Great first time experience. Food was delicious and made super fast! There is only 1 thing I would've loved, heated plates. I person love my food super extra hot and heated plates do the trick for me. Otherwise the food was hot and delicious. I just like mine served just shy of on fire! ;) to add: the place is adorable and also clean.
Great food, the staff is very nice no matter who works here. Usually pretty busy, but the wait time is not bad.
Ate breakfast Saturday was excellent. Husband enjoyed the steak and eggs with delicious orange juice… tasted fresh squeezed. I had crepes with mixed berries. Very good also. Definitely recommend this place. Good service and food!🌷🍃☺️
We come in and staff is extremely friendly and let us sit anywhere. Service was fast and really they checked on us the whole time even when busy! The food felt like home and we stopped thinking it wouldn't be anything crazy but we were very grateful for the cozy and old school atmosphere. Definitely worth the stop.
Came with my wife for the first time, since we’ve heard so many good things about this place. Well they were right! My wife and I both had great good ol’ country breakfast that we’re amazing. Our waiter made my wife a Bloody Mary and let me tell you it was GOOOOD! We will be returning soon. Finally a great breakfast spot.
John's Omelet was really good. Service was good in spite of large crowd. We sat at the counter, so as to avoid wait. Counter seat had a backrest and was surprisingly comfortable. Cooks turned out food rapidly and in concert. Tasty food. Highly recommend.
This is a classic sort of Mom and Pop diner with friendly service and great prices. But the food has a definite upscale quality to it. The chicken burger was delicious. It had plenty of great toppings including smoky, thick-cut, bacon. What really set it apart though was the aoli, giving it a flavor I'd expect in a much more expensive establishment. The plate included perfectly cooked french fries. Golden and crisp outside. Soft and fluffy inside. If I get the opportunity to pass through there again, I will definitely stop for another chicken burger.
Sorry no pics again. But im going to shoot it straight as usual and just make it short and sweet. So this place is great, great food, great service friendly servers and staff. They can get a little busy on the weekends but that's just a sign of how good it is. It's a country cafe, so great for breakfast then a leisurely drive up into the foot hills. I've been here many times and never disappointed. I highly recommend it. All in all i give it 👍👍👍👍👍
What a little gem!! Coming down from the mountains, we got an early start, and wanted a quick bite. This place is the perfect combo of diner meets brunch place. The menu options were great, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was PHENOMENAL! Excellent quality, and good portion sizes. The price was absolutely unbeatable, too. Couldn’t be happier with our choice to stop for breakfast!!
This place was amazing!!! We came from Texas and decided to get some breakfast before visiting the Sequoias. All of our food was incredible, the coffee was fresh, the waiters and servers were nice! Fluffy pancakes and fresh brewed coffee with a slight nutty taste? What a great start to the day!
This is one of my favorite restaurants to go when I'm in Sanger visiting my aunt. The prices are reasonable and the food is fantastic. From burgers to fish and chips they offer a wide range of choices.
1st time here. This place is a hidden gem. You know a place is good when they close at 2:30. This place is great!. Great service, great food. We were a large group and sat outside with the outdoor heaters. We lingered too long, but they gave no hints at all that they were closing up. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. Servers refilled coffee consistently, too. 👍👍👍😋😋😋
The Blossom Trail Cafe is known for quality food and great service. On this occasion I was able to meet up with a friend of mine from when we worked at the Sheriff's Dept. As a Realtor (now) Knowing good places to eat is a must to take clients too. 😋 Blossom Trail is a great choice when in the Sanger areas. Especially when the Blossoms 🌸 are out.
hey blossom trail cafe , i just came across your cafe and found that there's no business email and website . do you need one ?
The food is great ,affordable to be a le to take the whole family. Service is always great they are on it .I recommend the steak and eggs .
Breakfast was delicious, staff very nice and courteous. We ate in the patio on a cold windy day, they made sure each table had a working heater next to it. We’ll be back 😊
Outstanding cafe ! Large portions, the taste that you only get with homemade food.Excellent price ! Super Specials! The People are the best Clean, easy access. Plenty of room to park your tractor:). Highly recommended.
