This restaurant is amazing!!! Great food, service, and atmosphere. We are visiting Baycity for the day and we are so glad that we picked this place. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good spot to eat. And shoutout to Jeisa!! Jeisa provided absolutely amazing service! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. She checked on us often without being overbearing, gave great recommendations, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. She truly made our experience at the restaurant even better. We’ll definitely be coming back and hope to be served by her again!
La Casona is by far the best restaurant I’ve dined at in bay city! The restaurant was so clean. The floors were sparkling. The staff attentive and the food was delicious! We loved the salsa! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
I had the pleasure of dining here recently while I was visiting my daughter. We were a large crowd with children and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and served much faster than I expected.
Always a great atmosphere. Excellent recipes with super savory food. I recommend the Chicken Stuffed Avocado, the Tres Leches afterwards.. of course the chips and salsa are good and the guacamole is terrific! It's a favorite of ours, and we'll drive from a county over to eat here.
WOW! My family was in town from San Antonio and we were amazed with how good this meal was. All the meats were tender and delicious, rice was actually moist with chunky carrots, beans were great, margaritas were decent (frozen were stronger ;) ) and the Chile relleno might have been the best I've ever had. So happy and full. The waitresses were fantastic too. Food came out very quick. We will be back
Kayla and the other servers did an amazing job for our large party (30 people). Our party was mostly deaf, and the restaurant was able to accommodate us well. I have never seen a more patient and caring group of servers. Their food was delicious! Couldn’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. Thank you!
We have visited several times and each time the food was delicious. The drinks are always amazing as well. The service at the bar is beyond incredible - we feel like family when we visit here. The enchiladas al carbon (beef) are spectacular. This is great place to visit with friends, family, celebrating special occasions. Great music, outstanding atmosphere and a fun place to be.
Everything was so delicious! The watermelon margarita and the strawberry margaritas were refreshing, the nachos were great, the fajitas were fork tender, and the flour tortillas were some of the best homemade tortillas I’ve had in a long time. Our waitress was awesome and the restaurant is very nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely come back the next time we are in the area.
What I like about this place is they have ice cream machine and once you get in or out you can have your ice cream cone service is really fast everything it’s neat and clean. They’re really nice. Food is great. I asked for a margarita. Oh my God I love them. The Michelada’s are great too when they sit you down at the table right away they would take you some chips and salsa. They’re so so great.
Had a great time. Food went down easy. Nice and temperature hot brought to table. Servers were always a hand wave away. Never had a empty drink.
It’s a nice atmosphere, with good and tasty food. It was our first time eating crayfish - which was fun; the 1 pound bowl was $10. I’d recommend this place if your looking for Mexican cuisine.
Great food!!! The staff is excellent! We never ran out of chips, salsa, or water! Nothing we ordered was sub par! Salsa was great! A little heat but not too much. Definitely a great spot!
💜Was great as ever💜 Food was great, service was great. We usually order the same thing over and over, he orders the Chili Relano and I order the Chicken Stuffed Avocado. Mine was cooked to perfection as usual, his across the table looked wonderful. We sat on the patio and chatted while the cars went by. This place is great. The most wonderful thing for a place of business to have is consistency in they're work. Ever time i come the food is amazing. Every single time👍👍
Excellent service, excellent food. Authentic Mexican food. Fajitas were tender and very flavorful, grilled veggies were awesome. Caldo was very very good. El Presedente, was amazing everything cooked perfect. Anaheim Burger was very good flavors blended awesome and not spicy. Homemade tortillas is always a plus!

This was a decent little texmex place. They cooked everything to perfection. The steak was seasoned well, as were the fajitas. The tamale was really good too. The queso was spicy in all the right ways. Both types of salsa were good. The chips were just OK since they were bagged. I would definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.
Good atmosphere. We got shrimp street tacos, the shrimp were small and tasted ok. Another thing we got was chicken chimichanga which was nice and crisp from outside. Lots of items on the menu; will visit again.

The food was good, the portion was large, the service wasn't great. Took a while to get refills on drinks and other stuff but it was busy so not really unexpected. Would recommend if you're in the area.

The shrimp fajitas were a train wreck. The vegetables were kind of ok, but the shrimp were WAY over cooked. Worse, they came in the shell so being over cooked made it almost impossible to remove from the shells. I think 1/3 to half was left behind. I felt like just eating the whole thing and spitting out the shells. They looked awesome being in the shell, but it was a terribly difficult dining experience. I hope they abandon that. I'm optimistic that if you stay away from the seafood that it may be a better place.

Stopped and got pick up with my parents tonight. We have been here before but thought it be nice to go out since I’m in town for thanksgiving. We got quesadillas that had almost no meat. Each one maybe only has 2 small pieces of meat and the rest is just cheese, some were only cheese. The ones with chicken had no taste, like it was freezer burnt and not seasoned at all. The cost is way too high for such a low quality product. Very very disappointed.

Place is nice and waitress was friendly . Presention of food was beautiful but my plate had no flavor at all and no crawfish cream sauce only covered in to much cheese. Stuff avocado had only two small stripe of meat and no taste.
