Recensioni di Capriccio Torino
I'll start by saying I only had dessert; I was in a hurry. Despite the fact that I only had 15 minutes, they still served me. The staff was young, competent, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The dessert was excellent, and the price was perfectly in line with the service. I'll be back for a full meal.
A very promising haute cuisine restaurant. The seafood menu features original flavors and is meticulously crafted, with a focus on the visual appearance and balanced flavors of the ingredients. The dining room is well-appointed, perhaps just a little too bright. Excellent service.
Art is a personal concept, where mind and body united in a single thought, create the uniqueness of perfection. Precisely in this place, I found that perfection, that magic, where the emotion of tastes marries perfectly with the poetry of the senses. The restaurant is well looked after down to the smallest detail, the welcome and management of the room by the staff was impeccable. The explanation of the courses followed by kindness and smiles made the evening unforgettable. The dishes were, one after the other, characterized by the perfect combination that unites the quality of the products, meticulousness in the plating and the most important thing, the passion and creativity of the chef, with whom, at the end of the evening, I had the pleasure of complimenting in person, noting the beauty and emotion of those who truly love their work. I recommend it 100%, a unique experience that I will not fail to relive. #strawhat
If you want to close your eyes and feel an explosion of flavors in your mouth, this is the place: every dish made me dream. If you like fish, come in and trust me, the experience is truly worth it. You'll find passion for cooking, friendliness, and excellent food awaiting you :) Very important information: the restaurant changed management in September 2024, so if you were there before then...you have to come back! I've been following this chef for so many years that I can't believe I can leave a review for a restaurant that's finally his alone! I'm proud that so much passion and commitment have been rewarded. And if you speak French and pass through Turin, come back here and trust the chef, I recommend you close your eyes!!!
We went to dinner at this restaurant and had a great time! The staff was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about every aspect of the restaurant and its dishes. The food was truly EXCELLENT; we were pleasantly surprised! We will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.
This place takes great care in the service and presentation of the dishes. We felt welcomed and we ate really well. We really liked the description of the dishes even though we had already read the ingredients on the menu. We really liked the welcome entrée, the olive bread and the homemade focaccia, as well as the waitress who poured water into our glass as soon as it was empty. The place is well decorated and the abstract paintings that color the environment are much appreciated. I give it the maximum number of stars because this place deserves them.
Chanced upon this restaurant for lunch, and I'm very glad for it! The dining area is offset from the entrance (which needs to be opened from the inside) but once you're in, the high level of the restaurant is rapidly evident. There is a relatively high wait staff-client ratio, and the staff are knowledgeable about their food and are helpful (my partner is intolerant to lactose and gluten). We left the wine choice to the sommelier and were not disappointed. The menu offerings (antipasti, primi and secondi) fit into one page, with the emphasis mainly on seafood. The quality of all the plates (we took an antipasto and primo each) was excellent, and served calmly, quietly and efficiently as is the serving style in general. The silver cutlery was an impressive touch, as were the Riedel glasses. We opted to not take dessert but other diners' looked mouthwatering. The total for 2 was 140€ to which we added a tip. I think that in days not too far gone, I would have balked at this cost, but compared to the prevailing standards of the past couple of years it now seems an appropriate charge for what we enjoyed.
A very well-kept, intimate, and modern location. The staff is impeccable and very professional. The dishes are very good, carefully prepared, with balanced flavors and perfect portions to leave you feeling full. Fresh fish, excellent! Homemade bread and pasta, exceptional! The prices are a little high, but that doesn't detract from the delicious dinner. I'll be back :)

Nice and great pizza, soft and thin dow, fresh ingredients and nice service.
Excellent service, impeccable and professional waiter; typical downtown restaurant atmosphere; the daily menu didn't offer much choice, the food was well presented, and portions were rather small, especially considering the ambitious dishes and gourmet prices. The cover charge and water were also high at €10.
Experience with the Fork promotion. Despite the discount, it was slightly above average. The cover charge was very high, and the wine by the glass was good, but again, too high at €12.00 and the quantity was small. The dishes offered were innovative and well-presented, including mussels, borlotti beans, and puffed pasta, as well as a good cream of cauliflower with baby squid. Improving a few details could avoid misunderstandings and improve customer satisfaction.
A place that aspires to sell itself as a Michelin-starred restaurant, but it's still far from it: this is evident from the dishes and the prices of the individual dishes. The cuisine, though meticulous, still has some flaws that make the dishes incomplete. Let me give you some examples of the dishes I ordered to illustrate the point: - The catch of the day, a fillet of plaice with fennel, mashed potatoes, and cherry tomatoes, is a dish that lacks a citrus note, which could be achieved by adding an orange reduction to the base to give the dish more character. - The spaghetti is not presentable as it is served if you want to sell it at that price. - The maltagliati is a good fresh pasta, but I struggled to find any fish on the plate. The only dish that surprised me was the yellowfin tuna fillet with cavolo nero. The desserts are also good, but always keep an eye on the price. I've had single portions from Michelin-starred pastry chefs for the same price. I'll add a few final thoughts: - the service was impeccable - be careful to list all the prices on the menu: water was €5, the cover charge was €5, and desserts were not listed anywhere, nor was the price of a glass of wine.
The place was packed. Parking was impossible in the area (we recommend arriving at least half an hour early). The plating was spectacular, with truly striking colors and equally unique aromas. We liked the service at first (friendly and courteous), but then no explanation was given to any of the dishes; I repeatedly asked what I was eating. The flavor was neutral, except for the welcome drink. The risotto was too salty, and everything else was too bland. Based on what we ate, it wasn't worth the €110 for two appetizers and two first courses.
Returned after Chef Mandura began his consultancy at this restaurant. A terrifying experience, to say the least. The menu (including the layout) and wine list were completely different from those on the website, and the quality was truly very poor at an embarrassing price. A shame, it was one of the best seafood restaurants in town!
I don't recommend this place because it's a complete scam. I booked with a 50% discount on TheFork and received a different menu with significantly double the prices and less choice. I'm attaching photos because the total amount paid is absurd (€96) for what we ate, given that we're talking about a 50% discount and it's not a Michelin-starred restaurant!!!!!! It's a real shame because the food, despite the very small portions, was good and the service attentive, but I felt cheated, and I can't tolerate that. As you can see on the receipt, the price of the dessert (bonet) is €7, which means it would have cost €14 at full price, but does that seem normal to you? The fried calamari and shrimp with ONLY ONE SHRIMP, do you think it's fair for the price I paid? I could go on complaining, but I'll stop here in the hope of saving you from this scam!
