I love Red Robin, they have amazing fries and delicious burgers, but the one thing is the drinks are a tad very sugary. Usually have to water them down with something.

We’ve tried other locations, but this one at The Rim really sets the standard with its excellent service and attention to detail. If you’re in the area, it’s well worth a visit!

My family and I were looking for a quick place to eat before the movie and ran into this establishment. From the time in to the time we were given our bill, the waiter had the upmost respect for us. Great establishment and wonderful welcoming staff!

First time I've been here. I really enjoyed it. We went for lunch. 11am seemed perfect. Not a lot of people, and we got a quick seat. Loved the bottomless fries. My coworkers and I loved the food and service. I really love the clean and upbeat decor. Our waitress was friendly, very attentitive and pleasant. The food was out fast and we were able to eat and get back to the office on our hour lunch. My coworker had the gluten free mushroom swiss burger and i had this one with a fried egg on top. Both burgers and fries were delicious. I will be back and I will bring my coworkers and friends.

Castillo was so wonderful. The restaurant was cold so he very pleasantly agreed to wait on in outside. He got our order perfect and was just amazingly friendly. The food was good and the drinks cold.

What can I say that hasn't been said about this establishment. Quality food, fast service, family environment. Only located in the nicest locations. It's a little pricey but the earn $$$ with the quality, service, assortment of food. My girl got a blta and I was impressed by the croissant type bread and the combination on flavors. This Red Robin was so good and super clean. Such a good place to get burgers both for vegetarians and meat eaters. Great place for a quick lunch. Great service and I think the best burgers. Unlimited fries is an added bonus if you ever get to that point. I get so full on the first round never had to reorder. Just a yummy place.

My husband and I visited for lunch on Sunday afternoon and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were promptly greeted by three friendly hosts and seated immediately. Within a minute of being seated, our waitress, Amory, came to introduce herself and take our drink and appetizer order. She was attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout our meal. We ordered onion rings, two burgers with substitutions, and bottomless fries. The food was excellent, and the kitchen executed our substitutions exactly as requested. Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted great. Amory did an outstanding job clearing our plates promptly and ensuring our iced teas were always refilled. Her service was attentive without being intrusive, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. The restaurant and restrooms were also very clean, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely be returning.

The cheeseburger and fries were fantastic. Our server Joshua was really incredible. He was refilling our drinks before we had to ask and was very helpful to my mother with her food selection. Thanks Josh for making this an enjoyable mother & son lunch. See y'all again soon.

I've been to Red Robin twice in my life. The first time was 15-20 years ago. I remembered the burgers being good. Well today I went back and found the burger, fries, & salad to be delicious. Service was good, but did not go at a busy time. My only complaint is the facility is way overdue for a remodeling.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this young man has made me consider. I don’t usually go to Red Robin because it just never crossed me and my family’s minds. A couple days ago Josh Colvin made it more than worth it. He was more than happy to go through the ENTIRE MENU. That was my first shock. Giving small details about flavor suggestions and what to get based on the rest of our day. From being patient with my kids to going above and beyond to give my mother a chance to ask all the questions because she was unsure really gave me hope about hospitality. Whatever this young man end up doing for a career he is going to be great. Thank you again Josh.

Joshua Colvin is a champion amongst hospitality staff. He was our server this evening, myself and my three kids, and his energy, vibes attentiveness are unmatched. He was proactive and efficient and just made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. We already love Red Robin, but Joshua kicked it all up a notch, so much so that my daughter wrote him a thank you note and wouldn’t agree to leave until she was able to hand deliver it to make sure he got it. Food, service and atmosphere are all 5/5, but Joshua was an easy 6/5.

