Dry Dock, now Crab City, is a seafood restaurant with a lively atmosphere and friendly staff, especially Victoria. Customers rave about the fresh, flavorful food, particularly the boils and oysters. Some find the shrimp fried rice bland or the crab legs disappointing.

Nothing to complain about here .Everything was legit ! Shrimp was excellent ! We enjoyed it very much !
Best crawfish in town and great service ! The spice and garlic paired well together! I enjoyed everything and within peace at their outdoor patio ! I got the $28 bucket with shrimp, crawfish, 1 corn and 1 potato cajun. They also remove the shrimp heads for you as well! Thank you so much again!
Food was great. Had a seafood boil with medium spice and it was perfectly flavorful. We also had the sampler- the fried shrimp were delicious. Cold beers and fresh oysters too. Glad we stopped in and will be back.
Some of the best seafood I have had in years! Service was excellent and I was even greeted by the owner! I’ll be back soon!
Great food! Great music! Friendly people! Really enjoyed this experience a lot!
It was kind of pricey, the food was mediocre and the wait staff was nice but not attentive.
The place has been updated from the previous place. The service was great and the food was good. Staff were very friendly.
Staff was very friendly, environment very welcoming. Food came out pretty fast, everything tasted great
From MN tourist area. Atmoshere felt like home in summer on the lake. Tasted better!
Clean atmosphere. Food was on point. Service was tops!!!. Going back asap
Food was good great service
I chose this place on purpose. EXCELLENT CHOICE!! Victoria was awesome.
Love personal they are very nice
The back room is a little dark. The food is good.
Foo food, amazing service
Best oysters. Best seafood
Super
I really enjoyed the crawfish and snow crab boil. Also, the oysters Rockefeller were perfect!
We had a great meal tonight. Had a boil and was amazing. Service was great and nice talking to the owner. Highly recommend
Draft beer and seafood raw oysters this is the place you gotta check it out And good service
The food was great! Got the fried shrimp on the happy hour menu. Great price and the breading was great!
Used to love dry dock, but the inconsistency in the food was CRAZY. Great then absolute garbage the next time. Today, i walked in to try this place. Best fried fish and shrimp in the city. Even the cheesesticks are delicious and homemade. Cannot WAIT for the crab boil im.getting when i bring the wife. I was VERY impressed. Catfish may have been the best ive had in 20 years. Crispy but perfectly moist internal. Dont sleep on this place! Prices are VERY reasonable too.
Loved the service here!! Everyone so welcoming and food is delicious. Restrooms are clean and not poopy.
The owner Channel did amazing work on formally known, Dry Dock Oyster Bar. The food, service and the cleanest raised the bar. She kept some of the old menu items and added new ones. I highly recommend Crab City Seafood.
It is definitely upgraded inside decor wise. The food is great and didn't change much from previous owner, quality wise. We had the fried crab sticks and stuffed crab. Both were fantastic! I should mention this was our 2nd stop, we had just come from Pappadeux. We had the same entree stuffed crab no appetizer, one drink, the bill at pappadeaux was double and the quality of food was about the same. The only difference in the stuffed crab was the texture. Crab City was a little moist compared but the taste was great! 10 out of 10, would recommend, will come again.
10/10 recommend! Fried fish, shrimp and Rockefeller oysters are all AMAZING! I’d post pics but we ate it all so fast lol
This was such a good place there was good service and also food and they have a lot of great decorations it was amazing I loved it.
Great food here!!! Was very hesitant as I'm not a fan of seafood but the experience was overall amazing!! There was also this cook named Tim who helped me feel welcome and ease into great seafood! He was awesome and you will not regret eating in!
food was really delicious i would definitely recommend. the service was amazing, no complaints.
“I had an amazing experience at Crab City! The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the crab legs were absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual night out or a special celebration. I highly recommend Crab City to anyone looking for top-notch seafood and a great time!”
The frog legs were so good!! Great atmosphere and a great bartender/waiter! We will definitely be back
Wow!!! Great Food, Great service, Had a shrimp poboy and oysters love it. I will definitely be back . The server ( she) was very welcoming and professional. I will recommend this place to everyone I know
I love seafood boils, so I had to check this place out. Super good food. Generous portions and awesome service! Owner was also very involved and super friendly. Highly recommend trying this place out!
The food was amazing good and the service and atmosphere was like being at a good friends place.
We did the build your own boil and it was incredible. Definitely get the crab city spice mix. Drinks and service were excellent too!
Thank God someone carried on a tradition of dry dock they were really sucking the last couple of years and I'm just so glad that someone picked up the ball and carrying on the traditions . Oksana who's the best
Great food and service definitely coming back😁
We came for happy hour to see if it was better than Dry Dock… and boy let me tell ya!!! It’s GREAT!!! Food and service were AWESOME! Will be returning!
Some of the best boiled crawfish I've ever had. The food is AMAZING. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!
1 of my favorite stops on Fredericksburg rd.
Crab City was great! The food was 10/10 l, fresh and full of flavor, the crab city sauce is a must. Service was super friendly and quick, and we loved sitting out on the patio. Definitely coming back soon!
I travel 2 hours to San Antonio twice a year the first place we always go to is crab city it is one of the best and seafood that oysters are phenomenal. The service is outstanding. This is a must visit place.
What a nice place and good food we had the fish and shrimp platter which was terrific and we also had the crab and raw oysters and that was also terrific price a little high but that's to be expected anyway it was a terrific dinner I will return the next time I'm in town
Stopped by on a whim, was a little worried with how empty it was but the boil was really good and so were the charbroiled oysters. Our waitress was friendly and attentive
Been there a couple times now and each time I've been impressed. Had the catfish and Cajun fries the first time. Catfish was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. The fries were plentiful for the lunch special. Today I had the Rockefeller style charbroiled oysters and they were hands down some of the best I've had in town. Had the calamari and fried gyoza as well. Went appetizer crazy. But the star was the Calamari. Very tender and delicious. Not tough and stringy like other places in town. The sauce they pair the calamari with was spicy but flavorful. Again. Some of the best I've had in town. It's a little pricey but I feel as though the food and atmosphere more than makes up for it.
Crab City Seafood & Oyster Bar in San Antonio is amazing! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is lively, welcoming, and full of great energy. The place feels fresh and fun, perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a family dinner. The food is seriously top-tier. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. The seafood boil was loaded with flavor, and the portions were more than generous. The oysters were fresh, the crab was delicious, and the sauces tied everything together perfectly. You can tell they put care into every plate. The service was fast, friendly, and helpful, they checked on us often and made sure everything was perfect. Prices were very fair for the quality and amount of food you get, and the whole experience felt worth every penny. If you love seafood or just want a fun, flavorful place to eat in San Antonio, Crab City is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know! 🦀🔥
Staff was very friendly. New name but bigger menu. They now have boils. Food was great! Loved the atmosphere Definitely will be back.
Was out heading home and decided to stop here and eat .was welcomed as soon as we came in and service was excellent. Food is delicious and was more than enough. Good portion. Will return next time I want seafood
Catfish and fries were crispy and flavorful. Place has been updated and is very clean. Friendly staff. They have big selection of appetizers and also Boils.

