Had the Steak-Egg Scramble. It came with an English muffin, eggs, hash browns and grilled onions and peppers. Was not what I pictured in my mind but it sure was delicious. I also had a cup of black coffee. I will definitely come back next time I’m in town.
Based on my first visit. ---- A Hidden Gem in Palacios! Mike’s On Main is a wonderful little café in the heart of Palacios. It's a cozy, family-owned place that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The decor is charming and full of personality—local photos, vintage coffee signs, and handmade touches everywhere. The menu has everything from fresh coffee and iced drinks to breakfast and lunch items like egg sandwiches, burgers, and pancakes. Prices are very reasonable too. Everything we tried was made fresh and served with a smile. One thing I loved was how organized and clean everything was, from the counter to the kitchen area. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into this place. There’s even a little shelf with local goodies, shirts, and community news—felt like a real small-town spot. If you're ever driving through Palacios, stop by Mike’s On Main. Whether you're in the mood for a coffee, ice cream, or a hearty lunch, this place will leave you happy and full.
New to the area and when I saw Smoked brisket cheese fries I made the effort to visit for lunch! It was amazing and flavor was on point! I was happily surprised that what I thought was tater tots, were actually bite size fried cheese sticks. YUM! Iced coffee was perfect, not overly flavored. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Will definitely make this a regular spot.
This was my second stop in to Mike's on Main in two months. Today they had Salmon burgers for Lent, however I had the cheese burger. The bun was a fresh cornmeal bun toasted on the flattop. The burger was a blended brisket smashed and cooked to medium. Juicy and tender with a perfect crust under a completely melted slice of sharp cheddar. Dressed with fresh veggies. Ask for the grilled onions. They don't offer fries, but they do have home made sides. I opted for the potato salad. Rich creamy mayo based lightly tossed with al dente potato slices. The Breve was a nice medium house roast, and their black iced tea was refreshing. Mike and Nancy are a pleasure to meet. If you're ever near Palacios for breakfast or lunch make it a point to stop in. Next time I believe I'll try the reindeer dog shipped in from Alaska.
All i can say is WOW!! Very cute lil coffee shop! Clean! Friendly staff that greeets you! Food is DELICIOUS! My husband had the coffee and it was good he said!! This is a real plus for Palacios to have!! Not far from bay side park if you want to take to go! Definitely a recommend! 👍💯

Been here during my last week of senior high-school with my freinds, and all of us enjoyed it! If you're new to town, this is a MUST spot to visit becuase of the food, atmosphere, and the service was amazing! Friendly owners, very clean area.
The owners are great! We came 3 mornings in a row for a latte and blueberry scones. The scones are the best I’ve ever had. So glad we stopped in to visit.
Found this place on Google Maps while in the area for work. The food was amazing. And the service was excellent. They have a good selection of lunch and breakfast items, as well as any kind of coffee or drink you could think of. Small and fun little cafe. Worth the stop and making trips to go to again.
In this most unique establishment I have not found anything I did not like or enjoy. My go to favorite without a doubt is the Reindeer (no kidding) Dog. It is simply amazing. Mike actually knows how to fry French fries correctly and will happily do so for you. The coffee bar is excellent as well. Really glad they found their way down to us here.
Delicious blueberry scone! Nice cold brew and they don’t rip you off with tons of ice like most. Very kind service as well.

Really good breakfast, tasted and looked home made vs. produced. Coffee was perfect and if it wasn't so early in the morning, I would've helped myself to their ice cream. Super-friendly staff; great ambiance...highly recommended!!!
I wasn't planning to eat here but very glad that I did. Ordered the hamburger all the way...best hamburger I've had in a long time. We ordered the tenders off the kid's menu and the portions were generous and prepared perfectly. The service was wonderful, very friendly, but that's what you get in this town, no less. I will def be going back again. Too bad Anthony Bourdain wasn't able to visit this place also.
Two of the most outstanding individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting. And this flows into everything they do. Go by and enjoy the food and a true relaxing atmosphere. Everyone should go and experience this uniqueness. You will find yourself in there quite often. Because the smile you have when you depart is genuine.
I love their coffee. I love that I can get a specialty coffee you made to how I like it. Mocha breve, iced mocha, etc. I'm also excited that now they have gluten-free options on the menu.
This place is such a loving places in this adorable growing small town! If you ever are close to or in Palacios Texas, you have to try this diner out! Great people super loving and welcoming! Great food and coffee and extremely reasonable prices! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Wow. This place would make it in a larger city. Down home service, good coffee and cool vibe. Grab an iced coffee and walk to the beach. I had an ice cream coffee. Our family had lattes and iced chai. Take some time and enjoy this lovely place.

You might have gotten a better review if you would have cooked my hamburger well done like I asked instead of medium rare
