I've been to many Einstein Bros. Bagels and Noah's Bagels... This one is Very Clean, comfortable dining room, courteous service and the last visit, I didn't realize they have a drive thru. And.... the bagels are always the BEST in Einstein's!
The folks at the drive-through just cheer us up every morning. And, omg! Love the specialty bagels- all flavors! BUT....Just really ADORE the morning drive through people. They're amazing!
The food is great. The people are friendly and overall it's the best place I know of for breakfast in Tyler. The coffee is also really good. I love going there when I can in the morning and enjoying the atmosphere and food.
Great bagles, good coffee, but the best is that the staff is really kind and always happy to help. Taelor & Chris, are always suuuuuper friendly and not in the "I'm forced to be nice to you" way. Genuinely nice people. Makes my morning that much better and helps me have a great day. Keep up the good work.
Its refreshing to try somthing other than the same old pancakes, waffles .I had the brisket, egg and cheese with a really creamy chipotle sauce. It was fresh hot and very flavourfull.
Awesome customer service & their bagels are delicious. Always fresh! And their coffee is pretty good as well love their selection. Their app is great as well and lets you collect points to use towards free food!
I'm here every Monday and Friday morning because this place is definitely the best place to grab some coffee and breakfast bagel in East Texas. It could be because I get there around 6:45, but it is always very quick to get my order out!
Wonderful breakfast! I'm not much of a bagel person but my breakfast didnt taste like it was on a bagel. I r gone there 2 days in a row now! They have a lunch menu too.
Delicious! My 1st time trying, I expected a tough bagel like I've had in the past from a package.. this was really very good! I had a bagel with egg, cheese and avocado.
They are currently under new management and couldn't be more pleased. I work opening a store and nothing like a quick bite before the day begins. Thank you staff for your remarkable service and Bagels. Love Petland
It was my first time in today, I was ordering for the restaurant I work at. I was very pleased with how Brandy helped me around! She was very polite and quick on her feet. I asked her to pick my bakers dozen and we are all very happy with them! I will be returning because of customer service alone. (Not to mention the yummy breakfast!)
Great food. Excellent customer service. Memorial day with 2 people working but you would have never known it. They had every thing running smoothly as though there was a complete crew. They had bright smiles the entire time too. Great service
I patronize this location every single Sunday with my family of 6. We always receive top notch service and stellar food. We love this place. We also always grab a bakers dozen box for our Sunday school class which is always a hit. I highly recommend!
Had a wonderful first time here! I had the apple cinnamon bagel with the almond whipped spread, and I also got the bacon avocado with jalapeno bagel. I was still craving bagels by the end of the day. And if you're really like me you'll enjoy the fact that they sell their whipped spread at the counter!
Delicious bagels and coffee... Good cream cheese selection. Friendly staff.
Always great bagels and good hot coffee. You can't go wrong at Einstein's anywhere in the country, that's the beauty of chains. Of course if you're on one of the coasts, find a more authentic bagel shop!
Inside is a bit dated, but the food is solid. Highly recommend the Texas brisket sandwich.
Went for a coffee and a sandwich. Both were really good. Many people were doing Uber eats or grub hub or door dash
Staff were friendly and patient. Food was excellent and great variety of breakfast options. Restaurant was clean and a good atmosphere. I ordered the Texas brisket bagel sandwich and it was delicious
Highly recommend the green chili bagel, toasted with cream cheese. Delicious! Also love their jalapeño cheddar and the asiago cheese bagels.
Bagel was good but nearly $5 for one basic bagel and basic cream cheese was wild.
I love their food and coffee. I dont understand people giving it a 4 star when they say the same. They make your coffee and your order when you order it. Its not fast food so they should be ok with it taking 2 mins, which is still pretty fast. Definitely try them out! Only downside is they close at 2pm, but thats not enough to knock a star off.
Went through the drive-thru and the lady at the window was absolutely amazing! Such a refreshing surprise to have an employee so happy, smiley, upbeat, and even had a brief but enjoyable quick chat! Coming from a previous Diner Owner, not easily impressed but she did it! Made the already good bagel even better!
