This place was clean as a whistle and the fresh flowers were an exceptionally nice touch. I love that you have dining room attendants. There was an older lady, Francis maybe, who was so friendly and helpful, just keeping everything clean.

Food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly. I have visited numerous times along with my wife and we have always been satisfied. The fact that this location is always so busy is a testament to its quality. I have no issue waiting for my food during peak dining times as the employees are always working efficiently to overcome being slammed with multiple requests.

To say this is a typical Chick-fil-A sounds like an insult, but that's actually a compliment. I don't know how every one I have been to has been so great! The customer service is amazing, and I would go there just for that! The food is amazing to, though. I am a loyal customer, and it is hard for me to pass by this place without stopping.

I was in the middle of a rough migraine and having trouble figuring out the menu despite having been here before! My brain was just not on all cylinders. Both of the gentlemen helping me were just that: gentlemen. I applaud your staff. The great food, atmosphere and order brought to the table was just what the doctor prescribed. Highly recommend.

I'm beginning to think that Chick-fil-A never messes anything up. Chick-fil-a sauce is good on pretty much everything, although the food is fabulous without it. Our food has always been at least moderately warm, if not hot. I have a hard time choosing between their lemonade, sweet tea and iced coffee, so I sometimes get two drinks! Service is always friendly. We miss the playground, but all great things are worth waiting for!

When you pull in and see how busy they are you say, oh great here goes my whole lunch break. NOPE! In and out with a great food and great service. I have never had a problem at any Chick-fil-A, but this one has been amazing (I'm working in Roanoke and have eaten here 4 days in a row lol) and has definitely made my pregnancy craving happy!

Customer service is always wonderful at Chick-fil-A. I use their app all of the time and it’s such a wonderfully efficient and smooth process. I’ve had them forget some items in the past but it happens so rarely and they generally display enough care, that it doesn’t bother me when it happens, we’re all human. The app sends push notifications all of the time about “rewards” and thank you’s from the company. I’ve never had an even close to negative experience with Chick-fil-A. Many other companies should follow suit.

Truck needed water from a small leak.. luckily the engine never overheated. They supplied and filled up the gallon water jug 3 times, as I took a gallon for the road. Made it back 2.5 hours away without adding anymore water or having any other issues. I greatly appreciate the overwhelming kindness!! 3 different people/employees helped me, for 3 gallon different refills as they were so so busy. One was named Able and I didn't catch the other 2 names... but may God bless them on there journey through life... As all of my needs were far beyond there job description..... and they did it with a smile, with the words it's ok... as I was stunned with the amount of kindness...I started to wonder 🤔, Is this Chic Filet in some 1970's time portal... as you don't see this nowadays.

Food, staff, cleanliness, etc. are always consistently top notch. They are busy because they are so good. It doesn't matter how long the line (inside or drive-thru) is, I don't think I have ever waited in it more than 5 minutes . Sometimes the owners are working, but they are as friendly and humble as the rest of the staff to the point that if you didn't know otherwise you would just assume they are another employee.

Chick-fil-A is a great place to eat for chicken. Some of them are better than others and have great customer service. Other aren't very caring of the customers and do not listen very well, when you place your order. This one was an excellent Chick-fil-A.

Always fast friendly service with a smile from all the employees. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I really like how organized this chick-fil-a is. Especially when going through the drive thru. They direct which car is to go next and eliminates cars trying to fight for position.

Visited this morning, and while busy, not crazily so. The food was out quickly and was delicious. This location is fairly large and was well-staffed and extremely clean. I'm not on this side of town often, but may have to drive out of my way, simply for the cleanliness.

I’ve ordered and picked up carry out orders for myself and a group of my coworkers a couple of times at this Chick-fil-A. During lunch today, I noticed a girl who was sorting bags and drinks for carry out remembered that I pick up for myself and other coworkers. She already had our food grouped together and bagged. She remembered who I was and knew what to do. I think this indicates how she cares for employees and it was great to see while also saving me time. I didn’t have the chance to see the girls name, she is always sorting bags and drinks over in the corner where the carry out sign is whenever I come in. When management reads this, please tell her thank you for me for her hard work and providing the best service.

