This was my second stop in to Mike's on Main in two months. Today they had Salmon burgers for Lent, however I had the cheese burger. The bun was a fresh cornmeal bun toasted on the flattop. The burger was a blended brisket smashed and cooked to medium. Juicy and tender with a perfect crust under a completely melted slice of sharp cheddar. Dressed with fresh veggies. Ask for the grilled onions. They don't offer fries, but they do have home made sides. I opted for the potato salad. Rich creamy mayo based lightly tossed with al dente potato slices. The Breve was a nice medium house roast, and their black iced tea was refreshing. Mike and Nancy are a pleasure to meet. If you're ever near Palacios for breakfast or lunch make it a point to stop in. Next time I believe I'll try the reindeer dog shipped in from Alaska.

All i can say is WOW!! Very cute lil coffee shop! Clean! Friendly staff that greeets you! Food is DELICIOUS! My husband had the coffee and it was good he said!! This is a real plus for Palacios to have!! Not far from bay side park if you want to take to go! Definitely a recommend! 👍💯

I got a latte, which was good, but the owner was awesome. He greeted everyone with a smile and hand delivered food to those who had ordered. You can tell he values customers based on how he treats those who come in.

Been here during my last week of senior high-school with my freinds, and all of us enjoyed it! If you're new to town, this is a MUST spot to visit becuase of the food, atmosphere, and the service was amazing! Friendly owners, very clean area.

Found this place on Google Maps while in the area for work. The food was amazing. And the service was excellent. They have a good selection of lunch and breakfast items, as well as any kind of coffee or drink you could think of. Small and fun little cafe. Worth the stop and making trips to go to again.

In this most unique establishment I have not found anything I did not like or enjoy. My go to favorite without a doubt is the Reindeer (no kidding) Dog. It is simply amazing. Mike actually knows how to fry French fries correctly and will happily do so for you. The coffee bar is excellent as well. Really glad they found their way down to us here.

I wasn't planning to eat here but very glad that I did. Ordered the hamburger all the way...best hamburger I've had in a long time. We ordered the tenders off the kid's menu and the portions were generous and prepared perfectly. The service was wonderful, very friendly, but that's what you get in this town, no less. I will def be going back again. Too bad Anthony Bourdain wasn't able to visit this place also.

Two of the most outstanding individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting. And this flows into everything they do. Go by and enjoy the food and a true relaxing atmosphere. Everyone should go and experience this uniqueness. You will find yourself in there quite often. Because the smile you have when you depart is genuine.

I love their coffee. I love that I can get a specialty coffee you made to how I like it. Mocha breve, iced mocha, etc. I'm also excited that now they have gluten-free options on the menu.

This place is such a loving places in this adorable growing small town! If you ever are close to or in Palacios Texas, you have to try this diner out! Great people super loving and welcoming! Great food and coffee and extremely reasonable prices! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Wow. This place would make it in a larger city. Down home service, good coffee and cool vibe. Grab an iced coffee and walk to the beach. I had an ice cream coffee. Our family had lattes and iced chai. Take some time and enjoy this lovely place.

You might have gotten a better review if you would have cooked my hamburger well done like I asked instead of medium rare
