I just want to give a big shoutout to Joe Garcia at Whataburger. When I came in with an order that the drive-thru had messed up, he took the time to really listen to me and apologized for the mistake—even though it wasn’t his fault. That meant a lot. Joe handled the situation with such professionalism and kindness. He’s the reason I’ll be coming back to this location. Honestly, if you ask me, he deserves a leadership role. The way he handles customers is excellent—Whataburger is lucky to have him!
Cleo is amazing! She served us at 1am when they were slammed and provided exceptional service. As a hospitality professional, I was impressed. Cleo is a wonderful asset to this team!
Late night go-to place! This IS particularly busy on Friday nights, but the staff is typically friendly. When ordering Chicken bites expect to wait 4-8 minutes as they cook to order. Fries are never a let down as is their Sweet Tea! Overall, good place for a bite to eat.
Carolina is probably the best manager I’ve ever come across I ordered my food, never received it, I went inside to talk to them about it and they took care of me right away, never seen customer service like this. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU WANT SOME WHATABURGER, THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.
The food and the service was definitely on point tonight. If you read my reviews you know I ask for my food to be cooked fresh. That way it's piping hot when it comes to me. Had a burger and it was good. A good old fashioned cheeseburger with mayonnaise on one side, mustard on the other, With extra pickles. Hmmm, Ummm...Good! The service was excellent, they were working hard in that kitchen, making those orders. Everyone was courteous, true service with a smile. Have a great night everyone.
Chris was so sweet when he helped me. I had multiple orders for my job but he was very patient and a great cashier! Every person on their staff in the morning had a smile cheek to cheek and there was a great holiday spirit in this location with their decor :)
The food is always good, it's Whatebeuger...LOL. The service here is iffy, people can be pretty rude, but mostly they're friendly. I had an issue where they left out half of my order, so I had to go back. The manager not only made it right, she remade my entire order because everything I did get had gotten cold. I didn't ask for, or expect that, but she insisted. I go to this Whataburger all the time, and I really appreciate that kind of service.

I'm never one to leave reviews but I went through the drive-thru recently and they forgot one of the sandwiches and as I was about to turn onto Plano Rd. and leave the plaza outright these crazy beautiful people sent someone to run to my car to give me the sandwich. That's completely insane, unnecessary, and awesome.

Yesterday I had the very best Whataburger I have ever eaten. It was exactly as I ordered it. Contents were fresh and flavorful. I have been eating Whataburgers since the franchises opened. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Went to another Whataburger up the road off of Plano rd and they gave we a cold coffee with a leaking cup. I didn’t notice til I was down the street. I stoped at this location and they were so kind and got me a fresh cup on the house! Would definitely return to this location since both are on my way to school

And the young lady outside taking orders messed up and gave me all fries when I asked for onion rings on one order..but I called back and spoke to Kevin and he apologized and told me to come back and as always he would take care of me.. he's a keeper.good customer service is hard to find. We went inside to eat this evening and have 3 very active kids. Maddison was our cashier, she was super patient and helpful with us all. She even directly let my 3 year old order and gave her all of her options for her kids meal! They brought all of our food directly to the table and provided all condiments/napkins. The food was hot and delicious. The service alone will keep bringing us back to this specific location!

Just got to Texas, and we were craving some whataburger. Phenomenal fast food experience. Joe took care of us, and let me tell you his attention to detail, his kindness and professionalism shows how proud, grateful and happy he is to be working here. It’s not often you find someone like him often. Even after we sat to enjoy our meal, he came by twice to check on us… go show Joe at this location in Richardson TX on Plano rd and belt line some love, man deserves a raise

This location is always great, they have it down to an art. Even with covid, they never skipped a beat.. they assessed it and quickly came up with a fix by opening more drive thru lanes and having more employees available to fulfill orders in a timely manner. With all this craziness, in the last year, they have yet to get our order incorrect. I applaud their attitude and commitment to their costumers during this crazy time. Any if they can do it during these times, that speaks volumes on how they run under normal conditions. A+ rating, I have and will continue to go back for a great, quick meal!! #WB4L 😉👍
The big plus was I asked the nice lady who brings condiments to the table if the had lemon juice packets - which I could see none on her tray. She asked “how many?” I said 3. She brought me four. It made their good tea that much better. And I needed all 4 packets.

