Such fast wonderful service. The food is so good, you could cry. The gyro was the best I've had in the world, and I've been around the world. Such flavor, sauces, veggies, amazing. Fries were seasoned and perfect. I tried three dessert cakes, marvelous. And they had blue powerade/Gatorade so I was set. This has to be everyone's favorite spot.

Stopped by randomly while passing through on a trip. My gyro tasted great and they did not skimp on the meat! Definitely get your moneys worth.

I will definitely say it's great flavor, affordable friendly staff, and an amazing gyro u know, like a gyroscope, not Hero, lol. I don't know why people keep calling it a Hero, it's Gyro like spinning, spinning meat, lol it grinds my gears 😂. Anyways, the pita was pillowy soft, the Taziki was creamy and full of flavo. The lamb, oh my God, was Devine, and most importantly, it wasn't overly salty it was the perfect taste. If you love meat, this is the place where the Gyro and subs come loaded with meat. If you're into Gyros or Hero, I can't believe I just said that word. You should absolutely give them a try.

Nikkos was really good. The portion was huge for the sub. The prices are well worth the meal. They have good deals for meals. The veggies tasted and looked fresh. Everything tasted amazing. The counter lady was very nice. The place was clean as well. Great experience and great food. Tasted and felt like I was at home. Will be back again.

Wow! The double gyro definitely lives up to its name! I was able to separate the fillings and made 3 gyros out of it! I’m so glad I ordered extra pita because there was no way I was eating one double gyro in one sitting! The food is delicious and the price is beyond reasonable ($7.99?!) for the quality and quantity you receive. The tzatziki sauce is super flavorful and creamy, the gyro meat is seasoned to perfection, the fries smell heavenly and the baklava melts in your mouth.

Wow, what a great surprise in Abilene. After one visit, Nikos Greek Gyros is at the top of the list for my favorite restaurant in Abilene and possibly Texas. Was greeted by the woman behind the register, I ordered the gyro special. I ordered black olives and feta on the side and Niko brought it to my table. Without a doubt the best 9 dollars I have spent in years. If you leave hungry, it's definitely because you chose too. The lamb and beef were cooked perfectly and the flavor was out of this world. I have recommended it to all of my coworkers who enjoy Greek food and even bought another gyro to bring to one of them. I will absolutely be making the 45 minute trip, one way to enjoy Nikos again.

The gyros are delicious, the pita bread is warm and soft, but I have to tell you, that is not tzatziki sauce. I love tzatziki sauce, its one of the reasons I eat at Greek places but this is just not it.

Quaint atmosphere and delicious food ready in good time. I wasn't initially intending to visit this restaurant but after a few other places were either closed or had an extensive wait I stumbled Nikos. Turned out to be quite fortunate, I haven't had good Greek food in Texas since I moved away from San Antonio with John the Greek's. The gyro's were delicious, well seasoned food, soft pita, and delicious tzatziki sauce. It was prepared fresh and the wait was brief. I loved that you can see the gyros/diners in the front, reminds me of good street food. Always worth noting, I used the restroom while I was there and it was extremely clean.

All I can say is wow. These are the best gyros I have ever had! The food was so delicious! Service was a little slow, but worth the wait! All the staff were very friendly and kind. Had a welcoming environment.

Tried baklava for the first time here. It was like chewing through cardboard then nuts, then cardboard again. Not sure if that's what it's supposed to be like, I googled it and supposedly it's to be light and airy? The fries and gyro we're good, but maybe too much meat to veggie ratio. $16 for the special and dessert.

We ordered a gyro salad, falafel, a gyro plate, and a gyro special. The staff are friendly and helpful. The dishes are reasonably priced and consistently good. The restaurant was moderately busy, and the food still came out quickly.

The servings were large and the prices very reasonable. The food tastes good, especially the fries! I ordered the gyro special. $7.99 with fries and a drink. I couldn't finish it. I liked my food, but it seemed to lack flavor and the meat was a little dry. The atmosphere was ok. Nothing special. You order at the counter from some pictures of the different food choices.

Make sure you get here before the meat on the rotisserie has hardened and dried out. Otherwise you’ll be knocking your teeth out crunching on your gyro. When I pointed it out to Niko he agreed with me: yes the meat has dried out because it’s been on the stick so long. In a proper Greek restaurant they shave the meat off the stick before it becomes dried and hardened. There was no seasoning/flavor to the chicken either.
