night on Labor day weekend and we were greeted by multiple wait staff letting us know they were cleaning a table for us and would be with us shortly. Our waiter was Tim and he was fantastic!! I will ask for him again! Food was so good and good perfect!
Tonight was our first time eating at The Mill. It was busy and we got the last open table. I expected a long wait and that was ok since we weren’t in a hurry. It took a little bit to get our order placed but then the food came out much more quickly than we expected. The orders that passed by us as we waited looked great. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and my husband had The Stack. Both were delicious! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return the next time we’re up this way!
Amber was amazing! She got absolutely swamped with a rush at the bar and powered through! Best potato peeler, dishwasher and bartender.
When we walked in and waited to be seated, we maybe waited about 2-3 minutes. Got seated and they mentioned that it would be a little bit and the waitress would be with us. The waitress was very upfront like when she dropped our drinks she said this other table has been waiting and that she would be back. Completely understandable. We thought this was great that she took two seconds to let us know what was going on. Great experience and we will be back.
Do not go by the 4.1 overall, there must have been an unfortunate number of Karens who have complained about nothing in this place. Here is some bullet points. • Food was amazing. • Service was great, they work their butt off and are kind, funny and laid back, especially Tim. • The atmosphere was terrific, chill and fun. Very simple, enjoy yourself.
We came for dinner last night. We're out of towners from Buffalo. The Mill is outstanding. The food is phenomenal. We had Ranch fries to start. We almost ate the whole thing before dinner. I got flat iron steak. It was great, except way too salty for me. I like things plain. Still delicious. Fiance got Salmon and loved it. He's a rough critic. So the fact he loved it is a testament to how great it is. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming and rustic..what you'd expect in the mountains! We had a great dinner!
In town for vacation with family. Mill looked fun and inviting. Food was delicious! Fresh baguette with maple bourbon butter, deep fried deviled eggs, ranch fries, pork schnitzel sandwiches with bacon & onion jam (cut and made in house), bacon bleu burger. Kid's menu is hilarious and the kiddos in our group devoured these chicken tenders. Our server was great; personable, pleasant, on the ball. We will definitely be back!
Very varied menu, inside is more of a bar atmosphere, we ate on the outside deck with our dog. We had a great sunset overlooking a small lake. We got right in which is amazing for summer in Old Forge
So glad to see the Old Mill open again. Our server was great, very friendly. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Prices a little high - large soft pretzel $12. But the food is good.
This has always been one of my favorite places to eat in Old Forge for as long as I can remember, and I was very excited when it reopened. I went on father’s day 2023, and the food was just as amazing as I remembered, just the menu was a little more limited. The only thing was the wait time, and I know that understaffing was mostly why. We waited an hour for our food to come out, and then another hour for the waitress to clear our check. She was kind about it though, which was nice. We had five adults and two kids, and there was a party of 12 there at the same time, so that was probably also a big factor, but this place has never been a quick stop anyways. We watched several other families come and go and spend a much shorter time in the restaurant, which is frustrating. It was just a bit excessive to arrive at 5pm and leave around 7:30pm. I still love this place and would come back, but it is not for those with a tight schedule and impatient kids.
Atmosphere is great love old forge and love the adirondack area espically with fall foliage. Nice rustic interior but not rustic like run down rustic as in outdoorman theme with nice wood finish and animal mounts. Food was ok. Wouldn't necessaily say it stood out as amazing or aweful just ok. And service was slow for seating but decent to get the food. As far as being slow that's out of their control for that day as they were short staffed in waiters and kitchen so I would say they handled it thr best they were able to. Help is hard to find in any field. Good help is impossible to get these days. I'd give them a try if u haven't and I might give them another try too. Depends on were we ate down there and what we want to try next.
Waited an hour for our meal after appetizers. Something must have happened in the kitchen. Appetizers were great. Ordered the schnitzel but what I got was a thick porkchop. That is not a schnitzel.
Teddy was an excellent server. He was very mindful of our table and seemed very genuine despite all our different requests. Thank you Teddy!
Food was great! Server was great! Its because of The 20 minute wait to be seated (no one else in front of us in line) and the long wait for our food that we wont be back again, especially not with 4 children. Took 2 hours. Give your waitress a raise!! She was running wide open, doing triple duty!! Sorry,I forget her name. She was working at 6 pm on 8/20/25
We have come to the Mill Over the last 20 years when visiting the Adirondaks and weathered some ups and downs with the place. Haven't been here in a while but decided to visit and couldn't be happier with our decision. I had the Stack, pulled Pork over corn bread with coleslaw on top, my husband had the meat loaf special and my son had the flat iron steak. Very happy with all of our choices! So glad the place is on the up and up again. Service was pretty good considering they were short handed, a lot of people eating on the deck, smaller menu than in the past but it's all homemade and the quality was excellent!