Love this place. Whenever I'm in the area we make a trip out here for breakfast. The food is great, the portions are impressive, and the service is excellent. It's down home country good, and despite being seemingly out on the fringes, it can get very busy, so timing is important, but it's always worth any wait. Recommended.
05/15/2022 - I've always passed by this little cafe located in (seemingly) the middle of nowhere and was perplexed why the parking lot was usually always packed. My group and I stopped by to grab lunch after a full day of mountain biking and bird watching along the Kings River. We were quickly seated, our server and the rest of the staff were very friendly and bantered with us while we waited. We ordered and our food arrived fairly quickly despite how packed the place was. Our server was very attentive and cheerful. I ordered the Western Burger and was very impressed with it. My friends all ordered burgers as well and had nothing but good things to say. The portions were very large and a few could not finish their entire meal. I now understand why this cafe is so popular and hope some day someone will pass by and see my vehicle along with the many others in the parking lot and see for themselves why it's always full.
The food is delicious! We had breakfast and lunch. Pancakes, eggs, tacos, potatoes were fantastic. The food was fresh. Tastes like homecooking. The service team was excellent.
So we went back for a 2nd visit. I had the Fiesta bowl which was so good and finacé had the mixed berry pancake short stake. All was good food. And this time I took pictures. Make sure you get the 🍊 juice it's great. 1st visit-Caroline was our server. She was quick, friendly, professional, made sure we were happy with our meals...which we were. Make sure you go on an empty tummy. Food was on point. Fresh orange juice very yummy. We had mixed fruit pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage. Sausage was a very good size and cooked well. Bacon was crispy just how I like it. Sorry no pictures...there website shows it all. Besides I didn't think of taking pictures until I was all ready full.
Mushroom swiss was great. And the pastrami wrap my wife gave me half of was one of the best things I've ever eaten.
One of my favorite restaurants! It's great food and a great atmosphere! Worth the drive
Love to eat here. The waitresses are cool people. Food is good. They are always busy. We don't mind the wait.
Friendly waiters, great service, great food! I always enjoy eating there.
This is a staple of places along the bloosom trail and we'll anytime you go down academy and Belmont in sanger ca! No matter if it's lunch or breakfast or the occasional dinner this place has the solid consistency, wonderful food, excellent service as well as the same friendly staff as always! The blossom trail Cafe is just a good general all around go to eat good food! Whether it's Mexican or American or even something special like their crepes! You must go have a bite at blossom trail Cafe!!
Took my family to do the blossom trail, and we decided to finish it off with the Blossom Trail Cafe. The staff was very friendly and on top of it. The environment was pretty cozy with indoor and outdoor dinning. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They definitely weren't stingy with portion sizes. Would recommend
Blossom Trail Cafe is such a sweet, little spot! We decided to get breakfast on a whim and found this place. It feels like the staff members are a family and they are so kind and attentive to guests. The food was delicious and reasonably priced as well! We will definitely be back!
Excellent food and great service! I had Country Fried Steak for lunch, and it was delicious! 2/12/2022 Update: I had the Country Fried Steak for breakfast, and it was still delicious! 4/16/2022 Update: The Country Fried is still really delicious, and the service is still very good. My wife had the Tuna Sandwich and also was very fresh and really good!! Overall: Great job!
Food is very good, waitress was great.we had the omelet 3 meats biscuits n gravy, French toast 😋
Super duper good! Great spot for breakfast.
Awesome service. Wednesday special is the best, very delicious food and coffee. Definitely will be going back.
The food here is spectacular, especially the chicken fried steak. The staff are exceptional expect for one young girl who definitely can work on her customer service, she makes the whole experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. But the food though it's top notch.
The Blossom Trail Café sits beautifully among the orange blossoms and is one of our favorite family restaurants. The portions are always huge, and the food is consistently amazing. My mother’s favorite dish is the biscuits and gravy—she orders it every single time. Whenever we’re in the area, this is where our family meets. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal, whether you’re dining with a large group or just a few people. You’ll always receive great service, delicious food, and enjoy the amazing atmosphere.
Great diner/cafe! It’s usually very busy on the weekends! We enjoyed a late breakfast on a Thursday morning. I didn’t know they had crepes! Sweet & savory. I had the ham crepe with country gravy , eggs , and potatoes. Delicious! My friend enjoyed her very berry waffles and hot chocolate. Great coffee. Friendly service.
