Service was fast, food was fresh, and the servers were friendly.
The bartender Janelle is the best! Super friendly! I'm from out of town and her and Andrew made me feel at home! Total home cooked comfort food!! The coolest place I've been in Santa Barbara!
I love Cody's. The staff is always super nice and the drinks are amazing. There is such a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Also, I love the new outside patio because I get to take my dog with me.
I grew up eating at Cody's. Great food and excellent service. Atmosphere is simple, open space with lots of booths and tables. There is a bar area thats nice also! Sometimes its a long wait, but it's totally worth it. You can call in orders to pick up also which is really convenient! Love this place.
The staff at Cody’s Cafe were very attentive and helpful! My waiter even wrote directions to the best thrift stores near by for me! My cottage fries and biscuits and gravy were great and came in hardy portions!
The portions (for breakfast at least) are huge! The "small" kids pancake is bigger than an adult head. The things are huge! The portions themselves are just large, but not annoyingly so. I enjoyed the corned beef hash, which looked to be fresh and not from a can, and they cooked my eggs right without having to ask a million times (fried hard shouldn't be that difficult). Even though we were there with a very large group (23 people) they kept everyone's orders straight, got all the tickets right, and always made sure that the drinks were full.
Cody's is a great breakfast spot with traditional breakfast foods. My wife always gets the eggs benedict and I always for for the ribeye and eggs. Both are great dishes. The service is always great and they make great bloody marys and mimosas. We always stop by at least a few times a month.
The staff was attentive, quick, and really polite. And the food was awesome! They've got a good selection on their menu, and the prices were reasonable. Definitely going back! :)
Oooo this place is delicious. Service is great and prices are reasonable. I really enjoy their breakfast menu. And their burgers aren't half bad. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
Great lunch, French fries were crispy and hot, and the service was friendly with lots of drink refills. Large restaurant with open spaces and outdoor dining. Recommend!
We came for lunch on a Sunday. Service was incredibly quick it was actually really surprising how fast the food came out. The tri tip sandwich was really yummy. Would definitely come again
Cody's, I have been eating here since 2016 when I started working at UC. It's a great place for breakfast. We tend to go for small meetings and for a tasty breakfast. The staff is amazing, the food does not disappoint. Than you for the amazing food and service!
I've been here several times and the food is always full of flavor and the margaritas are one of the best I've had. Don't pass on the bread basket; those sourdough rolls are to die for! Although our server was extremely busy during the dinner rush, he was very attentive, personable, and made sure all of our needs were met.
Simple, fair priced, well Portioned breakfast. If you want something healthy, affordable, and that fills you up Cody’s checks the boxes. I get their omelettes and load them with veggies. I’d appreciate some upgrades like gluten free bread options, organic produce, even listing where the bacon comes from. But that’s no reason not to go there if you want hearty and nutritious morning food!
Cody's is such a great restaurant. Everybody makes you feel super welcome and the service is timely. The food is great. Perfect proportions for the hungry man and dainty proportions for the ladies counting calories... there are also 2 full bars keeping the drinks constant and cold...
Great breakfasts and lunches with extra attention to making you and your dog feel welcomed 😊. We love the outdoor seating with a variety of tables and shade. Cody's is our go to place with our friends and pets. Oh, and did I mention yummy Mimosas?
Oh my lordy Lord. Where to start... Well first off, I'm kinda based since I'm the owners grandson, but the food there; oh my GOD it's delicious. Their ranch there is ridiculously good, better than anywhere else you can get it. Recently I have been disappointed in restaurant fries lately, but Cody's completely outdoes them in every way. Their fries are hot and crispy, very flavorful, salty, and absolutely incredible with the ranch. I would honestly rate it more than 5 stars, but that's as high as it goes. Come here whenever you get the chance!
The food was good, service was good. It is crowded so come with time or at least know you'll be waiting a bit not long. I'm going to come back to try breakfast and other meals. Definitely a comeback place to eat since I only tried the chicken club. Over all a simple menu with good food. A must try kinda place and if like it like I did you'll go back.