While vacationing in San Antonio, my Girlfriend & I decided to go get lunch at Red Robin at The Rim. The restaurant was clean, nice atmosphere, good food & the service was excellent. Special shout out to our server Josh, he was so friendly, congenial & quick to take care of our every need. Special kudos to John Johnson as well. He happily greeted us when we arrived & showed us to our table. The tile floor was a tad slippery & with my neuropathy it caused me concern walking to the restroom. John noticed my hesitation, hurried over & let me hold his arm & walked with me to the restroom. He even was nearby when I needed a helping hand returning to the table. Both Josh & John are awesome & Red Robin should be grateful to have them as employees!

Haven't been to this location in so long, we decided to go in after some shopping. It wasn't too busy so we got seated right away. Our server Joshua was very attentive 👍. I ordered the fish&chips while the rest of my family ordered chicken meals. My plate was so delicious 😋 . All of our food came out hot&fresh. Spent about $75 for our family of 5. I personally love going to this Red Robins, it doesn’t matter if i go for lunch or dinner it is always such a nice atmosphere! I love getting the Haystack Double Burger with sweet potato fries and campfire sauce. I also love getting their Ocean Blue Patron Margarita! It looks cute and it tastes even better!

We went for dinner today. It wasn’t very busy. It seemed like they may have some staff shortage but the girl at the bar was super sweet and took our order within 5 mins. We always get the onion ring tower it’s amazing and must get the red Robbin sauce to go with it. Also come with ranch. I got the pig out burger which is so good. I get it every time I go. It comes with this bacon jam that’s amazing. Husband tried the new monster burger and he said it was delicious and was so full after we left. Don’t forget the bottomless fries not that we need them because they have us a lot with our food. I tried the garlic Parmesan fries and they were okay not what I was expecting tbh and wouldn’t get them again but definitely something different to try. The regular fries were outstanding as always. We always love coming here and have never had bad food or service. We even went for my bachelors degree graduation dinner because I love it so much. Highly recommend if your in the area for sure

This review is actually from my visit back on 06/06/21. I was going to TopGolf but they had a waitlist backed up about an hour or so so we popped over to Red Robin to grab some lunch while we wait. Our party of three was seated immediately despite the restaurant being quite busy. Our waitress (sadly I don’t recall her name) was kind enough to bring us some fresh fries while we waited for our food to come out. Our mini tower of onion rings was perfect - hot, fresh & delicious! Our burgers came out at a good speed and were hot, tasty, and exactly as we ordered. We had regular, sweet potato & garlic parmesan fries and enjoyed them all! Our waitress was attentive & friendly so A+ for customer service. Overall, a great experience & we will definitely be back.

"A burger is a burger!" I honestly love their fries, especially when you put their seasoning salt! I am in love with their Sautéed 'shroom Burger!!! The waiter was friendly. I don't have anything bad to say about Red Robin's. Their burgers are delicious!

I had the breakfast burger to go. The wait was about 10 minutes. The burger and egg were cooked perfectly. The bun was good. The onion rings were okay, I would buy them again, but other places have better.

Went here for my daughters 16th birthday. The service was great. My drinks (bar drinks) came after the food so that was a bit slow but over all it was good

First time visitor and was really unimpressed. For a place that advertises "bottomless fries", I saw the bottom a whole lot during my visit. Was served a basket, half filled, with fries for 3 people. Emptied out quick... no refill offered (but she took the basket). Got fries with our burgers. Again... emptied the fries (no refill offered). Burger was good but to have no fries refilled at all during my visit was a big joke if you ask me. For the amount you pay, that server needs to be drowning you in fries throughout the time you're there. Probably the first n last time I go there.

Was yummy but for some reason they purposely water down the apple juice? When we asked the server, she said they always do it like that. If I have to pay full price for a drink, then why do I get it half full with water? Server was attentive and polite. Other than the apple juice, my family and I enjoyed our meal.

Excellent food and service! Quickly seated and menu questioned answered by knowledgable waitstaff. Food was brought to the table, correctly placed (without asking who had what), and was all the right temperature. Taste was excellent and quantity of food was spot-on for our hungry group. Priced fairly. Definitely will make a return trip!!