Visiting the UT dental school . We stayed the night and found this great seafood restaurant! The parking lot was scarce and I said if we don’t like what we see we would leave. As we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess who was a sweet lady/owner? The food was HOT and delicious Shrimp Skewers we grilled perfectly Fried shrimp was delicious Clean…fast service and food We will definitely eat here when we return.
I loved this place so much! Great food and amazing service. Had this wonderful waitress named Victoria, she was such a joy! Made us laugh several times and was also very friendly. Food was amazing and delicious. Cooked to perfection!! 10/10 would come again.
We had the garlic parmesan oysters, Gumbo, and the seafood boil and let me tell you, i think i just found my new favorite eatery for when I visit San Antonio! Staff was friendly, place was clean, food was fresh and flavorful. Miss Victoria assisted us with the menu and she was very cordial and professional.
This place has been revamped. I love it great food clean, and organized. I had the shrimp platter. Light batter and good flavor. Will be back for the broil.
Had dinner with my beautiful wife and wasn’t disappointed. Great food. Ambience is comfortable. Staff is friendly and service was prompt. Highly recommend this for family night or first time date.
let me first say this used to be the dry Doc oyster bar. I went there in a very early 90s and drink beer and oysters with my boyfriend so I used to love it when I approached this to feed my kids. I realize where I was but I have to say the menu is extensive animated with pictures for kids menu for those who don’t like seafood and you know a lot of kids don’t like seafood. !!🦞 So they can be happy to, but let me say this place is so good and it is amazing. The food is amazing with 1 million choices, I drove from Stone Oak to have food here so I need everyone to understand it while some say that the previous restaurant went downhill and was bad. This is not the same place. It is a new name new owner new people new Leuck new everything please don’t be confused with the old place and try this place. It’s so good and I am convinced of calling that council member in that district to do a spotlight on how good this place is you won’t regret it if you like seafood my year-old granddaughter had lobster go figure and she loved it. I had the étouffée which was great, but I wanna try everything on the menu. My other two kids had the buckets that you can create your own bucket. Let’s say you don’t like corn. You don’t like sausage you wanna make a broil of your own with shrimp head on head off the options are endless. I’ve never quite seen so many options so come on San Antonio this place has been open eight months give it a try in the new business small business a break. Enjoy the good food like we did. You won’t regret it. !! And kudos to the waitress working Friday night at 7 o’clock on 23 March you were amazing and so was chef
Seafood was good, 🍟 were great! Drinks were well made. Best Paloma I have had in a while. Need to note that they DO NOT do substitutions. Chicken strips were lack luster. Sitck with the fresh seafood.
This place is amazing! We went here for dinner tonight and will definitely be back! The seafood was so fresh and delicious. The waitress, Victoria was also amazing. We met the owner too. Loved all of them. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food we received. Thank you, Crab City!

