Get your cones upside down! They're super nice and very clean inside!
It reminds of an old school diner burger spot just as it looks. Inside needs some updates but other than that the burger and fries and drinks were great!!

Foster’s Freeze is a classic, and one of the best parts is the amazing service. There’s one employee who’s been here for around 40 years—she’s truly the heart of the place. Always smiling, always kind, and she makes you feel genuinely welcome every time you visit. Her dedication and positive energy make the experience that much better. A true gem. I love fosters freeze, the burgers are always good I also really like their fries. The ice cream is a must whether you get a twister, a shake, maybe even a sundae.
Been here only a few times, but it never disappoints. Will start going more often when I want a good burger. Your gonna pay almost the same at the fast food spots, but I think for the price your getting a far better meal.
Very old school atmosphere!! Love it!! My favorite is the French fries with a cup of 50/50 ice cream!!!!
Absolutely phenomenal service. Brought my daughter and the made her laugh and giggle. The ice cream was AMAZING. Would recommend anyone who wants ice cream. The place itself was very well kept and I love the oldies theme. Very retro. The servers were on top of their game and knew the menu with no question. Very well done in everything. Definitely will be going back to try the food.
We got twisters and they were great! A lot of the toppings were mixed in so it wasn't just ice cream with the occasional candy piece. I had reeses mixed with butterfinger and it was a good combination. The server who took the order was helpful and answered all our questions.
This is such a fun place to go- really brings back the memories from my childhood. The food we got was really good and of course the ice cream 🍨 yummy 🤤 Prices have gone up but to me the prices here weren’t too high, especially for the quality of food. I had a corndog and it was yummy and a small strawberry sundae.
We didn’t have any food but the soft serve was very good. Portions are large and the prices are pretty reasonable.
The service was fast and the food was hot and delicious: great burger and good chicken strips. Only downsides were the fries were a little too salty and the jukebox has not been repaired to be able to play songs like in the earlier days of this vintage diner.
Clean shop, love the oldies playing on the speakers. Friendly staff, food came out hot and freshly cooked. Fries were very good, shakes were great, hamburgers average for a spot like this. Reminds me of the Fosters that I went to over 60 years ago
Old school vibes makes me want to drive my 73 monte carlo to this restaurant. Love the oldie but goodies playing over the speakers. Nice burgers great fries and love the dipped cones. The outdoor seating was great had a pretty big group and the kids were able to sit at a table and the adults had their own. I had the western big boss meal with fries and a drink.
Always a fun place to go for ice cream and shakes. Burgers aren't bad either. My son loves the place. Service is friendly.
I think they changed ownership and it's not for the better, I don't live in Vacaville but Fosters there is not what it used to be.
Good old school place to go but 2 small cones dipped ..$10
Soft serve was delicious but $9.50 for 2 mini cones seems unreasonable. Then, I made the mistake of using the restroom. It was THE FILTHIEST restroom I’ve ever seen!
I'm giving it a 3 star because the ice cream was good. Prices on the other hand are outrageous! Got a chicken strip combo didn't come with any fries and a small m&m ice cream and a small cone was $24@
Fast food is Fosters...burgers, chicken nuggets, fish filet sandwiches. Food ordered at counter, arrives hot. Inside and outdoor tables. Kids love it. Especially those TWISTER ice cream desserts.
Nice place they got going. However customer service not good. And they should clean the outside of place including cleaning the windows.
Went for a double burger and popcorn chicken and receive a slop sandwich and feathers in my food. The cook said there’s nothing she can do and to take it up with owner that’s not there. No apologies or anything. Will never be back
