Food is great at lunch time but bring your own Louisiana hot because you won't be getting more that 4 little packets of hot sauce, that's the only bad thing I can say about this place .

Great food and service as always. Their catfish is not greasy like other places. We eat there about every other week. Only wish dining room was open then 5 stars.

Fast service. Every once in a while gives you more chicken strips than you ordered. However last time I went I received regular chicken strips instead of spicy. Overall they seem pretty friendly here.

It can take a while to get the food sometimes, but it's usually very good in the end, plus they have never messed up on any order I've ever placed and that deserves a lot of recognition!

Went to get 30 tenders to go, they sure do take their time, asked for half regular half spicy, they only had 10 spicy and put the rest as regular tenders, well was not gonna wait 15 extra mnt for spicy. but the black girl at drive thru was really cute tho so i dont care lmao.

I ordered fish and fried okra which came with a drink. Paid through the drive thru and was asked to pull forward. I waited quite some time while quite a few customers got their orders and left. When my order finally arrived the drink I ordered was not with it. If it weren’t for the food being so good and the young server being so nice I would have given it 5 stars.

Chicken was cooked to perfection and the service was fast. Not real expensive. Clean dining area. Sweet tea tasted like it was out in the heat a little too long. That is the only bad thing I can say about this establishment.

I'm giving this place 3 stars this time because even though they have really good chicken and sides, the employees EATING behind the counter really made me question my decision to eat there. This is the first time I've ever observed that behavior at this location.

I just picked up a 20 tender family meal which came with a family side. That was all good. My disappointment is that the extra family side of fried pickles was supposed to be a 24 ct., but I only received 5!! I should have thoroughly checked my order before driving away. Chicken Express has said they will replace my order on my next visit

The price has went up so much. We spent like $92 on. The spicy chicken tenders were atleast like 7 or 8 hrs old. They were like super dried out. You shouldn't sell someone something you don't want to eat

My niece insisted on having chicken after she was crowded Homecoming queen, so we went. This place had drive-through only and was hiring. There was a 20 plus minute wait in the drive through, but the food seemed to be fresh and hot. The economy has everyone struggling.

Service here varies. Overall it's not bad. Sometimes the regular chicken tenders taste extra plain, like no salt at all. Occasionally I get regular tenders when I ask for spicy. Sometimes the spicy tenders are super spicy and other times they're less spicy. Overall not a bad place, average service most of the time.

I tried to step out on faith with this place. I don't really do fried foods, so the gizzards were too much for me. The cream corn was too creamy for me. But, if that is what you like, please give them your business. My sister got the livers and my son got the fish and they really enjoyed it.

The line was long but moved quickly until we got to the window. 5 other cars behind us were taken their orders before someone even came to the window to let us know our fush would be ready soon. When our order was given to us I asked for our tea. The young lady said, "oh you haven't received your tea?" and even looked in the car.

We spent 40.00 for 2 people. Cat fish it was not good at all I could not even eat it it was hard as a rock. Spent to much not enough gas to go back to refund . Well never go back. We waited 25 minutes on them to get order.

Recent trips have had cold chicken but it still tasted pretty good. Yesterday's meal was inedible though. The chicken and fries were undercooked and the rolls were old/dried out.

New owner or new recipes. But not as good as before. Don't even have the Texas Pete hot sauce anymore. And they sweet tea taste funny now. Maybe it's me but used to love this place now they are under budget or just changing their ways.

There was a lot of chicken already cooked and they had only been open a short time. I then saw there was a big pile of fries. I asked that I have some fresh fries. Nope. They just put some back into the grease for enough time to heat them up...they were so full of grease. The chicken was also cold, not even warm. Staff was not friendly, not rude, just not at all welcoming. Nobody wanted to come to the counter to even take our order. We were the ONLY ones there, so it wasn't like they were busy. Would NOT recommend. But maybe that's what I get doe trying to east fried foods that I don't need.

Be sure to check your meal before you drive off. Ordered a 7 piece tender meal and was given 5 small tender pieces, Either someone don't know how to count or they are trying to skimp the customer. The food was not fresh and hot either. Hard and dry chicken tenders. They USE to have better quality! Don't waist your money here, instead take it across the street to wings over seagoville!

They always forget to put in silverware when you're ordering Mashed Potatoes, in a take out order... I didn't like they way the attendant at the window talked to me. Seems to be hit or miss on the strip or bone in combo. Honestly not worth the time or food. The second star was for the Sweet Tea since I can never complain about that. Best part of this place.