OCTOBER 7, 2025 The Manager Arely C took my order. I had a Free Bacon Wrangler Double Burger with the purchase of a Medium Fries & Medium Drink through the app. Arely approved my request to substitute milk instead of the Md. Drink. No problem toasting the buns, and giving me additional Veggies (Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles, and Onions) on the side for no extra charge. Elijah brought me my food. Juan & Jerrol helped. Everything tasted fresh & was delicious. Good food + good people who work here + good customer service = 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google Reviews! OCTOBER 23, 2025 UPDATE I had an email offer for a choice of FREE Onion Rings or French Fries. I had a problem importing it into the App. King H., who took my order, and the Manager Jack helped resolve that issue. I also ordered through the App a DMCH WB JR. Erik brought me my food, and Eliva checked to make sure everything was good. It was. Thank you all!
Such nice people. My grandson dropped his shake and they not only replaced it but smiled thru the whole mishap. They made an embarrassing situation not so bad. Kudos to the assistant manager on Labor Day duty for his friendly and cheerful manner. Thanks for being a great team.

We (28 people) had to wait to get all our food; they tried their best with the drive-through customers.
Not bad just avoid ordering inside at night. They take care of the drive tru before the customers inside had to wait 25 minutes for tenders while the drive tru was cleared out. Only takes 6 minutes to cook tenders.
This location is nice for their self-serve fountain station. Not recommended for a fast meal place! Takes 5-10 minutes to get your regular food

We live around the corner from this Whataburger, so it’s our go-to for a quick lunch. Today, I craved something specific: the Patty Melt Jr., a smaller, just-right version of the classic. It’s listed on the website, so I texted my sweet husband my order and off he went. Cue the comedy: three employees insisted the Patty Melt Jr. didn’t exist, even as my husband showed them the item on his phone. They tried to swap in a Whataburger Jr. instead (not the same thing, y’all). Thankfully, he checked the receipt before leaving and caught the mix-up. They remade the order, and justice.. and lunch, was served. The sandwich itself? Delicious. Exactly what I wanted: melty, savory, and not too heavy. But the journey to get it felt like a side quest in a fast-food RPG.
My co-workers wanted to try this spot. I've been to other locations, so I was down to take them there. The restaurant is clean, and the service was quick. I shared a bacon burger with a co-worker, and it was good. The fries were hot. My other co-workers thought the burger was just ok. Overall, I'd still stop by here or other locations.

We've gone to this location plenty of times and have almost always had an issue with our order. Either missing an item or an incorrect item. The food is always consistent with Whataburger flavors which is good! Except our latest experience trying the chili cheese fries-cold fries with a tiny amount of cheese and chili, burnt chili bits.

The food is usually pretty good, though depending on your order if the wrong fry cook is working you can be disappointed. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired and as a result there are frequently employees on their phones watching videos without headphones, and dirty tables.

Just not what it used to be. 90% of the time: fries are soggy, chicken is cold and cooked and hr ago, burgers have too much ketchup/mustard and cold meat, etc. It is breakfast only for me
All my life I've gone to Whataburger, it's a Texas staple. And of all of them, this one in particular stands out. The abysmally long wait times are ridiculous. It's supposed to be FAST food, and you're known for burgers and fries. To me, that suggests that when I order a burger and fries, that I'll get it quickly. But every time, it's the same thing.
Let's be honest. Whataburger is great. Management in the evenings awful. The adult manager there, awful at her job. Since she's taken over (I noticed when ordering online the name changed on day when choosing the location) my prefer had been correct as often as it should be wrong. She's very complacent. As far as the entitled young lady (if you can even say that) that takes over for complacency at 6pm, she's even worse. As I don't even think she's out of highschool and her attitude reflects that of a person that lacks any definitive skills. It's unfortunate. When you purchase something you expect people to get out right at last a few times. Nope, that's an expectation you reserve for more intelligent people. I wish I didn't have to point this out. But putting things in a bag from a list someone writes down for you is probably the most basic of skills you could possess. That's wishful thinking here. The new 18 is definitely 26 (is they're lucky). No accountability. And yes I'm complaining about Whataburger. It took me almost a year to complain. I've simply had enough of people being this bad at their job for so long. Do better. It isn't hard.
Ate inside, the toast double cheeseburger was very salty. Don't have high blood pressure or sugar, but eating a burger like that will give it to the! Not hurting, no feelings. I took it home and trashed it. Someone is have on the salt or soduim