We have visited this location a few times and doesn't disappoint. The staff is very friendly and nice. Quick to help without seeming bothered. Service is quick and food is delicious.
We stopped by here today at 2:50pm, not realizing they were closing at 3pm. We were just looking for coffee and a snack since we skipped lunch. The employees happily took our order and thanked us for stopping by. We appreciate the fact that they were kind even though they were trying to close up shop. The coffee and food were both fresh and yummy, they had already thrown out the eggs so he gave us extra brisket on the sandwich. We actually enjoyed the coffee and food here more than Starbucks! We will definitely be stopping by again.
I ordered poppyseed, garlic, and everything bagels; each are amazing (eat them while they're fresh). They're cream cream cheese varieties are great as well, maybe even better for cheese lovers. The service is all you can ask for; they're friendly and helpful to newcomers so don't be intimidated to try Einstein Bros. Bagels if you've never been. The atmosphere is charming and seems like a nice place to stay if you're not having a busy day.
Bagels are great, the Oregon Chai tea latte is good. This cashier Celeste seems she doesn't like her job, she's really rude and gave my chai tea cold, just for that 4 stars, but great taste!
Stopped by early in the day and had breakfast. Food was ok, nothing exceptional. Service was mid level. The store looked in dire need of a renovation. It doesnt look like it has been touched in over 20 years.
Thanks for the answer. If you want to know the only reason y'all didn't get a five star is, it's a little messy and the air conditioner sleeves look really bad. Oh and the serve yourself coffee dispensers we're miss labeled very badly. Dark roast was hazelnut, the "caffeine less" coffee was medium. Also who calls decaffeinated "caffeine less". And hazelnut was dark roast. But otherwise it was a good experience
The guy at the counter taking oders was super friendly. Everyone else was on automatic. Place was clean and bagels were fresh.
I tried Einstein Bros. Bagels for the first time today and I really enjoyed it. I’m glad there was nobody behind me because it took me quite a few minutes to decide. They have many options to choose from. I ended up deciding on the Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich. I added avocado by the way. I pulled around and they handed me my sandwich within 2 minutes of pulling up to the window. I quickly drove home and got into it. The brisket was surprisingly tender and had a pretty good flavor to it. The smoky chipotle aioli mixed with the avocado made for a great flavor combination. The cheddar jalapeno bagel was nice and toasted, but still soft and warm in the middle. The melted cheddar was also a nice touch. It was a bit pricey at $11 (avocado was extra), but it was still worth it to me. I feel like I’ll definitely add this into my regular rotation. If you haven’t tried Einstein Bros. Bagels, now’s the time.
Love love love the food and coffee! The staff is always super nice except for one girl. She seems like she hates working there and it brings me down on the morning I chose to go there for breakfast. Everyone else is amazing! I usually use the drive thru and it takes forever but I don’t blame that on the staff, I know their doing their best!
Although I enjoy the food here, the service lacks. It's a shame because there are always a couple terrific employees and I want to give them 5 stars, but they are always balanced by other apathetic employees or people who seemingly have nothing pressing to do but still leave me waiting at the counter.
This place is okay the bagel I got was good! I didn’t give it 5 stars because it smelled really burnt in the building and my eyes were watering. Also the bagel was a little too tough! Overall my experience was great! It’s a nice place to get out at with friends.
Quick, efficient, and decent. Einsteins is not my first pick for a breakfast sandwich, but it was decent nonetheless. I ordered an egg white sandwich on a bagel, the sauce was clumpy, the cheese was sparse, and the sheer fact that I was in Texas and requested no meat was mind boggling to them. Not my favorite for bfast sandwiches, but I do love their bagels.
Was busy. I wasn't sure how to order and I was unhappy w8th what I got.
Love their bagels...hate their drive thru service. Person ahead with big order waiting at drive thru window while others with small orders are stuck in line. Then when I do get my bagel, 20 minutes later, its cold and wrong.
Always enjoy the chai, coffee and nibbles here. Unfortunately, the staff needs far more training when it comes getting product out and in the hands of a virtually empty store. Also, the restrooms are dirty, there are absolutely NO paper towels or anything to wipe you hands with after washing them,.which bega the question as to what the staff does afterwards. Trash needs to be attended to as well.