This location hires the best servers. They’re always attentive, kind, polite and have a great memory. I go there with a group and they bring everyone the correct order without any confusion. I don’t eat french fries as a rule, but I eat the steak fries there because they are not greasy and they are served hot and fresh. I can’t say that I like much on the menu, but I have food issues such as gluten intolerance and the only thing I found I could eat (and like) is a tavern burger, but that’s just me. I’ve had several other things that I just wasn’t crazy about, but I’m pretty picky. And of course have the gluten issue. I didn’t give a lot of stars for atmosphere because it can get quite noisy and I’m there with a group to discuss books and it’s really, really, really hard to hear the other people so for that reason I don’t like the atmosphere, but for someone who just wanted to talk to one person and sat far away from the noisier tables, it could be totally fine. Can’t find better servers anywhere.

Between whataburger n here I give the slight edge to red Robin burger. Value wise tho, whataburger wins. If u not worried about price and you'd rather have mac n cheese with your burger go to redrobin :). Bathroom needs updated. U can't have Wendy's bathrooms nicer than yours redrobin.

First time eating at a Red Robins and I thought it was very good. The waitress was great and the Guacamole Bacon burger was delicious. I will definitely go to another one if given the chance.

Had lunch today with my sister and we were both impressed by the service. From the friendly small talk from the host and the phenomenal service by Jeff C, we had 5-star service. When you come to a burger chain, you don't expect the level of speed, attention, and pleasantries like what Jeff gave us today. He was incredibly prompt, checked on us frequently, offered refills before we ran out, and offered to-go containers for our leftovers before we even asked. We'd come back, and we'd be lucky if we got Jeff again!

Overall wait was a decent amount for a busy Friday. Food was great and the endless fries are always great. Would definitely go again.

Service was good. Their draught beer was not at the right temperature so they could not serve any. The kids corn dogs were delicious. They serve a pretty standard burger. The firey ghost burger was hot but not crazy spicy. The cheese is what was hottest. I got the jalapenos raw, not fried and they had great flavor. The garlic fries are meh, stick with standard fries.

Big hit with the kids! They had never heard of unlimited fries! The food and service were good. I forget to take a picture of the onion tower but it was really good and was what I was craving in the first place!!

I've been to this location many times over the years. Red Robin as a chain restaurant has been one of my favorites. I personally love the bottomless sides. The menu has changed over the years, but there's still a good selection. The Red Tavern Double was my go to cuz it was the least expensive option. They still have this option though the prices has increased. But still 10 bucks for a burger, side and drink, is not bad at all. This location is really dated and looks a bit run down. But I don't see Red Robin upgrading this place any time soon. Still it's got the old charm intact. I still love the taste of the burgers here and I'm still a big fan of the steak fries. I'll definitely keep visiting Red Robin.

We haven’t had Red Robin in years because most of the locations near us had closed down. We had to swing by! The service was great, from the front host to our waiter, David. However, the fries were so salty- I wish we asked for it unseasoned as there is a bottle of extra seasoning on each table. We couldn’t even finish our serving of fries to take advantage of the bottomless fries. It was too salty for us. The burgers were great, but they feel very heavy/oily afterwards. We also took advantage of their app promotion to get a free appetizer. It was super easy to do! We got the free onion tower and it was yummy! Such a great deal.

Update; We came here for lunch today, December 19th. My previous review I gave it 5 stars, but because of today, I dropped it to 4 stars. We asked for a table for 5 and they gave us a table for 4. We saw larger tables and asked the hostess if we could either push two tables together or move to a larger table. She said she would have to ask her manager and until he approves the right size table to fit our needs that we would have to wait up front for 5-10 minutes. They ended up seating us into a corner booth that was ok, but a bit cramped. About 30 seconds later they sat a party of 5 at the table was asked for. Very rude and disrespectful of them. The waiter was very nice but extremely slow. The food took forever to get and it was barely warm. It must have been ready for a little while before it was brought to us. The onion rings on the tower were overcooked to burnt. The burgers were dry and the turkey BLT, had very little bacon. We came here on May 4th for dinner and it was our first time to this location. Everything was great. Well cooked, seasoned and flavorful. We all enjoyed our food and the service was very good. We will definitely return.

