I went to the drive-thru, the food is always delicious, the prices are great and the employees were super professional, thoughtful and sweet. I will definitely go back. I just wish we had a Sonic in North Greece.
Went through drive through line when a girl name leehia took my order she was very respectful and very nice she recommended me a smasher witch I got witch was delicious and a slushie food came fast and she ask to give a review will be here again thanks leehia your awesome
Had to wait in the drive thru a little longer than expected but the food was fresh and hot when we got it. The service was friendly and courteous.
Stopped for a late dinner, and was pleasantly surprised! The staff was friendly and the food was SUPER fresh! Fries were nice and crispy, and the PB milkshake had perfect flavor! Would definitely stop here again!
We had stopped coming here for so long because the service was horrible. Probably the worst I had ever seen at fast food. Well, we were so pleasantly surprised today on 9/5/25!!! Chad, the new DSM, was amazing and it was a 10/10 experience. So excited I can get diet cherry limeades again!!!!! .
Haven't been to a sonic in forever. Got a slush for my little one and a corn dog and got the garlic butter bacon burger with tots. Also pickle fries. 10/10 recommend the tots with queso it was freaking GREAT! Especially cuz they were super fresh 😍 my only complaint is they put onion on my burger when I asked them not to which was annoying but food was good otherwise and great customer service
Was there a couple of weeks ago. Very obviously understaffed (I think there were two employees) but the young woman handling the register did such a good job despite taking orders from the drive-thru at the same time as the inside of the place. No issues with our orders. The mix on their soda dispenser was GREAT. Sometimes the soda at fast food places is really syrupy, but this soda was perfect. The floors were super sticky and there was something beeping the entire time, but I was guessing that was related to them being so understaffed. The sticky floor actually helped with how snowy it was outside. It's not gourmet but I've been to way worse Sonics that had more employees working. I got chicken tenders and fries, and got like 3 and a quarter tenders instead of 3. The fries were perfectly seasoned, the chicken was chicken.
Real Respectful Staff. Service is very slow though. Like the older pictures hanging but it's just not a very welcoming/contemporary feel.
A great experience! The staff was very friendly and the food was prepared in decent time. The pricing is pretty average for fast food joints but the Sonic concept is unique. I had the chicken sandwich and the chicken was bigger than my bun! I like how they serve tots here, however there really isn't anything special about them. Would definitely come back again.
I ordered a chili cheese dog with onion rings and a large diet coke. It took a little longer than normal at the window for the drive through, but when my meal came out it was very good. I enjoyed my meal at this location and the staff was very kind to me.

I went here while my wife was at a convention. On t.v. the ad was for a double cheese burger that looked so appetizing. In reality it was smashed together and greasy. I would not go back again.
At this point when I go I know it's going to be a bit of a wait (at least 20 minutes) but I plan for it. I mobile ordered and then waited 10 minutes before I left for the restaurant and then sat in the drive thru for 20 more minutes. All my food was hot, fresh, and tasted perfect. Had absolutely no issues with it! The women working seemed really overwhelmed but trying to hold it together. They were still very nice and I had no issues with them whatsoever. What I take issue with is if this is either corporate or franchise, why is the owners leaving these workers out to the wolves? There's multiple reviews about service taking forever, how stuff doesn't work, etc. either borrow employees from other stores to help this one, or shut this one down and give its employees to another location. A LOT of people in these reviews don't give Grace or have never worked in food service and it shows.
First time at a Sonic, don't think I'll be back, not impressed. You walk across the floors an your shoes stick to the floors. I only had a double cheeseburger that was a nasty prepared sandwich. More ketchup an mustard on the paper wrapping than on the sandwich. Pickles is the only thing I enjoyed. Thought about using the dining area but it would be cleaner an smell better sitting in our vehicle.
Forget about walking in the restaurant. Just hit the drive-thru and be on with your day. Waited like 15 minutes just for someone to come out and get our order. Yes we rung the little door bell on the front desk.
Food was good, fries and tots were hot and good. Husband ordered a foot long but they only rang up a 6in. Very very slow through the drive through, no one was in front of us. Would come back again.