I had an average experience there. The lady seemed less than thrilled to help me with my selection. I hadn't been there before and she was not very helpful. The bagel was tasty.
This place to be hit or miss. One day the service and food are great the next visit a total bomb. Coffee is decent and the doors are always open at 6:30 when I meet there. Get a refill cup it will pay for itself fast and watch your receipt for free stuff.
Usually very good. Every now and then if they sont have ingredients they just wont tell you and put together a lacking item. Ordered a breakfast burrito and only got the tortilla, meat, and egg. It was supposed to have much more. Hardly worth the price if you dont get what you order or are even told theyre out of certain ingredients.
What a downfall of a chain franchise i used to love coming to Einstein bagel the staff was upbeat the place had a lot of people the food was warmed perfect and never wrong fast forward to the last 6 or so months food cold orders wrong the staff had no sense of urgency getting orders right or any customer service sorry lost 2 more customers add us to the dwindling numbers i see go there
We were there a little after 10:00am. Sandwiches were good. Disappointed that the breakfast blend and flavored coffee were out. We ate and left, still no coffee.
Food good but the lack of people causes 20 min waits just to order so bring a chair and a thick book to pass the time. The cashier so slow they made the breakfast before should take the money
overly complex and inconsistent ordering process. menu far too complicated matrix of multiple bagley prices multiplied by several topping pricing options. then there's 3 different classes of sandwiches in multiple sizes and an overwhelming beverage list. food temperature lukewarm
Almost a ten minute wait in the drive through with no one in front of me and they were out of everything bagels.
This was my first time at any location. While the bagels themselves were delicious, the service was at best sub-par. I went through the drive thru. I was told to wait a minute which I thought was fine. There was a note on the menu that said no bulk orders. I proceeded to order a baker's dozen box, but was told that was a bulk order. First off, the characterization of a bulk order is wrong. I would say that 50 is a bulk order, 13 is not. Secondly, anything on the menu in the drive thru should be available for order, if not then they need to have a different menu for the drive thru only. After being disappointed, I went inside and saw there was no line and that made me happy. But upon getting to the counter I saw that during their busiest time (the morning) they were having a meeting and that I would have to wait to place my order. Now, me waiting outside in the drive thru made more sense. The manager should've known better than that. If he needed to talk to all his employees he should've grabbed half of them, had the talk and then grabbed the other half and had the same talk. Instead he decided that the customers would have to wait on him and not the other way around. I work in a customer centric industry and this is completely unacceptable. I had a coupon for a free bakers dozen and this was the reason that I tried your company. However, after this experience I'm pretty sure that I won't be returning.
A good bagel is a good bagel and the lox is fantastic, but things have been sliding. This morning we got a box of sliced, the schmear was left totally out, and several were sliced unevenly leaving crescent halves. I hope to see things pick back up, between some menu changes and this its losing appeal.
Over priced and it's always a surprise if your order is to your satisfaction... 9 times out of 10 it's not. I'm done with this place. Good luck
Bagels are good but employees don’t listen order completely wrong. 9/22/21 at 8:15am. No vanilla in my Vanilla Latte. No Mayo on my bagel sandwich and no cheese on my husbands bagel. My bagel was priced to high and my husbands priced to low. Got the same thing yesterday and the total bill was 2.00 cheaper today. I’d rather pay more and have the order correct.
I have really tried to like this place, but it's not worth the price tag. My latte tasted burnt and wasn't even mixed together. For $5 a cup, it should at least be mixed together. Is that too much to ask? The food is hit or miss. Sometimes the sandwiches are good, and sometimes it's a cobbled together half burned mess.
Only reason why it gets 2 stars is because atleast the food was decent. Other than that, staff did not pay attention to what we wanted at all and for the price, they were “out of most stuff”; so we could only pick from about 4 items. It’s just not worth it. Portions were extremely small and their chai latte was terrible for almost $5. Definitely not coming back.
