Cosa dicono i clienti di Wako Roll
Wako Roll offers a mix of Korean and Japanese cuisine. Customers praise the fresh sushi, especially the dragon, caterpillar, and California rolls, and the bibimbap. Some find the atmosphere cluttered and the self-service model odd, while others report inconsistent food quality and service.

Here's a review for Wako Roll: --- **Review for Wako Roll** I recently visited Wako Roll and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their sushi and the overall dining experience. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality offered. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. Currently, I'm disabled and the waitress went above and beyond to assist me with my order and drinks. Her attentiveness and kindness made my visit very comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you so much for the outstanding service and great food, Wako Roll. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent sushi and superb customer care.
This place has so much flavor. Waco Roll was my absolute favorite. There is crunch, spice, and rice. New York roll was fresh and had delicious shrimp. Spicy tuna and dragon roll also had a little kick to it. 🔥Bibimbap beef tasted phenomenal😋. We are always coming back here for sushilicious meals.
This place is an introvert's paradise; one person's cold and sterile is another's low anxiety. I ordered from the kiosk, got my drink, and my food came out shortly. The server was friendly, and the portion was good. I got the hot bibimbap and had about half left over for a snack later. I want to try the bulgogi next time. Since I paid up front I grabbed my leftovers and bounced.
Considering the ingredients and the fact that it is operated in the United States, it would be difficult to say that it is exactly the same as authentic Korean food. However, I believe it is quite similar in many ways. The food is tasty, and the portion sizes are reasonable. The cleanliness of the restaurant is not bad, though it could be improved a little. The food was served fairly quickly, so there was no long wait. Utensils and water cups are self-service.
Great food!!! Great service. Local owned!!! Even though we recieved one of our rolls incorrect they made it right and then some!!! We are from out of town and we were looking for a great sushi place and we found one here!
Food was good. The place is small but was full of people. It's a little more expensive than ichiban but the rules were good. You kind of order on your own and help yourself to drinks and getting your silverware. Getting your own boxes if you have anything to take home. Really is a self-service type place.. They bring out the food and that's about it.
Love this place! I usually get a California roll, but I've stepped out of my comfort zone . I don't regret it either! There wasn't a long wait my last few visits; even when I've doordashed. However, I do feel like it looks a little cluttered. The service is good and they're really accommodating if there's anything wrong. Great place for family, a date, or just to grab something to go.
Visited this place for the first time recently. A co-worker recommended it. I wasn't impressed with the interior of the establishment. It looked kind of messy and in need of love. The customer service was excellent. The cashier was super nice as well as the employee that gave me the order. About the food, well, we ordered 3 different rolls of sushi and the 3 of them were actually really good. We also ordered spicy fries and fried rice. We disliked both. The rice was hard, dry and tasteless. We will not order again rice or fries. We did enjoyed their fried squid rings. They were tasty. Overall an ok place that could be really good if they put more attention to detail on their menu and interior decor of the place.
Interesting place for Korean, Sushi, and other Asian-inspired menu items. Not expensive. Low key. Blue collar. A little dirty. Yet comfortable. Food is good. Healthy. No worries, the raw fish was safe. Some unique items, like a Bulgogi Taco. Found this place while driving from Austin to Dallas, letting Google suggest sushi. Feels like college kids may frequent during peak hours. Good sign, local Asian customers stop in for dinner.
We got 3 different sushi rolls and couldnt even pick them up they just crumbled apart. The rice had little to no flavor. The sushi wasnt that good either. Also you order at a kiosk and it still asks for a tip. We paid $50 something for food that wasnt good.
I ordered the California roll and kimchi stew with beef to try. The California roll was not great. The filling to rice ratio was off. I know most people would love to have more filling, I agree if it's fresh fish, but California roll filling....to much. I think if they made a little cheaper and used about half the filling they do it would be good. The kimchi stew wasn't bad, but felt lacking for some reason. Really couldn't put my finger on why I felt that way. Maybe if there were more stuff in it, like those disc shapes rice cakes, I think it would elevate that dish. Overall the food is average and will hit the Korean food craving but because of those few issues I had to knock a few stars off
So I stopped by here after seeing some good photos online. Needless to say, my portion size was not the same as advertised in the pictures. Maybe because I got mine to go? Next time I will take a seat. So there is a kiosk you use to order to-go and dine-in. I picked a meat around $14, and then it asked what kinda rice you want or no rice. I picked no rice, but the price didn't change, so I added the fried rice price still didn't change. Hit checkout price went up $2.50 for rice, then it asks for a tip. So I walked out of there spending $20, and I mainly got lettuce, cucumbers, and rice. For twenty dollars on just one person, I would go elsewhere.
Having to order through the kiosk just so they can charge you a “convenience” fee is nonsense. Food came out so staggered that half our party was done eating when the last arrived. One roll never came. Boba was out of stock, tea was empty. The rolls weren’t cut all the way through so they fall apart when you try to pick them with chopsticks. Staff on their phones at the counter. Just not worth the trouble. Used to come frequently. Bummer.
Food was not as pictured on the menu, when I went to ask for spicy mayo that should have been on the roll I ordered they told me they would charge for it. Just rude service. They could have been more accommodating..
Food was not as pictured on the menu. When I pointed this out to the work staff, she was incredibly rude and unapologetic. The tables were sticky and not wiped down or clean. Vegetables in fried rice were still hard and not fully cooked. Several pieces of California roll had no cucumber. Again, waitstaff was rude and unconcerned. Would not return.
Literally nothing good here. We love sushi and seafood, everything here had a bad after taste and you could tell it was old. Terrible service as well, girls on their phones won’t even look up at us when they speak. We walked out without eating it was so bad. Part of their restaurant is their storage room too apparently
Customer service plays such a big role in the dining experience, and unfortunately this place had horrible customer service. Most of the food was great, but the japchae was bland. I had to ask for a sauce, which they charged an extra $0.50 for... totally fine, but if a dish lacks flavor, the restaurant should take responsibility and offer a solution. We asked to be seated by the window so our kids could watch the cars passing by. While the lady did clean the table, her first response was to just open the blinds where we were made it feel like our request was being dismissed. On top of that, the staff weren’t friendly at all, which really killed the mood. The way customers are treated here is not how it should be in a service-oriented business.
This place has done way downhill. Everything is self- serve, and they expect you to leave a tip. You have to place your order at a kiosk unless paint cash, then a person will take your order. Additionally, expect 3 people to share one "plate" but at another table being two plates. Forget about getting a roll with soy paper unless you want to use a spoon to eat. Sushi fell apart just by picking up other pieces. Then, they want to charge you $0.50 for any additional sauce. See attached photos. Won't be back here again until big changes are made.
Not good. The order kiosk was hard to follow and did not work when I tried to pay. There were 6 dirty tables and lots of leftovers on each table. That should have been I sign to me that the sushi would not be good. The sushi rolls came out about 3 min after we ordered. So they were premade. They were served cool but not cold. The flavor was unappealing so we only ate a few from each roll. The only good thing - our large portion of udon noodles came out a few minutes later hot and delicious.
If you’re looking for anything remotely good, do not go here. Thoroughly not impressed. The Kimchi Bokkeumbap, fried rice, and miso soup were flavorless. We tried the tropical roll (pictured) and the eye of the dragon. The sushi pieces were also flavorless, extremely thick, and sloppily thrown together.
