People are super nice, food was excellent. We live in Midland and we work around seminole every once in a while. So this will be our go to place when we are in the area.

Really good home cook food. To bad they dont do friday night fish fry. And they cut their fries by hand so they would be a thousand times better if they were fried with onion to keep them from browning and to make a more crunchy outside while leaving the inside soft and buttery

This place is the most interesting and amazing place to eat at sort of pricey but affordable and is a very family and safe environment would recommend

Went for lunch. Ordered 1/4 lb cheeseburger with guacamole and curly (spicy) fries. Was really good. Service was great. When I come back to Seminole, I'll be going back to Daily Burgers

Very sweet and attentive staff, i mentioned an allergy and they worked around it. Those that know me know I am very picky about my quesadillas..they are faaaaaaabulous! Singsong tone and all. Will always return. ❤

I visit here from Florida frequently.... These are the BEST burgers all around and the fries are awesome too! All homemade... and complimentary chips and salsa to go with it, you can't beat it!

This place is very professional the staff was extremely kind especially to someone who had not been here before had no problems explaining the menu and recommending dishes they thought I would like 10/10 customer service. The food was all made fresh and came out hot i thoroughly enjoyed my meal 9/10 and the atmosphere of the place was probably the best I’ve seen in west Texas. All the people were happily eating talking and enjoying their meals young people and older couples it’s a place with enjoyable food for all ages and I highly recommend trying this place!

Eating at The Grub Shack made my stay in Seminole, TX, even more enjoyable. Helena and Jackie run a great restaurant with exceptional food. The quesa and tortilla chips, followed by the steak fajitas, were off-the-chart yummy.

We really enjoy Grub Shack, the food always tastes good, it has gotten more expensive throughout the last year, and the portions have gotten smaller. At this point we don’t eat there often cause there are other options around Seminole with better prices. Food is great though.

Great place, friendly staff, so far I like everything I've tried. Hamburger steak is my favorite so far. I definitely recommend it!

I have been here multiple times and the beef enchiladas with red sauce is amazing, the rice and beans are tasty as well! My family gets their cheeseburger with house fries, the fries are perfect and the burger is juicy and packed full of flavor! Great customer service and clean facility. Oh by the way their chocolate mousse pie is to die for 😊

Very clean and well maintained restaurant. Bathroom was very clean as well. I liked the decor. I ordered the steak fingers with fries and sweet tea and everything tasted good. Prices are not bad either. I would definitely stop in again sometime, and probably try their burger which they said was a bestseller.

Despite tech difficulties that was out of their control, we only waited about 10 minutes and had exceptional service. Everything we had; 2 mouth watering burger baskets, plentiful club sandwich, hand dipped kids corn dog, full order catfish plate and nacho fries, left us full and ready for a nap. A big group came in all at once after a basketball game and the staff handled the rush impressively! Food came out quick and everything was delicious! Definitely recommend and will be back if we're ever in town again.

My husband and I stopped by the Grub Shack on the way from Midland, TX to Hobbs, NM. We were very impressed. The cheeseburgers are good old fashioned burgers. I got the tater tots, which were very good, but next time I will get the onion rings. My husband shared a few of his and they were awesome!! The atmosphere is very welcoming and it is VERY clean. I would recommend that you give them a try if you are passing through Seminole, TX. We will certainly stop again next time we are in town.

Really good food. We had chicken fried steak with a few sides which the owner himself brought out. The waitress also brought us a chocolate frosted cupcake with extra chocolate kind of poured around it. Everyone was very friendly, and it was an overall great experience

Fresh food, great flavor, friendly staff and the cleanest place I have ever eaten in. I am one of the pickiest people on earth. I will not recommend a place unless its going to meet or exceed fresh food and flavor standards. I travel a lot for work and eat on the road. so many places claim their food is cooked to order, fresh meat, or never frozen. I can say I have been disappointed many times. I have never eaten steak fingers and was told by a friend that if I was in Texas I needed to try them. I had my first Steak fingers here at Grub Shack along with fresh cut homemade fries. Delicious! the wait is not long considering they are made to order. they also have a drive through but I am sure its always better from the kitchen to the table so I dined in. I have been back multiple times as the menu is very versatile. Being a green chili fanatic I had to try the Chili Rellenos stuffed with beef and smothered in a creamy cheese sauce. Amazing! full of flavor, the chili slices are big and the spanish rice served with it was great as well. not many Mexican places I have eaten at compare to this place. The deserts are also amazing having tried the chocolate, and carrot cakes! If anyone is in the Seminole area I highly recommend stopping in here for a hot fresh meal. even if you are just passing through the food comes out quickly and you will be dining in the cleanest, organized place in Texas! There’s plenty of choices for everyone. We’ve tried the Mexican combo plate, burger, steak fingers, burrito and a variety of salads and they were all fantastic. Everyone is friendly and the restaurant is VERY clean.

