I missed checkers so much from when I lived in Florida. The banana milkshakes and chili cheese fries bring me back. Great food at lower prices than most fast food restaurant's. I have always had great service and no mistakes at this specific checkers either. A++

I absolutely LOVE Checkers!! I had no idea there was one this close to me. I usually eat there when in Orlando, Florida. They have the best burgers, fries and shakes. I've always hesitated to try their wings but I hear they are pretty good also. I think the red onion on the burger makes them stand out from the average burger joint.

This is pretty much the same Checkers as all of the other Checkers chains. Food preparation and quantities of ingredients use are standard throughout the chain so what you get at One Restaurant you'll be exactly what you get at the next restaurant. I find it the people behind the counter or very friendly and remember most of their customers when they come in. I've had some great conversations with some of the employees here and always go back for the outstanding service and quality of their food.

Checkers is by far the best fast food in the area. My family and I have never been disappointed when we go here for a meal. It's always fast, cheap, and delicious.

Super cheap and honnestly pretty good compared to other more expensive fast food options. A decent burger, frie, drink and dessert for 4$ ??? And you can make it a large for like a follar more? I usually like this place for their consistency in decent food. I do have a problem with their online ordering app. There were several times that, at pickup, they had asked me if I had done this before. Downloaded the app to try Checkers for the first time. They had a BOGO on burgers so I got the Baconzilla and T-Pain Bacon Buford. Both were delicious, tons of bacon and perfectly done. Burgers are massive and even at full price are completely reasonable. The Fries are delicious, Chicken Bites were solid and Mozzarella Sticks were actually melty and had a good pull. Definitely can’t wait to go again.

Got a cheeseburger and small fry, chicken nuggets and medium drink for $5. Cant beat that! If your a big eater get 2 and still cost only$10. Not a bad deal at all. Service was ultra fast and very friendly. Great place!

This by far is the best fast food restaurant ever! ALWAYS super outgoing! This is an example what what fast food should strive for and used to be! Edit: I forgot about the bathrooms. I tow for AAA all day and like to wash my hands before I eat. They are always spotless and I go out of my way to go there. Sometimes I am hungry in the morning and they at 10:01 act like they are happy to see you! I can't say enough about this place. MCDONALD'S on Sweethome would be the 100% opposite of this establishment.

Amazing place with stomach filling portions and reasonable rates. Sure, it may not be as fancy as Five Guys but it is definitely worth your time and money. Would visit many more times. Customer service is also great.

The chicken fry and loaded fries are my go to here. Service is great. Food came out hot and fresh. Love visiting here when I’m in Buffalo. I ordered drive-thru so I can’t say much about the dining atmosphere. The individual serving us through the drive-thru was kind and attentive. It was somewhat lengthy, but basically stating that this is the BEST Checker's restaurant that I have EVER been to (& I've been to quite a few from GA to FLA & a few other states. The staff is ALWAYS very pleasant & kind & the food is always presented very well & always tastes good. I really love to visit there. I come here weekly during the summer at night on my drive home from the race track, or occasionally for lunch in between classes during the school year. All of the staff are always very friendly, and the food is much better than any other Checkers location I’ve visited. I can’t even remember the last time I’ve had a problem with my order. Definitely can’t beat the prices either. Whoever owns this place should be proud!

Best Checkers in NY by far, staff are super fast, very friendly and outgoing, keep the place clean, they actually swept up after serving 15 customers. Haven't seen hustle like that in a while. By the time we left they served 40+ and still kept a clean store today. The staff today at 1pm are exceptional and if you have a chance stop by and enjoy good food, friendly staff in a CLEAN PLACE. Thanks to the crew for a great lunch.

A perfect place for lunch & dinner for any cross-border shopping trip (for fellow 🇨🇦s)! Located near Target, Trader Joes, TJMaxx and Ulta, it offers an extensive menu that is also very affordable. We got the $5 meal deal which was such great value in addition to being so tasty. It included a checkerburger, chicken bites (similar to KFC’s popcorn chicken), fries and a drink. They were all delicious and we really enjoyed the superb customer service as well.

