Awesome awesome awesome!!!! Zack and Ana are super fantastic with good customer service and delivery skills. As soon as i paid he handed me my order. Didn't know they had option of wheat bread and wraps till now. And you can buy fresh bread or day old bread (which is still delicious) for 50 cents or a dollar. And them cookies... Omg yum fest. My favorite sandwich chain and now my favorite Jimmy John's restaurant location. People complain about delivery? Really? Drive up, go in, get your sandwich and leave. Only takes 3 minutes as opposed to waiting at other sub shops for like 10. We come here weekly and will be back. Keep it up guys!!!
Dee and Michelle are the best! Wonderful Customer Service and always friendly. Please take care of these ladies. Good Managers and Associates are hard to find. Pay them well.
The sandwiches are so good, especially the tuna when the African-American lady is there in the evenings. I don’t know what her name is but she is awesome. Customer service from her is wonderful.
Come on JJs is awesome and you know it! This is a new store and needs time to get staffed up so they can expand delivery the right way. You want them to try with new and limited staff? No, of course not! And OK, some are not happy about customer appreciation day. Not all stores participated in the limited offer. It had rules, and wasn't mandatory. I wouldn't want to see the carnage left behind if a new store tried to handle a slam-fest like that. If they had the reviews would probably be even worse, slamming them for not being top notch already just so you could save a few bucks. Lighten up, review your jump-the-gun reviews and give them chance get opened and running, it takes time. Now I'm gonna love me a #5 with peppers, and an oatmeal raisin cookie, and a smile.
'D' is an absolute rockstar! Despite the limited options available today (to no fault of his own) he provided top-notch service with a smile. Incredibly satisfied my experience here at Jimmy John's today.

I gave it 5 stars due to my service in the past. Yesterday, I had one lady in the front she greeted me and made my sandwich. I go back today two employees in the store. Both look at me, and neither of them greet me. So I stood there and decided that if you can't take the time to greet me. Then you might not have the time to make my sandwich right. So I left.
Can't get enough of that roast beef and cheddar and with toasted bread.....man! The folks they've had working there have been super nice and helpful. I'll be back.

The onions were soft, more like lightly sautéed onions. If I had eaten the sandwich there, I would have perhaps tasted crispy onions. I liked the crispy bun. The horseradish was delicious, and the beef was nicely done. If you like a lot of cheese, this sandwich is not overly cheezy. All together, this made for a delicious sandwich. I would buy this sandwich again without hesitation or complaints. I recommend the sandwich. I also recommend the location. Ordered online and the sandwich was put together very fast when I arrived. It was not put together early, getting soggy before I arrived. Friendly staff, got my order right, and it was easy to get in and out of this location.

Picked up orders twice at this location, food was great both times. As far as the 1 star reviews due to lack of delivery, I haven't asked them but I assume they must be hiring/training for delivery soon since this is a major JJ selling point. Judge for yourself, I for one am glad to see them in Rowlett and will frequent them.
Their bread is a thousand times better than their competitors bread! The only bad thing I can say is that unless you specifically tell them not to, you will more than likely get more mayonnaise on your sandwich than you would care for. The last two or three times I've actually had to just take the sandwich apart because there was so much mayonnaise.
I always love to come to this location, the boy makes the best tuna sandwich (my only kind) compared to other locations. the last time was on 11/28/22, and the sandwich was not good. She put in just a little tuna, not enough vegetables. It was not the same. I could not finish it. It is the same ingredients but the way to portion them makes a big difference. After this, I may not want to eat it for a while.

Today's experience was quickly rectified by a friendly sandwich maker (4/11/25, lunch time) but worth adding feedback because this should not happen: I ordered the Club Tuna and my first one the onions folded into the tuna salad were RANK. They were quick to offer me the batch of tuna salad that was made today, not yesterday (they admitted the first one I got was made with yesterday's tuna salad) and remade my sandwich without a fuss, but - anything with onions chopped up and incorporated into the mixture should ONLY be made daily, and potentially twice a day. Onions can only be exposed to oxygen for a few hours before they turn very gross, both in texture and flavor. So that much should be fixed.
The chicken tasted like canned chicken. The service was left to be desired. The lady who took my order was nice but the one preparing the food her demeanor was much left to be desired. I didn't like the fact that I had to bag my own food. I don't think I will be retirning.

