Un ristorante immediatamente nelle vicinanze di Piazza di Spagna, confinante con altri ristoranti, può sembrare il classico acchiappaturisti usa e getta. Invece è tutto una sorpresa, camerieri gentili e professionali, un ambiente estremamente curato e, non ultimo un cibo genuino, generoso e delizioso. Personalmente ho preso i bucatini all'amatriciana, che ho eletto uno primi più buoni mangiati quest'anno. Curioso anche il tiramisù presentato nel fondo della moka con la parte superiore con il caffè da versare. Prezzi chiaramente un poco alti, ma inferiori alla media della zona. Just great food! Our favorite casual restaurant in our weeklong stay in Rome. I would go so far as a couple of their dishes were tastier/more enjoyable than some of the dishes amongst the Michelin Star restaurants we went to in Rome (and in Paris). Three dishes stood out for us. The deep fried anchovies (never anchovies outside of salted canned/bottled in North America). The pasta with clams was the best we've ever had. And the complimentary pizza-style garlic bread was "to die for". I originally came for lunch with my son and was blown-away by the pasta with clams. Then everyone came out for dinner - and I wanted the pasta with clams again! But then got to try the garlic bread (which was complimentary break during dinner only I presume) which was "WOW". Don't be fooled by low review - Way too many 1 star postings from people with 1 or 2 posts (which I suspect are from competitors).

Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in Rome! The Hugo Spritz was delicious. The carbonara was out of this world! The calamari was fresh. We also had a pizza that was like a canzone. Wonderful Italian restaurant chain with a large location in the historic section of Rome. We stopped in for a fast lunch and the pizza here was amazing. I order a Neapolitan pizza and asked the waiter to add some toppings he would recommend. He brought out a pizza with cooked prosciutto on top. He also had the mozzarella substituted with buffalo mozzarella that he had cooked so it was not runny. Flavors were on par with the pizzas we had in Naples…bravo!

Our "hangry" family of four stopped in for a quick lunch after visiting some nearby attractions. What a delightful time we had! Our table was not quite ready, so we enjoyed a complimentary glass of Prosecco while we waited. Was it a ploy to ensure we didn't go "next door"? Of course, but who cares...we're in Rome! The food and service was outstanding and we dines al fresco while passers by gazed at the pizzas on our table. The wine options were plentiful and delicious on this incredible warm afternoon. The entire experience hit quite right and was precisely what we needed.

My parents and I were in Rome for 6 days, and we ate here for 4 days because the food was absolutely amazing. The waiters are very fun people, especially Josephe (Pepe). He was funny, pleasant to be around and always ready to help. The pasta, pizzas, appetizers, desert...everything was delicious. You can sit inside or outside, both cooled down and nice to sit. Outside the decorations make the place feel peaceful even though it's next to a street. 1000% recommend this restaurant!!

Scelto per caso, si è rivelato un buon posto dove mangiare bene e riposare. Ottima la pizza: ben cotta e preparata con ingredienti di qualità. Ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo ristorante mentre stavamo girando per la città attratti dal menù esposto fuori. Ci hanno fatto accomodare anche senza prenotazione, il locale è molto carino e il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile e accogliente. Abbiamo ordinato due menù fissi: quello con la tagliata di manzo e la bibita e quello con la lasagna e la bibita (noi abbiamo preso un calice di vino a testa che è considerato come bibita inclusa nell'offerta). Entrambi i nostri piatti erano ottimi e molto saporiti. Si tratta sicuramente di un posto con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo: i costi sono accessibili e i piatti molto buoni. We had dinner and it was a very nice atmosphere. Reasonably priced considering the close location to the Spanish steps. We both had pasta, cannelloni was very nice and the spaghetti was nice but not as good compared to many other places we have had pasta in Rome - you could tell the pasta was not fresh and was dried. The pizza however looked to die for and if we were staying another night we might have gone back for the pizza. The service was good

Lasciate stare i primi, discreta la tagliata rucola e grana. Noi ci siamo fermati a pranzo ed abbiamo approfittato dell'offerta pizza e bibita ad € 11,00 (chiedete quali pizze sono comprese). I was walking past and was looking for a quick bite to eat with my partner. We saw the board outside advertising the pizza and drink combo special which was perfect for us since we weren’t super hungry. We walked in and we were sat at our table, first waiter was fine, gave us menus and plates, cutlery etc. When it came time to order we had a different waiter (bald guy) come over to take our order. We asked for the special, he said he cannot give us that to share and we had to order the items separately, which was fine. What wasn’t so fine was the attitude for the rest of the service, it came off very cold and rude. It made us feel like we didn’t belong at the restaurant and we wanted to leave asap. Now the food. We ordered the diavola pizza, as it’s pretty standard everywhere you go. The toppings were pretty bare, with a few pieces of meat scattered around the pizza. The dough itself was good, crust was nice and crisp but soft in the middle, the sauce was average at best. After dinner, I asked to pay and was directed, by the first waiter we encountered, to the back to pay. The second waiter (bald guy) was chatting to the (I assume) manager/ owner who was running the register. I asked to pay and got attitude from this person as well. He first printed off the receipt of what we had ordered and I said “Yep” to which he then mocked “yep yep yep”. I paid and left as soon as possible. Possibly the worst customer experience I’ve had in the last month I’ve been in Europe.

The restaurant is located conveniently next to the Spanish Steps. It offered plenty of outdoor and indoor eating to rest after a long day of sightseeing. We started with a seafood appetizer of baby octopus in tomato sauce. The octopus was tender and the sauce was delicious. We wished the bread was soft enough to mop up the sauce but it was way too hard even after soaking in the broth. The Fettuccine with meat sauce and spaghetti with clams were fine, nothing to rave about. The margherita pizza was very disappointing. The crust was chewy and the middle of the pizza was sloppy, no integrity at all. It is worth noting that the bathroom is a community and mixed gendered. Two stalls for men and two stalls for women in the same room. The men's stall (at least the one I went into) had no toilet seat. Good luck balancing on the thin rims if you need to go #2. I do not recommend this establishment.
