Newell's Cocktail Time

Great dive! Wandered in here wasting time before returning my rental car and flying out of SFO. Perfect place! Exactly what I was looking for.

I stopped by to help a friend close. Definitely a cool vibe. Gives you a cheers, dive vibe, yet don't need a tetanus shot after being there. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a spot to relax watch a game, play pool, have a drink or two

Well-established local watering hole! Fantastic! Greeted by the locals upon entering. Good conversations with men and women! Excellent working class, blue-collar place. Rates great! Service great! Friendly for my taste! Maybe more old school, but worth checking out! Enjoy!

Solid dive bar. Friendly bartenders. Cool atmosphere. Great music. Very reasonably priced drinks, especially given it’s the Bay Area. Not much else you could ask for!

It's great place to get a drink & relax they got a web jukebox so music is kool & they got a pool table & a dart board in the back room.( ya might wanna bring your stick & you definitely wanna bring your darts.)

I don’t like all the TVs, but the bartenders are always cool, the vibe in this place is great. Perfect dive bar drink before a flight.

I thought about five stars but I've only been in there once yeah a friend of mine passed away that used to work here. So a friend of mine it used to work here his girlfriend's working here now well ex-girlfriend because of unavoidable circumstances she works there now and I went in to see her for a minute but I had to get home cuz I was on my Harley t-shirt and shorts you know me.

Glade I rediscovered this long time neighborhood gem. To think I almost drove past; had a patron not exited through the front door. Looked closed & Dark.. We Had fun once inside ! This Old favorite could have some light shinned upon IT. Literally Try it out & Go In

Stopped in to Newell's for a pre dinner drink. We just kind of stumbled on this place. How does one know where to get a good cocktail when you're an out of towner!? Well let me tell you about Newell's.. The bartender was fabulous! She wasn't even sure what a certain drink was but she more than nailed it! It was right on! My Cadillac margarita was potent! I managed to wobble out of there to my next destination.. but barely! They do not serve food but our sweet bartender brought popcorn in order to save me embarrassment! It was a fun experience and I think I may have to return!

Proudly not a drinker herself, and cut me off inexplicably because she decided that I couldn’t drive, despite my confirmation that I was only using Uber. Also I was shut out from the pool table.I wanted to support businesses local to SFO but it’s clear that this business does not care for my support. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Felt like discrimination because I had disclosed my LGBTQ status.