Portion size was perfect. I will highly recommend this place. There was a wait but totally worth it. I'm coming back. French Vanilla creamer a bonus. Everything was on the menu. Burgers Mexican Breakfast American it was so variety everyone will enjoy
Blossom Trail Café is one of my go-to spots when I’m in the mood for a solid breakfast. I especially love their omelettes they’re cooked the right way. A lot of places just cook the eggs, toss in the fillings, and fold it over, but here they actually cook the ingredients first, then add the egg cooked in with the ingredients. It makes a huge difference, and honestly, it tastes just like a homemade omelette. Breakfast here is always really good and consistent. The staff is friendly, and the café has a convenient corner location you can’t miss with flags out front and plenty of parking. Seating options are great too: indoor booths, counter seating, bar-style up front, and outdoor tables if you want fresh air. Lunch is decent, but breakfast is where this place really shines. For me, it’s definitely a breakfast spot worth stopping by.
Country Cafe style with swivel chairs at the front counter. Patio dining is nice as long as its not too late on a summer day. Service was good. Food was great with portion size being rather large.
Recommended to eat here by a friend of mine who lives in Sanger. I must say, I would drive any day of the week to eat at the Blossom Trail Cafe. I ordered Steak & Eggs, the steak was top notch, my eggs cooked to perfection, potatoes could have been a bit crisper, but I imagine if I would have asked my waiter they would have cooked it to my liking. Me & my family left with smiles on our faces and our bellies full. I highly recommend the steak and eggs because that's what I ordered and it was delicious. Our first thought when we left was "we are definitely coming back"
Our first time eating here and we were extremely happy with the food and great service. The Cafe is very nice and had minimal waiting time for coming during lunchtime. Also, we happened to come on a Wednesday when everything is 10.99, a pleasant surprise! We will definitely be coming back.
Only complaints I have is that the chorizo in the Chorizo Bowl was very greasy and the patio area doesn't seem to get a lot of attention from the staff. In the staffs defense, we were there on a busy Saturday morning so the staff could have been stretched thin. I would still recommend tho, overall experience was good and the bowl was good aside from the grease. Will return again when im in the area.
Even though it looked super busy with a full parking lot, we were able to get right in and sit down. We ordered the mix and match meal and both got clam chowder, but it wasn't that good. There were hardly any clams in it and it had bacon in it which was weird and overpowering. The service was great though and they quickly replaced our soup with the chicken tortilla soup, which was delicious. Overall it was a great experience.
The food was great! Our small group met at the restaurant for brunch. Our server got our drink orders and meal requests within a short time. After serving our meals, the server checked on us just one time. The "homey" atmosphere of the restaurant added to our family get-together.
Friendly service! Friendly and quick service! Nice selection on the menu! Awesome!! Salad or omelette or others! I speak English but other people speak other languages and that’s okay here too! Would come back here, if I was there again, for the food!
Visiting a new restaurant when you're on a road trip is always an opportunity to find a new great spot. You're away from home and usually quite famished by the time you get there. This was a busy weekend time: Sunday morning. The restaurant was packed when we arrived. Fortunately, there was a spacious patio area so we could have some welcome "breathing space" outside for dining. it was packed. Fortunately, the servers were on top of it and we were able to order and receive our food without much of a delay. This was truly amazing. The menu was pretty big. The selection for break and lunch entrees was large, and I was hungry enough to have difficulty choosing. I finally settled on the pastrami wrap breakfast. It came served cut in half with a lot of pan-fried diced red potatoes on the side. There were scrambled eggs and large, diced avocado chunks inside. Fresh salsa was served on the side. The food was epically delicious. The only confusion was when we realized that checks weren't brought to the table after the meal. You have to go inside and mob around the busy register area and tell the where you were sitting to be able to pay for your check. They should have a less confusing location for the register rather than make it do double-duty as the hub area for the servers getting plates from the kitchen to send out to the tables. A little more logistical planning when laying out the floor plan for motion through the register area would solve that issue during busy time. This place obviously does good business and might consider the welcome effect good "flow" planning would have for both the customers trying to pay and the employees trying to navigate a busy crowd of customers. Photo of Blossom Trail Cafe - Sanger, CA, United States. Delicious pastrami wrap for breakfast. Was big enough eat and save half for lunch later. Delicious pastrami wrap for breakfast. Delicious food. Surprisingly good. Friendly staff. Cute diner aesthetics. A little crowded (but no doubt because everything tastes so good)
We've been coming here for years, though we slowed down recently due to some hit-or-miss food experiences. However, we decided to stop in for breakfast the other day. The service is always great—friendly and welcoming, which is one of the main reasons we return. If you know what to order, the food can be really good. I especially appreciate how they prepare their omelets; instead of just folding in the ingredients, they cook everything together, giving it a true homestyle feel. That’s a big plus for me. The chile verde is also solid. That said, the restaurant itself has become pretty run-down over the years. The interior could use a deep clean, the booths and counters feel worn, and the bathrooms definitely need an update. A little remodeling and freshening up would make a big difference. Despite that, it’s a convenient spot, and the friendly service keeps us coming back from time to time.