This is our go to sometimes for a quick family dinner. I was concern when my husband had to repeat himself many times while ordering through the drive thru. I always thought it was the speaker but we never had a problem. When we drove up to the window. She handed him the order with a AirPod in her ear…. Soo instantly I’m assuming she was still listening to music but we noticed we were missing some stuff that we actually told her to put on the order. We then got her attention again and added family size Fries ( that we ordered at the drive thru speaker ) and ended up getting them for free but at the end when we took it home my husband had to share his mash potatoes with me b/c my side were fries instead of a mash potatoes as we ordered. At least pause your music or take off your ear piece to give a customer full attention instead of telling us your can’t hear us especially at a drive thru.

Chicken could've been cooked longer. Bad/ fatty cuts of meat. Okra was cooked too long. Card machine wasnt working. Took forever when we were the only customers there.

Ordered catfish. When arrived it was pale.tried to eat the underdone rubbery fish. I couldn't eat it. Took it back to the counter and told them I was disappointed. The counter person just looked at me with a blank look. He offered nothing, so I walked out.

Ok, so I asked for extra ice and didn't get it. I asked the young lady to please give me extra ice. She takes my drink and comes back with what seems like less ice. Take a drink, and even the lemonade is warm. Get home, my roll is all smashed, and the Mac and cheese has no flavor, runny, and it seems like it came right out of a box. Reminder of why I don't eat there. But the ice is good, if I would have gotten extra ice!!

Afternoon and evening drive thru people are rude and incompetent. Definitely check your order. You also have to ask for all condiments even napkins wth? Don't expect a warm welcome or a thank you. Food is 4 stars but customer service and management need to realize angry customers can spend their money elsewhere. No contact number on website to reach owner or g.m. which I'm sure makes the employees feel safe not being able to be reported. Hopefully the owner reads this and trains them or cleans house.

The service sucks now. The young men wear there pants half down the butts. Then I came in tonight and Mercedes G was the cashier. When she was called to the register she walked up eating her French fries. Didn't wash her hands but preceeded to ask what I needed to order. The entire time I was given my order she had an attitude. Chicken express in Seagoville needs a manager at all times. Maybe if a manager was present some things would get better!

This is the worst of all the Chicken Express locations. 47 dollars for three 7 piece tender meals. When we got home and opened them they were all 4 piece meals. 2 were missing their side item and one had no roll. This place is another example of how horrible corporations are. Charge as much as possible and then don't even give you what you overpay for.

We ordered the family tenders plus Xtra sides the chicken was cold as were the sides. Brought it back told them it was cold the Manger snatched the bag and asked if I ordered "fresh food".... why would you not give fresh food was my response. She then slammed it the trash saying now I have to cook food all over again!

We ordered a 12 piece mix and the chicken taste as if it was cooked a day before. It was cold and dry. Staff was friendly but $23 for some stale chicken didn’t rub me or my tummy the right way.

The staff were nice. The rolls were not fluffy or brown. I ordered an 8 piece mixed. They were out of breast but then someone changed their order so we were able to get a breast. I got 4 wings, 2 legs, 1 breast, and 1 thigh. That is crazy. My husband said,"I don't want a bunch of wings"and then that is what we got. Two of the wings were crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside. 8 piece should be 2 legs, 2 breast, 2 thighs, and 2 wings. At least that's the way most places do it.

Don't waste your time!! Spent $40 for chicken tenders only to get home after a 20 minute drive and find that they left the gravy out. Best part is I called and they couldn't care less. What a joke! If I ran a business like this there wouldn't be a company to write a review about....

This was the worst food every . I ordered 2 orders of chicken livers that were do hard you couldn't even get my dog to eat one. Called they said they were cooked fresh when ordered they were hard and black inside and no way they were just cooked made the excuse they had a new cook who was still learn. Lost my business $15.00 in the trash ..

The chicken was cold, okra was dripping in oil and cold, the dinner roll smelt and tasted old. This was horrible, I have never had a bad experience with Chicken Express but apparently there's a first time for everything. I will never return to this location. I also called and told the man that answered the phone and his response was ok.

Terrible experience. I was in the drive through and ordered my food, finally got to the window after 8 mins. I never check my order but today I did. They completely got it wrong 100% so I pulled around and went inside. I ordered a number one which comes with 4 tenders and had fried pickles with a a roll. They gave me Mac and cheese and mash potatoes. Another customers order was messed up also, and he came in after me. They fixed his order before mine and I waited another 9 mins to get mine fixed. After they “fixed” it I was late to work from my lunch break and they still only gave me three tenders because I didn’t have time to check it. This chicken express sucks 100% do not recommend. I will never be back.