I was shocked at how much the restaurant has changed. Granted it has been almost ten years. It has an awesome new entrance dining room with vaulted ceilings and a bar. The most noticeable change was the short staffing. Some of the staff seemed very overwhelmed and frustrated, I felt very bad for them. I hope they can find some more help to ease the stress a bit.
The pasta was very good and a nice size portion with lots of sauce and flavor. The bread was very good as well; warm, soft on the inside with a little crunch on the outside and lots of flavor! A side salad came with our dinner but I'd prefer mixed greens instead of iceberg. Overall a good meal!
Food was good. Totally understaffed though. Saw two servers handling a total of 12-14 tables. The servers were doing the best they could and should be commended, but being stretched thin like that, things fall through the cracks. Ownership seems blinds to this and can't get enough staff. The staff has been wearing t-shirts making fun of a one-star review on Yelp about no longer taking reservations. But, this place is receiving one-star reviews regularly now. IMO they should take care of their serious problems before they begin to try and joke at their petty problems. It took us more than an hour and a half for basic entrees for 3 ppl starting at 5:30 pm.
The food was pretty good. Highly recommend the Ranch Fries for an appetizer. However, for a Wednesday evening and a sparse dining room and deck, the service was slow. The host seemed frazzled just taking our drink order and all the servers acted like they had full stations. Our server did check on us twice but after waiting 20 minutes for the check at the table, had to have the host track her down and waited another 10 minutes to pay.
Food was delicious!! Drinks were delicious and strong! Service felt new. But overall good place to eat!
The food was outstanding but they only had 2 waitresses for a big crowd. They did their best. Help out by bussing your own table. The bumper stickers on the wall send a bad message, I would ditch them. Those opinions are not necessary.
This past weekend, like we have for more than 20 years, four of us traveled to Old Forge to enjoy the area, the people and the food. Three out of three nights we ate at the Mill Restaurant (formerly the Old Mill Restaurant). The first night we had drinks on the deck while we waited for our seating to open up. We were called for our table in a reasonable amount of time. The server was OK, and the food was good, but not special. The second night, we waited for our table while having drinks in the bar area. The hostess would from time to time come into the bar looking for who was apparently next up for seating. She didn’t come to the far side of the room where we were sitting, and only if you were sitting near her, or there was a short break in the room noise could she be heard announcing who was up next. After a longer than expected wait, I had to go find her to be sure we weren’t passed up for seating because we couldn’t hear her. The hostess was put off because I came to question her about seating. Again, the food was good, but not special, and this time the server was somewhat better. Sunday night, because we were tired, we wanted drinks, and we were staying within walking distance, we went back to the Mill. Once again we waited in the bar/lounge area waiting for our table. Our 25-30 minute wait turned into almost an hour, and during that time we didn’t see the hostess come in the bar at all announcing who had a table ready for them. When she finely came in, she randomly walked around the room, near the bar asking who was waiting for seating never once referring to names on her “list” and never coming near us. We watched as three different groups that came in the door after we did, being taken for seating. They were couples, but, they were seated at booths that are made for four people, so there was no reason for them to have gone first, other than the fact that the hostess was incompetent and frazzled. I again went to the hostess and expressed my displeasure, civilly, but sternly, she was mad that I would question her and point out that others had been seated before us, snapping, you’re next, I’m setting you up now. It was same with the food and server, OK, but nothing special. Over the years when it was The Old Mill, we have eaten in the neighborhood of 50 meals there, that’s around 200 entrees and drinks, the service was better, the food was better, and they were busier. This weekend was without question the worst. Our 12 entrees, drinks, and service were less enjoyable than going through a drive through at a fast food joint. The management needs to address the hostess issue, and if she is management, well, she should consider a change of careers. We will be back in Old Forge next year, but not likely to the mill.
An annual trip to Old Forge, been here a few times... Nothing to write home about. Service was slow and the menu a bit expensive for the offerings. The server was nice but the food took forever... had a $16 burger that compares to a good burger at Wendy's. Again, If you want to charge the price, you need to put up good products. Seems to be common in this little BS tourist town... overpriced garbage shoved down the throat of tourists who otherwise have no other options for MILES, so they get shafted by the local establishments. Will grill my own next year.
