Ambiente pulito gentile e giovanile non ho pranzato ma ho fatto solo colazione con caffè e focaccia buonissimi dalla cucina usciva fuori un profumo buonissimo di mangiare ci tornerò sicuramente per mangiare

Dopo aver trascorso due ore a visitare i forti, con mio marito ho preso un caffè con una fetta di torta di loro produzione. Per chiunque si trovi in zona consiglio una tappa presso questo ristorante davvero accogliente e caratteristico! Questa volta ci siamo fermati solo per un piccolo break ma abbiamo provato la cucina con una coppia di amici qualche anno fa, ed eravamo due famiglie con bambini piccoli e il pranzo è stato davvero ottimo
We had Christmas lunch there and had a great time. The food was excellent, the girls who served us were very kind and professional, and the owner and all the other staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
After a snack with friends at the end of the trail from Forte Sperone to Trensasco, I rediscovered this restaurant/bar/refreshment point after years of not being there, and in my opinion, it was a wonderful discovery!!! The place itself was once a bit run-down and the food mediocre. Nowadays, however, you can enjoy some of the classics of typical Ligurian cuisine such as Ravioli col tocco, Pansoti in walnut sauce, Mandilli al pesto, and last but not least, because you can find them in season, Taglierini with fresh Porcini mushrooms. The main courses vary depending on the season, and the desserts too, but everything is delicious and very reasonably priced!!!! To be honest, since we had a snack with friends, we've been going there with family almost every weekend, and the people I've invited to eat with us have always been so satisfied that they keep coming back!!!! In the summer, you can enjoy the cool air outside on the veranda, and in the winter, the stove provides that cozy warmth just like a mountain hut!!! The girls serving tables are very kind and friendly, and Claudio is the best both outside and behind the bar! The two ladies in the kitchen are fabulous! ^_^ See you tonight, and enjoy your meal!
We had lunch with friends on Sunday at the Baita del Diamante. The staff were wonderfully welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Pansoti with walnut sauce, pesto lasagna, and a platter of cured meats and cheeses...all delicious! The garden chips were delicious! We'll be back!
I love Baita del Diamante! It offers a relaxing atmosphere, both in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for aperitifs or dinner, where you immediately feel at ease. Recommended for aperitifs, which are the perfect time to relax, enjoy good food, and spend time with friends in a welcoming and quiet setting. The Friday night aperitif is excellent! Rich and satisfying, the portions are generous, and each dish is prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Everything is excellent: the quality of the food, the variety of options, the kindness of the wait staff, and the organization.

At "la baita del diamante," the atmosphere is truly that of a mountain cabin: a family-friendly, warm, welcoming, and very peaceful setting. The interior is beautiful, furnished in wood; it feels like being in another dimension. The dishes are homemade, plentiful, which is never a bad thing, and truly delicious, not to mention the ingredients seem incredibly fresh. The French fries are finally real, sliced and fried potatoes, not prepackaged, chemical-tasting ones. I was told the roast beef with artichokes was very good, and everyone loved the tripe, even those who normally hate it, so I'd say it was truly delicious. The ravioli au tuccu were delicate and very good. Trofie with pesto were delicate and amazing. The chocolate cake was DEVASTATING, and the coffee trifle was very good. The very friendly and charming owner served us and made us feel at home. We were pleasantly surprised by this place on the slopes of the Diamond. We'll definitely all be back, because it's out of this world! TRY IT, TRUST ME!!!! It's worth the drive, and the view of Genoa... I don't need to say anything else.
It's a restaurant/trattoria located at the end of the very long mountain path that leads from Righi to Sant'Olcese. It takes its name from the famous Diamante fort (already reviewed) located in the area above. Yes, it's a mountain hut; the place looks just like that... simple and informal, with a small indoor area and a covered outdoor terrace. Extremely welcoming, with a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere, I really liked it. The menu offers a decent selection of dishes, plus some off-menu options...naturally, there are no fish dishes, but that's understandable. The servings are generous and very good, and the quality of the ingredients is immediately apparent. I recommend the house antipasto and the mixed grill, the meat is excellent. The desserts are also excellent. In the evening, you can also have pizza, and I hope to try it soon, knowing it will be as excellent as everything else. The girls in the dining room are fantastic. During the week, the place is only open for dinner, but on weekends, also for lunch. It can also be reached by car via another route. I will definitely be back.

Locale caratteristico,carino.Sono andata con tre amiche, abbiamo preso i tagliolini agli asparagi e fonduta,due verdure grigliate, una patatina fritta e tre dolci.Una bottiglia di vino e acqua. Tutto ottimo! Le verdure e la torta consigliatissime. Personale gentile e prezzi buoni. E poi la visita è stupenda 😊
Downsized snack. I've been back before, but this time I had to settle a bit. The quality and prices were OK, but this time the cake slices were way too small, as were the small glasses of wine. Why?! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming on a cold first day. Oh well, that way you won't gain weight. Worth it.
I ate there years ago, today just passed by for a trek to Forte Diamante
Sunday lunch, five friends, a toddler (under 1 year old) and a dog. A relaxing, quiet, and very informal place. (It would have been great to have an awning to protect us from the sun, which was insistently infiltrating the veranda, forcing us to constantly change the position of our chairs, but whatever.) The guys who run it are kind and friendly. Perhaps their organization isn't quite up to par, or maybe it's just one person's distraction, but they completely forgot we'd ordered main courses, and a really long time passed between courses. (I've read that this has happened to other reviewers, so perhaps they should be a little more careful.) We ate five appetizers, four first courses, three second courses, five desserts, and four coffees, one bottle of house wine, and two bottles of still and sparkling water, spending €148.50. The quality of the food is truly excellent and the dishes are prepared with care, but while some are superb, others leave a little to be desired. The appetizer tartares were each better than the last, a sign that the quality of the meat is far beyond excellent... But the grilled meat was a real disappointment. We had warned that four of us would be sharing two grilled meats... yet on both plates there was a piece of sausage the size of a thumb (2-3 cm, I think, is a joke) and of the five other pieces of meat, three were basically just fat (it's not that I have a big problem with it, and with some cuts of meat, fat is the good part, but, damn, I ate as much as a bird on that plate, and I was really disappointed given my incredibly high expectations after the tartares). The first courses were very, very good, but even here they weren't as plentiful as one would expect. That said, I'm sure I'll eat there again, both for pizza and snacks, and I hope to be able to eliminate every negative aspect of my experience there. In any case, I recommend it because it's worth it and because the kids deserve to be able to make it ☺
I returned after the change of management and found the atmosphere very refined and the service staff very friendly and professional. The "cut" is a little less "rustic," but obviously these are personal choices and tastes. The sandwich with mustard and egg was really good. A small misunderstanding about the prices, however, disappointed me. I'll return because only those who do nothing make no mistakes, but I admit I was disappointed. More for the appearance than the substance.
A welcoming and casual place, even if the space is a bit small. The menu is simple, perhaps a bit short, and portions are average. Service is average, and the staff are friendly. The appetizers are a bit limited. The pansotti with walnut sauce are good. The polenta is very delicious, in its various forms, both with cheese and sauce. Desserts are adequate. The table layout needs reconsidering, as it's too close to each other.
