My food was fresh!! First time eating there in a few months. Parking lot is by far one of the worse.

We got there right about 25 minutes before closing time & the worker didn’t want to work anymore & told us they closed 30 min before every night to clean & take out garbage! Ha! We spoke with the GM there & she was just awesome! She was embarrassed & shocked at her employees behavior & didn’t hesitate to make it right. She went above & beyond and showed exactly how a manager should be!

I ordered chicken. It was great tasting! It didn't have that grease taste to it. It actually had a buttery taste. I'm very impressed. It's been a long time since I've eaten really great Long John Silvers.

We love JLS! Unfortunately, there is not one in Hot Springs, AR. Plus, the one in Russellville, AR closed.😪 We were very excited to eat here and they did not let us down. The manager was so friendly.

I've been going to this Long John Silver's since 1980. It has changed over the years but I still love their food. They are always nice and I always ring the bell.

I was visiting Texarkana from out of state. I placed an order online that was supposed to be delivered to my hotel. I goofed up and did it for pickup instead, and had no way to go pick up my food. I called to cancel the order and they took my name down and said to come in the next day since it was already paid for. When I made it there the next day, they went ahead and gave me the order. They were very nice about it! Great service and the food was good as always!

I really enjoyed my meal at Long John Silvers.Me and a friend from Marshall come to eat I had the fish chicken and shrimp it was so fresh and hot .The shrimp were large I told my friend all this while we were eating.The only thing off was the drinks were not syrupy enough and not sweet We drink Dr Pepper.So please fix that and you will recieve 5 stars.Thanks Long John Silvers the service was great and we loved the cashiers voice.

Great people!! Great food!! The booths are to close to the table top and the bathrooms were not great. The men's was out of order.

Would've been five stars if the lady in drive thru bothered to say hello or goodbye...nope..just took my money..handed me the food and closed the window..had to wait for her to come bk to the window just to ask for sauce... You're never too busy to deliver great customer service..just rude. Food is the same..at least that's a plus.

Updating my review. (11-5-2025) My wife and I have difficulty ordering through the app, but eventually took care of. We both ordered the fish and shrimp platters and drinks. The 2 working last night were pretty kind. Informed us they were out of Root Beer, so we switched to Dr Pepper. Our food was cooked to order, so it was hot and tasty. We usually eat in the car. We both ate about 3/4 of each platter. We combined what was left and gave it to a very appreciative homeless person. The outside of the building, and inside, could use some upgrades if possible. But overall, this was a better experience than 4 years, when a man came in demanding to speak to "his" woman, and demanding she come out front. He should have been arrested.

I can sit here and boast about the food. I have always enjoyed the food here. That being said. The owners need to re fit the restaurant exterior. It needs it. The food is good but not the building. I'm not going to itemize the needs that need to be upgraded. It just need to be refurbished. Match the building with it's product.

All the Long John Silvers have closed in NW Arkansas so it was kind of a test to get to go to this one here in Texarkana. It appears that they still don’t have indoor seating but the drive through was fairly quick. I got the #12 platter two fish and three chicken strips. The meal was hot and fresh. The young girl that took my order was nice and easy to deal with she made sure I had plenty of ketchup and tarter sauce. I know LJS is probably struggling hard even with out Covid so if I come back to Texarkana I’ll buy another meal.

Personally, I got the 2 pieces combo with the fries and hash puppies it was okey and it didn’t meet my expectations maybe my expectations were high. Fries were not good at all. Need improvement in fries.

I think all Long John Silvers desperately need up grades. This is one of the better ones. The staff was great and food was great. Cleanliness is been an issue in everyone of them. I think it's the resources the staff has to deal with that is a factor. But, would come back again when we are in town.

The workers were hurried and didn't listen for them to be as slow as they were 3 out of our 4 orders were wrong.... Slow down and listen to the customers ladies. Way to go on being friendly though. Y'all were very sweet

I love all Longview John Silvers foods. Service is always decent. They need to remove and upgrade all the stores. Everyone I talk with would go far more often if they would upgrade.

Eh. So so now. Didn't seem to bother them we were there trying to order when others pulled up outside, they took precedence and only one worker. Also, no more all-you-can-eat fish on Sunday though the sign advertised it to be in effect still. We left but I don't think they missed us because they left us standing at the register alone for a while.

When my friend and I stopped by a few days a go her and I ordered two meals and then two extra pieces of fish at the drive threw. They gave us two boxes so we just assumed they were both meals and that the extra fish was inside. (Not checking that before we left is on us.) And when we got home we were shocked to realize only one box had a meal in it and the other box only had two pieces of fish. We thought it could have been a possible mix up so we checked the receipt, they charged us the whole 30$ for two meals and two extra pieces of fish. One of those meals we didn't get.

The atmosphere and appearance of this store were horrible. The quality of food was in the negative. This place has gone downhill in the past couple of years. Please fix it. It's my go-to place for fish and shrimp.