Food was hot and fresh. Steak fingers were tender. Fries & Steak fingers were just like homemade. Very clean and quick service. Highly recommend stopping.

This is one of the cleanest and best restaurants I have gone to eat. The workers there are super nice and the food is so delicious. A must try is the taco soup w grilled cheese. It is so good 😊

Steak fingers and home fries are good. Just a little expensive. Tried it for a second time and I ordered the chicken fajita salad and drink $18 for a small salad with no dressing. Idk if I’ll eat lunch here again.

We took our student broadcasting team to eat here before our game in Seminole. They worked with our team budget and it was really good food and atmosphere. Also the staff was very kind and helpful. Our students had burgers or chicken baskets and I ordered the homemade fries nachos loaded which was really really good.

We were in Seminole for a day! While we were here we decided to stop in at the Grub Shack. This restaurant has a good old fashioned field and features yummy comfort foods such as chicken fried steak, burgers, Mexican dishes and while you're there, don't forget the desert! They have deserts of all kinds that are homemade! Cheesecakes, chocolate cake, carrot cakes and pies. The staff and management has helped our students with multiple ordered meals and have been so helpful. This is the second time that we have ordered multiple meals with this group and they do a fantastic job every time! Fries are very good but you can also choose curly fries or fresh onion rings. Highly recommend that you stopped into this lovely owned and operated business.

Casual and comfortable, with many different kinds of food to choose from. We've only been there a couple of times, but definitely recommend it!

Had Mexican food and it was good. Got it to go tho and they don't give chips and salsa with the meal. Most places I go give chips, salsa and sopapilas too for that price. Good food tho and good sized portions.

Staff was friendly, and ordering was quick and easy with lots of options. I had the fajitas, which were warm at best, definitely not sizzling. The portion size seemed small and didn't come with sour cream. Overall, the meal was good but definitely could have been much better

We ordered a steak fajita quesadilla and a cheese enchilada, both were delicious. The steak fajita meat was tender and flavorful although there were no extras with it like sour cream etc. We also had the queso dip and the chips with it tasted fresh made. The dining room had a great western decor and the place was very clean. And the best part was the friendly service!

The food was decent. The atmosphere was nice. Their idea of a side salad is a pinch full of shredded lettuce with a few diced tomatoes. A bit pricey for the quality of food.

Got the Daily Special, Enchiladas. Green,2xcheese,1xbeef. Beef was good, but the cheese I didn't eat. They used the wrong kind of cheese, these the more you chew the Bigger the bite got. They need to use a good quality American Cheese and I wouldn't have had any complaint.

The prices at this restaurant are absolutely RIDICULOUS for being in the city of Seminole. $17 for chicken fried chicken. Wow. Owners have gotten more and more greedy as the years have gone on. Not only that but the portions of food have shrunk as well. It’s Hard to justify eating here when the food is average at best and prices are ridiculous.

Very expensive. Price point is more like $15-25. $16 for two small chicken tenders, a handful of fries and a piece of toast with a small drink seems extreme. All the items on the menu are pricey and the quality does not justify the cost. The fries and strips had a mild fish flavor. I’m guessing from the catfish they fried in the oil last Friday (it’s the Friday special) - today is Wednesday… yikes.

Seemed like a very clean place but food was pricey! Might be hard for average family to eat there. Was good and tasty though. Suggestion: Maybe offer some family specials. Burger baskets, etc. Change up weekly. Think it would pull in more customers.

Food quality has decreased; price has dramatically increased!! $50, for three cheeseburgers!!! (Edit: (2) Cheeseburger Baskets w/fries and drinks (1) Cheeseburger w/o fries and drink); get the same thing at Sonic, plus medium cheese sticks, for $36..

Looking forward to eating here from all the reviews. We ordered the green chili queso chicken with fries. No salt on the fries, peppers needed a smaller chop for plain cheese sauce. Not impressed. 3% charge for card payment.

