Great pizza and pasta. Highly recommend if you are in Southtown
Great pizza, hands down the best I've tried so far in San Antonio. They have daily happy hour and can get quite busy. It's small, so if you see a line, best to try back later.
Amaze, Amaze Amaze !! I got the veggie pizza but wanted some protein, Anthony suggested I add some sausage!. It was awesome! The service there is amazing people were sweet. I'm an out of towner and I had such a fun time sitting at the bar hanging out I even got a pin for the fiesta. And because I was talking about my NJ roots, Anthony brought over pro bono some sauce and bread for me to try. My best friend's Nana would've been in love with their sauce. It was amazing! Love the Neighbourhood vibe love the great food and service. They deserve five stars and more. Next time I'm trying their chicken Parm sandwich, I heard it was amazing. Wish I was here a few more days so I can try some other stuff on the menu.
Had the chicken parm with side ceaser salad and calamari to share
My experience was amazing. We had the best customer service from Ami and also Christian… Food was on point drinks were the best and the constant checking up if we needed anything was amazing you seldom see that in a restaurant. Thank you to both associates for the courtesy And making my experience awesome
Omg!! Best Lasagna EVER!! And I'm a fat girl, I've had more lasagna than Garfield. The lasagna was moist, I could taste the loads of cheese, there was a lot of delicious meat, the pasta was cooked to perfection, and there was enough sauce to compliment everything without overpowering the other ingredients. It was a hearty portion size as well! The mozzarella triangles were crisp and cheesy! The breading was delicious and toasted to perfection! I took home a slice of cheesecake (not pictured because I inhaled it as soon as I got home). It was heaven! I could taste the butter in the graham crust and the cheesecake part was rich. I can't wait to bring my family to give the good a try. The pizza looked so yummy! I want to give the pizza a try next time!
One of our favorite pies!!!! Love happy hour too
Update: Julian's Pizza & More have made it right. Thank you Julian's Pizza for correcting the issue! Customer Satisfaction & great food! Recently came across Julian's on tiktok. Went on Friday night (date night) and placed an order for 2 salads, pizza & a glass of wine. Everyone seemed to be getting their food but us. Waited 40 min before walking up to ask if salads would be given first. We understand it was a little busy. Julian's son asked for my order number and apologized for the delay and said they would have salads right out. We finished our salads and still waiting on pizza. Went back to order another glass of wine and was told our order/pizza was not sent to the back to be made (another delay). Julian's son said they would take care of the bill. We were grateful for making it right and thanked them as we left. A few days later we noticed the bill was not taken care of as transaction went thru the bank. Food was good but service was horrible. At the end, their word to make things right weren't fulfilled. Will eat pizza, salads and wine somewhere else
This place is amazing
We've eaten at 2 other locations and the food is very good. But the pizza at this location was far and away the best. The crust is PERFECT! Crispy bottom and crust, chewy middle, just the right char.
Great spot the server Sylis was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely come back the pizza was awesome 🍕
The staff was super nice and welcoming, the appetizer mozzarella was yummy and the Pepe’s pizza was great! Happy to see this spot in the neighborhood
The cheesecake is amazing! We loved the all the meats pizza also
I don’t write reviews often, but this is a local gem. Love the food, atmosphere, kind service, and music. Perfect ambiance for a local italian spot. cannot wait to come back
Charlie is such a great amazing bartender. Very friendly and makes amazing drinks. Will def be back to visit our new friend.
Really great tasting pizza. Loved the atmosphere and how quick their service was.
Haley was so helpful and supportive of our choices!!! She made our experience that much better, such a great personality to have around!!!!
The Sam’s grinder and pizza were awesome plus the meatballs are probably the best in San Antonio.
This place is amazing! Great vibes, amazing pizza, and their lasagna is 100% 🍕
Absolutely love this place, Haley Was amazing and a joy to talk to and she was very helpful((: food was delicious!
Absolutely amazing italian food! Earned a life long customer for sure!
New pizza place in walking distance.....great food!
Great service and food! Glad they are in Southtown!
Great pizza, great vibes and great service!
Food was incredible, sylus was the best waiter!
Authentic! Food and service is top notch.
I AM IN LOVE. With the Subs here.
U can't go wrong at JULIAN'S
So delicious!
Excited can't wait!
Amazing!!!