The food was good and hot. Service was with a friendly smile. However, the lock on the women's restroom was not working and there was a sign on the door to knock before entering. I had gone in to use the facilities and right at the moment I say down, someone opened the door without knocking. I was curious, needless to say, it was none other than an employee that worked there. Do they have morons that can make a sign but can't read them? So what is up with that? Are they to cheap to even get a lock fixed? Makes one wonder. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon. If not, I would say POOR management!

Order taker kept messing up our order (2 #4 meals) chicken very greasy, fried 1/2 cooked, soda tasted like the smell of a dirty bathroom. No napkins, place was a mess inside. Bad Management all around. No Forks here!

I just left this renovated location hoping to get a good experience. Well the person working the intercom was rude! The voice box is not a well working one and cuts off. She didn’t I didn’t hear her so I asked the question again and received a rude response with a rude tone. My food was cold! And my biscuit looks like it was removed from the trash after getting stepped on. I am disappointed as I was looking forward to a hot meal and warm biscuit to enjoy after a long day of work.

Went a couple of months back and spent nearly $50 on chicken tenders and sides. Waited about 20 minutes in drive-thru, got my food. I asked for TWO jalapeno ranch and was told I would have to pay for it! Are you kidding? I just spent $50 on food and I have to pay for TWO dipping sauces!? Drive thru server wouldn't budge so I asked for a manager. She had to go fetch her from behind the dumpster! She absolutely refused to give 2 sauces. I pointed out how much I spent and have spent over the last several years. She didn't give a damn! She said if I wanted sauces at no charge, I would have to give the gravy back. Are you kidding me!? I told her that I would never be back, ever. Their chicken strips aren't that great! I will take my business elsewhere! Absolutely ZERO care about customer service.

When driving up to the place there was only three cars in the parking lot and one in drive through. We ordered 2 large sweet teas. Car at the window left and I pulled up and sat there for literally 10 minutes for 2 teas I know it don't seem like a long time but for just 2 drinks. Saw people walking by the window but no one said a word. My mom got out and flagged some one down and she had asked why it took so long the guy replied were really busy. Also it's 3 pm.

So Chicken Express offers old, fresher than that, and fresh chicken. However, you have to be "specific" with your order. I ordered a 12 piece mixed chicken. It was dry, hard, and stiff. I went back inside to inform the manager that the chicken was old and that I wanted fresh chicken. Her reply was "You didn't say you wanted fresh chicken!" Really??!! So one should not assume that the chicken should be fairly fresh?? With much going back and forth she finally agreed to replace the chicken with "fresher than that chicken" but was upset that she was having to throw away $30.00 worth of chicken. Well Ms Manager that chicken was very much ready for the trash long before you tried to pass it on to me! The other reviews are correct. Please be very specific that you want fresh chicken because obviously old chicken is always sold even when it's ready for the trash! I visit Chicken Express bc my son loves it but I will not visit this location again bc the manager is beyond rude and lacks any type of customer service skill.

Been living in Seagoville before Chicken express opened. Was really good food but has declined significantly the past few years. Seems like I always get tenders that are dry and have been cooked way ahead of my order. Didn't used to be that way. I should at the very least get fresh cooked food and hot food which I didn't get. Seriously thinking of not going to this place anymore. Just not good and didn't give my wife her okra again. Happens every time she orders it with her liver. She said her liver also tasted old. Shouldn't even give it 1 star.

We went up there to purchase 6 piece chicken livers with biscuits and gravy and a 2 piece order of chicken with one order of fries, we ended up with. We ended up with 2 chicken liver dinners and 2 peace chicken times 2 + 3 orders of fries and cost $37 and biscuits were hard. Corn fritters were hard and no taste. Was too late to tell them. They did the order wrong. The speaker doesn't work so customers can't correctly. Place the order.I will never go back

This was the second time going to this place around 2100 or a bit before and understand it close at 2200 but my God the chicken taste old and cold and the fries hard as a brick and cold as well this will be the last time going here when Chick Fil A is just down the road now. To expensive to not get a decent meal.

