Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a dinner at Harvest Vine. Go on Tues-Sat when Juan Carlos is working front of house. Sit upstairs to watch the chefs. Get the beet salad. Dip your bread in the lingering sauce of each dish. Try some Spanish wine. Allow yourself to be whisked away. The energy we put out is the energy we get back, and Harvest Vine has plenty of good energy to give. This place is likely best for smaller groups in search of exquisite flavor in Seattle. It’s a tight space, It can be cold in the winter months, the service feels more familial than traditional fine dining. But the food is incredible. Every dish is well executed, simple, yet extraordinary. If you appreciate good food and people who are passionate about cooking said food, the price will be more than worth it.

Wow, what a special meal. The standouts were the Remolachas (thinly sliced beets) and the thinly sliced tuna belly. Unbelievable flavor. The olive oil was also the star of the show. The champiñones were delicious, and the lubina (sea bass) was made better by the peppers. Overall, a very romantic spot and one of the best meals in Seattle. The only way it could have been made better was if it hadn’t been so cold on the lower level.

Top notch food from Basque Country. So good. We had squid, venison, cauliflower, beet salad, anchovies and I don’t remember what else but everything was delicious.

Top 10 meals of my life. Amazing atmosphere, tapas style food was so delicious, and service was timely/attentive. Go with at least a party of 3-4 to try more things! See pic captions for recommendations/commentary Street parking pretty readily available in the neighborhood.

Great tapas, overall tasty with the ones I tried. Duck liver is a surprise and totally wowed me, gently melting inside your mouth with just right amount of crispy from pan fried texture outside, together with a hint of sweetness from jam puree, perfect! This dish alone worth a full star. Octopus is very tender.

The Harvest Vine is absolutely stellar. As I ate the scallops, I turned to my wife and said, “I’m not sure I deserve this”. That is the mix of enjoyment and mild guilt this restaurant inspires. 1000% recommended.

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. This Basque cuisine features multiple levels and a fantastic assortment of tapas meant to sample and share. They have a great wine selection and very high quality dishes. The service is excellent and they are very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. I recommend it to anyone looking for a special, upscale dining experience in Seattle.

In a city that somehow has earned a reputation as a "foodie destination"—mostly by people who confuse $29 smash burgers with culinary innovation—The Harvest Vine is a rare, glorious exception. It’s one of the very few places where everything actually comes together: food that’s not just good but legitimately excellent, prepared with real care and respect for the ingredients, an outstanding wine list that doesn’t insult your intelligence, and service that’s both joyful and genuinely warm. While much of the city’s dining scene is busy chasing trends or charging obscene prices for mediocrity, The Harvest Vine is the real thing—authentic and consistently superb.

Everything we tried at The Harvest Vine tasted wonderful and was plated beautifully. This was the perfect restaurant for a birthday dinner with my parents :) we ordered a total of 8 dishes, including appetizers, mains, and dessert, to share among the 3 of us, and it was just the right amount. My favorite main dish was the Octopus! My favorite vegetable dish was the Spinach. The pine nuts and raisins pair so well with the natural bitterness of the spinach. We ordered 2 desserts, both of which were delicious, but if I had to pick just one to recommend, it’d be the Flan de Cafe. Everything we ordered (besides the bread) was gluten free, including the chocolate torte (flourless!). Great atmosphere and spectacular service! Looking forward to going back!

An outstanding meal at Harvest Vine. Tucked away in an unassuming storefront in Madison Valley, the restaurant transports you to a meal in Spain. The flavors and presentation were first class. I thought the basement seating had less ambience than the main level. Overall one of the best meals I’ve had in Seattle.

This is a relatively small restaurant located in a very quiet residential area. It's a spanish tapas restaurant, each dish is small in size but tastes so good. We booked this place for my husband's birthday. Initially, we were seated at the bar/kitchen area, which was not what we expected. We won't mind it if it is in winter, but the cooking in the kitchen creates a lot of heat and it was not a good experience in summer. We talked to the server, and he was able to move to an outdoor seat, which was much better The food was amazing, and the drinks were also very tasty. We really hope they have a bigger size of the paella. Overall it is a very nice experience for us. We would recommend taking a reservation and also specifying the preferred seat if you are not a bar seating person.

