Stayed in Monterey for the weekend with hubby and we went here for breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was great!! The place inside is small, so depending on the time you show up, you might have to wait for a seat. We didnt wait long because we sat outside on a beautiful gloomy day. We love the cold weather, so it was perfect for us. Our waitress let us know about that days special, which was chilaquiles, and Im glad I ordered them because they were GOOD!! My husband loved his chicken and waffle. And my favorote was their chocolate chip pancakes with caramelized bananas on top. *chefs kiss*
The biscuits and gravy were amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful! The eggs and potatoes were good, might be our new go to breakfast place. I know I’m craving it again, and we just went on Friday. Cute restaurant m!
Amazing brunch at Winston’s! The food was incredibly fresh, and the menu had a great mix of diverse and unique items—you don’t see options like theirs everywhere. The crab eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had. The cappuccino wasn’t the strongest point, but it’s a brunch spot, not a coffee house, so no complaints there. We ate outside and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The wait was minimal, and afterward we were able to walk to nearby shops, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
Winston's - A Brunch is located at 16th St and Lighthouse Ave, inside the old Winston Hotel 🏨 in Pacific Grove CA. Very nice selection of breakfast and lunch menu items 😋. Very friendly and courteous staff 👍. The entire restaurant is clean 👌 and neat. They have both indoor and outdoor seating 💺Today I tried the American Wagya Smash Burger 🍔 😋 👍 absolutely delicious 😋 and the fries 🍟 are fantastic! I highly recommend Winston's 👌 👍😉 Give them a try, you won't be disappointed 😉
This place was amazing. The food was great. I had the Lemon Blueberry Pancakes. The best pancakes I’ve had in my life. My wife ordered the Brisket Benedict. She loved it. I would definitely recommend.
Food, water, atmosphere! All were incredible. Hospitality was refreshing, prices fair! I absolutely love the “if you have no money, come in for a free sandwich” sign on the window. What a wonderful way to serve the community. 10 out of 10 experience. A new local favorite spot. Thank you everyone!
Had a breakfast date with my husband food was amazing. Ordered sausages, scrambled eggs, lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes , and salamon eggs Benedict with potatoes. Mimosa and coffee. Was fantastic
Our family of 6 (4 children) was very happy, comfortable, and satisfied. The staff was soooo helpful and kind to the kids. The atmosphere was lovely and casual. We arrived about 8:30 on a Monday and were seated right away. My husband loved the corned beef hash. I had the Tres Leches French Toast, which was great, but next time I'm getting the standard French toast that I watched my son eat. My other son had the chicken and waffles, and that was some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. One of my daughters had the Nutella French toast and cleared the plate, so it must have been good. The other daughter had the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. She was the only one with leftovers, but only because it was so plentiful. She said it had a very rich flavor. My mocha was very good, made fresh at the espresso machine across the room and presented beautifully.
That lemon blueberry pancake dish was 🔥🔥🔥, absolutely one the fluffiest pancakes i have ever eaten, staff was awesome! I could drink a gallon of that freshly squeezed O.J. too!!
I stopped by Winston’s for a weekday brunch, and even though it was crowded (as expected), I was seated right away. The staff was warm and friendly, making the experience even better. The food really hit the spot—my goat cheese omelet was amazing, and even though I was full, I couldn’t resist trying the lemon blueberry pancakes. I’m so glad I did because they were absolutely delicious—I savored every bite! This place is definitely on my list whenever I’m back in town. A must-visit for a great brunch!
The ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote and lemon curd were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!
Our food was outstanding. You couldn't ask more of an avo toast with a perfectly runny poached egg. My companions had delicious lemon ricotta pancakes and a bowl of oatmeal with a whole cooked (baked?) banana laid on top. Our lattes were excellent as well. We took a large peanut butter cookie away with us for later. Adorable black-and-white high- ceilinged setting. Most of the servers were great but this one guy is not super gracious or welcoming, like you might find in a family business despite the chic setting and on point food. We got there early (8:30 a.m.) and right after we were seated the line just kept growing. You could tell the tables would be constantly filled for hours from that point onwards. I loved this place.
Amazing food! Delicious lemon ricotta pancakes, best chicken pot pie (memorable!), crispy and moist chicken sandwich and fries, fresh salads. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!
Such a cute little place, loved everything about it. First the ambiance was very organic and chic, small, cozy but never felt cramped. Clean, earthy wholesome. The staff was super friendly, and lovely. The food fantastic, very generous portions and the mimosas excellent.