Great service, friendly staff and fantastic food! The corned beef hash (one of my favorites) is incredible, definitely not out of a can! Can't wait to go there again.
Welcoming friendly atmosphere! A busy place with a very good breakfast selection, and a bottomless cup of Peet's coffee. Patio/outdoor seating is available. Wheelchair accessible, plenty of booth spaces, and friendly servers. I was very pleased that in spite of it being busy at 10 AM midweek no one seemed to be rushed to turnover their table. Plenty of parking.
My favorite place for breakfast and lunch for the past 28 years!!!! Thank you for being so awesome!!!
Good customer service. Most of the time the food is good. Last time I was there I ordered a BLTA to go. I forgot to tell them to cook the bacon black. When I got home I saw that the bacon was white! That is dangerous to eat uncooked pork. I took the bacon out of the sandwich and put it in the microwave for two minutes. I know this is partly my fault because I didn't ask them to overcook the bacon, but who serves white uncooked bacon?
This place is definitely family oriented, in a great location, and everyone greeted you with a smile. The food was so good, and the service was delightful. I will definitely go back to Cody's Cafe when I go back to Santa Barbara/Goleta.
We had breakfast there and it was delicious!! I had the eggs benedict and potatoes, very good. My husband had the 911 omelet and he loved it. Great server also, everyone was really nice and made us feel welcome!! Thanks again!
So to continue our quest of trying every restaurant in Santa Barbara, we ended up at Cody's. We have been here several times because it is so consistent in it's service and quality of food. It is what you expect when you think of diner. It's fast, loud, and serves a great breakfast any time of day. I thought I would try something different, so I tried their "Cafe Favorites", Hot Turkey. The turkey is moist and seems like it is carved right off the bird. Big thick slices, it's a lot of food. The vegetables were cooked to the right tenderness, but a little too much butter for me. Good to dip bread in though. The potatoes were a little too cool for mashed potatoes. It is great comfort food. The Punk stuck to breakfast, scrambled eggs, sausage, and pancakes. She ate it all and didn't share, so I'm guessing it was good. She said she, "didn't like the air." She says she will go back if she can wear leggings. I suppose she was a little cold. We have been going here for several years and you always see the same people working there, so you know management is doing something right. I really like that they are treating their people well and will support that all day long. 5 stars!
Like many places in Santa Barbara, Cody’s has had to make adjustments for Covid 19 reasons, and are no longer attached to their sister restaurant on the Mesa , and the menu has slightly changed, along with the prices. But the people are the same, awesomely nice and the drinks are very strong , something that have kept the locals loyal and it won’t disappear like Goleta Coffee across the way. Something the scientists from the reality show Bar Rescue could learn from. The Breakfasts are hearty and used to be a favorite of the working fisherman back in the day . The Californian Benedict, with its perfectly cooked poached egg and tomato and avocado is a known favorite of the local Santa Bar-barbarians and for a slight fee , add those to the Fairfax Benedict ( I think it’s a wink to Canter’s Deli in LA on Fairfax) which is Smoked Salmon on a bagel, cream cheese, poached egg, Homemade Hollandaise sauce and is served with a choice of potatoes , cottage fries or their perfect hash browns and homemade salsa. I can’t eat like that anymore, so I got the grilled Fresh Salmon that I photographed ,because it looked like a perfect still life painting ! Healthy too ! Sadly, because of the Covid, the price was $20 and with tea and tax , plus a tip ,well, I can’t afford to eat there everyday like I had for the past 20 years. (Maybe when the Covid 19 is over ; prices will go down again )🙏The Salads and Hamburgers are just as good as they were decades ago. I especially enjoyed the $13 Gorgonzola Salad with its cheese and mandarins , and for $7 extra , you can add a piece of grilled Chicken or Salmon. Now with outdoor seating, they also have a cozy banquet room and side bar (although I haven’t seen it used much since the Covid ) and for the same reason, it is no longer open for dinner . 😔 Sigh , it’s the end of an era in Santa Barbara. But for Breakfast and Lunch it is still one of the best “Local Favorites “ in Goleta.