The food was so so. Chicken in the chicken parm was way too thick. The sauce tasted like it was just mixed and was not cooked down to get the flavors blended. Reheated 5 hours later tasted a lot better. Server was walking away every time she asked if we needed anything, so she missed us trying to ask for things.
Service was extremely slow. What they saved in wages by only having three people on the floor, they lost in gratuity and return business. I had an old fashioned and my wife had a Long Island ice tea. We both agreed they were the worst we had ever had. The only bright spot of this experience was the food. It was good, but for the price wasn't a good value. Two entrees, two cocktails, and three kids meals ran us $100. My wife joked on the first night of our arrival that the FastTrak across the street had better reviews. Now we know why.
Went on a Saturday night around 7. Place wasn't real busy. Waited a long time to be even greeted. Asked at the bar and was told "she's over there, I doubt she hasn't seen you"????? Like we were lying....another guy ahead of us had been waiting even longer. Got to the table, service was slow as hell and the waitress did the bare minimum and seemed bothered when asked for additional items. Food took a long time to come. Steak was ordered medium rare. When it came, the center was raw and cold. Overall not impressed. Not at all like it used to be. Has gone downhill quite a bit. There are other places in Old Forge to get a better meal. I'd skip this place. In Response: We were there the weekend of May 8th 2021. There were no male hostesses. A woman came up to the guy in front of us who told her he had been standing there for 20 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. She said she had a table and took him to it. Then came back and got us like 10 minutes later. She seated others too while we were there. As for a review with a similar name, I haven't been to the Mill since the middle 90's, so this is my first review of your establishment. Not sure what you are referring to with the reviews.
My family and I have come up to Old Forge for my entire life and have always driven past this place (evident by remembering that this place has the big water wheel). While visiting from VA we decided to stop here for dinner. Truth be told, it was underwhelming at best. The 2 stars are mostly for the atmosphere and the service, very good overall. The food was fairly bland, my wife had a steak, which was cooked well but was fairly flavorless, along with mashed potatoes which lacked seasoning overall (she had me try them to make sure it wasn’t just her that it tasted not very good for). Their chicken wings were actually really good, we got 2 orders for the table. Nashville Hot Chicken was decent but had way too much breading for my liking (it tasted pretty good, not a ton of heat but enough to know it’s hot). Overall I was glad that I went to fulfill a childhood desire to see the waterwheel, but I don’t think I’ll be going back here to eat any time soon.
Waited over an hour for food, never got a water refill, food was cold when it came out. Won’t be coming back
It’s a cute wooden joint and cozy atmosphere but the service was abysmally slow and we waited over an hour to get our food after ordering. The burgers were then unfortunately either burnt or too greasy! Try somewhere else when you’re in town until they get some more staff.
The owner needs to hire up. The beleaguered staff tried hard but it took 20 minutes to be seated in the half-empty dining room, 30 minutes to order drinks, and another half hour to get food. Our food was so-so. Good atmosphere but wouldn’t come again.
Waited at the door for about 15 minutes. No one acknowledged us or any of the other people waiting. Lots of people walked out before we did. There's a cute sign that says someone will be with you and if it's not fast enough get a job application. Would be a fun sign if the staff even said hi or we'll be with you in a bit.
Not the same Old Mill!!! They don’t take reservations. Terrible service! They were serving prime rib so we decided to wait the 40 minutes. After 1 hour the hostess came back to see who was still there who was on the list. She told us we would be next and there was still prime rib. After another half hour (don’t know why we even waited that long) I went to her to complain about the unreasonable wait. She looked confused and asked the name. When I told her, she apologized over and over and told us we could sit now. I believe she forgot about us. When we went back there were a lot of empty tables. We got seated and when the waitress finally came to our table and we told her we wanted prime rib, she told us they just announced there was no more prime rib. We told her about our situation and left! Another restaurant down the street seated us right away, and they had delicious prime rib and they take reservations!!!
As fellow campers. We have been coming up here 20 plus years. This year The Mill really did a number on us. We had waited Tuesday for it to open. After a half hour wait it was closed. Wednesday comes along we and like 30 other people were in the parking lot waiting for it to open. Again it wasn’t opened! There was no sign stating “Sorry for inconvenience but we are closed”. We are very disappointed as it was our favorite restaurant in Old Forge but we will never be coming here again as a family! We understand emergency but how about leaving a note on the door so 30 plus people don’t have to wait!!!👿
I went here on vacation 7/27/19 and sat down after waiting because there was no one there. We didn’t know that you had to get your own menu and seat yourself. Then we sat for 15 minutes before even being acknowledged by the waitress. Then it took 5 minutes for her to come back and take our drink orders. We waited for another 5 minutes to get our drinks. Then 15/20 to order our food. I ordered a burger without blue cheese and I saw her write it down. The 40 minutes later she brings out our food and I look inside the burger and see blue cheese. So I sent it back then 10 minutes later she came with the bill still with the burger on it. We said we gave it back and the she said “oh yeah I could take that off the bill” as if she was clueless about what happened. Terrible service! There were other people there who ordered drinks and then were waiting so long they walked away.