First visited 6 months after 2016 opening here in Henrietta, NY. Slow service there then, and maybe more forgiveable now as post-COVID, but many other disappointments. Tried the app hoping to speed things up for an 430pm ASAP pickup before rush hour started up. Got there within 10 minutes of ordering. Didn't help. App info didn't show correct info regarding stall numbers on ordering screen, so pushed the order button. Finally found a number sticker high up on a pole almost behind the high top of the screen. No answer anyway. Waited 10 mins. Person that pulled into a stall after me also had no response. Finally pulled into the drive-through lane as a couple of cars moved through there as I had a disabled & vulnerable passenger with me. Employee asked me to pull up to the drive-through lane (already there?) but guessing she meant to say drive-through window. Slowly walked out part of my order in a tiny bag, I asked her about the last sandwich that should have been larger than the small bag, and without comment slowly walked back to get it. Handed it to me, again without comment, and not bagged even though package was half cellophane, and open on one end. Ice cream products were great, but 2 of 2 food items are nothing to bring us back, and one roll was near burned (picture is a little darker) and had an unexpected condiment on half. Mayo on a cheese steak? Really? I confirmed not a regular addition on the menu and that I didn't mistakenly tap a radio button, and according to the app it would come in a packet if I did. The app needs work, too, to match the location. Ordering takes you all the way through to check out before it will tell you items are not available at this location. After many attempts to order, this location doesn't serve onion rings, or in any way hot fudge (really?) or caramel. Or maybe just a truly bad way of saying out of stock. Sorry to say it will probably be quite a while before trying again. If ever. And this is from one of whom has been serving the public as worker or management, or as admin to a crew, for 100% of employment history but way too many strikes here from start to finish.
I'm not really sure how this place is still in business when it seems they never have much business. Our latest visit, about 15 minutes in the drive thru with no other cars on the property, left much to be desired. The burgers were very good, they were fresh and worth the wait. The tots were cold, old and tasteless. The onion rings were horrible. I had one bite and nope, they got thrown out. Whether it was old oil or just they way they make them they had a very odd smell and flavor. The shakes have always been good but the food just isn't worth it.
Came here for the first time. It was my daughter's birthday and I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and it was way overcooked the meaylt was too crunchy I barely took 3 bites. Took 20 minutes after going in and getting ignored. Got back into the car to see if drive thru was better and was not. Guy started taking my order just to stop mid order and start taking someone else’s order. Then got to window to have food take 20 minutes and come out gross looking.
Floors were dirty. Employee locked doors while we were in there eating and left to go somewhere. Burgers were ok, mozzarella sticks were cold and hot dog was barely warm. No one to tell since they left. Won't be going back.
No cars were there, but we decided to do drive through. Took around 5 minutes for the food. We ordered a cheeseburger and chicken tenders and tater tots. The chicken tenders tasted rubbery and like old fryer oil. The cheeseburger tasted like it was old and the burger was almost gray in color. The tater tots were okay but still not good. Will never go again.
We love Sonic and visit the ones in Virginia a lot. This Sonic didn't score well with us. They have a new inside dinning area. We walked in and had to wait after ringing a bell. Then, the young lady finally came out and siad that she would be with us shortly. 10 minutes later, she came out. We decided not to order lunch because we didn't want to wait forever. Ordered 2 drinks that took several minutes. The drinks weren't even made correctly.
I stopped here after a dentist appointment with my wife and daughter. The district manager took my order and didn’t put it into the system. As you can imagine my order came out wrong. The food was excessively greasy and the bag was saturated. The place needs tremendous help. As a first time at sonic, it was terrible. Even the food when it came out the right way the second time. It wasn’t anything to brag about. 10 out of 10 don’t recommend.
Service was awful AND slow. We tried the parking drive up to order...after waiting forever they asked if it was a pickup order, when we said no they disappeared. After waiting over 5 min we went to the drive up windows. They took the order right away but waited a long time behind 2 other cars. One item was wrong when we got to windows. They did remake it. The cream slush was good. The caramel milkshake was by far the worst milkshake I ever had! At least a third was gross whipped topping which i scooped off and threw away. The shake itself tasted nothing like icecream and more like they made from canned frosting! The texture was oddly glued and had a cheap overly sweet caramel flavor.I don't know if it was the flavor choice, but I'd never order a shake again after that! Combine that with the very slow service and a wrong item besides I can't recommend it. This is not fast food!