Food is good but it's a little expensive for what you get. We paid $53 (which includes 15% tip) for 2 meals and 4 drinks. Normally we pay about that for 3-4 meals with drinks at other places. Our order was also screwed up: we ordered 3 meals but only got 2 because the cashier didn't hear or was confused about the 3rd order. So I thought we were paying that much for 3 meals- which would have been fine. But for 2 only? It's good food but not THAT good.

This is simply a sit down semi-fast food place with a large menu...burgers, chicken fingers, and m3xican food. I had the chicken fingers basket. I think $18 is pretty steep for that type and amount of food. It took a while to come out and they did bring it to the table. Food was ok, nothing great. Seminole has limited choices, so I am guessing this may be one of the few decent ones.

Food was good service but poor service. I asked for a couple of things and had to get up to get them. Didn't off to bring items to me..

Other than the look, it looks like it would be a decent place. I ordered a chef salad, it way over topped with ham and turkey. And the bacon was way over cooked and tasted old, like it had been sitting from the morning breakfast. No cucumbers. The onions where just cut in ring slices, and they had a bell pepper thick. And maybe like a 1/4th of lettuce head. Not enough at all. The chicken tender price is way over priced for two tenders. Over all the restaurant looks nice, and the food has potential. They just need to re-portion the meals.

Good food, but the day we drove from Hobbs to go eat there, lady taking our order was being stingy with queso cheese sauce. Told us we cold not order a side of it cause they were running low, if we are paying for it why would that matter. People who ordered after us ordered a side of cheese sauce, she did not even give them any issues, and they got their sauce but we did not. Hate to say it, but they were Caucasian and we are Hispanic, lady taking order was Caucasian also. A little white privilege going on I guess. Update 1/2/2026 - tried it again and did not deal with any racial issues but burger was very dry. Won’t be back for a while. Queso was good.

And now asking tips in the drive through with there little machines. if I eat inside and get good service I will tip, but going through the drive through and me being the one to insert my card and hold that machine is dumb. Tasteless, went thru drive thru Was told it would be 20 minutes and to wait in parking lot. The only thing that had a flavor was the pickles on the burger.

The manager is extremely rude to her waitresses and cooks. I heard her screaming at them for asking a question on an order. I’m close with one of the waitresses, and heard they don’t get breaks except to eat, but they’re rushed even for that. The employees there, are treated with utter disrespect, and don’t get paid what they’re worth. The food is decent, but the atmosphere is not.

I decided to stop and have lunch today at this establishment this was my first time here. I was the first customers in the door today, ordered and sat down at 11:03 the three women who were taking orders were very kind. Then notice other people getting their food before me, which is fine I can wait for good food. I didn’t get food until 11:40. Then the fries they are cold like they been sitting out for a long time. So I go to ask the women at the counter but this time it was a different woman with dark hair and a hat , shorter than the three kind women, who has a hard look on her face asked me that’s the matter? I told her that I was the first one who ordered and fries are cold And taste like old Fries. She roles her eyes and tells me that they aren’t old that she saw them herself, and that this isn’t a fast food restaurant and if I wanted more then it would take some time cause this isn’t fast food. I said ok and sat down. It seemed like she was a manager cause she was just leaning against the wall with her arms crossed with an unpleasant look on her face. I didn’t appreciate they was she spoke to me, she didn’t apologize for a long wait and then when the food came it was cold didn’t apologize got that either . If Grub Shack isn’t fast food as she stated then that makes this a restaurant and restaurants shouldn’t serve cold food and sour service to customers. When I left I didn’t say the food was great I left saying that woman ruined our whole experience and for the service we got the food was overpriced and lame. Would of been better off eating fast food.

First time I ever received scorched gravy, my food was heat lamp warm. I literally was 5 minutes away from picking up. Disappointed is an understatement. The sweet girl that answered the phone was kind and offered me a new plate. I declined and said I just wanted them to not sell anymore burnt gravy. Even Luke warm their chicken is still awesome. But if your cook is going to burn the gravy someone should be tast testing it from now on!

Waited over 30 min. For food. Asked at the counter to check on our food, received deer in headlights. 5 minutes later no update went to counter to get money back, that took over five minutes cause manager was not on site and they needed a password to be able to refund my money. Over 40 minutes, left with no food, no apology, no nothing. Worst place ever. -5 stars.

I’m sorry, but for the price of what you pay here, I would expect the food to at least be edible. I couldn’t even cut through the chicken fried chicken that I ordered. It was tough and rubbery. The toast and fries were the only thing salvageable out of this meal. This place used to be the best restaurant in town. What happened?