A new Southtown New York style pizzeria with outdoor seating, Julian's was a hit. Fabulous Cesar salad and a pizza fresh from the oven. Service impeccable and a full bar menu. Orders are taken inside but the staff is very congenial. A winner.
We’ve been here a few times now and we are so, so happy to have a killer spot like this in the southtown / king William neighborhood finally. Julian and team are SO warm and welcoming, and the food has been outstanding both times. Great cocktails too and love the vibe of the place. We’ll be walking up the street to you guys again soon ❤️
First time there on a Sunday afternoon it was great they had a football game on TV and the Spurs on. Bartender was quick to get our drinks very friendly knowledgeable about the Italian beers even gave me a sample of one. The food was to die for my wife and I split an Italian Sandwich the “Callahan ” best I ever had we also split the Stromboli perfect. I will be back to catch another game and enjoy some good food and cold Italian beer.
We got the Sam’s grinder, chicken parm, Caesar salad, crispy mozzarella, and tiramisu. Everything was fresh, high quality, and delicious. In addition, the service was excellent. It genuinely seemed like everyone was happy to be there and make sure every guest had a good experience. I would recommend trying this place to anyone I know.
It’s nice to see San Antonio opening up new restaurants like this with good food and good vibes! We got the 16” pepperoni pizza with the hot honey and it was delicious, it had a really good flavor. The service was good and the restaurant has plenty of outside and inside seating space. Definitely recommend checking it out!!
We stopped in here real quick. And we ordered the sandwich. It was so delicious and the bread was thin and lots of stuffing and cheese. It came with a bowl of marinera sauce. Come with an appetite cause this sandwich is great big.
First time here and I’m very impressed with the food ! It was very tasty, highly recommend this place. And they have $4 pizza by the slice everyday 3-6 pm!! I lasagna and my girlfriend had the Spicy Rigatoni , we will definitely be back !!
Amazing!!! Can’t say enough about how great the experience was… The pizza was fantastic. The meatballs were wonderful and the deserts were heavenly. I highly recommended the tiramisu and cheesecake.
Great experience, Tina was more than accommodating and helpful. Delicious pasta that follows the same if not better standards than the original location. Good lunch specials. I will be returning.
Great little neighborhood restaurant and bar! They also have a small market section with beer, wine and Italian items. Pizza is so good and the lunch specials are worth it. Definitely will be back!
I like this new neighborhood restaurant. The food is great, the service is outstanding. Most importantly for me is the fact that they are consistent each time my wife and I have been there, four times now. I hope they thrive in this area.
I was blown away with how good the food was here. The margarita pizza was outstanding. The marinara sauce has tons of flavor. Beautiful restaurant and the service was very lovely 👌👌👌👌👌
Love this spot!! Abraham was our bartender both times and was incredible and really makes you feel welcome! He makes great drinks and the food is incredible!!
Order: (1) Lasagne lunch special (1) 12" Margherita Pizza. I ordered for pick up by phone. They will have DoorDash delivery service soon. The service was great as well as the food. I am so glad Julian opened a shop near me as I used to go to the Embassy Center location since the early 2000's. I hope this added location does really well for a long time. They need a parking directional sign for the back parking.
Really enjoyed Julian’s. The staff was friendly, and the place is super cute with a great family vibe. We also loved that the outdoor area is dog-friendly. We ordered the Margherita pizza, Sam’s Grinder sandwich, chicken parm, a Caesar salad, and two beers. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The prices were very reasonable, and they even have happy hour on the weekends. We’ll definitely be back! 🍕🍺
Love love love this place. Great family restaurant with quaint atmosphere on the inside. Can get great home style Italian food, reasonably priced. The pizzas are amazing, and I also recommend the calzone! Easy for a quick lunch or weeknight dinner. Fun place to sit and gab with friends over drinks or watch a football game. Cute full service bar inside. More modernized atmosphere compared to the one on new braunfels in Alamo heights. Plenty of outdoor seating.
We had been wanting to try this pizza place just south of downtown since it opened, and it didn’t disappoint! The lunch pizza and salad special is huge! The sauce is flavorful and the meat tastes great. I do love the thin crust that holds up to the sauce for the whole time eating. Make sure you go hungry! The service was fantastic! Very informative and attentive. Go to this pizza place on Your way downtown for any event or attraction.