Google Maps made it a little confusing getting in/out. I was already across the street at the stop light. My Wife and come to this location a lot and everything is always perfect! We stopped by today with 2 orders, one through carry out and one curbside. We parked and I went in and grabbed my order while they brought our other order out. I typically will go inside of a restaurant to see what the atmosphere, cleanliness, and environment is like. Since I’ve been here a few times, I decided that this was my decision day. Would I give this location 4 stars or 5? I walked in and immediately, the atmosphere was very welcoming. Even though they were super busy! I walked up and before I had to say anything my order was in my hands and ready to go. Everything was correct and hot! Also, I didn’t get the girls name, but she was very nice and had great customer service! Shortly after, I waited for them to bring our other order out. This is what sealed my decision. Catherine and Rachel walked out with out food. (Sorry if I messed up the spelling) They handed us our food and were so very polite and respectful. Come to find out - it was Rachel’s first day! Overall a great experience and being a former Restaurant General Manager I’d like to say - Catherine is doing an excellent job at training and providing the exact customer service your company is looking for. On top of that, she was respectful and didn’t seem bothered when I asked for her and Rachel’s name. Definitely an asset to the team you don’t want to lose!

This madhouse of a parking lot and drive thru was handled quickly and professionally with a smile and "My pleasure"! My first time going to this CFA at this location and I was surprised how well masked the chaos on the hill is hidden! The food: The Grilled Chicken Sandwich is beautiful to look at, but the chicken was totally flavorless without some kind of sauce. With just the tiniest bit of salt and some honey mustard, this was a tasty sandwich, with lettuce and tomato. Nicely served in an environmentally friendly box to protect the delicacy of this sandwich. The original Fried Chicken Sandwich was a flavor bomb, proving that seasoning and fat add so much flavor. A very plain looking sandwich only adorned with a couple of pickles, this pickle juice brined fillet was juicy and so tasty. I totally understand the attraction to this simple CFA original sandwich! CFA has been approached by numerous other retailers on how to handle crowds efficiently, and they do it so well! I will definitely return to this busy, frantic and wonderful experience on the hill! 4/15/23 Returned early for lunch on a Sat, and parking lot was full but drive thru was clear, so ordered thru kiosk. Had some free food coupons which had to be taken at the food pick up. Took a few minutes to get these run up correctly, but staff were very friendly and did not make me feel like I was trying to use faulty coupons! Food was good, but one original sandwich had two lonely see through pickles, not enough to taste. I got lots of sauces when I asked, and everything was clean! Got an extra sandwich for Sunday, the day they're closed, in case of withdrawal! (See photo)

I can never find a negative thing to say about this Chick-fil-A. The staff is super friendly, the food is always fresh, as is evident by the line of cars stretching across the parking lot and out into the street nearby. The employees are always good about getting and keeping the line moving. So even with a line of vehicles that stretches to the road, the wait is never extremely long. Every fast food restaurant should take lessons from Chick-fil-A!

This has got to be one of the friendliest places to go and eat. The great thing about chick filet is that it is standard across-the-board no matter what location you go to. They are generally well run very polite with food that is slightly overpriced but is worth it when you figure in the good service and well trained staff. On this particular visit my wait was abnormally long. This seems to be a pattern when ordering take out trays for pick up. This is certainly an area they could work on. Other than that keep up the great work and good food. You are an example to the fast food industry on how things should be done!

We came around 2pm on a Tuesday so I was surprised to see how long the line of cars was. My husband went inside thinking it would be faster, but even though the line of cars outside moved very slowly, it took a long while inside as well. This Chick-fil-A seems to not have the expert efficiency that many other locations have perfected. I ended up having to take my kids to the bathroom, and it was tolerably clean but also not quite the high standard I've seen at other locations. I will probably try to go to the one by Valley View Mall next time I'm in the area, but this location was not "bad" in any way.

If you want overall consistent quality and food this is the place to go. The nuggets and sandwiches almost always hit the spot. Service is very good and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you receive. This location did not disappoint today; however they should make a few minor changes to be more like the Salem location. At Salem there is usually an employee who comes by your table to check if everything is ok and if you need a refill. Little things like this make a big difference...

Nice for fast food. Quick service but we weren't there during the lunch rush. Fairly clean restaurant. Hard to see from the highway; if you don't know where it is it's kinda hard to find. Turn left off of 220 like you're going to Home Depot and it's on the left. Food was hot and on par with what you'd expect, in and out was easy with plenty of parking.

Frequent visitor to this location, so normally they are the best. Curbside is fast and always right. This last visit, I waited for 15 minutes after order was placed, and then when order arrived, my fries were cold. Still will go again, just disappointed.