I only eat eggs scrambled, and Einstein only has fried eggs, so I order a bacon, cheese, and egg bagel without the egg. Bagel was almost too hard to bit. Actually, I broke it by hand in order to eat it. Not a fan of their coffee. The medium roast was bitter.
Well everyone is nice in Cafe.. but they lack in the way you get jipped on your order..your getting small bagels which are tasty but they arent very generous with the cream cheese they literally rub abit on your bagel and geeZ its a little ..We definitely arent in New York 😕 where bagels are huge and boy the hit you w that delicious abundance of cream cheese and whats up with the bacon they take a slice and break it into four for your bagel,,,the six cheese bread was delicious though!
Well this my first time my wife and I went there and I did not like the service. First off we asked if they had gluten free bagels and they said no which was fine. When we asked if they offered dairy free options they said no and when she listed what kinds of milks they had she mentioned almond and silk. So kind of rude about it but just to let everyone know they charge .80 cents for a non dairy milk which is a lot. So we not happy with the serve also not enough gluten free options. Update 9/2/22 This place has not changed except the price of items but it has gotten a bit worse. I have been here for about 2 hours and when I first got here the coffee was not fresh and the milks were not filled up. Now two hours later none of the staff refilled anything. This is something that bothers me. Also the lack of soda options is displeasing because there are only three choices to choose from which there should be 6. I do not know when the next time I will be coming but not for a while. The place needs to get their act together and do better like Panera bread.
I eat at this restaurant because it's supposed to be an upper-tier fast food joint, higher quality than Mcdonald's, better food, better service, etc... I ordered my usual applewood bacon and cheddar egg sandwich and an iced white mocha this morning. I bite into the sandwich after I leave, and guess what? No bacon... I really don't understand how someone could mess that up. It is literally way easier than making a cheeseburger seeing as how only three things come on the bagel. It wouldn't be THAT BIG of a deal, but this happens almost every other time I visit. Whether they give me a hot coffee when I ask for iced, mess up my sandwich, or just take an incredibly long time to get my order out, something is often wrong. You guys lost my business today. It really blows my mind how someone can forget to put the freaking bacon on a bacon sandwich. If you wan't to see exactly why the minimum wage should not be raised to $15 per hour, visit this place.
Kids (and infant) piled in car, me in PJs, and trying to get box of bagels in a hurry - item right off drive through menu. ONLY person in line. Wouldn't take order - said I had to come inside. Then, person at register looked at me like I was crazy for being upset. Seriously!? I get it if there is a line outside and it's morning rush. But at 10:30 and no one in line... frustrating. If I hadn't already promised the family, I would have gone to Dunkin' Donuts instead. I'll know for the future to keep it simple with Dunkin' Donuts!
Rude employees. I was being waited on while telling the employee what I wanted an gentleman came in to pickup his order and the employee left me and waited on him and then turned around to fill an drive thru order and never came back. One of the employees making food told me she had customers before me which I was the only standing there trying to fill my order so I told them I am out. Will never go there and wouldn't tell anyone else to go there.
Only giving one star because you have to chose a star otherwise would get zero stars. The absolute worst service in a restaurant. Rude employees that were enjoying conversation and joking among themselves while customers stood there. Will never go back and don’t recommend anyone visit here.
Worst customer service I’ve ever had!!! The guy there is very kind and fast and does a pretty good job but the woman and the white lady that does the bagels are soooo rude, disrespectful don’t help at all and both look unhappy with their job! Won’t be going again!
I went through the drive through and literally waited 40 minutes my coffee was long cold when I finally got my food and they refuced to switched it for a hot one. No one came to the window to at least tell me how much longer it would be inthe 40 minutes I was waiting. I had to honk my horn for someone to come and finally give me my food .