Staffing was not overly pleasant nor business like. Restaurant was untidy and women's restroom shot water all over the place out of the handle when I attempted to flush the toilet and would not flush. Advised an employee who barely acknowledged me and did nothing about the situation. The other 3 people eating with me received their meals over 10 minutes before I received my food. I ordered the grilled salmon and grilled shrimp taco combo with coleslaw. The food was definitely worth the wait and the lack of inviting atmosphere though. They were fresh, hot, and extremely flavorful. Honestly some of the absolute best seafood tacos I've had from anywhere in a very very long time. Their coleslaw was also very tasty, not bland at all, and fresh.

I don't eat here but my family does. This location is the only one in our area. They seem to always have an attitude in the drive thru. There was a younger girl on this visit, she was more pleasant than the order taker. Unless her tone changed once we pulled forward. IDK. Lol

Drive thru is very slow and they do not check to make sure all order is there for customer. We called and they did offer to make good on what we ordered. We should not have to check our order.

Long John Silver's USED to be my favorite fast food restaurant in Texarkana but, when my husband & I ate there yesterday (well after the lunch rush) the restaurant was Filthy, there was still food All over the floor, the manager was rude & extremely unhelpful, the restroom had no toilet paper or paper towels & the overhead light was going out. I asked the manager for tissue (after she finished her conversation with another worker) she very snidely said "No, we don't have any!" & walled away laughing at something. Another one of the workers brought some tissue out & asked her if she knew how to install it on the roller & she said No, you do it. He came back out & apologized & told me there was some in there now & told her the light was going out, she said "oh, I know" & walked away. I asked for the restaurant # when I got a to go box & she VERY reluctantly gave it, not to me but, to the cashier. Needless to say, I definitely won't be going back there any time soon!

I shuddder to think how dirty the kitchen is; if the dining room hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Maybe surface cleaning but the floor is filthy. There was unswept trash in the floor under the tables. Someone left the broom propped up against a table, where elderly couple could stumble over it. WHY, when you are a manager; don’t you manage?

Customer service was awful! Cashier did not explain everything that comes with the * All you can eat*, walked off with our money and took forever to give us our change, never greeted us, and just seem like she didnt want to be at work. The manager on duty wasnt nice either, never smiled or seemed professional..wouldn't let us substitute the slaw for corn. At one point, the cashier was cleaning the lobby and dropped napkins from a tray on guest at a booth:!The lobby's floor was very slick also. Get it together long John silver! Wont be ringing bell! Probaly wait a while to go back!!

My grandson had a coupon on his cellphone but when he went in to place his order, he was told he had to print it out or it wasn't valid. We left and he printed the coupon out at home. It clearly states he can print it or just show them the coupon on his e-mail. He will have waited about 2 hours before we can go back and get his lunch.

Employees very snoobby and Disrespectful. Food not very good today. Shrimp was undercooked. . Hush puppies bland.. Fish ok. Out of ketsup. Had to throw most of out food away. We've been there many many. We wiill not be back. Droved from North side of Ashdown. Like we have done before. This time Very Very disappointed and dissatisfied. We will Never Return

Food was ok di not trust the sauces left on counter and the ketchup had a funny taste. So we didn't use any fish was ok and the shrimp was ok. Floor was super dirty looks like it was never mop and the railing around the service line was so dirty that you would not even touch it. White railing which was black. Tables might not have even have sanitizer used on them. Again food was ok and probably would have enjoyed it more if it was a clean establishment. Owner should check it out for themselves. Management should have already picked up on not being cleaned

Generally love a good Long John Silver’s… unfortunately, although the service was good and friendly, the food had obviously been sitting for a bit. I’m sure they had prepped for a dinner rush but everything was cold and rubbery. (5:15 on a Friday evening). Not likely to go again.

It was pretty bad. It has been a long time since I've been to a LJS. The lady that took our order was competent and friendly. The restaurant was dirty with lots of food on the floor. The floor was so greasy too! The food was just not as good as I remembered. The meals also used to come with cole slaw and french fries which they don't anymore unless you pay extra.

This is what my meal consisted of. The "side" which is actually just a condiment container that wasnt even filled up all the way. When I politely asked the girl if this was the portion size that came with all the meals she was very rude and gave me an attitude. I'm not sure what all the random brown stuff is in my box. The fish was actually pretty good. But the customer service, portion sizes and over all appearance of food is severely lacking. They also upsized my drink and charged me extra without asking.

The staff was really nice, but my fish was coated in a lot of grease. The coleslaw was good. We had to wipe our table off. Never had these issues with Long John Silver's before.