Great little spot in Southtown! Nice vibe, small, but thought out selection of beer/wine, liquor. Everything here is done in excellent taste. Speaking of which, the pizza is great! Only meant to have a slice or two and take the rest home, but nope. Ate the whole thing and was glad. Staff is friendly, place is clean, and there's a bit of a market for some select products that pairs with their menu. Will be back for sure.
Pride of ownership with the most amazing staff. A very well run restaurant that is clean and any restaurant owner out there should visit to see what a great team looks like. The food was great as well, yummy meatballs, great pasta and the stromboli was amazing. We'll be back for sure to try the pizza and enjoy the company with the amazing staff. 5 +
Julian's new spot in Southtown is a fresh take on his other restaurants. Love the bright and open setup. The bar is a nice addition to compliment the elevated offerings from the kitchen. Go check out this great addition to Southtown.
Had to take a few mins just to say how good this place was. We were in the area and stopped in on a whim, and are glad we did. This was some of the best pizza we’ve had in SA. We got “All the Meats”. Light crispy crust, flavorful sauce, great options. It really hit the spot! We also tried the pasta which was great as well. If you are looking for the real deal, definitely give it a shot. Customer service and atmosphere was A+ as well. They have a great wine selection and pricing was great for what they offer. We will be back!
Had dinner there this evening with my son and was very impressed! This place is very welcoming. The employees were the best. The food was amazing! We will be back soon! We had calamari and pizza with a Cesar salad❤️
There’s another pizza place in Southtown but Julian’s does have so much more! The pizza was delicious, a little burnt on the bottom but still tasted great. I enjoyed both of the spritzers on the happy hour menu (they had happy hour everyday! But only cocktails), and had a glass of Chianti. The Caesar salad was tasty. We loved the capers! We went on a Saturday night at 3:30 and by the time we left, almost every table was taken. Thank you Christian and Charlie for taking care of us at the bar. Julian was out and about too!! See you again, soon. Welcome to the neighborhood.
2nd time here already, can’t get enough. Pizza selections are always a hard choice for me, they’re all tempting. Perfect location. The 3 meat is a must
This spot is amazing, their happy hour includes a huge $4 pizza and discounted cocktails, beer and wine. The bartender Abraham was so welcoming and super social! Awesome spot to check out!

Was so hungry forgot to take pictures but we ordered the calamari and the red sauce was excellent. The Callahan classic sub which was great but so large we shared one half the of the sandwich! Gina's Sicilian salad was also great and large enough to share.
Closest to pizza from New York itself. Crunch, cheesy and oil drip ratio is perfect. Cute place for grabbing pizza in a cozy spot. This is their fourth location. Eat inside or dining on the patio too.
Super cute restaurant with outdoor seating. Everyone there was super nice. The pizza is just right, not too crisp, cheesy, flavorful and doesn’t burn the roof of your mouth! Have some cheese cake while you’re there, you won’t be disappointed. Great lunch special with generous slices.
Beautiful new spot in Southtown, the restaurant itself is so cute, the service was fantastic, and the food was great! I especially loved our cocktails & pizza was amazing! 5 stars all around. You also can’t beat the happy hour pricing! Such a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.
The is place was excellent. We came on a busy Friday night and got great service and food. We also had two drinks that were great — well made and fairly priced. The pizza and salads were really good. They came out fast even though they were quite busy. Biggest takeaway was the staff’s friendly service. Everybody — from bartenders to guy taking order at register, to roaming people cleaning tables and filling waters — was just so friendly and nice. If you eat out in downtown SA regularly, you know this is a rare thing to encounter. We will be back for sure!
If you haven’t been to Julian’s, you’re seriously missing out. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you, warm, inviting, and full of that classic neighborhood charm that makes you want to stay awhile. The ambiance alone sets the tone, but the food? That’s what truly seals the deal. As a self-proclaimed pizza snob, I’m picky, extremely picky, about where I spend my calories. But Julian’s delivers, and then some. The crust is perfectly balanced with the right amount of crisp and chew, the toppings are fresh and thoughtfully paired, and every bite reminds you why great pizza feels like an art form. I would recommend this place 1,000 times over, no hesitation. A special shoutout goes to Christian, the manager, who is one of the nicest guys you’ll meet. He runs the place with genuine care, and it shows in the service, the consistency, and the overall experience. Bottom line: Julian’s hits the mark on food, atmosphere, and hospitality. Whether you're a fellow pizza snob or just someone who appreciates a great meal, this place deserves a permanent spot on your go-to list.
