Wonderful little restaurant for cyclists (and others) at the beach. Beautiful panoramic ocean view. Only open a few hours in the middle of the day. It's quite small and slow paced. The food is definitely above average for beach fare. My favorite dish is the Caesar salad with the blackened chicken. Their smoothies are also really good.

I loved everything about this place. I would give 10 stars if i could. Lady that took our oder was very patient with us and even helped us about the place too! I would definitely come back here. Highly recommend

Amazing place to have lunch on the beach and you get more then you pay for!

Yum!!!! Of course during at a cafe staring at the ocean is always a good start, but then you taste the food and it's over. A new love affair had begun, the homemade cinnamon roll was to die for. Then I had "The Bowl" breakfast, I can't get over how amazing it was, I'm still dreaming of the next time I can eat it. Prices were reasonable and staff on par. Not a bag thing to say

Really great! Had the best breakfast burrito. Very tasty. And the fruit salad that it came with by itself would have been worth the price of the burrito. Blueberries, cantaloupe, pineapple etc. Also an elevated view of the ocean from their deck. It is very rare to find food places right along the beach like this. Stumbled across this cafe while I was riding my bike. No other restaurants along the beach for miles either way. It is between Marina del Ray and Manhattan Beach. There is some jet airplane noise as they take off a little ways away. But not too bad. Overall a very nice place to have breakfast or lunch!

I didn't get to try out the cafe it was closed I was just up early picked up some scooters and thought I take a few seconds to enjoy the worlds beautiful views. Where the cafe is there's a nice spot to overlooked the beach and this spot even had a handicap access for wheelchairs to get pretty close up the water' as you can see the blue rubber like track going from the end of the concrete ramp to get down to the beach level.parking you pay by hour I believe sometimes it's free but double check on that.

Enjoy the view of the beach and the food. The staff is very friendly and fast with serving your food. After a great bike ride, run or walk. Stop in for a bite to eat. You will not be disappointed!

Love, love, love ESBC! It is one of the best kept secrets. It offers an incredible view of the ocean, good food at very reasonable prices and a chill, quiet vibe. The owner is always there and very accommodating. If I could eat there every day, I would! It's one if my fav haunts. The only thing missing is a mimosa and a liquor license and it would be perfect!

Best turkey/club sandwich I've ever had & A&W root beer in bottle was perfect companion, along with delicious sweet potato fries. With great beach & ocean view from elevated deck, it doesn't get much better than this for a casual lunch & break from beach cycling.

Delicious and affordable, as far as beach food goes! Service was not overly friendly, but quick, and you can't beat the view! Another perk is that dogs are welcome on their outdoor patio seating! (Too bad no dogs allowed on the beach but that has nothing to do with the restaurant.)

The spicy turkey grilled cheese was very tasty. The portions are large and reasonably priced plus the view makes it even better. They clearly need more staff during the lunch rush. There was only one server there and all the tables were full. She did a great job for being stretched thin but an extra person would have made the experience a but snoother.