Great place to eat. I had the tuna melt and it was fantastic!! Wife had the Oriental chicken salad which she said was really good too. Large enough for us to take half home for another meal too. Staff was great, seating done quickly, order taken and food came out in a timely fashion.
The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Service was fast and friendly.
Humble, kind staff, sort of off on it's own family dinner. It's a relief that everything isn't part of a chain, nowadays.
Had eggs and bacon. Bacon was thick and well cooked.
A 4.3 rating is an insult to this café. ME and my fiance flew in from the bay area for the 4th and wanted some good breakfast, and searched this location. We caught an Uber and when I tell you the service was on point, we were seated and someone came to assist right away. We had drinks on the table within 5 min, I had a hair in my coffee cup, the waiter didn't hesitate to bring me a new cup. Our food was out in 5 minutes nice and hot. We were treated so nice, all the workers work as a team. An unforgettable experience. I love this place, we will definitely come back in our next visit.
Breakfast was great, service super quick and friendly, very accommodating to dietary restrictions.
Great place! Great service and friendly staff. Always enjoy coming here. Nice atmosphere and delicious breakfast options! Thank you!
I was at a private event and the staff did an amazing job...Food and service was wonderful.
We were staying close to here and decided to go here for breakfast/brunch. The staff was super friendly and they knew most of the people who came in which we thought was great. This place has a local, small town feel. Food was excellent! I had the Chicken Fried Steak and would definitely order it again.
Discovering the beautiful areas of Goleta in Santa Barbara, Ca ; Find this incredible restaurant, the setting option outside feels nice, the amazing service with astounding dishes made this restaurant shines!!! Thank you, to all their Team showing that by working together the experience is great. The menu has many choices to be discover. 💫 Thank you,
Standard average place for breakfast and lunch. The prices are reasonable, on average breakfast will cost you $16. Very nice staff and waiters, attentive, not intrusive, polite. The breakfasts are really tasty, but what is different from other places is the muffins. The muffins are really tasty with fresh juicy berries.
Easy to find because it's on the street's edge, tucked away from the rest of a strip mall. Loved what they've done with their additional outdoor seating! (Hope it stays). This place now only serves breakfast and lunch, and my smoked salmon bagel platter was superb! Loved the slices cukes!! 🤗
We were wanting to try out a new place yo have brunch and so glad we stopped here. We were seated really fast. No wait time and there is plenty of seating. You can be seated outside, inside, and at the bar. Perfect for a large group or just 1 person. The waiter was super friendly and very aware if we needed anything. Our order came out about 10 minutes to 15 after we ordered. Prices are great for the food and alcohol beverages.
Famous, scrumptious spot to eat whether for breakfast, lunch or even a few drinks at the bar! Warm and cozy place to go, always fresh and everyone always seems to have a smile on there face, I know I sure did!! You can choose to sit at a table, the bar or a booth, wherever you may sit, there are always good views.
Enjoyed the Country Fried Steak! Tender, moist and pretty awesome is how I would describe it. The gravy, well, it's just like grandma used to make! Full flavored and will probably clog your arteries! Why only 4 stars? I had to find and get my own hot sauce because our table was just a little too far for the server to walk. Coffee was limited to a one cup refill due to the same invisible forcefield. TLDR: Food is awesome! Service should have been better since we were 1 of 4 tables with 2 servers on the floor.
Cody's is a good local restaurant with American fare. It is a casual sit down place with a bar. I had the fish and chips, which were very good. My husband had the salmon, and he enjoyed it. The older crowd seems to especially like Cody's, probably because they are a little bit homey and have decent comfort food.
