In short. It was Fantastic! We went back for seconds! Loaded up tacos! Awesome Chips and Salsa bar! Very fast and super clean! In not-so-short. I had (regular) tacos. Like, "street taco" type. First round was Tripe, crispy with a deep flavor! Carnitas, some crispiness and some moistness, I added some more salsa (From thier awesome chips and salsa bar) Asada, it was just perfect! And last, but far from least, was Chili Colorado! What!? Heck ya, Chili Colorado! It was spectacular! Went back for another and also tried the Pastor. They chopped up the pastor finer then I have had before and with that marinade - I think that's the way to go. Another win! All the tacos were so full that I basically made a plate of Nachos with all the meat that fell out! The kids are so picky...they made some really simple quesadillas for them. Then with the power of bribery, they meekly tried some of the extra meat from my Tacos and earned themselves one of the most beautiful churros I have ever seen. -Then for the first time all day, they sat in silence. All hail the Silencing powers of "El Churro!" It was really laid back. They definitely have repeat customers too! At least 1/3 of the patrons were greeted by name at their tables. We were checked on by everyone. We had a great experience! Can't wait to be by again! Thanks so much guys! Keep it coming!

I enjoyed the self serve chips area, that's new to me and I enjoyed being able to pick what toppings I wanted from there. The food is great and it's served fairly fast.

My go-to place for burritos. Pastor is fantastic, love the carnitas and grilled chicken as well! Service is super quick, even when it's busy. The burritos are consistently good. Obviously when you order them as much as I do you notice that maybe it wasnt as good as last time, but I've never had anything bad and always leave happy.

Good place, we only go to 2 places for Mexican food, 1 is in Folsom and this place since we live up here, authentic foods fast turn around everytime, easy to get to, indoor or outdoor seating street parking or parking lot, try it. Good stuff.

I am from Southern California and this place was s NOT very authentic when it comes to the food. Ordered the carne asada burrito and the meat had NO flavor. Neither did the rice and beans in it. I added medium salsa to give this burrito some flavor and it didn’t work. Also ordered the fries and they weren’t edible.don’t order the fries period. Gave this place 2 stars because of the decor and cleanliness. But the will not be going back. I should of went to chipotle.

DO NOT GO HERE worst experience ever first of all the cashier was drunk and singing loud and the amount of workers cleaning was very unsettling and as we were trying to eat a worker sweeping literally hit my foot trying to get under our table I had to tell him to back up. The food was absolutely terrible meaning I literally was unable to finish the burrito and I told my kids to stop eating. I felt extremely disrespected and the prices are beyond ridiculous, I understand there are not many options in El Dorado but for your own sanity DO NOT GO HERE. The corona was good tho That's the only way I can justify the single star review 🙏🏻💯

I love taco's so I thought I'd try their fish taco. The taco tasted like it was fresh out of the freezer, fried and mushy. No flavor and not enjoyable. The chips were not that great either. Worse than the food was seeing their broken and open electrical box that had wires hanging out and inches away from a water spout. If the manager is not aware of the outside dangers which is obvious as you walk into the restaurant gate, I can see why they may not be aware of their food. Or at least, their fish tacos and blah chips. I may be a little harsh but, I'm honest.

I have eaten a lot if Mexican food but for some reason i hated the food in Taqueria i didn’t like anything from their appetizers to the main course just felt like i wasted my money i’d never go back.

Their molcajete's used to be best. I think they are getting cheap. There food is not as good as it used to be. Everything is very bland and someone mentioned that they found half a cockroach in there food. Santa Maria is way better if ur looking for good authentic mexican food.
