Best Chinese buffet I've ever been to. If you go after 4pm they have Shrimp and Sushi. I love the honey walnut shrimp. The waiter is quick to pick up our plates and refill our water. Great service.

Was staying in Tehachapi for a weekend trip and came across this place. The prices are extremely reasonable and fairly priced. We got a little bit of everything in our take-out container. The food was very tasty.. not to mention the buffet prices are unbeatable. Workers were extremely kind as well. If you’re looking for some good Chinese food, this is the place to be!

Great stop for birthdays (be sure to call ahead) or just lunch with the kids! Buffet is well worth it! Plus we always love places that still have fortune cookies! 😆 All the classic American Chinese food favorites! Soch a great find! Or new favorite special lunch spot.

We love the great wall, always have. The new(ish) hot garlic chicken is delicious. My favorite off buffet item is the spicy eggplant and tofu. Great buffet and take out options. The service is always good and we've never had any issues.

Buffet was amazing to see the amount of choices even though we had already ordered off the menu we wish we would have chosen the buffet. Next time through Tehachapi we will try the buffet. Easy access on and off the freeway. Highly recommend.

Small buffet but the food was great. Perfect textures and flavors. Nothing was soggy or bland or weird tasting; there was no old, burnt oil taste or smell like at most buffets. This place is a gem. Came here Valentine's after 1st dinner option had an hour long wait and I'm glad we did. The hot food was surprisingly good; all crispy stuff was crisp, sauces had nice, subtle but clear flavors (no weird chemical flavors), meats were cooked but not overcooked. Sushi bar was cold, but fresh and tasted fine; the one complaint might be I got a hint of melon in it? But it was still enjoyable. The desserts were surprising; I expected strong, overly sweet fruity or tropical flavors from the orange colored cake slices and instead got this delicate, slight flavor, like orange whipped cream and the cake was a nice, soft, only subtly sweet angel food type. It was a nice change. I could've eaten the whole tray. Will definitely be back.

The Great Wall tastes just like a home-cooked meal after a long journey. The food is hearty, the owners generous and kind, and after a tiring road trip, the whole experience re-energized us for the rest of our drive. Loved the lo mein and sautéed mushrooms. Highly recommend!

Great tasting food and an awesome Buffet

So far this is the best spot ive encountered for chinese food in town. They give you very big portion sizes, especially when you order the noodles, and everything has always been very fresh and hot. They even normally throw in some extra appetizer items just as an extra gift

For the price, this place is amazing! All the food is hot, tastes pretty good, and the variety is excellent. It is a small buffet and not very busy, but they still don't leave the food sitting out and turn it over constantly.

I enjoyed the green beans, fried rice, beef broccoli and a couple of their chicken dishes. Price is very reasonable. Plenty of free parking. I do have to mention that they need a separate storage area and not just have everything showing in the dining area. It looked messy. My friends said the bathrooms were gross. Thank goodness I didnt go in there or I probably wouldn't have eaten the food. I probably wont go back just bc of the bathroom. They do get an A grade though from the food inspectors. (I looked) lol

The broccoli beef has zero flavor, the orange chicken is way over cooked and greasy, the beef is fatty—even the wonton soup which seems hard to mess up was not flavored well. Also the wontons were gummy—they should be light and firm. All the food seems old. I thought maybe they’d be better than Panda but honestly, I make better Chinese food. Lesson learned.