If u are hoping for something quick for lunch go somewhere else. Every time I come here it's 15 to 20 minutes to get my food. Then I have to hurry up and eat because it's my work lunch break. Avoid this place at all costs!! I’m a driver for a third party delivery service. I dread going to this location and I try not to accept orders here. I have been here several times only to be ignored at their drive up windows despite there being no one in the drive thru (we are told specifically not to go inside or use the drive thru). I have waited over 10 minutes each time when I pull in, only to go inside to find out they haven’t even started preparing the order. Half the time it is wrong or they are out of or missing ingredients. The staff is slow and very rude. Customers inside are telling me that they’ve been waiting for 45 minutes for their food. All of this makes it hard to do my job well. Last night the staff were screaming and fighting with each other in the kitchen and every word could be heard in the dining room. It’s totally unacceptable and extremely frustrating to be completely ignored while trying to do my job. I’ve worked in food service for years and I have never seen an establishment run so poorly. The dining room is dirty. The floors are sticky. I can’t believe you’re still in business at this point.
Showed up at 9:58 and waited for 5 minutes. Waited for a response but there was zero response. I had to ask are you even open and all you hear is someone whispering and asked to please speak up cause it was hard to hear because it was raining. Ordered two drinks and a small fry and it literally took 40 minutes in the drive thru. They leave me in silence at the speaker for like 15 minutes and then 30 mins at the window 😭😭 sooo extremely understaffed. At least the employee gave me a peppermint in the bag yassss
This is without a doubt the worst establishment in the entire Rochester area. I ordered 2 shakes and a slushee on the app and pulled into a stall. Estimated wait time on the app was 5 minutes. We waited for 20 without any sort of response at the stall, even with pressing the red button. Decided to try the drive through and the car in front of us took 10 minutes to order and was still ordering before we decided to pull around to a parking spot. We had to talk to the employees through the drive through because one of us in our party has diabetes and her blood sugar was dropping rapidly. They did give us a shake but it was melted with condensation all over it, indicating they had the shake prepared and it had been sitting. We didn’t even get our other two drinks. This experience has turned me off of sonic forever, and I will be disputing this charge with my bank. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.
Walked into Sonic and I assume it was the manager was conducting am interview and when she finished she walked past us.and never said a word and went in the back. Rang the bell twice and waited 10,1/5 minutes and no one came up front. We walked out and went to dairy queen. Will never go to Sonic again.

I've lived in Rochester for almost 2 years and i've never successfully gotten food here. I've waited as long as 2 hours in the parking area, and 45 minutes waiting for someone to take my order at the drive through. I grew up eating sonic in the south and try to go back for a little nostalgia, but alas there seems to be nobody running this store even though it claims to be open. I seriously have no idea how this location is open seeing as they don't seem to do any business??Starting to wonder if it's just a cover for something else.
If I could give 0 stars I would. We waited in line at the drive thru for about 10 min. When it was our turn , she started taking our order then just disappeared and never said anything else. We figured we would just place our order online and wait in the car stall. We waited for another 10 min before I asked the person next to me if they had been helped yet to which they said no, they had been waiting for about 15 min. So we went back to the drive thru because mind you, the lobby is closed. We waited in lime AGAIN. By the time we got our order it was 30 min past the time I ordered and our food was cold, Luke warm at best. It was awful. And I had to continuously remind them of what they forgot while they kept shutting the window on us. I'll never go to this location again.
I did a mobile order, go to the store and pulled in a stall. Waited 15 minutes, pushed the button to see if my food was done because the screen said it was. They said it would be right out. Waited another 15 minutes and they tell me they are out topping for the ice cream. My kids had to use the restroom by this point and the store wasn’t open. After 35 minutes of waiting my food was cold. Super disappointing since I don’t live nearby and made a special trip here.

Do NOT come if your are in a hurry. I ordered a milk shake in the app. Waited 10 minutes in stall #6. Went to the door which was locked (lobby is permanently closed). Called the phone number on the receipt and it went to an answering machine. I had to leave after 20 minutes and the drive thru line was backed up, so I left without the shake. It took another 20 minutes for me to get the charge refunded via text messaging. My daughter has also said that she no longer goes there because the wait is way too long. I can only assume that other locations provide better service.
STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION!!! I have been to this location twice. The first time I went, it took 45 to get a single combo meal. No substitutions, nothing fancy, just a plain ol' number 1 with tots and a cherry limeade. That sucked, i moved on. I went there again today. Never again. The person who took my order could not seem to figure out what I was trying to order. I thought maybe it was something with the comms, so I slowed down and enunciated, and she got pissed at me for that. Whatever, move on. Pull up to the drive through window, and 20 minutes later I got my food, cold. One sauce, we asked for two. No cherry in the cherry limeade. The burger was a greasier than usual mess. It just wasn't a good visit. The entire visit, from the time I pulled into the line, with two cars ahead of me, to the time I left with food was 45 minutes.