Holy cow, I didn't know that checkers existed coming from Canada but when we were driving down the road and saw the beautiful checkered building we just knew we had to give it a try. Amazing space with lots of parking and great staff. Even better prices and food. The washroom is very clean and I storngly reccomend coming here and ordering off of their value meals! This is one of the Checkers My husband and I enjoy. They are soooo much more polite than the on on Elmwood. The food does not take a million years to receive and the fries are always fresh. It was my 1st time eating anything from here and it was at 2:30am, so only 30 minutes before they were due to close and I ordered a chicken tender basket w/ seasoned fries and a strawberry sundae 🍨 for myself, for my husband I ordered a dbl cheese burger 🍔, 2 Chilli cheese hot 🌭 dogs 🐕 and lg fries and a strawberry sundae 🍨 as well. Went late, about midnight. There were two young men working and it seemed to be pretty hectic. Food is good. I'm changing the point that it's not my "kids" favorite, I love the chicken and fries, but kids live slushies!

Ok now we are on a good one. Fast affordable American food in a burger joint atmosphere. We like this burger joint because it is a nice normal unpretentious good ole burger and fries. Clean and comfortable but you get what you pay for. Kid friendly with good tunes while you eat. No fuss.

This place has one of the absolute best spicy chicken sammiches, it's juicy, spicy, and great with a slice of cheese. The chicken boxes are a good choice as you get some of them famous fries. The burgers are good n salty with a good assortment of toppings. Another great thing is they are one of the few places still open late when you got them late night munchies.

Don't eat fries, but I could smell them from parking lot and not greasy, salty or soggy. Very please. Burger had bun to bun tomato, meat was not desirable, dry and no flavor. I removed it from my bun. Wish I had local spot on my side of town. Glad 2 of my doctors and financial advisor is on that side of town.I know I will be around every few months and will give them another shot.

It was good and nice to get out and go some where different. I liked that you can watch your food being prepared, staff was courteous and attending. The dinning area I was not feeling though there was a bucket and rag sat out in the dinning room for customers to clean i was like SERIOUSLYY it was very unprofessional very I was mind blown from it they was getting high marks from me until that happen and the floor needs to be attended to a little more. The employees were kind but sanitation means more to me and I don't get paid to clean your tables.

Update: Their current pretzel burger combo is the bomb. One of the better burgers we’ve had! Previously: Cheap eats that actually taste pretty good. The current $5 meal deal was great for the price. Their fries have that crispy coating on them…normally I have only have a few fries but these were good enough to enjoy them all. The chicken bites were tiny but tasty. Burger was typical fast food fare. Drinks were refillable. Interesting desserts offered including cheesecake sundaes, funnel cake fries and Nerd slushies. Definitely a place to consider if looking for a cheap fast burger deal.

First time trying checkers. Food is a little pricey but tastes amazing. The burgers are good but wow the chicken sandwich is mind blowing. So many flavors and spice and just the right amount of crunch. The Loaded fries tastes great I would recommend the garlic fries. I will have to come back and try more.

The food is always good. Always seems that fries are fresh out of the fryer whenever we order. But their service is HORRIBLE. The drive thru worker couldn't wait for me to stop speaking before asking "Anything else?" after every item I ordered. Almost as if he had somewhere he needed to rush off to after he finished helping me place my order. Customers will usually say something along the lines of "...and that's all" when they're finished ordering. Use social cues to help deliver a better customer experience.

It's a decent fast food chain. It has really cheap meals for when you just want to eat quickly. It's not the cleanest restaurant but what do you expect from a fast food restaurant. Overall my favorite thing on the menu is the fry burger mostly because of the good fry's.

Gut buster. I've eaten here twice and both times left me looking for toilet paper. The food is good, BUT it comes with a greasy price. This place is good if you're on a budget and you have to feed a few kids. It's also convienent for those who need a quick bite. However, it may bite back! Tread carefully on the menu. Finally a Checkers! I wasn't much of a fan at first, but their food is really good! Love the fries and 2 for $5 burgers. For a new franchise to the area, not a lot to recommend this location. Place already has a run down and dingy feel even though it is fairly new. If you know Checkers, you're not in for any surprises - if you don't, expect burgers, fries and chicken to be your main offerings. As with any chain, toppings and sauces are the biggest differences. Checkers fries, seasoned and crispy, are really pretty good. The burgers... I'll pass, thanks. Decent rolls, though... That has to be said. Truth is, I'd rather have Wendy's if I'm getting a fast food burger at all. Sorry, Checkers.

The burgers are the equivalent to 70% grease 30% mystery meat. However, the fries are actually pretty good, compared to the overall quality of the majority of the rest of the menu. This establishment would be a great chain to have at a Walmart.

