A GEM IN ALASSIO: Ristorante Pinseria da Dino Every time I return to Alassio, one of the things I enjoy most is returning to Ristorante Pinseria da Dino. This place is more than a restaurant: it's a little corner of home where every detail is designed to make you feel pampered and at ease. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and every member of the staff, starting with the extraordinary Mrs. Bruna, does everything they can to make your experience unique and special. With her expertise and precision, Bruna always knows how to best advise you, making every order a pleasure. Today I chose a first course of tagliatelle with cuttlefish, accompanied by a fresh mixed salad, and as always, the quality and flavor were impeccable. I didn't order the pinsa, which is always a must, but I know I won't be missing it next time! You can truly feel the passion and love that Dino and Bruna put into everything they do, and that's what makes every visit special. Thank you for your hospitality, quality, and that homey touch that makes Ristorante Pinseria da Dino a place we always want to return to.
A lovely place! We arrived in Alasio late afternoon, found a hotel, and went in search of some supper. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated. 200 metres from the hotel we stumbled across Da Dino. A very warm welcome and, even on a quiet Tuesday winter's evening, there were a number of diners enjoying their food. Very friendly people running the place, attentive service, and excellent food. A charming place to spend a few hours after a busy day. Grazie mille!
The Pinsas where delicious 👌🏻 thank you for the warm welcome and the nice evening at your restaurant. See you next time im Alassio 😘
We have eaten here serval times. Food, wine and service is amazing try the Pinsa, a typical variation of Pizza: just amazing.
Possibly one of the best pizzas I’ve eaten in Italy. Pretty standard pizza place in the best part of Alassio. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Will be back!
Great place from start to finish. Our welcome when we arrived was enthusiastic… our drinks and food came out VERY FAST. Best pizza!!! Friendly staff. Despite our language barrier the staff again was so welcoming and helpful. We loved this spot!!! 5 STARS
I absolutely enjoyed this visit. A really family place where each guest matters, gets a lot of attention. Very friendly atmosphere, delicious food, timely service. Strongly recommend.
We've always heard great things about this pizzeria in Alassio. We finally got a chance to try it. The staff is very friendly, and the outdoor seating is quite inviting, but it could be even prettier. We ordered two pizza pizze. The dough was excellent, and the toppings were okay (they could be better, especially on the mozzarella). Prices are average for Alassio.
I visited this pizzeria and restaurant near the Alassio waterfront with friends. We sat outside on the small covered terrace, but there are also several tables inside and outside overlooking the street. We ordered: - To share, a pinsa gallinara with pinsa base, Apulian burrata, cherry tomatoes, Taggiasca olives, and basil - pinsa ortolana with tomato, basil, fior di latte, eggplant, zucchini, peppers, and extra virgin olive oil - pinsa diavola with tomato, basil, fior di latte, spicy salami, and extra virgin olive oil For the first course, the linguine with clams, parsley, and cherry tomatoes, and for the second course, the mixed fried fish with calamari, Mediterranean pink shrimp, anchovies, and local red mullet. Finally, for dessert, a nougat parfait. The pinsa and fritto misto were delicious, plentiful, and delicious. The linguine was average, and the parfait was too sweet and not very good. The staff were welcoming, smiling, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The service was attentive, fast, and reasonably priced. 🍕Not bad pinsa for a tourist spot! This place focuses on quantity, rather than quality, of the ingredients. I repeat, it's a tourist spot, and you have to make it 💰 in a few months to survive, even in the months when there's no one there! Maybe a few more euros, and more quality, wouldn't hurt, but anyway, degustibus! 🍕
Friendly staff and good food! Many locals. Nice everyday-place with a good price. Possible to order without speaking Italian:-)
The pinsa was good – though to be fair, it’s hard to get that wrong. The fish was decent but nothing beyond standard. What really ruined the experience was the service. Dishes were not served at the same time: during the hour we were there, every person at our table received their food at a different moment. By the time the last person got their dish, the first had already finished eating half an hour earlier. The server didn’t seem particularly friendly or competent. Overall, a disappointing experience. I wouldn’t return – not even if every other restaurant in town was closed. I’d rather grab a focaccia or a ready meal from the supermarket.
There wasn't a single pizza on the menu - a bit absurd when being called a pizzeria. There is only pinsa. The pinsa is quite a bit smaller than a regular pizza while the prices are about 20-30% more than in a pizzeria. So that's a let down. And while the pizzas I had in the area here were amazing, the pinsa at this restaurant didn't really manage to beat the pinsas I had in Germany. Solid food, but for the price I expected WAY more. Service was also rather slow, even tho the place was about half full. So... Sorry but I can't really recommend it over other places around here 😕
Great wine and service but the fish platter was too oily. Maybe the pizza is better.