I've been coming here on a somewhat regular for the past 3 years & have always enjoyed the food. I primarily come for breakfast & have yet to be disappointed! I actually came here when this place first opened about 15 years ago & had my first Monte Crisco. Great place to eat, along with friendly staff! I ordered the Fiesta Chorizo Bowl. All in all: Good food, clean, along with friendly staff. Will say, Sundays are packed so get there early! Saturdays get packed also.
Great place with a good atmoshere and really good food. The service was a bit lackluster but to be fair they were extraordinary busy, they were doing the best they could. I will return.
We wondered if this place not really expecting to a decent place to grab breakfast on our way. Even though the place was pretty packed were seated within 10 minutes. The atmosphere was alright and the place was clean. Our drinks and order was taken in minutes. Our food was served in about 20 minutes. I can only speak about what I ordered the eggs Benedict and side of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy rivals any I have in the South. My eggs Benedict were perfect. My overall impression is favorable and I recommend this place.
Excellent portions of food served here.. we ordered the veggie sandwich and the veggie omelette.. Both were great along with fries and country potatoes.. service is ok.. we had to call someone to order and after the food was served, there was no interaction There was a wait time during lunch but nothing too crazy.. the restaurant was busy and full on a Saturday afternoon They serve breakfast and lunch Monday thru Fri 7am-2pm and weekends from 7am-230pm
We stopped by for breakfast on our way home from a road trip. I’ve been here once before and ordered steak and eggs, which was very good. This time around we ordered fesita bowl breakfast, chili verde with eggs ,strawberry lemonade and cinnamon roll French toast . The food was good. The strawberry lemonade was delicious. The service was courteous and friendly. They have inside and outside dining ,there’s plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal The prices are reasonable. The café is surrounded by Orchards. It’s a nice view. We’ll stop again when we’re in the area. There’s plenty of parking, handicap stalls are at the front door.
They never get order right and they dont put enough spread on the toast!
I enjoy this restaurant because it's the only real diner of its kind around the area. Staff ate always nice but never immediately available because of how jammed packed they are in the weekends, so I recommend asking for any checks or to go containers asap because it'll be awhile until you see then again. Their breakfasts country potatoes are always flavor-less, so if you can go without them I recommend it. I love the chili Verde Breakfast plate, always a favorite (minus the potatoes). If you can get here early enough to beat the rush, it'll be worth it. Prices for most dishes are 15.00+, even a simple breakfast burrito. Again, one of it's only kind in the area, so that's why we keep coming back.
The food was good, but it would've tasted better if it was hot. Our service wasn't that great either. I think the bus boy had more of a conversation with us than our server. It could use a good remodel, but if that ain't in the cards, then a good deep clean would definitely help.
I was disappointed in the Chorizo/eggs w/potatoes and beans. The eggs may have well been pink as if they were just cooked in grease that had chorizo flavor, the potatoes did not look appealing either. I'm sure there are good things on the menu, but this wasn't it. This was our first time there.
This is my first time giving a 2 star. Once the drinks were served quickly, our waitress didn't come outside to take our order for 20 minutes after my daughter requested service. If you can't take orders in 10 minutes, nothing else really matters. The first impressions are definitely critical in my book. Went to Red Caboose and got my food in 10 minutes.