I have been here in line for 30 minutes after ordering my food online and still my food has not come out. I called 3 times and no answers. Still cannot even go inside. Wondering how I should get my money back for food I still have no received. This place should be shut down because it operates as nobody is working here....
As others have stated, indoor dining is closed. Which could be seen as an inconvenience but not a big deal. What is a big deal is the very poor customer service! Not an ounce of friendliness from the carhop! I did not care for the food. I might as well have thrown $50 in the trash. My chicken tenders had a grayish appearance. It tasted like cheap and expired frozen tenders. We ordered on the app. The cheeseburger was to have only ketchup and it had all the fixings. I ordered a milkshake and that disappeared from the order. When we inquired about it, the woman in the car behind us yelled "hurry up". That is not on Sonic but just added to a negative experience. I wonder if that woman would have driven away if she was missing part of an order that she waited a while for? The flavored soft drinks were good but not worth the wait and rudeness of the workers. It's sad to see many places that used to be good have gone downhill. Too many places now have workers and managers who just don't care. Rude and inconsiderate seem to be the norm for much of society.
I don’t recommend wasting time here. I had ordered on the app 10 minutes prior to arriving to the restaurant. Check in and waited at the stall for ten minutes and got no updates. Then I went into the drive through and then waited 10 in line, I was one car away from the window, got the food and it was cold and hard. Not only did I waste my time I wasted my money. There are plenty of other fast food restaurants that are actually “fast”, definitely recommend those options before getting Sonic again.
I love sonics food, atmosphere and service most times but this particular location is awful especially in the service dept. There's been twice where my family got fed up with waiting in a stall and just left before even being acknowledged. Counting numerous cars go through the drive through and get their order before anyone even says anything to you is infuriating.
My family and I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this drive-thru location. We initially parked in a stall, waited for 15 minutes, and received no response. We moved to another spot and waited an additional 10 minutes, still with no acknowledgment. Trying the drive-thru lane, we waited behind just two cars for 20 minutes, with only one placing an order. Even at the speaker, there was no greeting after nearly 20 minutes of waiting. When we approached the window, the employees completely ignored us despite our attempts to signal them. Upon entering the establishment, we were told they were severely understaffed. While one staff member was polite and apologetic, another seemed unaware of the situation. We chose not to spend our money here due to the poor service and management issues. It's disheartening to witness such disorganization and inefficiency, especially given the numerous negative reviews. Improvement is urgently needed.
Came here to do a $8 DoorDash order and I had to take a detour cause there was an accident on Jefferson so it took me 10-15 extra minutes to get here from when order was placed; got there order still wasn’t ready, waited 30 minutes in lobby and I was the only one there and there was 5 items in the order. 40-45 minutes, only person there. And 3-4 workers in the back just talking. SMH
Should be a zero OR negative ⭐ review! 🤬 Placed an $18 order via their mobile app... pulled into a stall and checked-in... BUT nothing was ever delivered. After waiting 20 minutes I pressed the "red button" but they refused to answer... SO cashed the location phone number and they refused to answer... SO I approached the lobby, but it was closed... SO tried the carhop service door and found a printed 8.5" x 11" "sign" directing customers to sit in their very long drive-thru. Absolute 🐂💩... that's NOT how you treat customers... ESPECIALLY after taking my money and giving me NO method to get a refund because of an operator who CLEARLY doesn't care about customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND. 😡
Pulled in and pushed the button to order. Message was that the red button was activated and they’d be with us shortly. We waited at least 15 minutes and decided to leave. The windows of the facility are filthy and from the outside appears closed but it was open as we saw others go through the drive thru. Very bad first time going to Sonic. Probably won’t bother again. We’re now at Shake Shack and were able to order as soon as we walked in. Sonic needs improvement.
5 years. 5 years I've been trying to enjoy Sonic food but this location is the worst. Only go here if you have no other options or don't mind waiting a minimum of 30 minutes no matter what you order or how many other customers are there. Extremely rude and lazy staff. The last time I went, it was because someone had given me a gift card for my birthday, otherwise I would have stuck to "never coming back here". This business has to be a front for illegal activity... You can't have service this horrible and still be in business this long. I can almost guarantee nothing will be done except a canned response to this review. Corporate will do nothing either, as long as the franchisee maintains the minimum requirements. Going to Sonic Drive In Henrietta is worse than getting a root canal.