I have been enjoying the food, drinks and atmosphere at Cody's Restaurant for the past 4 years. The staff under the management of Martin are friendly, efficient and courteous. Recently, we asked Martin if our local club could meet on Wednesdays when our previous location suddenly became unavailable. Much to my delight, Martin came through with the perfect day and time and our monthly meetings have now grown in number. The food and drinks are excellent and I highly recommend the fish and chips and Tostada Salad. We have our Native Sons of the Golden West meetings here once a month. Food is always very good, wait staff is friendly and efficient, ample parking and very dependable. Check out their breakfast on the weekends it is very popular and very good.
Staff is really nice and on time. If you say you need a while to think of what you’ll order, they take that seriously and give you 5 minutes to think, maximum is 10 so that was great as a indecisive eater. I give it 4 stars because I got the bacon omelet with fruit and a blueberry muffin on the side. The fruit seemed frozen but thawed, it looked old in a way and the flavor was off. The blueberry muffin was burnt on the rim so that was a sign that they’re made in the cafe. It wasn’t very filling but that just depends on what you order.
This was the first time I've been to a sit down waiter serviced restaurant since the covid shutdown, I had lunch with a couple of friends and hung out for over an hour and a half. All social distancing and cleaning were inforced. The food was very good and the staff friendly and efficient. The cost was excellent and was less than $50 for the three of us. We were thanked for coming back and supporting them which I intend to do often as I did before.
We go here often. It's our neighborhood diner. Sometimes it's wonderful and service is fantastic and other times the food isn't so great.... It's a bummer. Food is better more often than not.
The environment isn't too bad, I didnt get food myself but I've been told it's pretty good by a few people. The bartenders are nice and attentive. It's just a tad bit dark but that might just be my preference
Good local restaurant, fair pricing, helpful staff, great place for breakfast. Can be a little loud, acoustics are not great, especially with 2 bars & sports on the TV's. I don't care for TV's when having dinner. We enjoy Cody's at least once a week.
Stopped by here on a Saturday early - about 7 AM. Decided on one of the Eggs Benedict (California) selections. Was pretty good. The potatoes were delicious and the eggs were good. The tomato was a hot house tomato and the avocado was a little old and only a few slices. Would have liked to have more avocado with the meal. Ordered a side of bacon - crisp and arrived perfect to order. Received 4 nice thick slices which cost $5. Would try this again. Was surprised how empty the restaurant was. My waiter was very good.
Good food. Waitress left some to be desired. Said her station was swamped. Place didn't look that busy. She was a little older Had several other servers help us multiple times. Hope she shared the Tip!?
Good food and portions, have been going for a great many years now, unfortunately, strange smells emanating from the kitchen area. Not large fan of it, but you can sit far enough away to where it's negligible. I recommend chicken fried steak or the cinnamon roll.
I recommend Cody's for breakfast. I love the spinach and feta scramble, the bacon is fat and juicy and they offer a wide variety of toasts. I was less thrilled with the burger for dinner, it was okay -but the meat was bland and there wasn't much else to say about that, but the french fries were hot and crispy.
I like this place very much. It's right in the middle of my old stomping grounds. Cody's location has been a few other restaurants over the years. It probably has been Cody's the longest. At first they had one small bar then they opened up another one which made it much easier to find a seat. Food is really good and service is on point. I would usually go in to watch sports, have a few drinks and appetizers. This place always had somebody I knew in it. Local hang out for some of us.
I loved the oatmeal I got with cream and brown sugar. I was not loving the hash browns, too dry. The service was amazing. We got a table right away for a party of 8, with two kids and a baby in a stroller. The waitresses were always floating by with coffee and a smile on their faces. They were also super friendly. The world cup was on for our soccer fans. Overall it was good food and outstanding service.
