Dopo aver finito il mio itinerario in Vaticano, ho mangiato una pizza super buona qui! La pizza consigliata dal cameriere era davvero deliziosa! Forse visto che ero da solo a mangiare, ogni tanto veniva a chiacchierare con me e mi ha anche invitato con molta cordialità a tornare il giorno dopo per provare la pasta! Sebbene avessi accettato il suo invito, purtroppo a causa dell’itinerario di oggi non posso andare, mi scuso tanto! Se il ristorante vede questo messaggio, per favore trasmettetelo al cameriere! Mi dispiace, non era mia intenzione non venire 🤣🤣

Opo ci ha servito deliziose pietanze. Ci ha assistito e coccolato con amore e professionalità. Vi raccomando il ristorante ed in particolare Opo, che conosce molto bene il lavoro del cameriere ai tavoli. Complimenti a lui per la conoscenza della cucina italiana e delle varie bevande, in particolare i distillati. Una competenza che ha acquisito lavorando nel bar dello stesso ristorante negli anni passati.

Siamo capitati in questa trattoria quasi per caso e ne siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Cucina romana autentica, piatti abbondanti e saporiti, dalla pasta ai secondi. Il personale è gentile e veloce, nonostante il locale fosse piuttosto pieno. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo per essere in una zona centrale.

Da romani siamo andati in questo ristorante dopo una visita guidata alla Basilica di San Pietro e siamo rimasti molto colpiti: il cibo è molto buono, il servizio è veloce, attento e senza sbavature, e l'ambiente e l'accoglienza sono calorose. Il posto è turistico, ma la cucina è davvero romana ❤️

The food and service by Opo was lovely. It’s my first time in Italy and coming to Marcantonio and I was not disappointed. Considering it was busy, the service was quite fast. I’d come again if I were to come to Roma a second time!

Surprisingly good and affordable near the Vatican Randomly found Ristorante Pizzeria Marcantonio while looking for pizza and pasta near the Vatican, and it turned out to be a great find. The food was surprisingly good, especially considering the location, and it didn’t break the bank at all. What really gave me confidence was seeing many locals dining here — even priests — which usually says a lot about the quality. The dishes were satisfying, well-prepared, and felt authentic rather than touristy. Definitely a solid spot if you’re in the area and want good Italian food without overpaying.

Was famished after walking around St. Peter, so I had an early supper here with pasta carbonara, grilled lambchops and tiramisu. Service was very attentive and they made sure I had everything I needed, e.g. ice for my coke zero (in December!) The tiramisu is made in-house. The lamb was well seasoned though some parts were a bit on the tough side. The carbonara ingredients were authentic. Altogether a fun experience and a pleasant respite from the crowds at St Peter.

Beautiful spot to have a nice lunch after walking around the Vatican. They have indoor and outdoor seating and is good for large groups. Everything came out fresh and portions were definitely enough to keep us full.

Food was really delicious, waiters were kind and understood english well. Wait time for 2 pizzas and 3 pastas was around 15-20 minutes. Also you could get as much permesan to pasta as you wish, wich is nice bonus. Idk if 20 euro is much but if you want to eat in price 15 euro (20 with drinks) id really recomend it. Pizza that good as the best ones in poland. Highly recomend

Amazing pizza and meatballs. Lots of seats inside and outside and the food came fast. Perfect spot near the basilica to take lunch before or after visiting. We didn’t have to wait to sit at 3:30 pm on a Monday in October.

Durante la nostra vacanza a Roma, abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e tutto era molto buono. Il personale è stato gentile e il locale è carino e accogliente. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, e il servizio è stato veloce. L'unico neo è che in alcuni momenti ci sembrava di essere in un contesto diverso dal solito. Tuttavia, nel complesso è stata un'esperienza piacevole e lo consigliamo!

Lo consiglio vivamente, mi è piaciuta la pasta, bella posizione. I prezzi sono troppo alti.

Quest'oggi ho mangiato in questo ristorante-pizzeria molto vicino alla Città del Vaticano e quindi facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Come locale è sempre abbastanza affollato e soprattutto i posti all'esterno sono quasi sempre occupati e quindi bisogna sedersi all'interno. I piatti ordinati sono cucinati al momento e hanno dei sapori classici ma per compensare il rapporto qualità-prezzo è buono. Lo staff è efficiente e veloce ma ha bisogno di un po di cura in più verso i suoi clienti.

We were looking for a place to have lunch after visiting the Sistine Chapel and found this restaurant on Google. We ordered a pizza, a rigatoni and a grilled lamb to share. The pizza was a Roman style thin crust type vegetable pizza. The lamb was slightly gamey and rigatoni perhaps was a bit over but overall, the taste was quite acceptable but not outstanding. Service was quick.

One of my first meals in Rome. I felt like we were seated close and quite a few tables to a room. The waiter was helpful with the selection - it was a cold night I started with tomato the main course was a plate if Cacio de Pepe both had great flavor and were well prepared.

This restaurant is located on a very charming little street near the vatican. The restaurant offers a large outdoor seating area so you can dine while enjoying the atmosphere of the area; boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. They have good plates with reasonable prices.

The food arrived extremely fast, which was definitely a plus. The restaurant was quiet, so it was easy to have a conversation without too much background noise. However, the cleanliness left something to be desired, and unfortunately our table was placed right next to the restroom, which made the experience less enjoyable. Overall, the quick service was appreciated, but the atmosphere and hygiene could be improved.

We had a lasagna and the carbonara. The lasanha was good, but the carbonara was awful. I will overlook the fact that they use bacon on the carbonara, and just say that the bacon was horrible: only fat. The cheese they used in the pasta was also weird. Service was also subpar: the waiters are nice and polite, but the glasses on the table were dirty (they were switched for other dirty glasses after complaint) and the order took more tham 30 minutes to come, with the restaurant relatively empty. There are much better places to eat in Rome and on that street.

Mi dispiace, il posto si trova anche in un posto strategico in una via appena dietro San Pietro, peccato che la carbonara ordinata fosse acida, e mi sia quindi toccato lasciarla da parte. Per il resto prezzi in linea con la posizione e i circostanti locali. La tagliata di pollo anche buona. Peccato davvero per la carbonara.

Non sono solita lasciare recensioni. Abbiamo ordinato un piatto di pasta e una tagliata al sangue, inutile dire che nel piatto di pasta c'era il pelo/capello di qualcuno e il cameriere insisteva che non ci fosse nulla, mentre per la mia amica che aveva chiesto una tagliata al sangue, gli è arrivata abbrustolita (non so qual'è la vostra concezione di sangue). Tra l'altro nemmeno lo sconto ci hanno fatto e le scuse per il pelo nel piatto. Non ve lo consiglio.

NON ANDATE esperienza pessima. Il proprietario sgarbato e arrogante . Ci ha fatti sedere come se ci stesse facendo un favore. Non ho mai visto tanta maleducazione da parte di un titolare. NON ANDATE