Website is absolutely worthless wanted to see what you offered and definitely won't have that information after looking at the website but the reviews explained all I needed I won't be going Well I was talked into going today what a horrible mistake the stench was so horrible I could barely stand it I was second in line and it took 15 minutes before I got to order the lady in front of me got a single bagel cold nothing else I got 2 chocolate chip bagels and another sandwich thing the bagels were HORRIBLY STALE OMG they were so tough and dry I couldn't eat them without soaking them in coffee but the burned onion bits and garlic bits that were all stuck to the bottom made it worse than anything else I've ever had in a bagel shop so combined with the stench of the building the extra slow motion the people are working at and then the age and the sorry looking skinny runt flat bagels that I was given I will be contacting some inverters I know that actually own several uncle Harry's bagel shops I think I will be a rich man by simply opening up a bagel shop that makes a good fresh bagel
This place is ridiculous. Waited in drive through 30min For them just to mess up my order.. Not to mention it was cold hopefully the manager will offer a refund instead of a Google apology
Remember that if your dozen bagels are undercooked you have to call the same day (even if the store is closed by the time you get home). Also remember that you have the return the half eaten bagels with cream cheese to the store so they don't tell you that all bagels weren't returned. Given these specific set of circumstances it may be within the realm possibilities to obtain a refund. Patronizing the establishment on a minimum of a weekly basis is no indication of the ability of a customer to gauge consistently or quality of the product. Thanks for the help! I have contacted customer service and left a voicemail for the GM. Still waiting to hear back.
Been here twice. It was "We dont have any bagels" the first time. "i guess they didnt tell you we're out of egg/cheese" after I already paid, the second time. Im apalled they're still in business with the incredibly repulsive attitudes of the employees.
Where to start? Not sure what happened..a few months ago this place wasn't bad. Now they never have the items I want.....like the last 6 times I went. I have to go thru the menu and ask what items they actually have. Someone does not know how to order stock or inventory.I would fire all the staff but the sweet girl at the window and 2 others that are obviously more experienced. If the health inspector caught them taking the wrong orders they serve back across the counter, that would be bad for them.......And it is very often they get my order wrong. I gave them their last chance today. Save your time, go someplace else!!!!
Horrible management! Refuse to toast bagels even when you are dining in… If I wanted a cold bagel, I would go to the grocery store! Plus, we always end up waiting for a ridiculous amount of time for our food, and they are usually out of some major item like sugar, napkins, bacon, or bagels! It would be one thing if this was a one time thing, but we have had bad experiences over and over again. Their bagels are pretty good, but not worth the hassle, especially if they're going to serve them cold!
Employees was extremely rude while taking my phone order. The manager Brian was nonchalant about the behavior. Another employees named Scarlett looked directly at me while telling the Manager the story and laughed multiple times. One i informed him of the behavior he basically ignored it and brushed it off. I've been going to Einstein since I moved to the area a while ago and I extremely disappointed with the service or lack there of.
$14 for breakfast. got a cold breakfast sandwich, ordered a caramel latte, got a mocha instead. Barista argued with me rather than remaking it. This is typically a decent chain in other cities but not Tyler, TX. Won't be back
I was the only one in line at 1:30 in the afternoon. I ordered and paid for an Americano with an extra shot. At 1:44 I had to go up and ask for my order and find out what was taking so long. Their response was we dont know how to Make an Americano the one employee that knew how no longer works here. Then another employee said we don't make that drink anymore because no one knows how to Make it. My response was that is funny since i ordered one this morning a few hours ago. This place has really gotten bad over time.
Placed a mobile order at 12:10pm for pickup. Drive 13 miles to pickup the order and I’m told they are completely out of food. Would have been nice to be contacted letting me know this before driving all that way. Additionally, there’s no excuse to be completely out of food 2 hours before close. Seems like poor planning and lack of effort on the staffs part.
Store was dirty and staff not friendly at all. Ordered 2 lunch sandwiches which menu indicated came with chips. Then was told there were no chips but it was the same price. Asked for a drink in exchange for the 2 chips that I paid for and didn’t receive and “manager” was rude. Advertising clearly said it came with chips but manager said it was the same price with or without chips. Manager who took order seem inpatient with my daughter while she was trying to order. Very disappointing experience
My wife came in to get two bagels and three doggy bagels but ended up with the poppy seed bagels for some reason. It took the staff 30 minutes just to get this together and they still screwed it up!! I've been to this location several times and have trouble almost every time.