Cody's Cafe has a nice sit down experience with a handful of enticing food options. Some of their menu items seem as if they're trying to fill in the spaces, simply put the quality is not consistent. The pancakes are delicious while the eggs, bacon, and toast are quite average. One thing I love is the outdoor patio area as it always seals the deal for a cafe styled get together with the pals. The staff is friendly and courteous, but also selective. I've noticed most of the staff members preferring more of a family oriented clientele while dreading college aged individuals, although they make the effort to treat everyone with a smile. If you're not looking for anything spectacular l'd say this is the spot to be, my friends and I were regulars here for about a year while we were all renting a house together very close by. It was a great place to spend our mornings after a night out at the bars in downtown. I'll always cherish the memories I made at Cody's Cafe, it has a special place in my heart.
Went for breakfast. Food was good. Service was friendly and quick. Good all around. Atmosphere was a bit loud for my liking.
We often visit Cody's when we come to Santa Barbara. The food is constantly good, and the service is spectacular. The blueberry muffins are a family favorite, and we have enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Cody's. Update- 5/26/25: Went here yesterday 5/25 and today 5/26 they were not busy and the service was still amazing. I always ask for my hashbrows extra crispy. Yesterday the were cooked, but not crispy. Today, the same, so I sent them back. Looked like they just flipped them over so the browner side was up. I flipped them back over and they were still white on the bottom. I spoke to the manager who seemed indignant with me. Said he didn't just flip them over, but got me new hashbrowns. I said okay and walked away. The manager brought me another plate of hashbrowns - still undercooked on the bottom. Shrinkflation has also seemed to take ahold of Cody's as the portions have gotten much smaller and the prices have increased. I will still give this place another opportunity to be as amazing as they used to be. I will update my review next time I visit.
This was a regular go to weekend spot for us for a decade... Then things changed and then covid,,parklet..Hadn't been back for 2 years. Not very busy for a Sunday. Told us we would have wait for a booth. We chose a table inside, walked in and three booths were clean and ready...no one else was waiting. Weird.. The Benedict was good, classic Cody's. My wife enjoyed her breakfast burrito. Both bars were open yet not occupied. NFL was on... We'll give them another try soon.
Found Cody's on Google planning a drive from Orange County to Big Sur. From me, it was exactly as expected. Cafe foo; my Omlette with tri tip was good, but not exquisite. They were open at 7am, big win for a long drive. Several locals showed for door opening like a daily routine. "Best eggs" from a 10 year old. "Good French toast, make sure to mention that because good French toast is hard" from a 14 year old. "Giant Pancakes" from an 8 year old. There is outdoor seating and the inside restaurant was clean. Service was friendly, but I will note it was not busy yet.
Great service and friendly staff. I'm in town visiting a friend for the holiday weekend. Cody's is one of her dad's favorite restaurants. She had the tuna melt and I requested a patty melt that isn't on their menu - they made it and it was delicious with grilled onions!!! We both ordered mimosas which were served in a glass partially filled with OJ and a mini champagne bottle. Awesome Santa Barbara weather for outdoor dining.
Reliably decent food. The real star of the show was our waitress but of course I forgot her name. A little older, shorter curly hair, never stops smiling. Thank you!
Food was delicious, as usual. Otherwise, this would have been a lower rating. The service was so subpar as to be problematic. They were out of avocado, which happens. But we waited for some time just to get water and drinks. Waited another 15 minutes before they took our order, then waited half an hour for our food. And the restaurant was not terribly busy. We had to ask multiple people for our check, and it still took a good while before we received it.
Standard locally owned diner. Weird "bar" is right in the middle of the restaurant and the decor is sparse enough to make it look unfinished. The food is pretty good, but the portions are ridiculously large, which means that they're spending money on a ton of wasted food that they could pass on to the customers, instead. The food is always cooked appropriately, but is somewhat inconsistent in how it's prepared. For instance, the corned beef hash is usually house made, but is out of a can sometimes (I actually prefer the canned) and the hash browns are sometimes only crispy on one side. Still, better than Denny's or IHOP!