Had the sautéed 'shroom burger with steamed broccoli. The burger was a little greasy but overall was tasty. The steamed broccoli was perfect steamed.

The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. My reason for rating it a 3 is because overall the restaurant felt dirty and the food was mediocre. My shoes were sticking to the floor. I changed my chair out because there was a dirty footprint in it. It’s pretty run down looking. We did have to send two of the kids Mac and cheese back because it was ice cold. They fixed it quickly. The other food ordered wasn’t bad. It wasn’t great, but certainly edible. My husbands Royal Burger was especially good and the kids loved the pretzel appetizer.

The inside was nicely decorated and clean, the bathroom was clean as well, but on the small side. I just don't understand why all these restaurants have super small bathrooms. Our waiter was very friendly and good at his job. However, I don't think I will be returning, the prices were a bit high. I just don't think the burgers were big enough for $14 a pop.

They have a lot of specialty burgers that really sound good, but they are just so-so. And it gets expensive when you travel down that path, so be forewarned. However, they have some burgers on special right now that offered “all day, every day.” Try their $6.99 Tavern Lineup – each with bottomless fries. Taco Tavern Double Sir Acha Tavern Double (I know it’s spelled wrong, but this is their attempt at being cute) Red's Tavern Double Burger Service is decent and attentive. I chose the Vegan Burger in a lettuce wrap, with bottomless broccoli on the side. The Vegan Burger wasn’t too bad, but it was $11.68 BEFORE tip! And since it was listed on the special item insert, there were no prices listed. I was so surprised when I got my check. It was DEFINITELY not worth the price and again, the other specialty burgers can get pricey too. Stick with the $6.99 Tavern Lineup.

Food was amazing but our server... Not so much. She only checked on us once (drive by.. You doing ok? She didn't stop for an answer) and then we had to wait 25 minutes for our bill. No one should have to wait that long to pay.

Service was great. Milkshake was not. Really weird texture & consistency. My 13yr old milkshake lover wouldn't have more than one sip. The fries that came with my fish and chips were not hot, or warm. The replacements were perfect. Fish was ok, felt like it needed some salt or flavor in the batter, but seemed fresh, moist and flaky. No lemons were served with it initially but a request was all it took. I enjoyed the parmesan crispy Brussels spouts, but my daughter thought they were too bitter so some of the generous-sized serving went to waste, not their fault, but just know it's a sharing-sized portion. The donut tower desert was very tasty!

If you've been to Red Robbin before that's not a lot of difference amongst them other than a few details. The service here was great, and fast for as busy as it was when I came here. The burgers are pretty good. The fries were a little undermanned if you know what I mean and the mozzarella sticks and onion rings were fried a little too long. Either that or the oil needs to be swapped. But other than that, not a bad place to grab a burger.

Are the bottomless fries really bottomless? The 🔥 BurN🔥 love 🍔 , was 7/10 for overall taste n spice. We where seated in 15min on a weekend that was a + for a family of 8. Overall great experience with this location, waitress was very attentive n pleasant.

First time at this location, great customer service. The host recommended the hamburger, I decided to try it. My hamburger patty could have been cooked a little longer. Our server was outstanding but failed to ask how we liked our patty. I prefer mine well done. Good size meal. The price was reasonable. Definitely a hamburger place. Steak fries were delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try other items on their menu.

Food was great but our server was trash. He did see my empty drink quickly and said he would be right back. Didn't see him again until our food came out. Started walking away and I had to ask for a drink. Then still took him 5 mins to come back with a drink. Wanted more fries but had to ask another server for them. Then waited for almost 15 mins to get a check but never saw him. Walked to the front to pay and hostess took 5 mins to track down my server. Then he was super polite like trying to seal in a big tip. Won't return.