So everything seemed normal. We ordered our food. Took a seat our food was brought to the wrong table that table dug throug and touched every article of food. Then it was brought to our table. We immediately took it to the counter and ask to have it remade and they looked at us like we were crazy. The cashier gave the girl with Down Syndrome a hard time like it was her fault. It's not her fault that the other table dug through all the food. Also the lady at the counter Cynthia was extremely rude

Usually I am very pleased but when I went this week they got my order wrong which I didn't discover until I got home. I was really upset. I had ordered 2 sandwiches, one for me and one for my husband. Plus 2 drinks which I did get. When I got home, I had chicken nuggets, fries and a cookie. My hubby ate but I was so mad I couldn't eat. Oh well, certainly not a big deal in the grand scheme of things

Great place to eat, I would give 5 stars but the location is horrific. The food itself and service is always A+! but trying to navigate around this maze is a nightmare. I would recommend using the Chick-fil-A app and parking at Home Depot for a carry out meal. Otherwise you will be stuck in traffic for a good while. If you can avoid the rush times you will be fine but otherwise to go in and enjoy a meal. Otherwise I would recommend carry out

This was the first Chick-fil-A I've been in that the customer service wasn't friendly. The lady manager that took our order and was snappy and short with me when I couldn't understand what she was asking me. This won't stop me from going there, but I will make sure I don't have to deal with her in the future. And as always, the food was excellent.

When one is paying $14 for a fast food meal, the fries should be filled all the way up. The employees were nice and polite.

I have now visited 2 chick filets and found the waffle fries inedible due to heavy salt. It happened at this location and Valley View so I think that this is a new seasoning trend. I will not be ordering waffle fries again

The past four times I have been here the fries have been only HALF or LESS than half full .. the chicken nugget box also had the tiniest pieces of chicken and pieces of fried breading that had fallen off that were counted as "nuggets".. for years I loved this location but idk what has happened the past few months...

Very disappointing visit - fries were lukewarm, sandwich tasted like it had been bagged for awhile. I don't expect great food when I stop here, but relatively decent and edible would have been acceptable. Pluses: service was great, and the iced tea was excellent - they did get the half sweet-half unsweetened ratio correct.

First time ever getting an incorrect order from the drive thru at this Chick Fil A. Ordered strips and received a fruit bowl, which I had to take back inside to get my strips. As I waited for about 15 minutes, 3 more people came in with incorrect orders to be rectified. They did ask me if I wanted to keep the fruit but I declined. It wasn't nearly as busy as I've seen it but it was for sure disorganized.

I am disputing a charge of $11.12 from Chick-fil-A on May 6, 2025. I ordered a Grilled Bowl with Egg Whites and a Large Vanilla Iced Coffee at the Southern Hills location. My order was missing the egg whites. Google had provided the incorrect store number. I contacted the Valley View location, where manager Della informed me I could return for a refund. Once off from work, I returned to Southern Hills; the manager was hostile and only refunded me $5.53. Given the inconvenience and poor service, I request a full refund of $11.12. I will be taking this matter up with my bank.

Two orders in one week were missing an item . You're supposed to check the receipt with the contents of the bag and use a larger bag more spaces necessary which in this case seem to be the reason why your employee didn't pack the bag with the item that was missing. I'd like a reply to why there are continuous constant errors at this particular location.

I hate to say it about a Chick-fil-A, but this one was not up to par on Saturday. It was around 4 pm so a slower time for the restaurant. The women's bathroom was disgusting and definitely wasn't being checked or cleaned throughout the day. We also ordered our food inside to go with a milkshake and key lime drink. We got our food quickly, but waited 15+ minutes for the drinks. Normally no big deal, but as we are waiting we see staff heading over to the key lime machine and getting their own drinks ahead of ours being completed.

My daughter is 8 and loves chic fil a so we frequent often. Generally it's awesome food is good but is expensive but you pay for what you get. I meet manager Mike Hutton today I wasn't very friendly. My daughter orders a combo and gets a water. Than I order my combo which i ordere a large upgrade but when he is making drinks I seen he made to mediums so i said hey can I get 2 sodas since I felt like I paid for 2 anyways. He said he could ring me up for one and I asked him if I ordered a water would you charged me? He than said you bought a water with your combo!?!?!?! Still very unfriendly manager Hutton. Than I replied he would be okay. I left and went to the restroom and the way out to my seat I watched almost play through two guest with the trash cans he was taking to the back which I replied to the guest that he was having a bad day. Mike Hutton is not held up to chic fil a standards

Way too busy for that small of a location. Even if you order curbside you can’t physically get to the store. I will never order again on a Saturday night. It’s too unsafe coming from Roanoke when the lines are backed up from Franklin County. I canceled my order and went to Valley View and had no problems. Should really consider finding a new location and have more employees if you’re going to stay this busy. Y’all squeezed this location in a tiny area.