Ordered scallops special, awful dish. Very fishy . Waiter was asked to refill water, never came back. Should of read reviews first, never again . Manager argued with us at the table. He said he ate the food off the dish and it was fine. Hope the owner find some better management . Still made us pay the bill.
I would give less than one star if it was an option. I ordered the ribs. Could not cut them to begin with and then when I did finally get them cut, they where tough to bite into to. When server asked if everything was ok, I told him they were tough, reluctantly. He took them back. He came back to the table and informed me that after some discussion with the manager and owner that they were still charging me for the food that wasn’t edible. He also said the owner “felt of them”and they weren’t tough. Really? You felt of them? They were tough. They also had a strange taste and were barely warm. The manager came out and informed me the best he could do was charge me 1/2 price and have them bagged up for me to take home. Informed manager I could understand charging me if I had eaten the whole meal or even half of it and then lodged a complaint but I was asked and did not feel I should pay for something I couldn’t eat .He said no one else had complained and it would be bad business to give food away to everyone who complained. Why would you ask a customer how their food is and then not make it right? Hmmm, one bite and I’m not taking it home. I informed the manage I would not feed those ribs to my dog. Maybe I just have higher expectations of how good BBQ is supposed to smell, taste, and be presented. The ribs were definitely the prepackaged and pre cooked type heated in a microwave. Yes, they microwave the ribs. There wasn’t even a hint of heat radiating from the ribs once they were placed in front of me. Definite red flag for microwaved food. I don’t know how the sides were. I never tasted them. My husband finished his meal which was just okay and we were asked if we wanted dessert. I asked my server if he was joking? I told him no because I was going to have to search for another place to eat and pay for another meal which I was sure would be edible. The server was a good guy though so I still tipped him. Don’t go here and if you do, don’t order the microwaved tough ribs. Edited: Make reservations for Mister Bistro for a fabulous dining experience!
The food was okay. The service was absolutely terrible. In a nearly empty restaurant, it took them half an hour to bring us water, then another half an hour to take our order, then almost an hour to put our basic order of burgers onto the table. I understand that everyone in low staffed due to Covid, but there was a family of 8 that came in an hour after we did, ordered, ate, and was packing up to leave at the same time we were. Will not be returning.
Had high expectations and was quickly disappointed. I went out to dinner with a group a friends, one member of the party had been here a few years ago and had talked it up. We were greeted by our friendly waitress and sat down right away. We were shocked to see it was a one page front and back paper menu, and nothing seemed too exciting. When it was time to order we had three orders of chicken tenders, two country fried steaks and one chicken bowl. We should have known from the lemonade tasting like powdered lemonade that dinner wasn’t going to be good. Food came, the steak was compared to eat a tire or to be nicer a bunch of frozen steak-umms squished together, the chicken tenders were extremely salty almost to the point of being inedible lastly the chicken bowl a bad version of kfc famous bowl for $18. I took two bites and almost threw up. I’m not one to complain about food I usually just pay and leave and just never return, however my boyfriend was hoping to get some kind of discount because he didn’t want to spend $18 for two bites worth of food. When he brought up concerns he was met with an extremely rude worker who said some nasty things about me, thankfully our waitress had stepped in and was helpful. I don’t recommend this place to anyone food was bad and way overpriced.
Read the reviews prior to my visit. Should have paid closer attention. Yes the atmosphere was cozy, our waiter was excellent but the food not so much. Pricey but that's not the half of it. I ordered a Chicken Parm dinner the sauce was red grease and did not stick to the pasta and the chicken was grainy, the breading was mushy and the dish had a foul smell. After a few bites I realized I could not eat it and couldn't wait for the waiter to take it away. When asked how was it and me letting him know the simple reply was sorry you didn't like it! That was an understatement, I hated it!
It started out great, the person who seated us was extremely friendly and inviting. When we got our food it was extremely dry and salty. A server asked if we'd like a box and we refused, she then shrugged her shoulders and walked off. When paying she made a comment about one person in our party which was very rude and uncalled for. I will not be returning.