Always a decent variety of salads and entrees, almost always prepared well. This is a very casual place, essentially a step or two up from a diner. They have a full bar and the drinks are pretty good. The dessert selection, however, is very small, and the rich chocolate layer cake they once featured is gone, replaced by an unsatisfactory round lump that doesn't really qualify as chocolate cake. Also, when you ask for added avocado on a salad, for example, the portion is small, and this time it was so small as to be almost invisible.
We have been coming here for years and last time we went we were shocked by the small portions of my egg scramble. My wife got the plain two egg scrabble, and I got the feta cheese and spinach scramble. my wife's was $13, okay, but my $15 scrabble was no bigger than her's. We'll have to quit going to Cody's based on my meal.
Chicken fried steak was ok. Not great. Hash browns were undercooked not very good, biscuit was fresh and good. Eggs were as ordered. Disappointed a $19 meal doesn’t include coffee, which was an extra $3.5. Overall Cajun kitchen is much better and costs the same. Never had undercooked soggy hash browns there in 10+ times of going. this really is not worth $25 for a pretty small meal with only mediocre quality.
Cody's delivers an average experience. I liked my burger but it was nothing special. Our server took care of us but didn't really do anything to garner an above-average review. And as for the dining room, we sat outside and there was nothing special to report. Would I return to Cody's? Sure, there was nothing wrong with it. There just was not enough to suggest a special return visit in a city packed with good restaurants.
All American restaurant, cozy atmosphere and surfer vibe. I ordered the Santa Barbara omelet with tri tip. The meat was old and dry, but the rest of the inlet was great. My daughter had pancakes and bacon, there were great. Very friendly staff.
The food was good, but they got my order wrong. It was a busy breakfast crowd, so no big deal. I was confused because they said it would be 25 min(it was much less) to be seated. We we got to our booth, we noticed 6 4-person tables open, and was curious why they didn't put two together for our 6. People. Again, no big deal. My biggest problem was the noise. The open room just carried everybody's voice.
Picked this place in goleta because it said it was a diners drive ins and dives restaurant. Waitress was nice. Took 5 minutes after sitting down to get acknowledged. Was not busy. The food came out cold. Fries were cold. Ordered the tri tip sandwich and rice and eggs. Biscuit was never brought to the table and sandwich was missing horseradish. I had to get up and ask for horseradish. All of the waiters were standing around talking except ours. She was nice and working hard.
10/06/23 Update: so we thought we'd give it another try, we ordered Yaters sandwich and the Cobb salad. The chicken in both was rather tasteless and I'm pretty sure it came from a large compressed loaf of chicken that was cut into slices for the sandwich and cubes for the salad. The beer was good until I realized there were a food-like substance stuck on the bottom of a glass, which I didn't notice until I drank all the beer. But it was nice sitting on the outdoor patio. It was ok, good not great, not much atmosphere, but they do have a full bar. Hostess seated us at a dirty table with the check still on it which didn't get cleaned until we asked. Taking advantage of the full bar, I ordered an Irish coffee for this cold rainy day, but all I got was cold coffee with whiskey and whipped cream on top. Looked good but not even close to a real Irish coffee. But it was strong! My Cobb salad was a generous portion, but poor with bland chicken, cold limp toast, and thin, gray colored blue cheese dressing. On a high note, the tri tip sandwich was tender and we'll cooked. Fries we're also good. Our server was attentive but I couldn't help notice the couple across from us trying to get their servers attention for too long. They have an extensive breakfast menu so I'm thinking this may be a better breakfast place.
Breakfast time was crowded with lots of locals who are known by staff on first names basis. Breakfast was just OK - no big tasty Wow. I have enjoyed tastier breakfast for the same price at other breakfast cafe's. Service was 5 ✨ stars. Coffee was ok as well. Presentation looks great - colorful
I have been here several times now. The interior restaurant is clean but dated. It has a very nice outdoor patio but it’s the plastic chair type experience. But restaurants are about the food. Have had there French toast and pancakes on different occasions as well as their bacon. Honestly it’s just another greasy spoon breakfast joint. Perhaps the standards are ignored as ever time I’ve come the food is not good. Uninspired would fit. Even the bacon is just an everyday product I could get at Safeway. Service is much the same. They could do much better. What I have had I could get at Dennys.