My family an I ate at this Red Robin for the first time, however we will not be coming back. The place was not crowded at all yet it took over an hour for our order to be brought to us. Along with being charged $3.50 for an impossible patty that was not on the burger unless the little impossible flag cost that much. I would like to say thank you for thank you to the manager (I think that’s who it was that brought out the food). Ari our waitress was not very helpful or attentive **UPDATE** Red Robin replied and ask to discuss this in greater detail. I have emailed the address they have provided and still to this date no reply from them.

Red Robin is pretty basic food atmosphere is generally the same at every location. Service was good. My veggie burger was pretty nasty so next time I will get an impossible burger. Their fries are always jamming though

I've always loved Red Robin restaurants, but this one, not really a fan. My waitress was nice and gave good service but management, on the other hand, was not too nice. I had a coupon for a free kids meal, which I used. The email says I can use it as long as I make a $4.99 purchase. Management had other comments about it, they wanted me to purchase an entree in order to use it...thankfully the waitress applied it anyways, we had gotten an appetizer and she stated she had to beg him to add it on. Doesn't sound like a very nice place, will not be coming to this location.

So first and foremost, we are regulars here at least when it comes to eating out. Another family unit of our party has been here multiple times. Red Robin is great and we have never had an issue, until now. We came from Pin Stack up the road for a birthday party, 2 of the kids and one of the adults and headed to Red Robin at 12:00. The last family unit of our party had another birthday party to go to in New Braunfels. Eating between 12:00 and 13:00 sounds reasonable right? We were a party of 11 - 5 adults and 6 kids, not that bad of a party. However, the server Averie seemed like she was either overwhelmed, new, or not a good waitress - something seemed off. First, we ordered Endless fries and drinks (mostly water with lemon, beer, and Endless rootbeer floats for the kids). The drinks came out in a decent amount of time. Then we ordered our food, and I ordered a margarita. Well time went by, the rootbeer floats have been drunk and the fries are gone, now these are "bottomless/endless" So we asked for more fries and refills on the rootbeer floats. The food was finally ready for us at 13:30. Remember a section of our party was in a time crunch… They immediately asked for to-go boxes and packed their lunch. Now as they are leaving the refill floats finally show up with the Margarita and the endless fries…. Adding insult to injury, the refill fries were warmer than the food we got. All of it was cold and the bread was hard, like it was sitting under a heat lamp and forgotten, till it wasn’t…. When then asked for more mac n cheese, oranges, and coleslaw for the kids who were staying, since again it is bottomless. When she came back with the oranges and coleslaw she had to wait for more mac n cheese. The manager who was walking around, took the dirty plates, gave us lids for our sauces and got the mac n cheese. So I know it was not backed up in the kitchen. Our server came back, stated she would "check on the mac n cheese" we told her the manager took care of it, but we did ask for extra sauces for the fries, someone else was the one who delivered them to us. The manager paid more attention to us in 15 min than the waitress did the entire time we were there. Now yes I understand that she had other tables, but with all the other issues stacking up. The food being served cold, the "bottomless" foods and empty waters not getting refilled. She kept blaming the bar for the house Margarita comes from a slushy machine (by the way tasted like a lemon lime drink with no alcohol in it…… but the bar was quick with the beer and the first round of rootbeer floats) and the kitchen was behind on making fries and when we informed her that there are 3 birthday boys in this party and all she says (in kind of a sarcastic tone) “congratulations” to the adult and none of the kids, then something is obviously very wrong. Not a lie to say that 1 hour into waiting we almost paid what was brought to us (A beer and 5 Rootbeer floats, endless fries are marked as free) and went to BJ’s across the street. One of the birthday boys (who was turning9) was heart broken, and asked his mom why no one sang to him. Our family always has tipped based on service and we tip over 20%. This experience had the whole family wanting to leave no tip. Fortunately for the waitress, we just couldn’t do that. No matter how upset we all were… We ended up leaving a 5% tip, the lowest we have ever left.