Placed a pick up order 15 min before we got there. Sat for 10 min at a stall. When we pulled in, it was marked “ready”. Then it changed to “delivered”…. Finally after 15 min we go through the drive thru and she just hands us our food with no apology or anything. Extremely lazy. Go work somewhere else if you hate where you work.

Ordered our milkshakes in the app at 7:18pm, checked in and waited for awhile. My husband went in to ask how much longer and NO ONE acknowledged him and saw about 3-5 people in the back and he heard someone ask if someone ever did the shakes for Stall 12. Then my husband returned to the car and told me what he witnessed and waited more. I placed another online order for 2 burgers and fries. Finally at 7:51pm a girl came out with our shakes. I told her we've been waiting for a good 20 minutes and she said nothing. I asked if everything was ok inside. She said "It's alright" and abruptly wakes away. No apology on the wait. And I couldn't tell her we placed another order that we were waiting for. Not sure how long it'll take for them to bring out the 2nd order. The milkshakes are weird tasting, not very cold, soupy on the top but warm on the bottom when you try to suck through the straw. Very odd!
Customer service here is AWFUL. Waited in the drive thru for almost 10 minutes, had to call out before they acknowledged me. Once I ordered and got up to the window to get my drink, I waited for another 20 minutes. Halfway through waiting they came back and asked me what I ordered as they forgot. All I ordered was a milkshake. This is the second time having this experience at this location. I was going the first time was a fluke
Waited over 30 minutes for two meals and shakes. The burgers were absolutely disgusting, straight gas station burgers. The pickle fries were a pile of mush we had to ask for a remake. I'm not sure how it's possible but the shake was warm. The only edible item were the tater tots. Spent almost $40 on everything and an insane wait time when they weren't even busy. There's a reason I've never had sonic until today and I definitely will not be back. Stay away from those gross burgers, such a waste of money it's unreal.
This location is sad.. First of all you walk in there’s no one around, and then the LED driver for the lights above the counter is going bad and all of the LED lights are pulsating like crazy, Someone’s going to have a seizure (replace the $45 driver) than the TV screens that display the menu are broken. And then you order and they don’t have a credit card machine on the front computer so they have to take your credit card into the back to process it. that is so unsafe. I felt very uncomfortable, letting them take my credit card with them. I never leave bad reviews like this. But There is no way this place should be operating like this. The only positive is my food came up quickly and the lady who took my order was very nice. I feel horrible for the employees that have to work like this. Close this place down or do some maintenance and fix it up so that it’s operating like all other sonic locations that I visit. Just not fair to us customers or your employees.
I recently visited a Sonic Drive-In, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I stopped by during what seemed like a dead time with no cars in the lot, expecting the usual quick service Sonic is known for. However, the wait for my order was painfully long. I was told to please hold several times, which took about 5 mins.It took over 10 minutes to get my food, and what’s baffling is that there was only one car ahead of me. The staff seemed overwhelmed or disorganized, and there was no communication about the delay. The lack of urgency was frustrating, and it felt like my time wasn’t valued. When my food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best, which only added to the disappointment. Sonic is typically my go-to for quick bites, but this experience left me rethinking that choice. I hope this location addresses their service speed because the convenience factor is a big part of what makes Sonic appealing. Please get better. I don't know if it's a management thing, or lazy workers, but this place will cease to be open if it stays like this.
People were rude, was out of 44oz cups and didn't have tea. This is the 2 on d time visiting with the same results. Won't be a 3rd time.
I have given the Jefferson Rd Sonic 3 chances. They failed every single time. 3 strikes and you're out. My first visit, I sat in the drive through line for 10 minutes waiting to place my order. By the time I got to the speaker I was so annoyed I decided to go down the street to McDonalds instead. My second visit, I sat in the drive through for at least 5 minutes before some guy came on the speaker and told me he'd be right with me. Another 5 minutes I had to call out because I thought he had forgotten me. His response was "We're really busy, you'll have to come inside." There was less than a half dozen cars in the parking lot. I told him I chose drive through for a reason and I wasn't coming inside. He let out a disgusted sigh and said "Alright, what do you want then?" as if I were an inconvenience. I placed my order, pulled ahead and waited another 5 minutes. Nobody even came to the window to acknowledge the car at the window I was behind. I hadn't paid yet, so I pulled around the car at the window and went down the street to Wendy's. Today was my third (and final) visit. I ordered and paid in advance on the website thinking that would be quicker and hopefully less aggravating than my prior 2 visits. Nope. The directions on the website said pull into a stall, push the red button and they will bring out your order. I pulled in, pushed the button and waited 5 minutes with no response before backing out and going to the drive through lane. I sat in the drive through for another 10 before I was able to tell the speaker I was there to pick up an online order. The girl working the drive through was very cold. Did not offer any apology for the wait or even a pleasantry like "How are you today?" All I got from her was "What can I get for you" and "Ok, pull up to the window." That was all I got. 12 little words. My food was thrust out the window at me and then she disappeared back into the building without another word. I spent 15 minutes of my lunch break waiting to get my food, then after I got back to work to eat, the order was wrong! This location is the slowest, rudest, most poorly run Sonic I have ever been to. I would never visit that location again, even if the food were free. Which is a shame, because the food is delicious. But this location always leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth (pun only partially intended).