Had the pick your own boil the food and flavor was good the amount of food was not worth the price the boil did not come with fillers like potatoes corn sausage etc like most boil do you have to pay extra and its expensive as it is will not come back.
Food and service was great...we will be coming back.. Try The shrimp po' boy...and grab sticks.. Req Mrs O..
I just eat at Crab City (it was formerly Dry Dock) and I had the fried shrimp platter and mussels. Both were delicious. If you are looking for good seafood in San Antonio, then you should make a visit to Crab City.
We had a crab boil. Great garlic butter flavor, but it felt odd that it didn't come with any fillers other than the shellfish we picked. For instance, boiled eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc. I left feeling like I needed a second meal, and this was not cheap. First place I've had a boil that didn't include the extra tid bits.
So delicious although the shrimp fried rice could use some seasoning. Our waiter was fantastic! The jalapeno margarita was excellent!

Super clean bar. There was a very sweet bartender that was staying busy and a bit less sweet, other woman working. Over all the bar and restaurant looked super clean and made me want to come back because places that serve seafood freak me out if they are not clean! Wings were a bit soggy (and I opened them right away) but I like wings enough to look past it but def could have used a little more love and crisp. Overall the sweet, pretty bartender who spoke genuinely to the customers and cleanliness saved the day! This is much better than my last visit!! And ill update this with my wings being very nice after all.

It's not Dry Dock....smaller variety of offerings. Over cooked my salmon.
I don't have anything to say.....to each is own. 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Had lunch recently, the gumbo was very unpleasant, the catfish was good.
I got what was on the menu as"Combo A" on the menu under lunch ,which says $14. Since it was 3:30 ,I guess it wouldn't be considered lunch , so I was charged $30. It does not specify a time for lunch, and I didn't see that combo elsewhere on the menu, and that is what I wanted. They should have mentioned when I pointed to that on the menu, that was not the price I would be getting...BIG difference in price. I mentioned this to the manager since he was the one checking me out, all he said was, that was a "lunch special" price which was not clear on the menu. I would have thought he would have at least offered me a discount of some sort, since they are so new still, but he did not. The meal was 1 lb. Of shrimp, heads on, 1 potato that was still semi hard 1 corn cobett, and a piece of sausage Not worth $30 especially for heads on. I was sadly disappointed since I work across the street and was hoping to make this a regular spot for lunch, but since I don't usually get my lunches til 3:30 or 4:00, I guess I won't be.
Great atmosphere and excellent service from Gabe, but the food was a huge letdown. Raw catfish, rubbery chicken strips, spoiled mozzarella sauce, soggy old corn, and “butter” that was just oil. Definitely not worth the price.
Underseasoned and underwhelming. Had some high hopes for this spot as I was finally able to stop by. The wings were cooked well and the fried rice wasn't seasoned. And they topped it off with forgetting my meal was a combo, so never received my French fries
I truly love this place. (Plate 1) 4 boudin balls with dipping sauce. The Boudin itself was great but the texture on the outside of the boudin was not good. (Plate 2) shrimp etouffee. You can taste the tomato sauce. A little strong but good. This dish fills me up. Today was my 1st time and I have plans to come back. I just need to find a dish that I truly love. Also they have a patio sitting for family and friends. With the option to sit at the bar if you're so choose that. Overall the noise level was down because we came in around late lunch time. I will give this place another try and something different to eat