Made my order on line to pickup in store. Arrived found my drinks on the rack where they put the Togo orders. Waited a few minutes then went to counter to ask about my food and they told me that an uber driver has already picked the food up and taken it. I told them it was an online order to be picked up by me in store. The lady behind counter told me no it was an uber driver. I NEVER USE UBER OR AND OTHER DELIVERY SERVICE! They proceeded to ignore me. When I finally got someone’s attention I asked if they were going to remake my order. A different lady said yeah. She was short with me as if I was trying to pull a fast one on them or something.

I ordered in the drive thru and the order taker was polite & quick to respond. There are two lanes, one for paying with cash and the other for paying with a card. I noticed that My burger was made incorrectly after I had driven off and was almost well into my drive home. I had to turn around to get this corrected and the order taker was still polite. After my burger was fixed, the person that handed it off to me asked me to check that the new burger had all of the correct ingredients that I wanted. Besides this, the food was fresh & hot! Update: 3/2/25: I had to drop stars for this visit. A customer walked in to pick up an online order for teas. He was served newly poured teas, but his online order was already waiting. The worker took those old teas and poured them back into the tea containers. DO NOT ORDER TEAS FROM THIS LOCATION because this may be the norm since she did it right in front of me as there was no care in the world.

Terribly slow. Not even busy. Been sitting here 20 minutes waiting for food to come to the table. Nearly every table is filthy. Trash on benches and floors. At least 6 employees sitting around doing NOTHING. Slowest employee ever running the register. This place used to be good, I just deleted my 5 star review from a couple years ago. Horrible customer service I ordered a burger with cheese which it didn't have. I went back through the drive through and was asked if I wanted the burger to be re-made or just the slice of cheese. I got to the window and was a handed a slice of cold cheese wrapped in a piece of paper. No apologies for the wrong order or anything. I actually gave the food back and requested a refund with still no apology from the manager. I love whataburger, but this is the WORST location in town. I hate what this place does to the whataburger name. If someone went to this location as their first whataburger experience, they would likely never return. They continually screw up my order here, and they can NOT get the double drive thru correct to save their lives! I included a picture of my latest experience in the right lane drive thru. Also, I reached out to the corporate office and was ignored.

Rude young Hispanic lady at the drive through. We only ordered fries and got them in 5 minutes and there were two cars parked in front of us (past the window) waiting on their food. We sat there for maybe 10-15 minutes and could not leave due to the cars in front of us. After waiting for 10 mins fine it take, politely asked the Hispanic girl at the window if she could ask the to move up a bit as we already for our food 10-15 minutes ago. She raised her voice and said “wait they are waiting on their food” and closed the window. Terrible customer service. I’ll never be back to this branch.
I went through the drive through and my order was wrong and it was overpriced. I ordered the number one with cheese. I was charged for a double with cheese. I asked if they had changed prices and the guy said no, when I got home, it's when I realized I paid for a double meat, double cheese burger that was not any good. It was awful. If you go through the drive through you will get cold, hard, old food and 9 out of ten times it will not be the way you ordered it. We had to go in twice bc the line outside was too long and they STILL messed up the order from inside the store
I come this location for my breakfast 2 ,3 times a week every time great service warm welcome but today Manager joselyn has very bad so mean and rood no response busy talking to others employees in Spanish customers don't pay attention any customers next time if she is working I'm not place any order she needs to learn some manners how to talk and respect and quit talking in Spanish at front of customers I hope Whataburger teach her how to talk and respect.