Worst Sonic experience, pull up stalls were not marked that they did not accept cards, and the screen was not functional. Person taking the order was short and rude when asked a question. Asked if I was paying by card or cash, I answered 'card' and they stated they would collect payment when the food came out (3 milkshakes for our order). 15 minutes to get the order, the car-hop shows up and asks for my credit card, with no handheld or card reader to pay. I tell her that I am not comfortable handing my card off to be taken out of my site so I tell her I will come in to pay. I get to the door of the restaurant and the 'district manager' asks me what I am doing coming in to pay. I explain to him I don't let my card leave my sight and he says 'then why did you order food?'. I explain again I am not letting my card out of my sight and he says 'then bring the food back'. So I go back to the car, collect the shakes from my disappointed children and take them in. Unbelievable that a 'district manager' would expect someone to hand off a card to a stranger to disappear into the restaurant. Lesson learned, don't use the pull up car ordering station if the machines aren't functioning, and use the drive-thru.
Please avoid this location. I was there recently and waited ( no joke) 33 mins in the drivethru lane only for two drinks, one cheeseburger and two orders of tots. After sitting and waiting I was haphazardly handed a bag without an apology for the lengthy wait only to realize they messed up the order. Had to go around again and wait another 10 mins for the item. After all that the food was lackluster at best, and drinks melted down. Save the money and hassle!
Awful service. They ignore customers in the drive-through, in the stalls, & in the store. I placed a preorder on the app; otherwise I would have left. There is absolutely no reason it should take 20+ minutes to get a drink.
Horrible people. Very ignorant and rude. Literally didn't even get to place my order to completion, and returned to get a refund(let's hope that it actually gets proceeds because the crew memeber I dealt with refused to do the refund for me after telling me to walk inside the store to finish placing my order to begin with) Thanks Antwon for your incredibly horrible service. I will not be returning. Coming from a manager in the fast food industry this is extremely disturbing.. someone from corporate needs to come and get this location under control asap. Extremely horrible service.
This place is bad ..... I placed a mobile order for four drinks pulled to the carport like the app said waited 25 minutes finally sent my teenager in to get the drinks. When my teenager came out two of the drinks were the wrong size one of them was made incorrectly when she went back into rectify the mistake. The staff acted ratchet and disgusting.. told her they were the correct sizes which they aren't ... anyways. On multiple occasions this restaurant is turned off their mobile ordering even though they're open and we're talking about like 3 o'clock in the afternoon or earlier this makes it so you can't order on the app getting half price drinks. Pulled into the drive-through and waited behind a car for at least 10 minutes. This place is ridiculous.
The absolute worst service didn't get all our order took forever icecream was melted and warm. Staff was completely miserable. Reminds me why I hate most things in Rochester NY.
ETA: the number left in the owner's reply isn't a real number. It wouldn't let me type here when leaving the 1 star review, so here goes. I understand how hard it is to find good employees right now. I really do. But you don't leave a fast food restaurant open with only employee working. Where are your managers??? This poor gentleman was running the restaurant, drive thru, and also cooking all the food. He deserves triple pay for what he was doing last night. It's obnoxious. That said, the food was amazing. Offer higher wages to be competitive. Get some people in there. You will have less people leaving line out of exasperation and make more money
This place sucks. There mobile app is almost always down. Nobody actually answers the buttons at the stalls. Not to mention when u go in. If you can find anyone your a lucky person. Never again this place should just be shut down. Go to shake shack way better.
Another car and I sitting at the drive thru for 10 minutes, nobody said nothing, but then locked the door too. Called and said “ we’re busy right now” as I’m watching the store not be busy.
