Love love love this place. Great family restaurant with quaint atmosphere on the inside. Can get great home style Italian food, reasonably priced. The pizzas are amazing, and I also recommend the calzone! Easy for a quick lunch or weeknight dinner. Fun place to sit and gab with friends over drinks or watch a football game. Cute full service bar inside. More modernized atmosphere compared to the one on new braunfels in Alamo heights. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Great little spot in Southtown! Nice vibe, small, but thought out selection of beer/wine, liquor. Everything here is done in excellent taste. Speaking of which, the pizza is great! Only meant to have a slice or two and take the rest home, but nope. Ate the whole thing and was glad. Staff is friendly, place is clean, and there's a bit of a market for some select products that pairs with their menu. Will be back for sure.

We had been wanting to try this pizza place just south of downtown since it opened, and it didn’t disappoint! The lunch pizza and salad special is huge! The sauce is flavorful and the meat tastes great. I do love the thin crust that holds up to the sauce for the whole time eating. Make sure you go hungry! The service was fantastic! Very informative and attentive. Go to this pizza place on Your way downtown for any event or attraction.

Had to take a few mins just to say how good this place was. We were in the area and stopped in on a whim, and are glad we did. This was some of the best pizza we’ve had in SA. We got “All the Meats”. Light crispy crust, flavorful sauce, great options. It really hit the spot! We also tried the pasta which was great as well. If you are looking for the real deal, definitely give it a shot. Customer service and atmosphere was A+ as well. They have a great wine selection and pricing was great for what they offer. We will be back!

There’s another pizza place in Southtown but Julian’s does have so much more! The pizza was delicious, a little burnt on the bottom but still tasted great. I enjoyed both of the spritzers on the happy hour menu (they had happy hour everyday! But only cocktails), and had a glass of Chianti. The Caesar salad was tasty. We loved the capers! We went on a Saturday night at 3:30 and by the time we left, almost every table was taken. Thank you Christian and Charlie for taking care of us at the bar. Julian was out and about too!! See you again, soon. Welcome to the neighborhood.

Was so hungry forgot to take pictures but we ordered the calamari and the red sauce was excellent. The Callahan classic sub which was great but so large we shared one half the of the sandwich! Gina's Sicilian salad was also great and large enough to share.

Closest to pizza from New York itself. Crunch, cheesy and oil drip ratio is perfect. Cute place for grabbing pizza in a cozy spot. This is their fourth location. Eat inside or dining on the patio too.

They came out fast even though they were quite busy. Biggest takeaway was the staff’s friendly service. Everybody — from bartenders to guy taking order at register, to roaming people cleaning tables and filling waters — was just so friendly and nice. If you eat out in downtown SA regularly, you know this is a rare thing to encounter. We will be back for sure!

Such delicious pizza! And the drinks are good. I had a Hugo Spritz, very refreshing. Beer on tap. I will return for happy hour. Also I want to try just about everything on the menu. The vibe and decor is very nice, crisp and blue.

A new Southtown New York style pizzeria with outdoor seating, Julian's was a hit. Fabulous Cesar salad and a pizza fresh from the oven. Service impeccable and a full bar menu. Orders are taken inside but the staff is very congenial. A winner.

Very nice Pizza joint... more on the higher class but def a great spot. I dont like the ordering you order then I guess sit down or you sit down? Idk I ended up order a pie to go plain cheese and it was very good! Def will be back.

Cute little joint in southtown. My wife and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here last week with plans to return with the in-laws over the holidays.The marg pizza and chicken parm was very good, and the cocktails the bartender recommended hit it out of the park. I did however see one taller employee(who I'm assuming was a manager)with a mustache being very flirty with the younger counter girl with red hair. It almost seemed like he was upset he had to stop flirting with her for a moment to take our order. He also yelled at one of the cooks loud enough for us to hear it in the dining room. Although the food was good, this kind of makes us not want to return.

I was very disappointed with our experience at this pizza restaurant. While the staff technically provided service, it was rushed and unprofessional. Although the restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m., we were made to feel unwelcome starting around 9:30. A staff member came to our table to ask if we needed a box, then returned shortly after to ask again if we needed another box, which felt like pressure to leave rather than attentive service. This was our second visit, and unfortunately the food was disappointing both times. On our first visit, we ordered by the slice and the pizza was extremely greasy, which we assumed was due to it being reheated. This time, we ordered a large pizza made to order, and it was still just as greasy. Between the quality of the food and the rude, unprofessional behavior from the staff, we will not be returning.
