Laredo's Grill in Seattle is an absolute gem that deserves a solid five-star rating. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a lively atmosphere. The food was exceptional, with a tantalizing blend of flavors and generous portions. Whether it was their sizzling fajitas, mouthwatering enchiladas, or flavorful tacos, every dish was a delightful culinary experience. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that my dining experience was top-notch. With its authentic Mexican cuisine, vibrant ambiance, and impeccable service, Laredo's Grill has become my go-to spot for satisfying my cravings and enjoying a memorable dining experience.
Now this place is amazing! Hidden up on the hill just over the 99 highway, awesome deals the food was amazing! Started from the chips and salsa all the way to the burrito and tacos. Even the beer and tequila shot combos is what I needed for a hockey playoffs. Don't miss out don't miss this place!
I want to say wow to this heafty burrito. I love when restaurants don't hold back on the amount of food to serve. Not only was it huge but it was also very delicious. The tacos was my fave though! And the server. Uber nice.
We were visiting Seattle and the Habanero Prawns Enchiladas is hands down the best we’ve tasted in the world! We had to come back. The bread is soft and melts in your mouth, balancing the textures from the creamy sauce and prawns. Love the spice and umami flavours!
Fajita was very good. The vegtables werecooked the right amount and tasted good. The dessert was delicious too.
First time here and it did not disappoint the service was fast, attentive and efficient. The food was delicious and fresh and not greasy highly recommend
Laredos is the home base Go-To for meeting up with friends, getting drinks and great food (best tex-mex). The staff is extremely nice and inviting, and the location is perfect with quick access to 99 south for catching games in sodo or events in the city center. Great memories have been made here, and is Highly recommended by this google reviewer.
Margarita Monday is all I need to say. Opens at 4pm and every margarita is $5 ALL Night. Happy hour 4pm-6pm and after 10pm. $6 bomb a$$ nachos. $4 great salad and good queso dip. Regular menu is great too but happy hour deals and $5 margarita Monday are remarkable.
Friendly Mexican cantina. I enjoyed the mole enchiladas and Modelo cerveza. Chips and salsas were tasty too.
I loved this place! Happened upon it because it was near my hotel. Fantastic taco Tuesday deal and their tacos were so good! Delicious beer on tap too. And a very friendly bartender added even more to the experience.
Cute atmosphere. Outside dining. Indoor seating. All staff was masked and professional. Food looked and tasted amazing. Huge burrito for $13. Enough for 2 meals.
Really great place - very low-key, a good mix of folks eating, drinking and watching sports, but reasonably good music, great margaritas, and lovely food. Felt like a quintessential Mexican-American place, with nice booths and friendly staff. Nachos use real cheese!
Laredo's is a great neighborhood Mexican food restaurant and bar, that has a long list of food and an even longer list of drinks. Great atmosphere and setting, combined with good food, decent prices and a funny staff. They usually have specials everyday, so make sure to ask what's going on that night. You can never go wrong with carne asada with salsa verde.
As a born and raised Texan, I was so happy to find a tex mex place in Seattle that not only has queso, but also has breakfast tacos! Food was wonderful and atmosphere is awesome.
First time there. My friend and I were there for the first time. It was something we wanted to try from other places around. He thanked me for finding it as he also enjoyed it too. Food was great portion are very reasonable and filling. Service was nice too and accomodating. Will definetly go there again for lunch.
Coming from Texas, this food genuinely tastes like home. Their salsa is amazing and consistent. Fresh chips always. Happy hour is DAILY. Good portion sizes and have never been disappointed after at least 20 visits. Molly is fantastic and even started remembering our orders.
Just went here tonight. There were 11 of us! All I can say amazing, everything we had was FIRE good! The chimichanga best I’ve ever had, the truck tacos amazing, queso was not like any I’ve ever had but couldn’t stop eating it was so good! The barbacoa was spot on. The BEST Mexican food I have ever had! Highly recommend
I gotta say I was pretty impressed. I don’t know exactly what I was expecting but when I had the beans and tasted that smoky flavorful profile, I had a feeling I was in for a great meal. Is that epazote I was tasting?. Normally the beans can be an afterthought, but truly I feel like it’s how you can judge in Mexican food spot. I didn’t taste a lot of the Tex within the Mex, but maybe that’s because I ordered the shrimp tacos which were stewed and absolutely delicious. The tortillas are pretty soft. The chips and salsa and guacamole were Rock salad and the drinks were good too. Maybe the drinks are a little small and could’ve been more Texas size lol. Everything came out quick hot and in its right place, we were a large group and the staff did an awesome job accommodating us.