One of the worst expierences i have had with fast food. I pulled up to the drive thru with no answer for 4 minutes. Then was greeted with them having no icecream or ice i think. She said it so fast i couldnt understand. Order my food to find out they no longer have a number 5. So i got a crispy chicken sandwich instead with no lettuce or tomato. What i got was a stale bun with lettuce and the juices left over from a tomato. Mind you it took them 8 minutes to give us our food once we got to the window. Oh and yes they said no ice and reminded me when i ordered my soda, i wasnt epecting to get warmer then room temperature soda. Never coming back to this spot and i hope if you are reading this, you dont either. Ill be tossing this disaster out my window and going to BK where i know i can get it my way.
The fryer oil has not been cleaned in ages and you could taste it in the food. It also took forever to get 3 meals. We sat at the window for 15 minutes waiting on our food.
Everyone here has no clue what they’re doing and it shows, place needs to be shut down genuinely, never had a worse experience in a fast food restaurant
4/17 spent over $20 to get served nasty food. Ate inside to begin with. First time at this Sonic. Ordered iced coffee instead of soda in a combo and paid 50 cents more for literally ice and coffee. We special requested it as their iced coffee is made with a milkshake mix?! Ordered Crispy chicken sand combo large with tots and soda, double bacon cheeseburger with tots and iced coffee med. Mini order of onion rings equals $21 dollars. Order arrived with everything shoved into a bag. Chicken sandwich was literally oozing with mayo. It was everywhere. Had them remake with no mayo. Iced coffee arrived not to order, had them remake that. Double cheeseburger was gross as an understatement. First it was slathered in mayo and instead of cheese slices had cheese sauce. Then it was smashed down to less than 2 inches tall, which made all liquids ooze everywhere. Received 3 cold chewy onion rings in the mini order. Asked for a manager and waited over 15 min for a scared 19 yr old shift manager to come out. In the end we ended up with a $20 coupon but we have ZERO desire to every try it again. BTW sometime after 11pm developed a nasty case of diarrhea... And Sonic was all I had to eat that day. Just saying.
This place is a joke! The drive-thru is so SLOW!! And half the time they don't have the items for most of their beverages offered, which they tell you after waiting in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes! The people working there are rude and do not know what good customer service is!
Would not recommend. Drive up screens not operational. Extremely long wait time at speaker before ordering food despite no line of cars. Wait time for food unacceptable. It's sad when it takes 20 minutes to get food at the drive thru. This is not counting the time waiting for other customers to clear from the drive thru. This is not the first time this has happened at this location. Will not be returning here again. Too many other options in the area without the extremely long wait times without reasoning. Keep in mind, this was at 2pm, not during lunch or dinner rush.
Stalls where poorly numbered the people that work there had attitudes and made us go through the drive through after we ordered as we sat in the drive through for a good amount of time it looked like they didn't know what they were doing and I was shorted on my change I will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION EVER
Service was slow. Staff was irritated. Food was cold and overcooked. When a refund was requested, the staff got Moody and had a different staff member deal with it. After having to wait 45 minutes the previous time I was there, I will not be coming back again. Used to be a good restaurant. Now it's garbage

I ordered a burger a kids meal a hot dog and a shake and it took an HOUR for my meal to even be done which is insane and is not the first time this has happened the other time I order a hotdog and fries it took thirty minutes and I was the only one there at the time.

Really not sure why we still attempted this place when the parking lot was empty and every other restaurant on Jefferson was packed. The first person to attempt to take our order was told to clock out so she left and went to the bathroom and we waited 5 minutes for someone else to come out the back (there were two other employees sitting and talking at a booth). New lady took our order then took my cars with her to the back. I saw her ring it into the drive through screen but then she disappeared further in back and didn’t bring my card back for over 5 minutes??(to be fair I believe she was only one actually working and she had a drive through order but you don’t disappear with a customers card). While waiting the 15 minutes for our order I went to the rest room and the one lady who clocked out was in there for awhile and when she came out it wrecked of weed(I had my daughter with me so not impressed). We got our food in a bag(never said it was to go) and she said she’d be back with drinks. Took another 3 minutes for the drinks…the place was empty except the ladies sitting and talking and another younger girl who clearly needed someone to be with her at all times because she was very young but also appeared to have developmental disabilities was walking around talking to herself(nothing wrong with that but if they’re all employees, are they also watching a child?). The lady taking our order was very polite and working the whole time while others sat but needless to say we will never be back. Food was not the best especially for $30 for two meals and the long waits but the cars thing was unacceptable. Also there’s no where to get napkins or straws or ketchup. It all gets thrown in a bag with no choice to dine in apparently. I’ll be cancelling my card just because I have no idea if they wrote it down or took pictures while they had it in the back for over 5 minutes!