Not worth the hype at all. This was my first and last time trying this chain. The sandwiches are low quality and pricey. I waited 18 minutes in the drive thru to pick up my mobile order, just to be told I had to go inside for that. Then discovered that my order was missing an item that was out of stock, but nobody was going to be bothered to inform me of that so I could at least get a refund, because you will not be refunded in the app.
My wife and I have been patrons here since 2016. Over the years this establishment has rapidly declined. The once attentive management and crew who ALWAYS got your order correct and CARED if it wasn’t has been replaced with an apathetic staff. In the past 10 consecutive visits our order has been correct ZERO times. When brought to ,whoever is the new manager of the week is, they fix it by handing YOU the ingredient they forgot in a bag and you have to assemble it yourself. This is the last time I will give them my business. The tables are always filthy, the place is ran by kids and have zero customer service.
My sandwich had a hair and they messed up my order twice, they don't put attention because they play to much. My sandwich bearly had any avocado, i requested thin but it wasn't. it was terrible I doubt ill be back 😫
Can you really call this place a restaurant? Most times I come in here for a bagel and just end up standing around - Sometimes a person (who clearly wishes I would leave) will take my order, sometimes I just walk away and find something else to eat. I guess a 50/50 chance for a bagel is better than no chance at all. In the latest example of hostilities directed at their customers, this place is locking their bathroom! Was there really such a problem with non customers using the restroom that the idea of inconveniencing actual customers presented a compelling value proposition? I expect this pad site to be vacant and up for lease soon.
Came in on Mothers Day 5/8/2022 12:20 pm not busy at all no one at the register or window to take our order. Tried three times to get the person who puts your order togethers attention he’s was too busy to acknowledge me because he was talking to a woman on his phone via his earbud finally I had to raise my voice a bit to get his attention and all he could say was the order counter is over there and I said yes but there’s no one there he said she was busy and I said doing what !??? Finally she showed up to take our order. We drive an hour away to come is it to much to receive proper service. I’d understand if it’s busy that service may be slower ( no one should be on their phone while working on personal business) but NOT because someone feels their personal phone call us more important that’s unacceptable. Now just heard my husband having to ask that same person that he’d appreciate it he would fix his bagel and know all the guy had to do was put the bagel through and toast it, SERIOUSLY!!!! Worst service ever. Finally got our bagels but note the guy was still on his phone as he handed the 4 mind you toasted bagels… and he didn’t even have to put schear on them as we bought a container ourselves. HE wouldn’t do our bagels the lady finally had to come over and do it for us. EPIC FAIL
Been coming here long time and past 8 months my order has been wrong every time. They have corrected my order. And today when I asked who the owner was I was not given the information and was laughed at and told who the manager and shift lead was. This place for the money is falling apart. Used to be run very smoothly now just bunch a kids new people each time, was told it’s is hard to keep staff..... well then do something . Pay them more train them better, give them more hours. But to spend my hard earned money and my order always be wrong and then laughed at. Is not okay. We will not be coming back. There you go Einstein’s loosing business if you don’t make some serious changes. I will be telling everyone I know in industry
The only way to avoid being disappointed is to just get a bagel with cream cheese. Both my wife and I have been disappointed at least the last 3 times. I always want it to be better and give it another chance but they always mess things up. They are also out of nearly every kind of bagel when we go so go early if you want any choice. I really wish this place was better because I love good bagel places.
Waited 30 minutes to get to their drive thru speaker just for them to tell me their "system is down" and when I asked them what they meant. The cashier got an attitude. Seems like an authority/managerial issue. Probably not coming back anytime soon. Sucks because I really do like the food. Oh well, there's always Panera.
Got to Einstein's this morning about 6:50. As the store doesn't open till 7am, I noticed only one car parked on the side and thought surely they were going open soon. I noticed that there were other customers arriving and waiting for opening. At 7:06 it appeared that the employees arrived with no intention of trying to hurry and get the store open. I usually find that the store is opened at 7 with coffee and bagels ready. I observed no bagels in the case and the coffee urns not there. Agreeing with the other customers, it's not worth supporting such a store that lacks consideration for their customers. Bye.