Very disappointing. The chicken was cooked correctly. That's all the good I can offer. The mash potatoes are dry and when I requested more gravy I was told no, that's just the way they are. The Mac and cheese was overcooked and watery. The chicken pieces were small - about half the size of a normal tender and one of the "pieces" didn't have any chicken at all, it was just a clump of perfectly cooked batter. The location was hot and dirty with over flowing trash, messy floors and greasy tables. Loud noises were coming from the kitchen making it difficult to hear and be heard. Overall a dreadful visit. One I don't want to ever repeat. I recommend finding a better location and a manager that doesn't raise the prices and cheat the customers.

Visited this location on Saturday was assaulted by an employee behind the counter. She threw a whole medium cup full of Dr Pepper and hit me in my face with it because I came in and asked how much longer the order was gonna take after waiting 12 minutes the manager said she fired the girl, but I’m not sure I wasn’t able to get the employees name.

Nice building & design but that's it. The employees are kids and kids who don't care about anything but a paycheck. That said, I asked if the fries had just been cooked. Oh yes they said. So I ordered two tender meals with fries. The tenders were hot. The gravy was Lukewarm and clumpy. The fries were cold and soaked in dried greese on the surface. I took them back as said I asked if they were fresh and hot and you said oh yes. They are not! Look at the gelled greased. He said ok sorry. Dropped a basket full and said they be ready in 5-7 minutes. I went back ate my chicken. 10 minutes later my fries were on the counter. They were already cold. I just shook my head and left. Being that I was from out of town by 69 miles I won't be back nor would I recommend this location.

Recently ordered from here around 11:45am and my tender were cold not even room temp. There was no warmth to them at all! Like the order was made for someone else and handed off to me.

I come to the chicken express in seagoville several times a week. I have never had issues here but tonight when I placed my order the order was not correct... The order had to be fixed and was a $2 difference. So I gave her $5 in cash to fix it. Instead of letting me know she would have to refund the transaction and ring it up again. She just refunded the transaction I have now been sitting waiting for the refund to go through so I can repurchase my food over a $2 difference because I do not trust that the system might not have a glitch and not refund my purchase. This is absolutely insane && I will never come to this chicken e again. The employees are usually very nice and tonight everyone has been rude. This is the first time I have ever had a issue. I work in customer service & understand how things normally operate but the cashier should of let me know what was going on before making a decision on to refund without validation as to if I wanted to wait for that type of transaction. So no food. No refund. This is fantastic!

Worst place to go and tell them you want fresh chicken. Wait 25 minutes and get everything but the chicken cold. Employees acted mad when you asked for fresh chicken. Hopefully with service like that the place gets shut down or the employees fired.

Service has really gone down at this Chicken Express in Seagoville within the last two months. The staff is not friendly in the drive-thru, they don’t tell you when ordering if the order will take longer than 20 minutes in line so consumer can decide if they want to wait. Today 11/15/2022, I stopped at 6:00 pm for an 8-piece family with mashed potatoes and the food was cold when they gave it to me at the window. I told the young lady and she said for freah hot chicken it was going to be 20 minutes for me to wait. I called the store, spoke to the manager and she said that I could wait the time for hot chicken or call ahead of time to place an order for fresh chicken 30-minutes prior to arrival. I said that was ludicrous and asked them to check the quality of the food before handing it to consumer or to turn up the warming lights for food cooked as I don’t pay $25 to have to go home and warm up the food. Her solution was a 25% discount on next visit. Consumer alert only for you, but I hope your meal was hot and your service better than ours.

We had an extremely long wait as the line is wrapped around the building. Very busy time of day. This employee was out there feeding ducks biscuits and French fries which isn’t even good for ducks while there was at least 8 or 9 cars in the drive-thru line.

Every time I order food here I never seem to receive all the food I order. Something is always missing from my order. I went today hoping that I would get everything that I placed on my orders as in the past I always seemed to have something missing when I get home to open my bag. It never fails again today my sides on my order was missing. I double checked the bag before leaving and believed I received my sides instead I only received a dipping sauce inside and no side present on my order. This location will never receive my business again. Unfortunately just like this one several of the locations I have gone to in the past also seem to also be terrible. Step up your game Chicken Express, you can do better!

This place is just so bad. Use to be great but had a major decline in service and quality of food they are willing to put out. Management is rude and unwilling to right any wrong doin when it comes to incorrect, cold, or overcooked orders My order specifically sat on the counter unknowing to me because it was not announced. The box in question came out literally seconds after I walk away which tells me it was not fresh and after setting out for about 10 minutes due to no one calling out the order my food was now cold. Crazy part is the acknowledged their wrong doing but wouldn’t heat up my food. Just sad. This is one of the easiest jobs in the world and can’t be done or handled properly

We went through the drive thru and ordered gizzards that we requested not be cooked hard. We waited in line for 15 minutes and assumed this was because they were cooking them fresh. I also ordered a two piece combo . The gizzards were so hard there was no flesh on them, only crust. The two piece was luke warm. We live too far to go back and ending up throwing them out. I will not be returning.