Employees didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Rude and would speak under their breath. No communication attempt
this was the third time our order was canceled. the first time it was a holiday (July 4 I think) and said they were closed, that the register was open but they had already cleaned up so it was canceled and refunded. we tried again but they were out of bread. canceled and refunded. this weekend (Oct) they were out of tuna (2/4 of my sandwiches were tuna) but didn’t even contact me and I arrived 15 minutes after placing my order because it’s usually so quick. only good thing is that I wasn’t charged.
Sandwich was good service was extremely (SLOW). I ordered 1st and 1 person behind me, 1 person working counter and making sandwiches ordered at 1:03pm received@ 110pm 3 people came after I ordered after she ( STARTED) making my sandwich she stopped what a bad experience! A little petty, i ordered two combo meals and he only rang one up, i asked where the other drink was and he said no u only asked for one, he fidgeted with register and couldnt ring up chips and drink only, like dummy i felt i was holding up the line, so i told him just leave it like that he seem flustered, yet somehow my two sandwiches ended up being made after the next four people inline, so yeah the guy making the sandwich really had his back and really showed me
Overpriced sandwich with sad veggies. I only order veggie sandwich and every time it is a disappointment. Y’all hardly put any veggies on them when that is supposed to be the entire sandwich. Also, the lettuce is soggy. The only good thing is the bread. Meanwhile my husband gets his sandwich that is loaded. Every. Single. Time. He gets meat on his, but even if you were to remove the meat he would still get more veggies than mine. Make it make sense. My sandwiches are always abysmal at best.

It’s just perfect would not recommend. And the service was really slow compared to every others I’ve been to around the Dallas/garland area

Ordered a combo this evening. Walked inside to pick it up and neither of the employees (two women) never even acknowledged that I was there. They both sat down at one of the booths and had a conversation with each other while I picked up my order and got my drink. No hello, thank you, nothing at all. Not even eye contact. I think it's very rude to not even acknowledge a customer when they walk into your business. Jersey Mike's is right down the street...... Maybe this was the reason you guys went out of business the first time. #dobetter
I'm sitting in the lobby waiting on my sandwich while I'm. Again with the blaring rock music.... "Don't Fear the Reaper" is blasting through the speakers so loud you can't even about what you want to order. One employee taking orders, making the sandwichs, and using the register all with the same pair of gloves on. Touching all kinds of different things while still wearing the same gloves to fix food. She actually told the customer infront of me that she was on a personal call on her earbud and he'd have to wait a minute. She was so rude to him. It was crazy. When I walked up to the counter she literally just stood there and stared at me and then said can I help you in a sassy attitude. I get that you're alone but you still have to consider proper hygiene and being polite to your customers.
Love the food but this location is slow. Came in for my favorite beach club with 2 kickin ranch. I ordered two ranches and they only had two ranches, mistake #1. Make more. Then, she gave away my ranches to the guy in front of me for no charge. Mistake #2. Brain dead women. Fire them and hire a couple of guys who can actually keep up with demand. Never coming back to this location.
I ordered food on Sunday, May 28th and when I got to the restaurant I noticed a sign that says “closed due to maintenance” I waited outside to speak to someone and a lady claimed to be a manager told me they would cancelled my order and I would receive a refund. I never received a refund. I called the store the following day and they informed me that the person I spoke to was not a manager and I would receive my refund…. Still no refund. I would strongly suggest going to a different location. This location is not professional and seem to always be closed.
I went a few weeks ago for the first time ever to any Jimmy Johns and I also let the girl know that (who was wearing a camouflage hat) she seemed very annoyed to be at work and unhappy to make my sandwich. I guess I interrupted her since she kept texting as she was shredding the deli meat. I honestly felt like I was being a burden to give my business there. I paid over $10 for a turkey sandwich meal at least PRETEND to be pleasant. I emailed feedback to corporate about this horrible experience.
My wife and I were ecstatic when we saw the 'Coming Soon, Jimmy John's' sign here in Rowlett, TX. Our favorite sandwich chain by far. We were planning to go there on a weekly basis. First experience was by my wife, who's sandwich had a single ingredient missing, no big deal. Had a delivery, food was good, fast, guy that delivered didn't greet me, didn't say goodbye, just said "sign here". Today my wife came in to take advantage of the ironic "Customer Appreciation Day-Nationwide $1* Subs". And was greeted by an owner than not only refused the offer, but laughed and walked away from my wife while she was still speaking. We will no longer go to this location, and by the looks of all the other 1 star reviews, we are not alone.
Worst customer service ever! The lady that was working was incredibly rude and lazy. The worst part was the customer in front of me had a similar experience. I hope the management fire her before she runs off too much more customers. At this point I won't be coming back!