Ok u guys, Laredos is our new neighborhood fave. We just moved to the ‘best’ side of QA and were introduced to Laredos. The bartender Ken is a pro, adding to the bar top chatter in the best way. Fajitas and margaritas Thursday is now a tradition with our friends and has added a lot of joy to our life. Thanks Laredos~
This was a recommendation from our hotel and we were not disappointed. The service special and food was delicious. Our appetizer was brisket cheese fries, 1/2 price for happy hour. We ordered cheese enchiladas and chicken fajita quesadilla. This was well prepared with quality ingredients. A very special shout out to Shannon, an incredible server. This restaurant is a must stop!
It took a little over two years of driving past Laredo's Grill in Lower Queen Anne and always saying, oh I need to try there but FINALLY a few of us went last week for brunch and it DID NOT DISSAPOINT. First off, its a cute little place with a nice add-on outdoor sitting. Secondly, our server was so incredibly nice and pleasant. Thirdly, this restaurant serves bottomless mimosas for a very decent price and they actually taste good. Now to the picture posted below...I have never had a country fried steak taste so delicious. With the cheese and mole sauce on top I could have ordered 3 more. Don't be like me and keep putting of Laredo's. GO GO GO!!!!!
I went for happy hour and was pleasently surprises! They had a $6 three taco happy hour special which was fine- the el pastor was a little greasy but not much to complain about. Being so affordable, I was also able to get a tecate for $4 bucks which is a steal! The spicy queso was yummy. :) Overall, nice place to get some semblance of Mexican food. The server was very kind.
Great food, reasonable prices, nice neighborhood atmosphere and good wait staff. Definitely recommend
I've been enjoying food from here for many years. I miss the old menu greatly, but there are still delicious menu items to enjoy. The cheese dip! I can not recommend enough. The kids love coming here also.
Great sports bar. Official bar for University of Texas football games. Dulce Vida Tequila specials.
I thought our waiter was awesome! He answered all of my questions and didn't seem annoyed at all😃 The Mexican music was super fun and the tacos were frickin' tasty! Very good experience and would definitely go back!
Really cozy atmosphere, great tasting food, and a reasonable servicing size. We went there before a Kraken game / during a Seahawks game, and it wasn't too busy. The music volume was perfect, not too loud and we were able to have a good conversation while still enjoying the music and watching the game. They swapped over to the Seahawks audio in the last 2 minutes of the game which was nice as it was the key deciding plays. I had the carne asada, meat was perfect and well seasoned, rice was slightly undercooked but as soon as I mentioned it they brought out a new bowl and corrected the issue. My wife had the 3 taco combo was also very tasty. We would highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon.
The service was great the atmosphere nice. The food was a good portion size, at a good price, The quality of the cevche was very mediocre, and the chips a tad stale unfortunately.
We ordered avocado margarita and it was slightly sour! Not sure if it’s supposed to taste that way. Mango margarita was good. Chips and salsa are not free. Dips were tasty.
Delicious food. Idk how Tex-Mex authentic it was, but they tried. The decor is definitely Texan, the food is a bit Northwest Mex in my opinion. Still really good! Shiner bock on draft!
Had an excellent meal while staying a night in seattle. It's was a super close walk from our hotel and reviews are solid so we gave it a shot. This food is flavorful and fresh and a must try for Mexican and Tex-Mex fans. Great service too, thanks!