Going from a 4 star to a 2 star. I'm there once or twice a week and been noticing that this place has gotten really inconsistent lately. I can either go and get great food or go and get a very bad experience. My order's been messed up maybe 75 % of the time I've ordered there since October. Guy at the window was rude and non responsive..had to ask two times for a receipt and got attitude about it..sign says hot dogs 1.50 reciept charges 1.59 ..sign says meal deal 3.50 they charge full price minus a set amount and the meal came up to 2.90? Your paying tax on the full amount! The sign should say on this day the rude cashier will deduct what he feels like! Guess thats why they wont give you the price when u order but only at the window! Absolute worst service ever. The manager was a short, young, white guy with brown hair (I forgot his name) but I asked for my fries to be made fresh. I ordered the huge one and he literally said they were fresh when they weren't and he knew it!!!! They came straight from that nappy a** heat lamp and were barely warm😷😷😷😷 His attitude was So Nasty I just asked for my money back!!! I haven't and will not be back!!!! Avoid this place!!! I have never went to checkers. My first time in Tonawanda New York. Place was about 50 degrees it was cold dingy and had a chemical smell to it. That's not my huge complaint. The chicken sandwiche that I ordered was raw. 100% completely raw. I will never go there again or recommend this place to anyone.

My family and I, 4 in total, came to Checkers on Sunday at around 6 PM. Not very busy. A miserable man with a beard and glasses got impatient with us because we were not ready to order as soon as we walked in. We had never been to a Checker's before and were not familiar with the menu. It took 3 or 4 minutes before we were ready to order. I ordered the food by the menu numbers, all combos and this guy was almost rude, never smiled, and acted like I was a moron. I paid and was handed the drink cups. He told me someone would bring the order to the table. We sat near the counter and he acted the same to all the customers. I watched him put food on the trays and touch the fries with his bare hands to see if they were warm. Our food came to the table lukewarm at best. I also observed another employee making up the orders for the drive thru window and this guy was eating fries out of the to-go bags before he delivered them to the window. Never Again! Only 1 employee had gloves on - so unsanitary!

First and last visit. Came in on a mon nite around 730pm, not particularly busy but they had a steady stream of ppl. It's a clown show behind the counter. 4-5 dudes goofing around where your food is the last of their priorities and it showed. If you're going to make burgers, make them correctly. They botched up our order, gave our food to the wrong customer, created a scene at the counter, cause these clowns can't pay attention. they want to bro around in the back. Dont waste your time, its managed by some circus minded operation IMO. What a waste of my money. Food was standard to boot so I'm not inclined to return. I ordered a mix n match double (2) double checker burgers and a large coke, they handed my sandwiches and i only received single patty burgers, i go back and ask for the correct burgers…they took my original burgers which are now cold and threw the other one on top of it instead of just making 2 brand new burgers…disgusting from the employees! Found a bug in the middle of my chicken bites box, ive ordered from here before with no problems, maybe the current cleaning staff isnt doing a proper job at night.

So I'm sitting in the drive thru sitting there for close to 10 mins, saw a car ahead of me order. So went inside, three kids working all seemed frazzled. While I'm waiting for service I see a car pull up to the window (figures) they get taken care of before me. Them I place order, I I got the Baconzilla which used to be. huge sandwich but looked half it's size. Also got Motz sticks and to no surprise they forgot the marinara sauce. DO BETTER!

I thought checkers was checkers but man I was wrong. Checkers in Florida a large shake comes in a large cup here in NY for almost $6 you get a medium cup. Actually really mad about that because it's over priced and the only reason I ordered checkers. The battered dip onions are expensive for the size and they also mix French fries in so you get less. For the price and value I won't be going back i will wait until I get back to Florida and get the proper size for my money. Now that I got it back to the motel and I'm eating it let me edit the review. My medium/large shake was strawberry on top and chocolate on the bottom when I ordered strawberry and the burgers would have been fine if they didn't put a pound of mayo on each sandwich. Guess they weren't dry but they were messy. Definitely won't be back. I will try another location to see if it's a NY thing or if I actually got ripped off luke I think I did honestly because even the rally's in Ohio gave me a large shake for a large price so I don't think the state matters it should be all the same size. The fries have more salt than McDonald's and i didn't even know that was possible. The only good thing about this place was it was indoors