Fish was over cooked, no tartar sauce, cashier said drinks weren't good. Customer was poor and to top it off my hush puppies were deformed! Parking lot has too many pot holes thought I was going to lose a tire

Had 3 orders all 3 of them were wrong I was missing a 3 Piece jumbo shrimp and my homie didn’t get any crumbles or hush puppies

To start with let me say that I am a truck driver and I eat LJS nationally. The last five times I've visited this location, they have made some excuse about out why u can't have the ONLY thing I eat and love there, salmon. So many different excuses I've just decided not to TRY to have this meal again. It's REALLY GOOD, but unfortunately largely unavailable. I've had to seek it out at other restaurants. Texarkana Arkansas get it together. This is not a new item.

The place was not wiped down at all. Seats were sticky, the tables weren't cleaned off, floors were not swept literally a dead roach was on the floor, but the food was okay.

Cashier was excellent..bathroom NOT so much..had to go somewhere else..and food was Not good at all especially the sides..Spent $67.00 and none of it was worth it. I actually feel sick right now that's why i wrote this review..couldn't take it back cause I don't live there so I trashed it all.

If you have a banner on the side of your building that states you have "All You Can Eat" on Sundays for $8.99, how can you tell customers that special is over??? Take down the banner!! No ice in the drink machine. Tried to charge extra for a side included with the meal. Terribly managed.

Service was terrible. Place had grease food and water all over the floor. Had to hold on to the wall to keep from falling in that water. Another customer helped me to get our food to our table. They didnt get our order right.

Chicken & fish way to Salty fried clam over cooked could not finish none of it...waffle fries was mostly crumb leftovers very disappointed.

If I could give this a zero star I would. The food was ok but we had the worst service. We went and asked for our other food that they forgot to give us that we had paid for and they started announcing it all for everyone to hear that we asked for the rest of our food. It was unsanitary water on the floor by the soda machine, bathroom was not clean. We will never go back we did not feel comfortable.

The fish was so overcooked and scarcely any fish inside the hard as rock coating. The coating was not the tempura coating. Three people tried to eat it, but it was tastless. Needless to say, we will not try this place again. This is not the first bad tasting food experience. Will definitely NOT recommend. 🚫

I went to this location and cannot believe this store is at 4 stars. The fish was served on a hot dog bun and definitely not fresh. They gave me a total of 8 fries with my meal. Very dissatisfied and will not be returning.

They say they are open at 10 am and they don't open until 11 am. When I order they ask me to wait a few minutes before ordering. I ordered and it took forever 25 minutes in the drive thru to get my food. They young lady at the window was real nice and she said they were having trouble with the safe and their computer system. When I got my food the chicken was good and fries, but I order their hush puppies, I order a dozen extra and they didn't even have them round one that are so good. They fried up big balls of Battier and it was so greasy and not good at all. I love the crunches but not in like that. It was nasty. Sorry but I was very unhappy about my visit...

Tried to go in to sit and eat at 7:20pm and the doors were locked with no sign saying why because they don't close doors until 10 pm that is what the door says. so we had to go to drive thru and my food was over cooked and one little piece of chicken not even half of a breast and over priced.

Appears fryer oil hasn’t been changed in weeks, so sad that they are serving last weeks food as fresh today

The manager on duty was awful....Sooo Hateful and rude!!! I didn't even order, I turned around and left. If that's acceptable to you guys as a company I'm surprised you're not going out of business. Never have I seen a manager act that way!

Paid for the order and got home to find out they left part of the order out. I called the store and they asked my name and I asked if it was ok to come back up there and pick it up. When I got there they refused to give me the 6 shrimp they left out. Rude and slow service. I am sure I am not the only one they have done this too. Stay clear of this business!!

We got to the restaurant before 11:00 AM and were served cold, greasy fish and cold french fries. The floors and tables were filthy; nasty is the best word. We bought the fish and shrimp platter and two drinks and paid $30.27. The fried shrimp was excellent, though! Be careful in the parking lot, too; if you ever hit one of the potholes, you will be missing for days.

As others have said in reviews I have read elsewhere: If I could have given zero stars, I would have done so. Truth be told, if I could have given minus stars, I would rate this place as minus 5. I ordered a two piece fish and six piece shrimp platter with fries and slaw. When I opened the box I found the fish, shrimp and fries sitting atop what appeared to be very greasy/oily fried crumbles of bread batter. The battered fish fillets were covered in thick batter that seemed to be oozing oil as were the breaded shrimp. The fries were very oily as well. The crumbles of greasy batter that covered the bottom of the box looked like a waste product. There were also two hush puppies (I think that is what they are called) and amazingly they were the least oily. The flavor of the oil laden batter on the fish and shrimp was disgusting in my estimation and I peeled off as much of it as I could and ate the then batterless shrimp and fish. The slaw was okay, - maybe because it was the only item not fried in what tasted disgusting to me. I guess I understand why they included 3 packets of tartar sause, 6 of ketchup and 2 containers of cocktail sauce - to hide the flavor of that oil I think. I doubt I will ever again eat at a Long John Silver's. I should have learned my lesson the first and as I recall the only other time I ate at one. That was also disappointing but at least was not one of the worst meals, if not actually the worst meal, I have eaten in decades like was this one tonight.