Our server, Dennis was nothing short of amazing! He helped us select the perfect wines to go with most of the menu that we ordered and even helped us pack up the leftovers. The food here is delightful, everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. I would personally recommend the pulpo or the lamb chops, the shrimp paella was also delicious. We had lots of small side plates ranging from blistered peppers to a full cheese tasting experience and all of it was tasty. 10/10 highly recommend

Chef Charles and his team took great care of us. We sat at the counter and my faves were the mushrooms, beef tongue, and oxtail. It was fun watching the food being prepared by the pros.

Few restaurants can transport you to the country that inspires their cuisine, this one does. You know real “Pata Negra” when you taste the one at Harvest Vine. It’s so exceptional you think you’re eating beef. Txistorra is a must order, as well as the olives I could tell they were not domestic as they had exceptional Spanish flavors. Also, no need to look at the menu, just ask Juan Carlos for his recommendations. Exceptional server. Tortilla Español reminded me of the one my Spanish mother would make me as a child. Well done chef!!! 👏

We love the Harvest Vine. The quality of the dishes and their presentation is first class. The wine list is extensive with many reasonably priced bottles. The ambiance and service is simply wonderful. We can only recommend this place.

Wow! What a treat! Perfect place to try Basque inspired cuisine in a nice, out of the way, neighborhood in Seattle. Highly recommend sitting at the bar (kitchen) and engaging the chef and his staff. Amazing food. Great place for a date. Sitting inside and outside.

Been here before and recently came back to have our friendship holiday dinner. Even after so many years, this restaurant is still a neighborhood hidden gem! Everything we had was delicious! In our opinion, this is the best tapas restaurant in the Seattle area. The staff is always kind, attentive, and amazing! Recommend making reservation due to limited spacing. Highly recommend Harvest Vine!

Summery Spanish tapas bar. The baked goats cheese dish was the standout, it's umami, and the goats cheese flavor is mellow and balanced out by the tomatoes. The free olive sampler is great, they aren't canned, and have distinct flavors. The flan was alright, it tasted great, but was more stiff than it should have been. Service wise, there was always someone interacting with our table and clearing it up; I would have preferred more privacy. One of the staff eventually knocked over a glass of wine onto me. However they did offer to reimburse the entire meal on their own.

It was superb. This would be about the 7th time we go there (my wife and I) . Like every single time food is carefully and artistically prepared, and it was delicious! Service is always supreme. We like to seat at the bar to see the preparation, it is so calming to see the chefs expedite food with such care, control and artistry. Beautiful part of town. I would always recommend this place to anybody.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. First, we were offered a gift certificate because the place was overbooked on the night of our original reservation and we were flexible to reschedule. When we finally came in for dinner they served us rose champagne and a small bite on the house. I just loved how they show their appreciation. Service was good and the menu offered actually quite of bit of the dishes that were actually offered in Spain. Some were cooked differently but I expected that. However, all the dishes were well made and the portions were good. I highly recommend the Spanish tortilla (this is definitely my favorite one made in Seattle - pretty close to what we ate on a regular basis when we were in Spain), the sauteed mushrooms and the Iberico pork dish. Would definitely come back!

Our second time here and it’s as great as we remember. Service, food, and the atmosphere work together perfectly. Pro tip: Seat at the counter. Watching them make the food is half the pleasure!