The young African American girl, only person working Rowlett store. 11-7-24 . 5:15pm. Beyond rude. Had to call manager, was unaware of meal deal for free chips & drink . When she voided transaction, she did not give me back my money and wanted me to pay again. She got mad at me, stating I did not understand when she had no concept of what she was doing. Will not be coming back to this store. Sorry to say.
I'm actually an UBER/DD driver, and whoever this woman was today needs to learn how to talk to people. The moment I ask her to repeat what she said (it was noisy and I don't hear well) her demeanor went south, her tone got disrespectful, and she's telling me to go sit down, less asking me to. I walked out, I don't need that kind of garbage to ruin my work day. Fix your employees.
Employees are terrible. Have headphones on and asked me to repeat my order 3 times. Then acted completely put out and very unfriendly. She shouldn't be in a customer facing job.
Got curbside pickup. Link was not working to let them know I was there so I had to call. The man who answered was very short and rude. Then, when my food came, I asked the employee who brought the food to me if there was a straw for my drink in the bag. She said “no, have a good day” and went back in! Didn’t come back to give me a straw! Very unimpressed.
Went for a late lunch with my wife and we were the only customers in the building. The music was so loud that we had trouble communicating with the cashier. Deciding to eat in we gathered ourselves in a booth with a book for a nice lunch when mid way through we noticed that it was extremely cold. It actually became so uncomfortable that neither my wife nor I could finish. We trashed our sandwiches and left. $35.00 down the drain! Great example of employees running the show when the owner was away! Never again will we eat at this place!
I didn’t get nothing the doors where locked at 3:35 in the afternoon. Never had I seen everything said open but there was not anybody in the store I could see. Very disappointed. I was supposed to have taking my fiance lunch. I think this was very upsetting by the time I go somewhere else & get it to him he had no time to eat. Just thought y’all should be aware that they lock the door during business hours. Will not rely on them again.
Tonight Wednesday 10/22 around 8:30 pm at this Rowlett location I paid $20 for a giant blt with ranch and cucumbers I get home a few hours later I open my sandwich and there’s no bacon. None. Ur gonna tell me between the two women working there tonight they didn’t know they put no bacon on my sandwich? I’m definitely going to be needing a refund. I already had a rough day this was the cherry on top. I’ve been to many JJ and have not once had this issue. She also didn’t give me my receipt of course. Someone needs to contact me asap. Update it took me weeks to get my money back. I had to go to the shop several times and call the regional before they gave me my money back. And on top of that my review is being hidden somehow so that people can’t see it. What is going on? I know it’s being hidden because my pictures show zero views when all of my other reviews with pictures have thousands. And no apology from the “owner” on here. U couldn’t even be bothered to offer a free sandwich to make up for all of the inconvenience and wasted time of mine. My sister and I saw their store manager bring her sick kid in the store and make sandwiches without gloves as well. Bunch of cheap people that run this place. Y’all are a joke and I won’t ever buy food here again. Jersey mikes is WAY better, they don’t forget the bacon or anything else.

While I’ve heard great things about their subs, my visit did not live up to the hype. Firstly, the service felt rushed and inattentive. I arrived during what seemed to be a relatively quiet time but still felt like I was being pushed through the line. The staff didn’t seem engaged, and when I asked questions about the menu, the responses were curt, making me feel unwelcome.
They forgot to put the avocado on my #6 veggie. Nit to mention that JJs doesn't have the crispy jalapeños or jalapeño ranch anymore.
1 paid $13 for this sandwich. I felt sad when I opened it. When I complained to the manager, he told me that this is the way its supposed be. The Jimmy John standard. Jimmy John's never reached out to me about this. They have bad customer service.