I been to Red Robin a few times. When they first opened in SA till recently. They have a special bottomless fries and drink burger meal for 9.99 then they it you download the app you get a free appetizer with a 10$ purchase. See where I'm going here... So already lost a star for that. Bottles fries sounds great if your server wasn't in visual sight playing around with the manager while you wait for another round of fries. Lost another star for not being attentive. If you're like me you eat your fries first then start in on the burger. Drive comes around wee mention we would like more fries. He disappears for a while I mean awhile comes back with a bigger plate of fries. But my burger is done my drink is empty. Why not start customers off with big portion of fries. Lost another star. Red Robin has really fell off. The atmosphere was so quiet like a library no soft music no chatter. I actually mentored it to my family their is no ambiance no vibe. Just a quiet cafeteria. Lame would not recommend it deleted the app.l as well. The Rim Location

3/17/25 this isn't even about the food but rather the bar cashier Jessica who had the stankiest attitude the moment I walked in. She listed to nothing I asked when letting her know ahead of time that the I had 2 orders that were being g paid separately. I informed her prior to me ordering, she then acts bothered as if asking her to do her job was just too much then proceeds to smack the receipt in the counter and ignores my request for itemized receipts since I'm picking up an office order so I have to ask again and again she acts as if it's just too much. All this while a manager or lead sits at the counter(white lady with glasses)

This place has gone downhill. Sadly, the food is mediocte at best, we received our stack of onion rings and it was entirely burned dark brown. The side order next to us with their burger had larger rings than our $9 mini tower. Ouch. The burgers were ok, slightly above a fast food burger. The seasoning shaker was just large clumps, asked for another and it was the same thing. Sad. Another place from my childhood bites the dust.

The best part of our experience was the atmosphere and our server, Kayla. Food is not what it used to be. We used to love going to Red Robin, but over the last few years, the quality has gone down, while the prices keep going up. After years of going to Red Robin, all locations in San Antonio, we made the decision last night that we would not be returning to any of them. Thank you to Kayla for being such a great server!!!!

The service wasn't what we have came to expect at Red Robin, we have never had to ask for more fries or for ketchup. Also my wife asked for her burger to be cooked well done and it was cooked as requested.

I was so disappointed in the quality of the food here. RR used to be one of my favorite restaurants and today it was absolutely horrible.I haven’t been in years and was excited to have their fries. The fries were absolutely horrible. They were somehow undercooked, soggy, and stale all at the same time. Lunch for two people was 50$ and half of it we couldn’t even eat. When you are done with the meal and wishing you had just eaten at home instead that’s really bad.

0 ⭐ — Worst service I’ve ever had at . Our server was also working the bar, which clearly did not work out for customers. We waited an excessive amount of time just to get drinks, never received refills, and my French fries never showed up at all. There were long gaps with no check-ins, no updates, and no effort to fix anything once we mentioned it. Between the missing food, empty glasses, and constant waiting, the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. There are too many restaurants out there to spend money somewhere that makes you feel ignored.

Family of 4 came in. Was seated fairly quickly, said server would be with us shortly. Place was at maybe 30% capacity. Staff was just standing around talking to eachother. 15-20 minutes past and server never came. People who just walked in and seated after us got served. Walked out without even being able to ask for waters. Won’t be coming back again.

3rd time at this location. All other visits were good, and the service was fine, but this time the food was not so good. I ordered the grilled chicken avocado cob salad, and after tasting the chicken almost spit it out because the texture was like rubbery plastic. Maybe lab grown? Didn't taste like real chicken at all. My hubby ordered the fish and chips and the fish had so much breading on it, he pulled it all off into a pile on his plate. We didn't love our experience and don't plan to go back.