Lorenzo’s was great! You walked in and there’s a nice vibe and feel. The place is a little dark, but I love the wooden tables and chairs. The place is nice and clean and has a good layout. The food is great too. We love the queso. Different than the normal Velveeta you get at so many other places. It has a little spicy, but tasted perfect. We ordered the Al pastor tacos and they were loaded with meat. They could have used a little more onion and cilantro, but they had a good flavor. The margaritas were tasty. The traditional margarita had a light taste to it and almost tasted like a skinny margarita which we enjoyed it. They have a nice bar section and TV’s for watching the games. We’ll definitely go back.
Fun and tasty Mexican grill located off of Aloha street in lower Queen Anne! We got the tortilla soup and enchiladas plate with chips and salsa. Everything tasted good and came out quick. The bar is full service and they have a number of great cocktails including a house margarita that we tried. The staff are friendly. We were in there for any big occasion but they have a bunch of tvs and I’m sure it get active during a big game or fight. The only drawback was that they seemed slightly understaffed for the night.
Came here looking for a TexMex fix, based on recommendations by other Texas expats. Place is casual, Mexican music playing, not too loud, outdoor sidewalk patio seating. Service was quick and friendly. This is one of the few places with a house frozen margarita. It was limey, and didn’t taste too much like a mix, so that was good. Scratch margarita was even better. Chips were served warm, which is always a treat. Salsa is very blended and pretty mild, almost ketchupy. Could use more jalapeño and cilantro. Chorizo queso was really delicious, with a bunch of green chiles making it nice and spicy. TexMex enchiladas satisfied the desire for tons of melted cheese (see photo). Piccadillo in the enchilada was WAY above average. There were hints of oregano and cinnamon in the gravy, giving it some complexity. Rice was flavorful. Beans were not. Carnitas, however, are not carnitas. They are pork stewed in salty sauce, with no effort to crisp it up at the edges. So salty I actually couldn’t eat it. It was promising enough that we will be back to try fajitas and other enchiladas, but will never order the “carnitas” again.
The service was great! It was in a great location and had plenty of space, but it was HOT in that place. Like we could not wait to leave. The food was good, but was for sure not my favorite Mole in the world. Overall glad I went, but would not rally be drawn back.
We walked in last week late so probably we're the last to place an order. It was closing time so service was super fast. Our server was friendly and we got the special which was carne guisada and the fajita (combo of chicken and steak). We were famished and although the portion size was pretty good we finished it in record time (Personal best). I would recommend the fajita though, liked it better plus the portion of protein was super great.
This place was very close to where we were staying in Queen Anne. Has a dive bar feel but did not like smell of oil in many parts of the restaurant. The chips and guacamole are not recommended. But we got the black bean and corn enchiladas and quesadilla - those were awesome, incredible green sauce. Highly recommend that.
Food was okay, got the special tacos found it too oily and the tacos soggy. Ordered nachos- they arrived a little over done, mostly burnt on sides. Queso and chips weren’t appetising either.
Food was absolutely delicious. Every bite I had from a variety of plates, from tacos to the bean and corn enchiladas, was wonderful. However, only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the audacity of a Laredo-themed restaurant that touts itself as the home of University of Texas fans not offering Dr. Pepper. Charging for chips and salsa was also pretty disappointing.
I keep looking for a good Tex-Méx place in the PNW. This is NOT it! If you are serving a margarita - serve it in a real margarita glass! The tortillas are undercooked and definitely not home made! Pico de gallo had no jalapeños, salsa has chili powder (this is NOT Tex—Mex) tortillas suck (see above). Good beans and rice. The steak was too thin and overcooked and the chile relleno was just white cheese on top of a poblano pepper! I am so disappointed! 😢
I first ate here several years ago and had fond memories of sitting on the outside deck. When I returned for dinner this time there were very few patrons, which was nice there was no wait. Al pastor street tacos were as good as I remembered, and I like their preparation style of using small chunks of pineapple. One of the daily specials was crispy beef tacos - they were just ok and I wasn't overly impressed with the flavor, menu said they included avocado but it didn't. The beans were lightly seasoned and just tasted like pinto. Service was fast and food came out quickly. I'd consider returning again but likely just stick with al pastor. Tip: there's very limited street parking but the QFC parking garage is within reasonable walking distance.
