I cannot say enough amazing things about Don Pan on Oakland Park and Nob Hill! I’ve been coming here for years, and it has always been one of my absolute favorite spots. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, and for me, that’s almost always thanks to Sonia. She’s the sweetest, most professional, charismatic, and genuinely kind person — she makes every visit special. Honestly, there are days I come in just because I know I’ll get to see Sonia and have her take my order. She always makes me feel like a valued customer, and her positive energy is contagious. As for the food — phenomenal. My go-to is the Arepa Don Pan — packed with flavor, perfectly made, and so filling. Today, I branched out and tried the Criollo for the first time, and wow… absolutely incredible! Every bite was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Their sweet bread and bakery items? Out. Of. This. World. I honestly don’t think there’s a single thing on the menu that isn’t amazing. And to top it off, their prices are super competitive, which makes it so easy to keep coming back week after week. This place is a gem, and it’s been consistently fantastic for years. Thank you, Don Pan, and especially Sonia, for making every visit something to look forward to!

Overall, Don Pan was a nice place to have lunch. The steak sandwich was tasty and while the bread was not toasted, it gave the sandwich more charm and texture than if the sandwich was toasted. The Cafe Con Leche was also flavorful. While I am not usually a fan of hot coffee, the coffee was not burning hot to the point where my younger was given third degree burns. It was warm. I look forward to my next visit to try their baked good!

The cheese empanadas and the cachitos de jamón were good. I deducted one star because you have to remind them to give you the sauce for the empanadas. Otherwise they forget.

Food is really good but service was terrible today, all the front end staff had a terrible attitude and not very friendly. They should learn a little bit from their Davie location counterparts. On a good note, They offer 2x1 for some bakery items at 8Pm which is good to avoid food waste

The food here is fresh and taste excellent. The place is very clean and organized. The employees are friendly and respectful. Not much english speakers to know or take your order but as long as you point on what you need then you will be fine. There is no sugar free or low sugared items here when i ask so tread lightly if you are diabetic or pre. It's a very nice setting/atmosphere you can sit and clear your head, meditate, or enjoy you.

I got a pape bowl today and it was tasteless. The beans have no flavor. Taste that came right out of the can.The cheese was all stuck together very disappointing. The first time I had it was pretty good this time. It was awful. I’m not coming back. They lack consistency. Waste of money.

They’re selling days old cachitos. The inside of the cachito is stale and has a grayish color to it. If this is how they sell cachitos I wonder what else is old that they’re reselling. It’s starting to get ridiculous how many food places stop caring about the quality of the food they serve. Take a look at the pictures i e posted. It’s actually kind of gross.

Atrocious. This was our take out order for a “steak arepa” arepa was a hundred days old, hard like a rock, and not even cut in properly probably because it was so stale and old. It went straight from Don Pan to my house nearby to my plate, so we can’t blame distance or it being a take out order. Absolute garbage, will never return.