We were served by the incredible Juan Carlos. We had been wanting to check out the Harvest Wine forever, and finally decided to try to sneak in without a reservation as soon as they opened! We sat at the bar and had a front row seat at their open kitchen concept. We were there for a quick bite and 2 glasses of wine. We paired a Rezebal 2021 with the clams. I always prefer whites with seafood, but definitely could have drank a light, fruity red. The sauce was abundant and we dipped our bread in it throughout. You cannot go without ordering bread and olive oil here. The refreshing white paired well with the salty and fatty clams. This was followed by a recommended Rioja with the Cow’s tongue. The lengua de vaca was the star of the show. The cheese and chiles were perfection over the meat that was sliced so thinly it felt like a cloud. We had a late night reservation or else we would have had several other plates. We cannot wait to come back!

Cute and quaint little eatery for Spanish tapas. Service was excellent as was the food. They take reservations for groups and we had our own private room which was perfect. Would definitely return.

This place never disappoints. Whenever I eat here I feel transported to Spain. The tastes and presentations are impeccable and I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like. Most recently the seared goat cheese was so amazing I ordered a second serving!

100% enjoyed the dinner! This was first time trying the restaurant although i have heard the name of restaurant for long . Afew of plates we ordered we thought not salted enough, but everything was amazing. Iberico is a must to order!

The place has a very warm atmosphere, and an amazing wine list both by the glass ($10-15), and bottle. The selection for bottles is a lot better, so if you come in a group, that's actually a better deal. however, they don't do wine mixtures, like Sangria. It is great for big groups, so you may feel a bit awkward if you are by yourself. They have waiters that speak both English and Spanish, very nice and polite service. You can order tapas which can include aceitunas (olives), ham like Serrano, and a selection of cheese mostly sheep and goat. The portions are on the smaller size though if you have a good appetite, you will need between 3 or 4 tapas (small dishes) haha. They make all desserts in house, including the icecream! The flan de Vainilla is out of this world. The entrance it's a bit weird because you feel like you enter through the kitchen. Keep in mind: *Depending on the size of your party they have a limit on the time you can spend in the restaurant because of covid. *I recommend you do a reservation

This place is great. Was really busy when we went. You can make reservations. We were lucky enough to get a table for 2 before the crowd arrived. The food was amazing. Plenty of delicious vegetarian options. I can’t wait to go back.

The Harvest Vine is your hidden tapas bar in the cozy neighborhood of Washington Park. The Tortillas Espanola is a great starter filled with potato inside a tortila bun. The flan was delightful. A must-try place in Seattle!

Best and most authentic Spanish tapas in Greater Seattle. Great service, great team, great food, lovely wine list! Better than many good restaurants in Spain!

Best Spanish food in the Seattle area, by far. Good quality, authentic , good service, non pretentious, down to hearth staff that genuinely serves you well. One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. Stay on the upper level if you can, more vibrant atmosphere.

Attentive and warm/friendly service. Every plate we had was fresh and had layers of flavor. Stunning food. The Octopus was amazing. The closest thing to a Michelin star that I have tasted in Washington state. Bottle of wine, 3 plates each and desert was $150 a person.

Amazing Basque/Spanish restaurant featuring tapas/pixtos made to perfection. The scallops special the night we were the set the bar high in terms of flavors. Fantastic wine and Spanish vermut selection. We were lucky to enjoy one of the two outdoor tables for a fabulous dinner we won't forget.

Excellent sunny weather. Good friends. What should we do? We should meet up at Harvest Vine and sit at the outdoor table. We ordered various tapas. I loved the beet salad. The wine was terrific. Conversation was engaging. We had a great night!

Went here based on the recommendation of a friend who loved their experience. We arrived at 5 on a Sunday and sat at the chefs counter to observe them cooking. We ordered the Iberian pork, octopus, gazpacho, and cod. Overall, it's one of the rare Spanish food places in Seattle, had pretty good vibe and food. I found it a little expensive for the size of food, as the size is "tapas" but the price is "full size", and wasn't totally blown away by anything in terms of taste. The chef counter seats got a little too hot and made us sleepy, so we ended up leaving early. I would say it's still worth a visit if you really like Spanish food. Suggest visiting a little later like 7 so the vibe is more energetic. Octopus - this was our favorite, soft and delicious Cod fish - well cooked but nothing special Gazpacho - too sour for my taste, and tiny Bread service - basic baguette, not worth it Iberian pork - yummy, soft. Served with good potatoes. A little bit of the fibers could be removed for perfection