Great atmosphere and drinks. This would be a great place for happy hour. Food-wise, I was hoping for better, just didn't get anything memorable in a good way. Enchiladas looked great, but lacked flavor. Tortillas we're kinda thick. My wife's shrimp tacos had the same thick tortilla so she just ate the shrimp, which she says was good. I normally clean my plate when it comes to Tex-Mex, but not here. I'll undoubtedly return, but next time I'll focus on drinks. Full disclosure, I'm a Texan, so take this review with a grain of salt.
First issue was trying to put in a reservation online, it said nothing was available for several hours. We tried calling multiple times as we walked to the restaurant and no one answered. We were hungry and I really wanted Mexican so we just continued on and were pleased to see there were plenty of tables available. Service was slow, I felt like we were an annoyance to the server. We weren’t offered refills either… Food wise, the carnitas enchiladas were pretty good. The flavor of the meat was good and the meat was soft and easy to eat. The beans needed something more, I felt the rice needed more salt and flavor, but it was nice and soft. The chips and queso was very spicy for my taste, but after I got into it, it wasn’t too bad.
It’s okay. The music was extremely loud I kindly asked to be moved somewhere quieter and they ended up turning down a bit. Their queso and guacamole and house margaritas were the most disappointing part. Overall 5/10 and that’s only because the meat was good.
FOOD Al pastor tacos - juicy juicy! The sauce it has and adding spicy green salsa to it make it so so delicious. Chips and salsa were really good, specially the red salsa. Shrimp enchiladas were very very good, but did not have any cheese whatsoever - I would say it’s missing the cheese, but the taste of the sauce was so good, it’s has a tangy spicy taste like no other. Fajita and shrimp dinner were ok. DRNIKS Margaritas - was just ok Mango margarita - was like drinking a fruit slushy with no alcohol! Highly disappointed. SERVERS/SERVICE I also wanted to note the bartender was busy setting up after the restaurant was already open and the waitress was preparing our lame drinks. What really upset me was the waitress/server brought our electronic ticket and she had pressed the option of giving herself a 20% tip so when my husband went to push that options she then said Oh! just your signature. Who does that?!??? You don’t choose what we feel you deserve to get for a tip. Will never let that happen to us again. Thanks server you thought me a lesson and moving forward I’ll make sure I speak up.
Casual atmosphere but cozy and cute, very friendly and attentive service. Sunday eve, not too crowded. We both ordered different enchiladas, which were good, rice was a little stale. The worst part were the drinks, they do not know how to make a Cosmo- I got vodka and cran in a martini glass (fail). Next was the skinny marg- it had soda water to make it skinny also (fail). Please learn to muddle lime and use fresh juice, I know staff is hard to find but you can train them, or I will- Thanks
I will start that the food is delicious and good portions. The service was awful. Our waitress was inattentive and just seemed inconvenienced to help us. The resturant was quite busy but the waitress just seemed like she very much did not want to be friendly and engage with us she barely made eye contact. When I would ask her opinion on something she would pretty much just say whatever you want like it didn’t mater to her and she was disinterested in our needs. She was not a good representative of the restaurant
We’ve been coming here since the Kraken started. Back then I would say 5 stars. We continue to go before games—probably 8 times a year. But there’s been a noticeable drop in service the last two years. We recently waited nearly 10 minutes just to get waters—no apology for the wait. More common is waiting to order. This has been a consistent issue and it appears to be an understaffing problem. The place is usually busy but never packed during our experience, so it’s not like a rush of patrons. It’s disappointing and hopefully they fix it.
Not a real Tex mex restaurant. They served us wholly guacamole in a small ramekin for $9. No pico served. $20 quesadillas with shredded chicken and cheese only. Our entire party had stomach aches after.
I came here because I was looking for the best cheese queso in town. Laredos was at the top of a list I saw so that made me want to try. The queso was thick and chunky and not creamy like I was expecting. It was also spicy and I can’t tolerate a lot of spice. The taco salad was huge, my husband ordered fajitas and our server Judas was phenomenal. However, as we were leaving I left my AirPods in the case on the table (by accident). I called within minutes but was told they were not there and could not be found. I came back to look for myself but of course they had been taken. Overall my worst experience visiting Seattle.