We had a delicious lunch at Julian’s. Loved the pizza. Ingredients were fresh and high quality. Sicilian salad is a must. We ordered the lasagna and it did not disappoint. We will definitely return Loved the music too.
Such delicious pizza! And the drinks are good. I had a Hugo Spritz, very refreshing. Beer on tap. I will return for happy hour. Also I want to try just about everything on the menu. The vibe and decor is very nice, crisp and blue.
A true family-owned Southtown gem. Julian didn’t miss a beat on the menu and they deliver high-quality products with incredible flavors and generous portion sizes. Surprisingly great parking for the area, which makes the visit easy and enjoyable. Love the location with a view of the Tower of the Americas, plus the amazing outdoor patio and bar setup are perfect for kicking back. Friendly, attentive service and clean bathrooms seal the deal. Julian’s has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Southtown. A must try! 🍕

Kids were in a pizza mood after swimming in the pool, so we tried Julian's because of their reviews. Pizza was pretty good and alot better than pizza hut or dominoes lol the crust was toasty(a little too toasty on one side) and the pizza had just the right amount of sauce not over powering and the cheese just right.
Great chill atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good tasting pizza. Wish they carried local San Antonio beer on tap! Pizza was little greasy.
The pepperoni pizza is 5⭐ worthy. We ordered a 12" pie, excellent. Next time we'll try the pizza by the slice, it looked delicious. The calamari was just okay. The salads we had were good. The service was great. We did go after the lunch crowd. We had no trouble finding a parking spot at the time we went in. The place was immaculate inside. Everything was clean and neatly organized. I will definitely come back and try the other items on their menu.
Very nice Pizza joint... more on the higher class but def a great spot. I dont like the ordering you order then I guess sit down or you sit down? Idk I ended up order a pie to go plain cheese and it was very good! Def will be back.

Its ok. Tried something new and not a fan of calamari. We had to ask for water and request to remove some plates from our table for more room. Took my daughter for her birthday dinner to her favorite spot, totally not mine.
This was our first time at this restaurant. Over all it was ok, our order was incorrect. The order had to be redone, which I don't like when that happens, right the first time makes a better customer experience. Lastly I was looking at the desert area and there was a hair on top one of the desert boxes. Didn't care for that. Not in a hurry to go back.
Cute little joint in southtown. My wife and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here last week with plans to return with the in-laws over the holidays. The marg pizza and chicken parm was very good, and the cocktails the bartender recommended hit it out of the park. I did however see one taller employee(who I'm assuming was a manager)with a mustache being very flirty with the younger counter girl with red hair. It almost seemed like he was upset he had to stop flirting with her for a moment to take our order. He also yelled at one of the cooks loud enough for us to hear it in the dining room. Although the food was good, this kind of makes us not want to return.

Not service dog friendly
Being told to move over so they can take someone else with a attitude does not sit well for me. And the pizza is not as big as people say.
I was very disappointed with our experience at this pizza restaurant. While the staff technically provided service, it was rushed and unprofessional. Although the restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m., we were made to feel unwelcome starting around 9:30. A staff member came to our table to ask if we needed a box, then returned shortly after to ask again if we needed another box, which felt like pressure to leave rather than attentive service. This was our second visit, and unfortunately the food was disappointing both times. On our first visit, we ordered by the slice and the pizza was extremely greasy, which we assumed was due to it being reheated. This time, we ordered a large pizza made to order, and it was still just as greasy. Between the quality of the food and the rude, unprofessional behavior from the staff, we will not be returning.
So disappointing 😢! Looking to have a party reservation of 25 people for a birthday party because we are patrons of the N New Braunfels location. Hostess was super nice took out order and let manager know about party and would come talk to us. No one ever came to speak to us. Was a Saturday at around 2-3. Not busy at all. I guess did not need our business or we didn’t look worth coming to talk to. Went across the street to La focaccia booked party room and party.
Love Julian's BUT they do not have gluten free pizza or pasta like the other locations. They have salads, which are flavorful, but only breaded options of chicken to add. Very disappointed that I couldn't get a gluten free pizza or pasta like the other locations.