Waitress was pleasant and attentive Food was ok Oysters on the half shell were fresh Poutine balls were really good (I was surprised) The bucket of seafood was decent. Good amount of shrimp One small potato Corn was typically mushy Garlic butter sauce was ok Crab legs were only disappointment, definitely frozen, meat was mushy- not terrible. But I am a seafood snob sooo take it with a grain of salt

The owner spilled an ice water on my friend as she was serving our table drinks. My friend was not offered a discount or his drink comped, even after we asked for a discount. The service was slow. The food was average & the prices were competitive.

Could not give a review of food. I arrived a little before they were supposed to open. Waited until 10 minutes after and still not open
Crab was terrible I guess they are frozen? It was super tough and only half the leg had meat! The seasoning was good but that’s it. Also one server on a Friday night I felt so bad for her I kept having to stop her while she was in the middle of something else, we didn’t even have napkins… but overall food was so disappointing. Price is ridiculous for the amount of meat we got.
Place is not handicapped friendly. Food is not fresh. Boil sauce stains hands. No gloves were offered, no wet napkins were offered. Clamchowder was water based, no crackers or bread was offered for that one. Calamari was on strips and chewy. They serve you on paper plates but give you metal utensils.
No que va nada es bueno además que los precios súper caros no se los recomiendo
Potatoes in clam chowder were way under cooked Cost $10 Fried shrimp were not cleaned Could still see vein containing -hit Showed it to the manager she replied that yes it wasn't cleaned She seemed bothered that I showed her. Return is doubtful Food quality was much better as Dry Dock
This place adds whatever tip they want Shame on yall they added over 100 dollar tip on my daughters bill we went their to eat after her basic training graduation!!! And we left a tip in cash also! The waitress was super rude!!! Please check yalls receipts they are adding extra on the tips
The worst place for seafood!!! They have a rude attitude and the food portions are miserly and very expensive
I use to go to Dry Dock. When I saw the name Crab City, I assumed they would have various crab dishes. NO BLUE CRAB. I was thinking about soft shell crab, No.They have Dungeness crab which I love. They sell it by the pound. $20.00 by the 1/2pound. They waitress could not tell me how much I would get for 1/2pound. I asked for the owner who was there. Did not come out to talk to me. They have two other restaurants. One in Odessa and one in San Angelo. Might work there butnot San Antonio I walked out.
Oysters were served warm server said because they washed them. Crawfish was brown didn't taste good. I was sick as soon as I got home
Miss the old Dry Dock. Everything is a bit too pricey for my kind of lunch. I remember a Shrimp Poboy and a Cup of Gumbo. It doesn’t look like that exists anymore. TOO BAD ! ! ! The Menu looks a bit lacking for Options.
This is a fairly new place that took over the former Dry Dock. I was the only person in there and I did not stay long enough to order. They are engaged in the illegal practice of charging a fee for paying with a DEBIT card (See the Durbin Amendment of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010). It forbids merchants to charge a processing fee for payments made with Debit cards. Debit is same as cash in that it is processed immediately. Some merchants do it because no body reports it because so few people have even heard of this law. It amounts to a fleecing of their customers and that is a sleazy business practice. I don't care how good the food is or how good the service is, I will not do business with any merchant that would treat their customers with that type of disrespect.
Food was absolutely terrible!!! Everything was nasty. I don't know how you messed up on a salad lol. The lemon pepper wings were season on the outside however the chicken itself was very Bland not seasoned at all. The fried pickles were terrible, there was no effort into that.
When you first walk in it feels alright then the waitress comes to your table and walks away before you could finish ordering. My wife had gotten the shrimp boil which was alright except the potatoes were way over cooked. As for my steak it tasted like it was microwaved, raw in the middle and hard on the ends. I do not recommend this place to anyone at all.
This place is pure trash. We ordered oysters on the half shell. They looked like they were shucked with a weed eater and a blender. Then we came across some that tasted like it came from the gut bucket under the cleaning table at the lake. When mentioned to the staff he said “ I just bring out the food I have nothing to do with that part of it” do not eat here!!