I could tell you about the delicious Bloody Mary, the yummy Eggs Benedict, or the great service, but I want to talk about the Corned Beef Hash. It was the most unique presentation of a traditional dish that I’ve ever had, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. If you are a Corned Beef Hash fan, absolutely try it. It’s hard to change it as much as they did and still have it be good, but they definitely accomplished it.

The food here was absolutely amazing. The servings were large, flavorful, yet also "light." The food wasn't too heavy at all, and I think the pancakes were likely the best I've ever had. I encourage you to stop by here, 100%
Stopped in for breakfast for the first time. Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious, very fresh and large portions. The menue had a large variety of desirable dishes. One of the best breakfast I have had. The ampmosphere was clean and very beautiful .
This place is not comparable to any other! The service was unreal they are so welcoming. The food did not have a long wait at all. It was all presented amazingly and the taste was unreal! If you like First Watch, you have to try this because it’s a step up! The biscuits are unlike any other, we asked how they get them like that and they shared it with us.(You have to go to find out!) 10/10 experience left feeling more than full at a great price! I will be back tomorrow, if you around the area YOU NEED TO GO!
Their signature blueberry/lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing! The biscuits and gravy were alright. The poached eggs were perfectly dry and cooked as requested. The only complaint is how hot and humid the restaurant is. (Still seated and writing this!) The day was highly unusual with a storm and 75+° weather. I feel bad for the employees who suffer through the heat in this tiny (but wonderful) dining spot. I suggest the owners put in ceiling fans or a/c for these hot days. Even if it was unreasonably hot storm, the restaurant would be too hot. OWNERS- TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES AND GIVE THEM SOME COOLNESS!
BEST EGGS BENEDICT I HAVE EVER HAD! I have had a lot of Eggs Benedict, it’s kind of my go to item to order. You know how sometimes the hollandaise sauce is gritty because it comes from a mix? Not this. Winston’s sauce is bright with lemon and delicious. You know how the English muffins tend to be hard to cut through and dry? Not this. They use fresh baked biscuits. I didn’t need to use my knife at all. The place is a little small and doesn’t take reservations, but we were seated right away. I could see how on the weekend they might be busy. I will definitely be going back.
Such an amazing locally owned brunch spot. We ate here twice on our trip and it was so good both times. Would highly recommend!

My food was okay. The white part of my egg on my Benedict was not cooked all the way. We sat out on the sidewalk because the inside is small and packed. Overall, it’s just an okay place. They do what they can considering the location and seating options. But the food could’ve been better to make me give it 5 stars.

There are many breakfast/brunch places in the surrounding area. When my wife and I share a weekday off we tend to grab breakfast and sometimes try a new to us place. The wait on a Friday mid morning was short. The atmosphere was comfortable and the volume in the restaurant was low. Service was quick and the staff were attentive. The food was good and the food that was delivered around us looked good too. My wife got the corned beef hash because of the description and she enjoyed it. I got the biscuits and gravy, this was the single disappointing thing. While good the portion size was small. For 18 dollars you get a single biscuit (not biscuits), which I found weird because nearly every plate that came out around us was larger and also included a biscuit. I ended up ordering a second biscuit and a side of gravy which was larger than the amount of gravy I was served. Good food but I’d order something different for the cost.

Not a standout brunch spot, just the typical offerings. The BLAT was just okay, the tomatoes were pretty bland and the bacon was thick but lacked crispness. The pancakes were pretty good but a bit indulgent for brunch. Would probably not come back
