Tropical Jerk management you need to be better with your staff. I walked in simply trying to order my food and the girl was so rude and nasty, no smile nothing she looked so angry. The entire time I was there she had an attitude, when my food was ready she said “hello, your food is ready” I told her thank you she walked away. You need to reevaluate your staff especially the people who work in front that socialize with your customers. They need to be more pleasant and welcoming, why would anyone want to continue supporting your business when the customer service is horrible? Please do better with hiring!

If you say hi to them they look at you rudely and won't respond to your greetings, and if you don’t say hi to them they still look at you hateful, they are hateful in treating customers. I figured that they don't deserve niceties, protect your self respect i guess, don't spoil your day from a hateful interaction.

Now I see why people don’t support black businesses, because why was the cashier so rude and unwelcoming. You would have thought I robbed the place and came back to buy said food with the money, or came there begging for some food “like can I have some more please”. People like that with attitude like hers should not be in the service industry much less serving customers upfront, she should be in the back of the house. I almost left the food and the only reason I didn’t was because the other places I went to before were closed, no one deserves that kind of service paying there hard earned money to get bad service and cold food!!!!. Will not be back and I would not recommend. I wanted to say Happy new year but you didn’t deserve it.

The food is horrible. I bought jerked chicken and it had blood in it..wasn't cooked and the rice is really hard. Don't go there please.

On behalf of the Jamaican community this is very disappointing. driving past with my daughter so I sent her to get me something. Apparently this is Callaloo with salt fish 😂. The plate full an oil, corn in Callaloo never heard of this. Let me not forget I only ate two banana because I couldn’t deal with the oil. Very disappointed

The food here is terrible! Do not go here.. I got oxtail and the meat was tough and mainly fat on the bone. The gravy they made for the stew tasted like straight up sugar. I also got jerk chicken. The chicken was so dry that you can break your teeth. Whoever is making to food at this restaurant CANNOT COOK!

Ordered chicken soup and jerk chicken meal. Pure TRASSSSSSSHHHH. Not only was the soup too spicy… must be the scotch bonnet peppers floating in the cup. Also, it was unseasoned and watery. The chicken was nothing but large bones with no meat. The jerk chicken meal was nothing better. Staff have no personality either. They have an attitude when you walk in. It’s like pulling teeth when asking about the specials. I should have walked out without purchasing, but made the purchase anyway. Big regret. Will not return

I Went 09-19-2025, Ordered Jerk Pork with Rice n Peas.. The pork was dry! I could barely eat it..But the worst thing of all. The RICE was like I was chewing on uncooked rice..almost broke a tooth. First and Last time I’m going here.

The jerk pork had an excessive amount of bristled hair still on it… turned me off from it completely. I’ll probably never eat Jerk pork again. The cashier seemed extremely bothered and miserable.

Food is good but this is my second time coming here and I ask for sweet sauce and they don’t put it on there but when I ask for it on the side they want to charge 54 cents. They put the food in the bag so quick to where you have to take everything out to check it

Disappointed. My first time there, Jamaican style food is ok. Had some tables to dinner in, mostly take out. Street parking. Just disappointed, Ordered a jerk chicken, was given just bake chicken. And found some steel wool sponges on the food. I have to throw it out. I wouldn't come back.

Simple dish oxtails peas and rice veggies don’t taste the love... Rice under cooked oxtails could have been cooked down a bit more before serving cabbage good... also think it would be helpful to customers if prices were listed