The big balding guy with the rainbow wrist band was VERY rude. He hates his job & hates his self n it shows. Such a sad sorry excuse of a human honestly!
I love JJ’s but had a terrible experience tonight at the Rowlett location on Sunday evening with the African American female employee. I walked in the store was completely empty. No employees at all. After a couple of minutes, the employee came out from the back and said “yes?” Like I bothered her at home. I let her know I was picking up a Togo mobile order I had placed and paid for 20 minutes prior- she then printed the ticket and said she would get started and mumbled while hand waiving at me. I said “sorry? I couldn’t hear you.” She sighed and said “I SAID you can get your drink”. She also yelled that I can’t use the restroom- I guess they close the bathrooms two hours before closing? Everything she said besides the yelling I had to ask her to repeat because she barely spoke audibly, would not make eye contact at all, and instead seemed to be having a conversation on her AirPods. When I politely asked her to repeat herself, she would sigh before doing so. All in all a terrible experience and I see from previous reviews this is not the first time someone has had this issue. She was very rude and dismissive and it really put me off this place. Edited to add: our order was also wrong.
The younger African-American lady that worked tonight was the rudest person I've ever encountered in my entire life. It was obvious that I was inconvenience to her. She actually rolled her eyes at me and sighed when I told her I needed to look at the menu. I've had the same problem with this location before I don't know why I continue to come back. She handed me my sandwich without a thank you or anything and turn around and walked away. You can't understand anything she says because she doesn't make eye contact with you or speak up when she's speaking to you then when you ask her what she said she gets irritated and snaps at you. Do better it's freaking ridiculous
Ordered online through their direct website. They called when the food was already supposed to be delivered, so I thought they were in the parking lot. Then they stated that they could not deliver since they do not have a driver anymore. They needed to use a third party delivery driver and to pay the delivery fee balance over the phone. My payment was already made and accepted online. I proceeded to say no worries, I’ll just pick it up. Went to get it, the sign “exceptional deliver” was lit up, yet they don’t have a driver. When I walked in there was a very welcoming environment until the moment I said “I want to redo the transaction to take off their delivery fee and tip for the driver”. The employee’s demeanor dramatically changed. She actually huffed and made a big sigh like I was inconveniencing her. I spoke that I was frustrated with the experience, as one should be. It should have been an easy interaction with “we are sorry for this inconvenience, let’s redo the transaction and get you on your way. This employee then very dramatically processed the voided transaction. I asked how I would know I was refunded the first transaction and she said “didn’t you just see me void it?” Unfortunately, I could not also see the screen that was facing her. She then raised her voice and held up the recipient and started shaking and waving it at me saying, “do you want to see it?” Why yes, who wouldn’t want to keep their voided receipt to make sure they are not charged twice. She never gave it to me. After this she rang me up and then slammed my food on the counter. Then she shoved it toward me. It was a very unnecessarily rude and disrespectful experience. A simple problem that could have easily been resolved with minimal customer service skills instead of very aggressive body language and condescending attitude. I unfortunately didn’t accept the food and had to get our order somewhere else, causing extra delays in our day. Definitely not a “freak fast experience”.
The big balding guy with the rainbow wrist band was VERY rude. He hates his job & hates his self n it shows. Such a sad sorry excuse of a human honestly!
Ordered online through their direct website. They called when the food was already supposed to be delivered, so I thought they were in the parking lot. Then they stated that they could not deliver since they do not have a driver anymore. They needed to use a third party delivery driver and to pay the delivery fee balance over the phone. My payment was already made and accepted online. I proceeded to say no worries, I’ll just pick it up. Went to get it, the sign “exceptional deliver” was lit up, yet they don’t have a driver. When I walked in there was a very welcoming environment until the moment I said “I want to redo the transaction to take off their delivery fee and tip for the driver”. The employee’s demeanor dramatically changed. She actually huffed and made a big sigh like I was inconveniencing her. I spoke that I was frustrated with the experience, as one should be. Employees are terrible. Have headphones on and asked me to repeat my order 3 times. Then acted completely put out and very unfriendly. She shouldn't be in a customer facing job.
I love JJ’s but had a terrible experience tonight at the Rowlett location on Sunday evening with the African American female employee. I walked in the store was completely empty. No employees at all. After a couple of minutes, the employee came out from the back and said “yes?” Like I bothered her at home. I let her know I was picking up a Togo mobile order I had placed and paid for 20 minutes prior- she then printed the ticket and said she would get started and mumbled while hand waiving at me. I said “sorry? I couldn’t hear you.” She sighed and said “I SAID you can get your drink”. She also yelled that I can’t use the restroom- I guess they close the bathrooms two hours before closing? Everything she said besides the yelling I had to ask her to repeat because she barely spoke audibly, would not make eye contact at all, and instead seemed to be having a conversation on her AirPods. When I politely asked her to repeat herself, she would sigh before doing so. All in all a terrible experience and I see from previous reviews this is not the first time someone has had this issue. She was very rude and dismissive and it really put me off this place. Edited to add: our order was also wrong.