Just had the worst experience of my life at this Chick-fil-A went through the drive-through got three chicken tenders was told they weren’t ready. Had to go around and park and waited 23 minutes and still then I had to call inside to get them to bring it to me and nothing no free sandwich no offered to pay my meal nothing Got home it was ice cold Shouldn’t someone have checked that?

Does Chick-Fil-A need some operational help. They need to slow down and pay attention to what they're doing. Two errors on one simple order. Reason for a drive-thru is to stay in your vehicle we had to go in twice to get errors corrected. We got a I'm sorry only from the manager. We did let her know that she is correct they are sorry this is not a Chick-fil-A

Pulled into drive thru with my 10 ft trailer. Person taking order was very nice then a young woman wearing a blue shirt walked by my vehicle and without stopping told me they don’t normally allow trailers in drive thru and next time I need to come inside. Very limited parking there, no signs saying no trailers in drive thru.

Girl with hat was rude. Worst breakfast i received from this location. Ive had better from bojangles!

(For context, they were not busy, I was literally the only car in the drive through.) I'm not sure what's happening to this place but twice now I've gone here in the past month and they've screwed my order up. I get home today, open my bag and they put no fries in there. So scammed me yet again out of something I paid for. Get your stuff together.

This specific location is constantly rude. Their drive thru scanner has not been working for at least 2 weeks. So they won't accept app payments. When I went inside today & asked to speak with a manager, I was told they "don't prioritize telling people at the drive thru" according to the "manager" which is ridiculous since you can pay with the app. They are also not telling people they CAN pay with the app inside. When I asked why they won't tell people they CAN pay with the app inside, the "manager" cut me off "You don't need to be rude, you don't need to be rude. Do you just wanna pay?" First, why was your FIRST reaction as a "manager", because a Leader, you are not, was to tell me "we don't" instead of, "Oh! I am so sorry. Yea, unfortunately....." You, "manager" are escalating this by not first activity recognizing there is a problem, true or not. Second, why did you immediately jump to "you don't need to be rude" when I was calmly asking a question, looking for an explanation as to why the service is subpar. Third, walking away from an upset customer, saying "Do you just wanna pay", again, is disrespectful &, haha, rude. Customers, are why we have jobs. You do not need to agree, or believe "The customer is always right" because they aren't. But you sure as crap don't automatically jump to disrespectful hot headed responses. I was a store manager for a very high end retail company. For over 15 years I have been trained in specific customer service skills & de escalation. I was NOT being rude, & do not appreciate being told I was when i was just trying to figure out why they're not providing the best & proper service to ALL of their customers. Because I can not be the only person trying to pay with the app. In the drive thru. Maybe post a sign if it's that inconvenient? I give credit where credit is due, ask the Burger King on Orange Ave. I also give feedback when it's owed. Asking questions is a form of feedback. If you can not accept feedback, you should not work with the public. I was laughed at by associates when I refused to pay another way at the drive thru. Prior, during an attempted curb side pick up that was canceled due to rain, they continued to run orders outside but I was not able to receive mine. When I went inside, a staff member made eye contact but ignored me & when she finally did ask what the name on my order was, all she did was look at the screen & walk away. She did not check on my order. Chic fil a is basically the only chicken my autistic child will eat & now I have money sitting on the app I refuse to use & it can not be refunded because according to customer service, this location REVERSED MY ORDER SO THEY CANT TRACK THAT I WAS THERE. While Chic fil a in general is fine, this location has ruined all of them. I do not & will never, recommend going to the Southern Hills location to anyone. Customer service at MCDONALD'S is better then this location. Which is incredibly sad considering it's MCDONALD'S.

4 times in a row now order has been incorrect here. Twice in person and twice through door dash. The two in person we were in the drive through and sounded like it was kids who was taken the order and you could hear them joking and playing and when we would say clearly what we wanted they would confirm something totally different while talking and joking. I understand having fun at work but then when it causes you to constantly mess up maybe you should focus. This one is right near our home but going to start going to another one because this one and the staff they have is going down hill unless they start paying attention.

I just went through drive thru and they gave me 4 chicken minis with only 3 chicken nuggets smh how do you give 3 chicken minis when I ordered 4. Now im all the way down the road and dont have time to turn back smh
