I've been looking for a fish and chips place close to home and a friend recommended Off the Hook Grill. Running errands with mom we stopped in. Nice atmosphere! Friendly fast service! Lots of public parking! Great food! I thoroughly enjoyed the food! I got a house fish taco with the chipotle and an avocado sauce, both were really good. The fish taco is huge!! And so crunchy!! Then came the fish and chips! Another huge piece of fish!! It was delicious! The best part? It's really really affordable.. for the price lower than a combo meal you get, fish, frys and coleslaw.. the coleslaw was tasty too!

If you love fish/shrimp tacos come here! They are amazing and they have a few different sauces they drizzle over the tacos! Come during happy hour and get a little discount on drinks!

Fantastic place for seafood! Fresh seafood. I love the calamari strips here, fried just the right amount and it is tender inside. Their sauces are also fantastic, the honey spice sauce on tacos is a must try. They also have caramel stuffed churro in a giant bowl of vanilla ice cream. If you do get the churro ice cream bowl make sure you share, or not!

This place is always busy because the food is so tasty. One time we waited more than 40 min for our food, but boy it was all worth it. While eating we saw many customers actually picking up the food. Outdoor seating also available. Parking on the street or at RiteAid's parking lot :) Shrimp tacos, grilled fish with rice pilaf was crazy good. There were some really awesome looking drinks, didn't try them since I was pregnant but if in the Whittier Area again, will definitely stop by. Every day of the week they have specials, so go ahead!!

I had originally given Off the Hook Fish Grill 4 Stars because it was crowded last time we were here. It is crowded today, but beyond the places' atmosphere, beyond the places' characteristics it the people in here and your company that gives the experience that extra star 🌟. perfect little spot for off the hook tacos

I was greeted warmly (which is so rare these days) by 2 ladies upfront and had the option to dine inside or out. I chose inside, although the outside seemed like a larger area. My server was great! She had a sweet & spunky personality and her smile and helpfulness felt very genuine. The atmosphere has a "beachy feel" although we are in Whittier. I ordered the chips & salsa & LOVED them! The chips were yummy & tasted fresh, as well as the salsa, which had a bit of an exotic, spicy possibly chipotle hint to it (and I usually don't like chipotle). Although my server recommended the shrimp taco w/ cilantro sauce, I went against her wishes and went for the classic house fried fish taco named "Our Fish Taco". It was EVERYTHING I hoped for! Can't wait to come back again and try more!

Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets—and this spot proves it! The food was good, the service was friendly, and overall it was a great experience. I definitely recommend going back. They say they have the best fish and chips, so that’s next on our list to try!

The service was a little subpar when I came in. The girl didn’t really care that I came and took a while to clean off the table I sat at. Then Juan came on duty and service was better. The food was good. Nothing to write home about but good enough for me to come back and try other things. I tried the large fish and chips. I like the style of breading they used for the fried fish. Coleslaw was a little bland, but good.

I ordered takeout from this place while visiting friends for work. My takeout order was ready when I arrived. I ordered about 15 minutes before I got there. They had dining inside and out so good job for that. They also had a TV outside for people to watch which was nice. I ordered the salad with seared fish. It was decent but lettuce could have been more fresh. It looked really good in the picture I'm posting with my review.....maybe I should have tried a different dressing? Not sure. Give this place a try.

Bought lunch for the office. We had the fish and chips. Fish was fried from frozen and slimy under the panko coating. The fries were overcooked. We could not eat any of it. Very disappointing.
