On my first visit, I dined there. Quiet, clean atmosphere. Food was immaculate! Flaky, fresh fish piping hot and full of flavor! Fries were hot and lightly salted. My second time I had someone pick up my order and they were impressed by the quality and quantity of portions for a small fee! Once again they didn’t disappoint unlike the last fish and chips place I visited. Definitely a must have! Great selection of craft beverages and I recommend the Black cherry cream soda if you indulge in such things!

Big Fish truly is a GEM of East Sac! Cleanest and freshest fish and chips in town. Fish is perfectly seasoned, batter is made fresh, prawns are deveined and peeled all the way to the tail, sauces are all made in house. What more can I say!? I loved it! And don't sleep on the fried mushrooms! BEST IN TOWN!!!!

We had the 1 Fish and Chips. Very good. It came with a fried zucchini and fried onion. The place is clean and clean smelling. We will be back!

I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. The new management care about the quality of their food and service, and it shows. The "chips" come with a couple of surprise additional veggies, delicately breaded. The house-made condiments are all delicious. I appreciate the efforts they've taken and will be back for more!

Found this spot on a whimper and so glad we did. Food is so fresh and delightful. Clam chowder was spme of the best I ever had. Fish and chips so crispy and flaky. Customer service was amazing. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been doing a review on the best fish & chips, in Sacramento, looking for great customer service positive energy & delicious Fish & Chips. So I stopped into BIG Fish and they were true to their name grabbed a 3pc fish & chips met Nathan, great customer service and the fish & chip was awesome, highly recommended supporting this business. 👍🏾

The fish and prawns were perfect. The only deep fried food I eat is fish and chips, and this dish was cooked perfectly. Not overly greasy, and the batter was perfect. Loved the tempura style options. There's no signage yet, but it's easy to find using maps. This will be my go to fish and chips place even though it's a 20 minute longer drive than a place much closer to me.

Big Fish is so delicious! Best fish and chips I've ever had. Best tarter sauce I've ever had. The fried fish was not oily. The french fries, onion rings, and fried zucchini were all very good too. It's a lot of food for the price. The guys working there were nice. Loved it. Thanks!

If you're in the mood for fish & chips, this is your spot! Everything is incredibly fresh and prepped, then fried right in front of you. The zucchini & housemade tartar sauce are especially drool worthy, but everything is crispy and fried to perfection. Serving sizes are generous and staff are friendly too.

Went in and got the 1 piece fish for $9. Staff was extremely friendly and they gave me two full pieces of fish, an onion ring, and fried vegetable, and fries. Fantastic price for really good food and service

Amazing new fish and chips spot in East Sac with the friendliest owner! Some of the best fried zucchini I've had. Everything gets battered right in front of you so it's super fresh. Even my leftovers stayed crispy the next day!

Delicious! We ordered fish and chips combo, clams, zuchini, and hush puppies. Literally EVERYTHING was cooked perfectly to order and delicious. We were offered all the condiments that would go with our order and they were also fresh. The service was friendly and fast, the store was clean, and food was great, we'll definitely go back for more!

I think it is a fine spot. The fish was fresh and crispy, but it is not something to go back to if you don’t live nearby. It's more of a neighborhood spot that's convenient. The tartar sauce tasted like nothing, just plain mayo. However, it's AYCE tartar sauce.

The hush puppies had good seasoning, but we’re a little on the small side. The urge for fish and chips does not strike me very often but when it does, it’s good to know that there is a reliable option nearby.