This is the worst Chicken Express ever! Waited in drive thru line over 20 minutes for Chicken livers. After I get the receipt, it's shows 6-8 minute wait, NOT!! Livers were overcooked and hard. Sweet tea was not sweet at all. Cup of gravy only 1/2 full. Needless to say, I will never use this location again. Called to complain the next day, and the rude general manager said bring back the food and receipt and I'll remake the order. No way I will ever go back.

Came here this past monday to get food for my kids.. lady was very talkative, had me smiling and grinning showing my teeth.. Then she gasp and said did you see that car! It had a big gorilla on it showing its teeth going thru the drive thru.. i went to look, i never saw any gorilla on a car showing its teeth..I think she was talking about me.. Was told 15 minutes for tenders and after over 30 minutes they tried to hand me the wrong order. Then when they handed me the correct order it was missing one container of gravy and the other container was spilled all over the bag. Window person said we should probably be compensating you but I’m just an employee. Called to speak with mgmt. No apologies, just hey drive it 30 minutes back and we will switch it out.

I've been coming to this chicken express for about 15 years and this is the first time i have ever received such a disappointing meal. As expensive as chicken is, i cant believe they would give me nugget size pieces. 3 of the tenders were about half the length of a usual tender and the other 4 were more nugget size, shorter than the palm of my hand. Complete waste of money. Not to mention i get the 7 piece just so i have more to split with my toddler so thanks for ruining our dinner.

The second shift on June 13th, 2025 are a joke. Little kids acting stupid and playing too much. Asked if they can make chicken fresh. Mentioned they were going to have to anyways. Made me weight over 10 minutes holding up the line in the drive through. Got home to find they gave me old chicken and they were mostly just crust piece and hardly no chicken. My gravy was spilt everywhere. When I attempted to call them and try to get the order fixed they answered and hung up on me and then proceeded to not answer the phone. These little teenagers ain’t there to work. Just there to play and bs 24/7

You never have to worry about be coming to this business again. I understand I asked for fresh food and was told it would take 20 minutes. Then after way more than 20 minutes I call in to see if everything's okay and asked about a drink. She tells me the don't compensate for the wait for fresh food. Ma'am it's been way longer than you advised and I didn't ask for a free meal only a drink. You'd think that wasn't too much to ask but obviously I was wrong. To make matters worse after waiting all that time I still didn't get what I asked for a I requested 3 biscuits, 3 rolls and serendipity seasoning.

This place is a HUGE disappointment to the city of Seagoville! I’m mad at myself at this point because I kept having faith that they were just having “off” days! This time, I finally see that this place can only be as good as the management! I reached out to the owner of this location multiple times with NO response whatsoever! The manager is a young, arrogant, so-in-so that has zero consideration for the customer. To make matters worse they hire young folks with no work ethics who literally just state to the customer, “I just work here!” I am so over supporting this local business. Like others have noted, I am sitting here in the drive-thru watching every employee visible, eating and drinking the products WHILE ON THE CLOCK!!! I have tunneled people to drive to this location, bypassing others because it USE TO BE A++++! Not anymore… It has become straight trash and I want to make sure that all that mention wanting good chicken to me, know to keep on pushing pass this Seagoville location! Pictures are to show the sorry excuse for chicken tenders we were given, along with the overcooked, dried-out fries. The fresh fries were the replacement after being confronted and they weren’t even a full order🤬! 30 minutes at the drive thru window because our orders were such a disgrace!

drive thru service is not great at all they gave us expired ranch by a whole year ! girl in window has worse attitude ever the food is cold drinks are nasty . honestly the attitude and demeanor of the young girl at drive thru window is unbelievable and she should be fired or be on trash duty

Spent $26 on two 7-tender combos and the chicken tenders were tiny, or torn half pieces. They've increased prices and they're cutting the meal size like crazy. Besides that, it was all cold the fries were very old and dry. Don't waste your money here.

Usually get great chicken from here but we will not be going back. Half the order of chicken strips were small thin pieces definitely not enough to feed the hungry family. Usually my 5 year old eats 1 strip and he wanted more. I tried calling them to correct the order and the phone doesn’t work. Do yourself a favor save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.