There are a few Spanish restaurants that do tapas in Seattle but this is one that really stands out. For starters, they’ve been around since the late 90s I believe. To have stuck around and be consistent with high quality and execution is not an easy task for anyone, especially in today’s environment. Gotta give it up for that. Great spot for a date night, or a celebration. Lovely ambiance. Just keep in mind the portions are small and pricey for what you get. However, everything we ordered was solid. Stand out dishes were the Spanish octopus, anchovy skewer, sea bass, championes, and the flan. Servers and staff were excellent. Just be prepared to pay and maybe leave a little hungry. Good thing Dick’s is nearby and open late lol.

edit: food still comes out slowly iberico pork is a must. The desserts are fantastic! Wine and olive was our least favorite but it was still decent. The flan was creamy and came with lots of sauce. Service here is still attentive. A place I will go back . prior review: The food comes out slowly, not a place to grab food if you have another place to go. A good place to be at if you have like 1.5 -2 hours for dinner . The place is small with around 4-5 tables tucked tightly together upstairs and a couple more downstairs. It is best to get a reservation. The octopus and oxtail were definitely my favorite. The octopus was smoky and not fishy . The oxtail was wrapped in a crunchy shell and full of flavor. Bread is bread, I wouldn't get it. I would come back to this place .

We sat outside on the patio for a casual birthday dinner and this place did not disappoint. Really personal service, good food at a nice pace, and a really chill Spanish vibe. Dessert on the house was a nice surprise. This neighborhood gem was hopping with regulars by the time we left. Plenty of seating downstairs as well. We will definitely be back.

Lovely drinks selection. The kitchen clearly takes a lot of pride and care into the dishes they serve. Only complaint - the cheeses were all a lot milder than expected, but that seems to be the taste preference here. The tortilla was also lacking flavour I’m used to in Spain. Nonetheless a sweet little spot for dinner, and the coffees were a great end to the night. Would give 3.5 stars.

We came here for restaurant week. They had a soup for starters, paella for mains and a flan for dessert. While the food all tasted great, the portions were very small and we were left unsatisfied given how much we were paying for it. I'm sure the rest of the food is good here too but would appreciate larger portions for a three course meal

L
Lin Lin Pan

Not bad. Highlight was the beets dish. Omelette a little potato forward and same with the octopus. But overall not terrible. Great ambiance downstairs.

C
Connie C

The restaurant has very nice vibe, cozy environment, great wine selection. However, I’m not super impressed with the food. If I come back next time would probably choose to do bread service with the beets salad and have a few glasses of wines. A strong impression of the food is that most dishes are very potato heavy. The pepper, cod and potato dish is special as it has an interesting and complex flavor. The octopus itself is very tender and tastes great, but the potato flavor overpowers the octopus flavor.

V
Vivian Ramirez

All I can say is, wow we got robbed last night! The portions were SO small, considering the price they really should figure something out so people don’t leave hungry. I understand ingredients are expensive but it’s not a tasting menu. Even the tortilla espanola was a small circle about three inches wide. For $16. The service was just ok I didn’t find we were well taken care of to justify the portions. I do not recommend this place. Daylight robbery.

Z

So I enjoyed the food it’s solid eats , but me and my wife came in and was greeted by a very lively fellow wich seemed nice at first , but then we sat and waited for 30 minutes before we even saw a menu because he was literally leaning over people between couples and having 10 minutes conversations . He walked by multiple times didn’t respond to the gentle “hello “ as it’s akward to yell out for a menu in an already Cramped beyond belief small restraunt . The prices are kinda insane , but the food is good . Just not worth taking the insane time it took to just see a menu , getting the food took awhile as well.