ZERO customer service!! Went thru the drive thru and sat and waited 7 minutes. No one answered. Two cars left. Went around to the window and still waited 3 minutes for a worker to come to by window. We politely apologized for going to the window but no one was answering. This girl wouldn’t even let me finish my sentence and told me to drive around. It is no wonder this location is dead and no one wants to eat here. BEYOND disappointed. Get some new employees
AWFUL SERVICE! Tried to order my food, asked for my burger plain and started to say what condiments I wanted but was cut off by the lady saying "I understand what that means." In the most rude tone I havr ever heard in a restraunt. Maybe she was having a bad day, but zero reason for someone to speak that way just because they had to do their job. Most of the time the service is meh here, my food is often wrong, and that was just the final straw. Not coming back and honestly you shouldn't either.
Shame on the owners of the location. Absolutely beyond slow service. All the doors were locked, no one was answering at the drive thru or the drive-in service. There was only a singular person running the whole place. What in the absolute hell is this?
Waited 20 minutes on car park for online order. Gave up waiting and went inside. It wasn’t even ready, waited 15 more minutes inside for two shakes and bad attitudes from employees. Came again today and the milkshake I ordered was only 4/5ths full of the cup. Won’t be returning.
Terrible worst place I ever been too been waiting in line for an hour and some minutes only one car in front of me all u wanted was a cheeseburger. Don't come here unless you want to waste your time this shouldn't take this long I had to leave the line insane they can keep the burger. Go to DQ instead.
Horrible customer service the lady at the window was so rude. Didn’t even know what we ordered. When we pulled up and gave her order at speaker we asked total and she said she didn’t know. We had to wait 30 minutes in line, then had to tell her our order again and she didn’t even know what a number 9 was. She was very rude from the beginning, the cherry limeade tasted just like tonic and nothing else. We asked for more syrup and she just gave us a rude response. And didn’t give us our change.
Terrible service tried to order from car hop stand was rudely told to go through drive through. Went through drive then was told the stirring for shakes was broken. As my first sonic experience it was very crazy. Don’t think I’ll try again.
Wanted a burger for lunch. So I pulled up to sonic at the car hop screen. Pressed the red button 3 times. Nobody took my order so after couple minutes thought I would try another car hop screen. I pulled up pressed the red button and said they would be right with me. 5 mins went by so I said screw this and drove off. As I drove off 2 people in drive through window just looking at me. There was no other car in yeh car hop or in the drive thru at this time. So they lost my business and I went Shake shack down the street which was really good and the service was great. No more sonic for me.
? I ordered a hot dog and they put a burnt hotsog (more like a twig) in a bun and said “just smother it with chili” and gave it to me anyway. People have bad days but i paid the full price for a meal and didn’t event get what i ordered. They burned the hot dog and then just said “I don’t care give it to her anyways” that’s what bothers me Most. Anyways. Hope this helps
The food when its accurate is ok, like most sonics but be prepared to walk inside atleast 2 or 3 times to get your order correct. Oftentimes to the attitude of staff working. Probably the worst sonic ive been to. Do not recommend and will never return (ive tired 3 times)
We went to treat ourselves to milkshakes since we live out of the area and they were not made correctly. We got 2 large cheesecake milkshakes and the preparation wasn't served properly. It wasn't mixed all the way and had way too much cheesecake concentrate at the bottom that it tasted like chemicals and was unedible. We spent nearly $20 and waited in the drive for something that was a let down and was unfortunate. Honestly this place should be closed down since the staff seems to not care and the owner seems to not care to improve the location. Sonic used to be such a good, family oriented, friendly restaurant which is so unfortunate.
Terrible - after 10min with red button for a car order we went inside, only to find the place empty. My wife said someone came out for a second, shaking their head, before going back to the back. Completely different at shake shack up the road - busy with customers, a line which moved fast, and our food was out in less than 10 minutes.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant. The customer service is outrageously bad on every level. I had a bad experience where I waited a long time and was treated very rudely 2 years ago. Finally went back again and used my app and had to wait 40 minutes to receive two milkshakes. With one car ahead of me by the way. Two cars behind me waited 30 minutes and finally pulled away. If I hadn't used the app I would have pulled away too. It looked like there was possibly only one person running the whole place. Unprofessional and dangerous on its own. Completely unapologetic,bizarre and SLOW... Corporate customer service was also difficult and completely unapologetic.