Stop by and ask if we could have appetizers on there deck. Was told to go to the bar and ask. Went to bar and they told us to see the hostess. Went to hostess and she told us to go to the bar. We told her we went to the bar and they sent us to her. She told us to go ahead and sit on the deck and a waiter would be with us shortly. After waiting 18 mins we left. I think this place needs better management and pay more attention to there customer. We heard that this place was great, but unfortunately this was not the case when we stop by.
So Ill start by saying the food looked great and our experience stopped there. We started off with a 30 minute wait, not bad so we went to the bar for a drink. Now the place wasn’t busy at all. The floor had open tables all over the place but were told the kitchen was behind. We then sat at the bar for 10 minutes before being asked if we wanted anything to drink. We were never followed up with or asked if we wanted another drink. Its now been over an hour so I went and checked in and was rudely told they in-fact didn’t even have a cook on staff. She couldn’t tell me when we would be sat or if we would even get our food. My wife and I left as did 6 other parties and went someplace else. Id like to offer some advice. If your food tastes as good as it looks you have a great thing going but if you don’t replace your staff you’ll be closed by this time next year.
So being in the restaurant business for 37 years I can not believe the the experience my daughter and her boyfriend had at this restaurant. They should truly be ashamed of the way they treat their customers. Let me start by saying Katie the server was so rude perhaps she shouldn't work with the public. Secondly, besides the disgusting Caesar salad with what she thought was chicken was clearly something you wouldn't feed your dog. She was not quite sure it was chicken it was cold and slimy and she almost broke her tooth on the petrified parmesan cheese. When my daughter sent the inedible salad back the waitess was rude and short Then when the bill came the salad with one bite take was still on the bill, and when my daughter questioned it was told restaurants no longer comp meals even of the customer is not happy ......well I'm here to tell you the business owners that care about their customers their bread and butter absolutely comp meals or at the very least make some attempt to make the customer happy. You truly don't even deserve one star. The sad part is you will remain busy due to the location and available restaurants in the area. If you are considering eating here I highly advise against it. I My daughter put on a Google review the owners response was completely argumentative saying no one ever complains about the Caesar salad. So I looked at the reviews and that is just not the case. This review won't resonate with the owner because he does not care if his Customers are happy. ⁰
Great atmosphere, cold- burnt food, told the waitress to let the kitchen know the French fries were dry and cold, she never came back to our table and we had to flag another server down to check us out. The grilled chicken sandwich’s were burnt, and stone cold. We will find another location for our meal tonight.
Me and my wife came in, seated at 4:30pm and received food at 6:00pm. Within an hour and a half was checked on by our waitress not once! A different waitress took our drink orders, a male waiter brought our food! Then our original waitress came back upon request to the male waiter because we were asking where our waitress was because I ordered the hamburger medium and was beyond well and overcooked! My wife ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, I don't like chicken but when she had me try it it was very dry, overcooked and very crunchy by far... overcooked! Never received refills for our lemon waters. The Best part was the French fries are to die for perfect!!!!! The atmosphere here between the employees was strange. A+ to the man waitress who was seen going table to table taking care of tables that were not his responsibility! We were not charged for our meal due to all the unfortunate events here but decided to go elsewhere to eat.
Our bill, before paying, contained a "POS Technology Fee". So I guess we would have paid that fee even if we paid with cash. What is the fee for? The use of that 'tricorder' thing they use?
WILL NEVERRRR be back! This place is a disgrace and absolute trash! The bartender is one of the rudest people to come across. Apparently her job is really difficult and dealing with people is not something she can do. Once sat, we waited over 15 minutes for someone to even come wait on us. We placed our food order. Half the appetizers never came out. The entrees we ordered, more than half came out wrong. We let the waiter know, he copped an attitude and the food that was brought was cold. Burger was not cooked the way it was ordered. We asked for more bread, it was never brought. He never asked us if we wanted a refill on our drinks, including water. Never checked back on us during our meal. We ate around dirty dishes that he apparently couldn’t clear either. Waited 20 minutes for our bill to be brought to us and pay. Overall literally the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. This place will not survive. Highly recommend a new staff! Good luck!
My friend and I visited this place a few days ago around 8 p.m., and the servers completely ignored us. We left after 20 minutes of watching them walk by our table a dozen or so times.
Waited 30 minutes for a table which was fine. The hostess brought us water and bread. But we then had to wait FIFTY minutes until our waitress even came to us. We got up and left. A waste of time. Don’t bother unless you just want to sit and drink water and munch on bread.