When we first got to Cody's Cafe, we were left wondering where the hostess was since there was a sign that said to wait outside for the hostess to seat us; the hostess never came. We went inside and asked to be seated. They told us to sit anywhere we'd like, so we did(only about 5 tables were occupied). Within 2 minutes of sitting down, an older man approached us and asked our drink order. After receiving our drinks we never saw any waiter/waitress. We waited 25 minutes, and no one approached us. The table that came in after us got their order taken and received their food even before we got our order taken. It wasn't until a waitress saw me get up that she approached our table to ask us if we were ready. Extremely disappointed and annoyed at their service.
I ordered a tri tip scramble for brunch that was at least a third gristle and fat for the tri tip. Local since 88' and ate at Cody's and Mesa many times but won't return to Cody's.
The hash browns were not fully cooked and had a bland taste even with salt, pepper and ketchup. Eggs were served cold. It was not busy when we arrived but more people showed so maybe that's the reason for the cold food. Disappointed as they were better before. Service was good though. Hence the 2 stars instead of 1.
Food was bland. French toast needs vanilla, more batter, cinnamon, anything! Service was fine but the food wasn’t great.
Food is incredibly mid and expensive for how not great it is. Server was very inattentive. Didn’t get honey or other requests I was looking for.
we had breakfast, and it was the worst breakfast, I ever had, it was as cold as ice, and it wasn't even busy, it was just sad after working all night and your hungry
Noise and Horrible food. In the kitchen every one is yelling. In the restaurant the Ecco cannot let you listen your partner, although we were far this time in the kitchen and some waiters were yelling. There is a guy serving the orders, he does not have idea how to serve, is rude and with no care put the orders on the table. The manager was laughing and talking with clients from one table for about half an hour. The food was horrible it seemed like make with remains. The eggs had not only sausage but pieces of meat mixed alltoghether. The corn muffins were hard like rocks, two days old. The butter was not butter. Everything greasy and sad.
For breakfast no Vanilla creamer, the coffee that is coffee flavored vanilla is nasty. My meal two Eggs bacon toast and country Potatoes. You think that this combination would not be is hard simple right and they got right was the eggs Sunny side up; When serving toast 5 minutes later from your meal when that party your meal and now your meals cold is not good customer service But of love my country potatoes and not be so thick Which made them taste under cooked. Would not ever recommend this place to eat. 31.00 For a decent meal not happy and still have to go by 2 separate coffee's from somewhere else. Go to McDonald's instead of this place, or ihop, Denny's as well I do not recommend them.
Worst service my grandfather and I have experienced in a very long time. They sent a busser girl back in substitute of the waiter (who was not very busy at the time from my observation). We had to waive her over after 20 minutes of waiting for our bill. And the busser could not have been more than 14 years old. Food wasn't bad, but extremely poor service.
My daughter and I both have had food poisoning and its after-effects for a week after having had a mediocre lunch at this place. All it has going for it is its location. Most people seem to come for the booze. The food is terrible, the menu uninteresting. My daughter had huevos rancheros, which ... better left undescribed; not a happy picture. I had a chicken club sandwich. The bacon was rancid, and the chicken was some sort of processed slab of flavorless mystery meat drenched in cheap melting cheese: revolting. Memorable -- in the worst possible way. Avoid at all costs!!!
Good service, the omelet was good but my breakfast was not very good. Hash browns were cooked in something NOT butter or margarine, crispy but off tasting, no seasoning. Corn tortilla was deep fried in old off tasting oil, really gross. No gluten free breakfast breads. Check was not itemized .Will not return.
