Great place to watch the sunset

Recommendation from local in Mérida. A bit out of the way, but worth it, and you can visit Fort San Miguel before for some culture and views. You can take either colectivo, taxi, or even walk here (long walk). Lovely, quiet setting by the sea, and you may have the choice of sitting in the restaurant and pier huts. Attentive and pleasant staff. Unfortunately did not have the squid when I visited so I chose the crab and shrimps. The crab was fine but the Camarones Al Ajillo was amazing, and really good prices as well.
Magic place and great music
Idyllic location. We ate on one of the tables on the jetty watching pelicans dive into the water. Lovely food. Veggie options. Reasonably priced. Attentive service, with a smile. Then into our swim suits and into a warm blue sea with the fishes. We went after a morning visit to the museum in the Fort above - also excellent - and stayed til sunset.
The food is good but could use a bit more of salt. Service was fantastic, and the place is a hidden jewel. After eating, walking trough the old pier is a must to enjoy the sea and the birds.

Nice spot for sunset. Just came for a beer, but very beautiful location at seaside. Unfortunately the Barca El Lorencillo did not operate when I was there, which was my intention to visit this spot

Came here on a recommendation. The outside is not much to look at, but don't let that deter you. The food was great, service was excellent, and you cannot beat the location! Ask to sit on the dock. They are small alcoves with two tables and a palapa roof. You are eating on the water next to the fishes.
Really good fish!
Place is nice, food is more expensive than usual which would not be much of a problem but the thing is that the food is not great at all, personnel and people in charge is nice and do a great job.
Authentic Campeche sea food
Poor presentation!! Poor service. Nice view but that’s it. Nothing to remember. Avoid it if it’s possible.