Every time I order and pay EXTRA for more cream cheese it’s the same exact amount if not LESS than normal. Done trying that! What’s wrong with you??? *Edit two weeks later: I did what the reply comment below said (on website) and nothing happened.
Really horrible experience. We went at 10:30 on a Sunday before work to grab breakfast any did not get out food until 11:10. 40 minutes! And everyone else was waiting on their orders too. And meanwhile the staff was getting mad and bickering at each other instead of working as a team. And then after getting our food and eating I immediately felt sick to my stomach. Really hope I'm not getting food poisoning. Just really disappointed with this restaurant.
Ordered an Ice coffee with my meal and the employee asked me to make my own ice coffee.
First time trying, bad experience. Egg and sausage taste frozen and was cold. Disgusting dirty place I don’t know how people can eat in there. Mold in the ceiling dirty tables.
Hard to tell about the food this morning. Arrived at 7am, when the business is supposed to be open, and nobody is here. The bagle display is empty and it appears nothing is ready to go. The staff arrives about 5 after. I was leaving at this point. I like hot bagels in the morning and the group I meet with Likes Einstein's. However the staffing of this location is a major issue.
The most frustrating catering experience I've ever had. After being told several times over the phone that the driver was "pulling in now" to our location, he never showed. We eventually had to meet the driver 4 miles away from our location to pick up the food, which arrived an hour after our event started. It took several weeks to get a manager over the phone, and they refused to refund any of our money, even the delivery fee. All they offered was a 15% discount on our next order and to waive the next delivery fee. Will definitely not be ordering from them again.
Hands down the worst experience I’ve had while just trying to get breakfast. As a visitor to Tyler for a tennis tournament my family had eaten in Einstein Bagels before and loved the food so we decided to try it this morning. We all ordered and everything went smoothly until our order was brought to the table, the women that brought the order said they were out of a particular bagel that my daughter wanted, no big deal, I just sent her up to pick out a substitute for them to make instead. Approximately 10 minutes went by and my daughters corrected bagel had not came so we go to the counter and they act as if they have no idea what we are talking about. After the employees talked they said that it was made and someone must have came up and grabbed it. OK, I just assume they will remake the order. Shortly after an employee shows up to the table and tries to tell me we never ordered the item which seems funny that the person who brought the order out knew all about it. While trying to decide how to handle this the young lady telling me I never ordered it gets extremely hateful so my wife grabs the receipt and ask to talk to a manager. To my amazement the young lady starts pointing and bowing up to my wife (OVER A BAGEL!) Once my wife gets to the manager to try and solve the situation the same young lady is yelling and pointing in a threading manner. Not feeling safe from the actions of this women my wife just asked for the regional managers number and we leave without the food we came for. While all this was happening I was being apologized to by some local patrons hoping we would visit again.
terrible service ordered bagels online and apparently when we made the 20 minute drive to pick our order their system was down keep in mind this is AFTER we were charged for our 6 bagels at 54$!! If we we’re issued some kind of refund or substitute since we were already charged i would have no issue but they basically told us “sorry you can’t have your bagels even though you were already charged”
The restaurant was filthy, and the drink machine had most of the labels peeled off so you just had to guess to what you were getting I guess. The coffee was mislabeled as well. Got the key to the bathroom, but the bathroom had urine all over the toilet and floor. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years so I’m confused as to why you needed a key. It’s disturbing to think the cooks use those same facilities. Every table was dirty, and trash can was overflowing. Even the signage had greasy fingerprints on it. Bacon egg and cheese bagel was cold, cheese wasn’t even melted. Eat at this place at your own risk.
My mother in law orders from Einstein’s at least 3 times a month. I always order the Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich because it tastes delicious, but every time I get it I swear the quality of the sandwich gets worse and it is extremely disappointing. This morning, my mother in law ordered again, and I opened my sandwich to probably no more than a teaspoon of brisket on my sandwich. I am EXTREMELY disappointed, and if this is the type of product you guys are going to be putting out, you should seriously do better. This is absolutely ridiculous and not worth the money.