Manager Jorge would not honor the coupon that was emailed to me for the: Free Chicken Sandwich with the purchase of a order of fries and drink. When I clicked on the link in the email it would show zero in the offers. So he acted like I had already used the offer some time before. Well this is the last straw with Chicago Burger for me. Since the sale of the chain it has only gone down hill. Also they need to STOP THE FALSE ADVERTISING IN THE WINDOWS. IT IS NOT FAMILY OWNED ANY LONGER. TAKE THE DARN SIGNS OUT OF THE WINDOWS.
Went there on 1/28/26 around 715pm ordered 2 #2s and 1 bubble meat burger and my drink cup had hair in it asked for cheese on 1 of the #2s and they gave me a slice of cheese over the counter which I payed for and then tried to keep my 76 cents..asked for the manager and he asked Why....no one came out...not good service will not return.......
I have been going to this Whataburger for about a year. Usually I get really great service with really great food, but tonight I was left with such a bad taste in my mouth not only from the food but from the employees. Now I am not writing this to harp on the underpaid and overworked employees, but the way I was talked to by a TEAM LEADER was shocking. It started when I tried to order my food, halfway through my first sentence this lady is yelling at me through the drive through yelling she cannot hear me. You either couldn't hear me because A) You are not listening. B) Your volume on your headset is low. C) You want to get in an argument with me. And as someone who worked for Whataburger and was a Team leader for 2+ years, I've learned when you're interacting with someone who just wants to argue and fight, just ignore them and that's what I did. I paid in cash they refused to give me a receipt and slammed the window on me. After checking my bag there were multiple items missing as well as a wrong flavored milkshake. Nonetheless I went back in and got it fixed, I know these reviews are maybe glanced at by the General Manager, but some serious auditing needs to be done for the night shift, I get it is a struggle to find people to work the 11pm-7am but this location has promoted someone to a leadership role and they can barley handle there own emotions. I do hope this review sparks some kind of change because I loved going here but after tonight, never again. Bad food, bad service, bad attitude. Do better.
Had a terrible experience lastnight gave me the wrong flavor of shake and wouldn't add chicken strips to my order
1/27 at 9:30pm I went to the drive through and had to repeat my order 4 times because the ones working the drive through kept laughing screaming and playing. It got so bad I just waited for them to stop playing. Something told me to take my order somewhere else because I was worried it would be messed up and it was. We ordered 3 meals and all 3 were wrong. Even the burrito was rock hard. Im so irrated with wasting money because obviously the manager wasnt there.
I waited outside in the drive-thru for 20 minutes, and my food was never delivered. I went inside the restaurant to pick up my order, and they had already prepared it, but it was cold. I think they prepared it on time but didn't want to deliver it. I asked them to remake it, and then my order was incomplete; I was missing a side of fries. My food was finally delivered at 1:20 AM.
I just called to let them know that whoever was taking orders messed mine up. They told me I had the wrong address. I used to work there so I know that I did in fact have the correct address. The manager Nadia ( couldn’t understand her that well so this is what I got from what she told me her name was) was rude. Her tone was very poor. She sounded annoyed with me. Definitely not going there again.
Twice in a month they messed my simple order up and didn't give me a receipt so I can complain online. Since this place has gone to a different corporation it's just been downhill over the years.
Just got an order for drive three went to eat the burger and out cam the bug. Yes a bug I did not want to eat here again. On top of that they over charge you three time for something that you did not get. Watch your order and your food. I would say they need health department in here with that bug I. The food.
Today, I had the worst experience at this fast food place ever. The food was cold, the milkshake was horrible, and the french fries were really soggy. And don’t even get me started on the service. The cashier was rude and was arguing with me for no reason when I was trying to get my order. They didn’t greet us at all, they just asked us straight away what we wanted in a rude attitude.
My sandwich was hard as a brick on the bottom. Same exact thing happened yesterday and I had to go back and the guy made me another one with a freshly made biscuit. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Why use old bread??? Whoever is preparing the food knows that it’s old. Just stop using it and throw it out and cook fresh bread daily. I don’t mind waiting but to be inconvenienced by having to turn around and go back really sucks. This is in no way a reflection of the customer service that’s always very good.
