We were spending the weekend in Temecula and just walked up without reading reviews or anything. It was Friday night and a great atmosphere! Food was delicious, service awesome! Highly recommended! Love the old school little gems!

Very chill spot with nice A/C to make this place good place. Everyone is really helpful and polite. The food is super delicious and matches the price on the menu. Serving size enough to take some home too. The steak was perfectly made. I recommend this place above everything else offered in Temecula.

Everything was really good from the food to the service. The biggest surprise was how delicious the fried zucchini was, as well as the size of each one and the amount you receive. Definitely worth purchasing. The catfish sandwich and fries were excellent as well.

Good food with big portions and great service! We stopped on a trip to Old Town Temecula, and were pleased with the experience. I had the Beef Ribs, which were large and flavorful (though a little heavy on the sauce), and my partner had the Country Fried Steak, which was tender and tasty. She loved the elote corn side! We also shared a serving of Brisket Tater Skins, which were excellent - next time we come by the area, I'll definitely consider the brisket. Prices were about as expected for the area. Our server was upbeat and attentive, and the experience overall was excellent.

Great little place that wasn't too busy. We were waiting outside Mad Madeline's for 15 min and the line wasn't moving so we decided to try this, next door, and got right in. Glad we did. Great service, great food! I had the rib tips, they were excellent! My wife said their shoestring fries are the best, and I have to agree, they were very good! Plus $5 margaritas. Was not disappointed. Will definitely be back.

Stumbled across this place when the original place we were heading to was closed. Anthony was our server. Very attentive! Kind. Sat outdoors ... thanks Covid! ...but actually it was super comfortable. If you are looking for upscale, pass by. If you’re looking for good Texas style food (large portions and tasty), warm and welcoming atmosphere, then Texas Lils won’t let you down. It’s set back from Front Street, so they need a few signs to draw attention. Maybe the sign “Voted Best Margaritas” should do the trick. About those margaritas, good. Hit the spot. Not high-end tequila but they’re $5! Catfish and hush puppies was solid selection. A little on the corn bready side but very tasty and moist. Ribs were top notch. Ribs were not as smothered with barbecue sauce, so we ordered extra on side. Meat perfectly grilled and fell off the bone. Yummy!! Coleslaw was creamy and a bit sweet but some of the best I’ve had. Potato salad was mayo based with an egg and light vinegar taste, yet smooth flavor. French fries were lightly seasoned and perfectly fried. Who thought fries would be included in a review!?! The appetizer jumbo shrimp cocktail hit it out of the park! It had a soupy thin-based cocktail sauce with chopped cucumbers, onion, and avocados. A little more liquidity than I prefer but a splendid blend of flavors. Portion sizes were acceptable. Not overly large but definitely not skimpy. I would highly recommend anyone to stop by and give this place a try unless you were looking for white cloth napkins and overpriced cuisine. Well be back for sure!

There are a lot of BBQ places in Temecula and Texas Lil's ranks up pretty high. I haven't had a bad meal there yet. Staff is always polite and it's always clean. Good sized bar area and plenty of seating.

I'm not sure what happened that night. But the food seemed to take longer than expected. They missed one of our plates and our guests had to wait. They didn't offer a discount or anything for their mistake. The food was good but nothing to brag about. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Voices echoed inside making it difficult to hear. Enjoyable for people who don't mind the loudness, such as myself. Will be back for another experience.

OMG, the drinks were good. We only had the appetizers, being happy hour, we decided a few drinks and snacks. The pickles fries were great, the chili fries were not bad. The drinks were great. Now is the part we feel taken advantage of. Prices for shots were a bit much. We paid a bill of $226. With 2 rounds of shots for 4 of us and 3 regular drinks, 3 $5 margaritas and last 3 appetizers, two of these were happy hour appetizers. **Our own fault, the prices are not on the drink menu.** we won’t make that mistake again. **The $5 margaritas were totally worth their weight. **