Food is average and feels a bit disappointing to see the discrimination of employees.
So let me begin by saying the food is great. The service and the atmosphere is both lacking and chaotic. They don't have the help they need to keep up with demand. The actual restaurant gets filled to capacity. Often you have to stand outside to get a table and if you're lucky they will come and check the list to call who is next. I once ordered my to-go order for our family that lives literally blocks away from here & when I arrived to pick it up they didn't put the order in. So in addition to heading over there within 15 minutes I waited an extra 35 minutes for our to-go order. My family was at home waiting for their breakfast waiting for our to-go order. The locals told us that it was much better back in the day for it's service whereas now. It's an absolute madhouse of crowds that fill it to capacity. It's not a place I would go to during prime breakfast hour perhaps it's a different experience at lunch but not in the morning.
Blossom Trail Cafe rocking a 4.6 review must mean the staff is dedicated, I mean really dedicated tobyelp. Food was bland and dissapointing, my county jail platter tasted better. Service was friendly, probably because they knew I would need all the support to finigh my meal. Save yourself the disappointment.
The wife and I have been trying to stop at this place for two years. We finally did. They sat us down pretty quick and served us a cup of coffee. That was it. We sat there for 20 minutes. Nobody acknowledged us The guy serving coffee past us by our cups were empty. They are very attentive to the usuals Everybody apparently knew each other cooks the chefs. and some customers except us we will probably never stop by again.
As a Truck Driver I drive by this place every so often and I figured I'd give it a try this weekend. The Reviews are all A+ so it must be right? Unfortunately, I don't share those same sentiments. First Off "The Wait" to be seated is NOT an issue at all cause that's the nature of any Café But, what was an issue is the wait for our drink and food orders to be taken. Overall, it took longer for us to get our order in then it was to be seated & eat combined. The vibe in the place was off and some of the staff (Not our server) were particularly rude for no reason. No Bueno. The Food itself was a 7/10 The Pastarni Burger & Curley Fries were Absolutely Delicious! And the Santa Fe Salad was Fresh & Crisp! The Machaca & Eggs were too moist and needed to be seasoned better. You can tell it was rushed and not given time to cook all the way through. In the end, I just felt unsatisfied with the experience even despite the savory burger & tasty salad. I don't know if we'll be returning anytime soon cause it just wasn't worth the drive & wait.
Waitress was very busy to busy to check on her customers. All of the customers were unhappy with there orders an lack of attention my bowl of clam chowder was not brought until I had asked for it three times after main order was brought it was cold and had a awful taste she did not check back on how our meal was my husband an I took two spoon full an could not finish it we watched three other tables get the soup an they did the same the Cobb salad the eggs were over cooked an gray ring around the chicken was not well done as I asked for it was cold an not cooked all the way an I had to ask for the dressing three times. I worked in the restaurant business for 15 years an had three times the tables an customers Never wrote down orders Never forgot anything always checked back to make sure customers were happy word of mouth is very important how you treat the customer is of the utmost important rule if no customer's no business. I will NOT go back there again.
Service, the waitress bypass me for larger table. She was just interested in larger tip. Since I was a single. Make me wait and help others first. Unprofessional and rude. I wasn't the only single dinner getting this treatment. A retired gentleman was being treated the same way. There are book on the profession of waiting. The French have set the standard for meal edict. The bisquick were stale dinner rolls, with gravy with too much pepper. The cinnamon roll made of weak bread doe.
I dont want to feel entitled, i waited for like 20 min, which is ideal . Asked for a booth, they were nice and let me know there was one by the door half booth half chair. I then decided to sit outside, waited 10 min until i asked someone for a menu. I didnt realize how extremely hot it would be, it was cooler inside. My son started to have seizures from the heat, i asked if its ok to go back inside in a booth. The lady went to check, said the line is to long i explained i was already on the list my son is having seizures she said “im sorry the wait is to long for the booths and your the one who chose to sit outside” i think i saw somewhere its self seating outside but either way my name was on the list to begin with. Anyways, i know i chose to sit outside but i chose to leave . I wasnt expecting top tier service or like i was the only important one there but there are better ways to talk to customers. Again, I dont like writing negative reviews but i couldn’t help myself.
